Hi, I am Shreshth Verma. I am a social democrat, a full-stack developer, an entrepreneur, and a perpetual student. I’m either hetero flexible or bi. I have been programming since I was in 6th grade. At USYD, I’ll be pursuing a double major in CS and computational data science, as a part of their Bachelor of Advanced computing degree.
I am a passionate workaholic. For most of the day, one can find me working on a diverse array of projects while maintaining a moderate coffee intake. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their lives. My favorite social events though are online gaming parties. Regardless of if we’re researching for our projects separately or studying the same subject together, group studying/working with friends is my second favorite social activity. The varying degree of insights that people can offer often helps consider previously overlooked applications, causes of bugs in a project, and more.
Despite the fact that I identified most of my life as an introvert, I have discovered that I am indeed not an introvert. I am an ambivert: while I tend to be shy at parties and other social events, I thrive in leadership, managerial, and public-speaking roles. I also never shy away from voicing my opinions.
I am also an amateur poet who writes about subjects such as love, life, platonic bonds, boundaries, and much more. In my poems, I try to incorporate my STEM knowledge and use that to create mesmerizing metaphors while making sure that most people understand my poetry: throughout the fourteen or so poems I wrote, I mentioned ionic and covalent bond cleavage, arrays, quadratic equations, and astrophysics.
