Hey, my name is Klare and I am currently studying at the University of Melbourne. I am mostly quiet around the house as my days mainly consist of studying during the semester. When I do have a bit of free time, I like going to cafes with my friends to chat and catch up.
We are friends looking for a teamup for a share house in 2020! We study and work part time and enjoy going out for a few drinks. Would love to share a house with someone/people who are similarly aged or studying and enjoy a social home! Looking for separate rooms :)
Hi, I'm Savannah, a 27-year-old student from Sydney who will be coming to Melbourne to study my honours project in Neurogenetics at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute in Parkville. I've lived in sharehouses for nearly 10 years so know how to respect the space. I'm usually quiet during the week and like to go out to rock gigs on the weekends. I am creative and like to make clothes, paint and make homemade soaps when I have the time. I also do casual modelling on a freelance basis with a couple of agencies and work in before and aftercare at a school in Newtown (SYD) at the moment. I have a partner, Matt, who might come and visit from Sydney sometimes and two cats who won't visit but I'll probably show you a hundred pictures of them - sorry in advance I just think they are the cutest two creatures to ever walk the planet hah! I'm looking for a casual and friendly space where I can meet some new friends, maybe have a casual wine and chat, but also have the space to study when I need to. I will need to be in Melbourne before the 10th feb so wid-late January move date is best but I am flexible. I would likely stay until the end of 2020, maybe longer if it's the right fit (and available) and I decide to stay in Melbourne after my project is finished. Preferably northside suburbs.
I'm Ben, 26 years old, I am going to be completing a Masters degree at the University of Melbourne. I will also most likely be working part time. I am a very outdoorsy person but also love indoor activities such as cooking, reading, and gaming. I am generally a quiet but very goofy person. I have a very wide array of interests and can find something in common with most people. I prefer hanging out with small groups of friends with over a drink or watching a movie (or both!). I will be coming to Melbourne from the United States.
Hi! I’m doing the GradDip in psychology at uni melb and am self employed. I’m looking for a spacious room, ideally with a balcony, which gets plenty of natural light as I have a lot of plants. I’ve been living in brunswick for about an year, love it here and would ideally like to move somewhere in the area. I’m happy to go on a lease. I can move in any time between the 14th - 29th December. I cook couple of times a week, love cooking for others and I’m good at baking desserts. I mostly eat vegetarian food and trying to reduce my negative impact of the environment. Im not a party person, and I try to socialise as meaningfully as possible. I’m mostly a morning person ( that being said I’m really quiet in the morning ) My schedule is a bit flexible. Im usually busy with uni, or working on art projects , swimming, reading, practising arhatic yoga. I come with a decent collection of books, a nutribullet for the kitchen, a quirky sense of humour, and a good listening ears. I absolutely love my personal space, need quite down time but I don’t want to live like complete strangers, I would prefer to get to know each other a bit. I consider myself to be very tidy and organised, and an open communicator. Ps. Please Excuse my typos, if there are any ( I’m hopeless at fixing them). If you have pets thats an added plus for me. Ive fostered many animal over the years, so i'm quite good with them.
Hello! I am a full-time student at Melbourne Uni studying sustainability and the environment and teach English as a second language part-time. I am looking to be part of an intentional community - a place to come home to, not just a place to sleep. I'd love to live in a place with outdoor space for eating meals outside and gardening/composting/watching clouds form. Socializing when people are home would be wonderful; an openminded and welcoming vibe in the apartment is essential. In my free time I like to do yoga and play ultimate frisbee, read, and watch TV. I am a Couch Surfer at heart (in the open-arms generosity, be kind to strangers kind of way) - take a look at my profile, freedman121. I also enjoy spending time in the wilderness when I can - most of my weekends and vacations while based in Colorado for the last few years have included camping, skiing, backpacking / hiking or biking. I take the idea of community pretty seriously and would make an effort to be a positive, contributing member to this one whether through cleaning up after myself or pitching in with cooking or just asking how your day went. I can't wait to meet you!
My name is Iliana, I'm from Mexico and I'm 27 years old. I'll be starting my Master's in Law at Unimelb. Some of my hobbies are reading, cooking, traveling, shopping, cycling/yoga and, art. I'm very friendly and warm. I'm looking for a peaceful place with some friendly people.
Nirmal is quiet, minding his own business kind of person. He is known for humming to Indian music during his bath. He loves cooking (sometimes might find him dancing or salt bae'ing curries) and watching Netflix. Oh, yes, he loves dogs! 'penny wise and pound foolish' - he takes it seriously. Bonus points for having propulsive speed Internet. He is inclusive and diverse. He will be taking graduate studies at the University of Melbourne from the spring of 2020 [Mid of Feb'20] Melbourne is pretty expensive, and for a student, it goes bananas. He is looking to share accommodation whilst his studies.
I work full time as a lawyer (one of the good ones). I have a very charming, very intelligent dog, Cookie. We like to go hiking on weekends and are pretty quiet during the week. I enjoy a good chat and catching up with housemates, sharing a meal etc; Cookie likes to say hi and be near people but is self sufficient.
