ello, I am looking for a room in the inner suburbs (Prahran, South Yarra, Richmond, Abbotsford, Hawthorn, Brunswick, Carlton etc.) I am originally from Northern NSW and arrived not long ago to do my BA at UniMelb and am working for state government. I am looking to pay up to $270 pw // $1100-ish a month. I am easy-going, love music, a boogie and being social but also enjoy my downtime. I am reliable and responsible with money (rent will be paid on time). I am happy to be living in this amazing city and now am just looking for a place to be a part of my chapter.
I am a 21-year old Medicine student, will be 22 in May, from Madrid, Spain. I am going to Melbourne for approximately 1 month to do a medicine practice and I'm looking for a place to stay. I love reading, writing, drawing and MUSIC most of all! Also watching films and series. And I am very sporty, I do boxing 2-3 times a week and love biking and hiking whenever I can. I think I'm really easy-going, but I love having my things clean and in order. I live with my dad and we take care of the household chores by ourselves, so I'm pretty good at cleaning and cooking.
Hey! I am Carlos, a Spanish student who's going to study engineering at Unimelb for two years. I've already lived with flatmates of all around the world in the Netherlands, so I know how to respect others, be nice and have fun! I love to cook, read, go out, do sport (football, rock climbing, hiking), watch movies, play boardgames or whatever is fun to do! Looking forward meeting you soon,
Yooo I'm a 23-yo international undergoing my bachelor's in Design at RMIT City. I'm neat, open-minded and sociable whilst respectful of privacy. Equally down for nights out or chill stay-home nights. Avid fan of Christopher Nolan films, Haruki Murakami novels and the band Foals. Keen on strictly private rooms, inner suburbs or anything within 20min> commute to RMIT City. Not interested in shared rooms so please don't message me about them. Also, I'd love to meet people and make new friends who could show me around or just to hang out! Cheers

I’m Florence, I’m 18 and in my second year of uni doing science. I moved to Melbourne from central coast Queensland February last year to start uni. I like cooking, music, sewing, fashion, and art (anything creative!). My favourite movie is Legally Blonde. I work part time in hospo while studying, but thankfully my parents are happy to help me with rent when I need. So you wouldn’t need to worry about me being behind on payments etc. :)). My perfect location for me would be around unimelb, as I would love to start riding my bike to uni

Just give me a buzz or a text and I’ll be happy to tell you lots more :D Cheerssss

