I'm from New Zealand and am very excited to be moving to Melbourne in January to start my PhD in genetic medicine. I'm friendly and outgoing but tend to be a bit of a homebody as I focus on my studies. I absolutely love cooking (I tend towards vegetarian cooking and am known to use my flatmates as guinea pigs for my baking adventures). I'm 21 years old (please don't let that put you off as I am very much not the typical 21yo and I wouldn't really want to live with people my age either) and have lived with flatmates for the last 4 years. After a lot of flatting experience, I can safely say I very much appreciate a tidy house, especially in shared areas like the kitchen. For me it would be ideal to move in with some locals who know the area and could introduce me to the city. I am not a big party person but am always keen to chat at the end of the day. Also a non-smoker and don't have any pets, and am very happy to meet up over Zoom before move in to talk through what's on offer.