** NOT YET IN MELBOURNE, ARRIVING ON FEBRUARY 22 ** Hello beautiful people of Melbourne! I'm Michelle, a 27-year old postgraduate student from the Philippines. I'm moving to your city end of February to study at the University of Melbourne for 2 years. I'm a Copywriter by profession. Looking for long-term accommodation during my studies, preferably furnished and with stable Internet. I don't have a car so parking space is not required. I'm also okay with sharing common spaces, such as the bathroom, living room, and kitchen. I pay rent on time, and I'm really neat (okay, maybe borderline OCD is the word haha!). I have experience in co-living, as I lived with 3 lovely girls from Brasil, Tunisia and China before. I'm the type of person who really gets to know my flatmates on a social level, and not just in a "Oh-s/he's-just-someone-I-Iive-with" kind of way, but actually hang out, whilst still respecting your personal space. I enjoy art, pizza, music/music festivals/concerts, films, coffee, nature, online shopping, TV series, traveling, dogs, yoga, milk tea, the beach, and going out with family and friends. When I'm not into my hobbies, I usually just chill in my room, binge watch on Netflix (but we can watch together too!), or study/work. Don't worry, I'm normally a quiet roomie, but maybe you'll hear me sing in the shower ;-P Looking forward to finding my awesome space!
Hi, I'm Chenqin (or Reny). I'm looking for a place close to uniMelb, 10 minute by tram or bike. I'm easy going, clean and quite quietly when I'm at home. In most of the time I would do my own things but also like to chat, entertaining with housemate. When I'm free, I always do hiking and in-line skate or figure skate.
Hi, I am Ishita, 33 years. Currently pursuing my PhD at University of Melbourne and teaching as a sessional staff. I have been living in share houses for the last 15 years. I like the idea of meeting people from different cultures hence prefer this setup. During the week I am always at University. Weekends, I like to relax at home or visit friends. Do like to share meals and few drinks with my flatmates whenever possible. Ideally looking for a place within 200 $/week but happy to pay more if I love the place.
Hi, we are 3 friends from India studying in The University of Melbourne and working part-time to support ourselves. We are usually busy in our own lives, respecting each other's privacy but sometimes going out for a drink or two. We are clean and tidy and a good fit to rent any property you have. Please contact me if you have anything that would suit us. Thank you!
Hello I'm an international student who will be studying at Monash University Parkville campus from this year. I'm from South Korea, and I consider myself as a clean and quiet person. I like to stay at home most of the time and certainly not a party person. I like to watch movie, or netflix. Sometimes I enjoy cooking. My parents are supporting me financially, so never worry about late rent fees.
****Looking for a room to move in ASAP**** Hey! I’ve just moved from Perth to Melbourne to do my Masters at the University of Melbourne. I’m very friendly, respectful and considerate of others. Lover of good wine, good food and, of course, travel! 😊 Looking for a comfortable large-ish private room (big enough for a queen bed and study desk), ideally to share the house/flat with 1-2 other people. I value having tidy communal spaces so I am looking to share with someone who is the same. I would really like to find somewhere where I am made to feel at home and not feel like I need to lock myself away in my bedroom all the time. As I’ll be studying, I’m looking for something that won’t be a “party house” on the reg! At this stage I'm ideally looking for accomodation until approx July (for the whole of first semester) however if all goes well then would be happy to stay on Any questions, just ask 👍
I'm a third-year Unimelb student from Singapore. I am generally a quiet person who keeps to myself, but I do enjoy going out for the occasional brunch or cocktail. In my free time I prefer to play video games. I am quite diligent when it comes to household duties, and is willing to cook for others from time to time.
Hi! My name is Emma, I am from Slovakia and France. I moved to Melbourne a week ago and am looking for a room which would be walking distance to the University of Melbourne (max 5 km away). I will be going to study Biology, which I am really excited about! As soon as I find my home for hopefully the next year (or more if I enjoy the place!), I will start looking for a part time job. I have just settled in Melbourne after six months of travelling around a lot of the world, so I have had so many experiences and have so many stories to tell. Some could be about getting lost in the jungle, accidentally swimming with crocodiles or shark cage diving for a month... I am also a great listener and love to hear other people's stories, but I also love to have some alone time too! Travelling for so long has made me a good adapter, and by this I mean I adapt really well to new environments and people. I do not smoke, I absolutely love to ride horses (nothing beats a wild gallop in the fields) and I keep clean. Not in a maniac way though! So if you think you and me could get along and have a room available - hit me up! I would be glad to chat with you! Cheers, Emma
I am very organised and clean, honest and respectful of communal spaces. I am open to share and talk in order to have a nice place to live in. I would like to find someone who shares the same values.
I`m a full time-working Swedish 28 year-old (young?) guy. Been living in Melbs for a year now and I`m loving it! I work full-time 8-4 Mon-Fri and live for the weekends when you can usually find me down the coast surfing or in the woop woop camping. Work-nights I like to stay in and have a glass of wine and just chill. Always love a good conversation about what ever topics you can throw at me!
Hellooo, I’m 19 turning 20 this year, I’m very mature and responsible. I have extensive share house experience as I grew up living in a few share houses, so I know how to live communally in peace! I have grown up in QLD but have been living in South East Asia for the past 4 years. I will be studying a Bach of Arts at Uni of Melbourne, I'm really studious so ideally looking for a place thats quiet and relaxed. In my free time I love to cook, play board games and watch netflix. I’m really easy going, open-minded and relaxed :)
