$250/week•18 year old female
I'm looking to study environmental conservation at UniMelb in 2021 and need some accommodation within a relatively easy commute (tram, bus, train, walking) of the uni. A couple of things about me; I'm from Tassie, I love pets of any kind (especially cats), and I also love tea, coffee, and an occasional night out. All of that being said, I'm a clean and tidy person and would more than happy to contribute to the house/apartment's cleaning and upkeep (as a good flatmate should). I'd love to befriend and get to know my housemates, but I also definitely respect people wanting to keep to themselves.

Hello! I'm an 18-year old international student at Unimelb. I like to read in my free time, and would like to find a place with a private bedroom. I'm mostly quiet and often busy, but I'm tidy and responsible. Looking for friendly, female flatmate(s) who's easy going and respect others' privacy.

Mostly keen for a team up! Looking to find a 2 or 3 bedder around Brunswick/Brunswick West but pretty flexible with area. I'm a 29 year old female who works full time in the medical profession. I'm originally from Sydney. I'm a pretty social person so I do like to have a good relationship with housemates but I'm also happy in solitude and can compromise on whatever household dynamic. I'm laid back, super clean, respectful and empathetic. I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, going on food adventures and binge watching Netflix on cold, rainy days. I love wine and cheese nights. I also enjoy travelling, reading, podcasts, board games and boozy conversations about philosophy, science and politics. I don't mind at all if you are a smoker or whatever else, have pets etc

Hey, I'm a 27 year old guy currently working from home as a lawyer. I work fairly standard business hours from Monday-Friday but I try my best to do as much as I can outside of that. I play for a local soccer team, and really love hiking, cycling, squash and most other physical activities (including going out for a boogie). I'm quite an outgoing, cheerful and open-minded person and am generally up for a chat about all sorts of topics. Outside of covid restrictions, often catch up with mates for a beer on the weekend but wouldn't consider myself to be a party animal! I have a keen interest in politics, movies, music, sport, and learning about different cultures. I'm currently living with 4 mates but our lease is expiring soon, so it’s time to find a new place to live. Ideally I'd like to live in an upbeat, sociable share-house with housemates who are keen to hang out but are also respectful of each other's privacy. Let me know if you're keen to get in touch :)

Hey, we are two girls both 23 year olds and Masters student at Melbourne University looking for two rooms in a flat/house share. We spend most of our time in the library but do enjoy some Netflix time and a fun hangout session on a 'not so late night' at the Library. We both love food and spend our weekends exploring new restaurants and Melbourne city in general. If we sound like ideal house mates hit me a message :)

$600/week•26-29 year old female and male
Hi, We are a couple in our late 20's looking for a room in a friendly and relaxed shared house. My name is Gina and I'm a 26 year old architecture student from Norway. I'm about to start the second semester of my masters at Melbourne Uni and I'm working part-time at a small architecture firm in Flemington. I would describe myself and easy going, chilled and friendly. I tend to have a busy schedule, but I would love to grab a glass of wine on occasion! My partner, Huey, is a 29 year old property student from Perth, currently doing his masters at Rmit. He's very chilled and friendly and enjoys a round of basketball or just to relax with a good book! We've both lived shared houses throughout our 20's so we know what’s expected in regards to tidiness, chores, etc. Hopefully we'll be a good match to join your household!

This is a pre-emptive post since I already have a lease until 2021 but looking to move out to find a more sociable and creative household (post isolation realisations). Would need at least one month of notice to transfer my existing lease and ideally be able to meet in person without worrying about the cops. Ahoy potential future housemates, I am a green architect-designer in my mid-late twenties (graduated from Italy, worked in Dubai) who has lived in 7 different countries (lots of stories) before calling Melbourne my home. Currently getting my graduate degree on property development at the University of Melbourne and working part time in hospitality since I don't wanna go back to being an architect but instead want to perfect my espresso martinis. If I was to briefly describe myself with cliché mottos, mines would be somewhere around 'work hard, play hard' , 'love what you do, do what you love' and 'less is more'. I absolutely love all outdoor activities (when its not on fire), love to dance (anything that has a good beat), interested in anything arts - design - business related, a little bit of a travel addict (In good ol' days when travel was a thing) and a self-proclaimed wine guru. My home is my sanctuary so even though I like adventures and occasional boogies, home is where I recharge my batteries and feel safe. Lived with housemates my entire adult life (males, females and LGBTQ) so perfectly house trained and fully aware of personal space. Have my own busy life but nonetheless would still like to have the ability to socialise with my housemates on occasional basis ex: movie nights, odd drinks, dinners etc. Love animals of all kinds (especially dogs) but allergic to cats (sadly) and drama (not so sadly). I also have my own room's furniture, a bean bag, a dishwasher, laundry dryer machine and a smug smile. Ideally looking for a MODERN 11m2+ room in northern inner city suburbs for long term in a house/unit that has 2- 4 bedrooms, and an en-suite or a shared bathroom. Would prefer to go on a lease so happy to provide references and bank statements if required. I am considering moving out of my current place due to lack of sociability and environmentally consciousness of my housemates which has been especially challenging during isolation. So if you are a member of a mature and neat household that is looking for another crew to trim the sails, feel free to reach out. Cheers Efe

An 18yo international student from China. Currently studying in trinity college and probably will be studying at unimelb. I’m tired of living in accommodation and I want to move out sooo bad :/ I don’t smoke but I don’t mind if u do as long as not do it indoor. Also I’m a huge cat person and I love cats to death. But my parents don’t allow me to keep a pet rn so I really look forward to having a flat mate who has a cat/dog and allows me to spend time w them🥺 I’m super introverted and don’t like to talk much w people I’m not familiar with, but I could be funny and outgoing if we get along. I’m also a guitar beginner (self taught) and I may play it in my room on weekends which could be a bit annoying :( but I can surely quit it if u rlly mind. Anyways contact me if ur nice & friendly, or u like animals (esp. cats)/music/skateboarding (I don’t skateboard but I find skateboarders sickkk and I want to learn it someday) , or u have a low price room👀

Hey! My name is Dan (he/him) and I am an American (apologies for tr*mp) who has been in Melb since October 2019. I currently work full-time at a call centre (all WFH at this point) and I am starting grad school March 2021 at Uni Melb for Applied Linguistics. I currently live on the border of Fitzroy North and Brunswick East. I’m looking for a social household that also appreciates alone time. I’m super happy to have a drink or a meal a few times a week, but also would be happy with housemates that keep to themselves. I’ve also lived out of home for the past five years and moved to Melb by myself so love a bit of adventure. I’m a Pisces (for those into astrology), ENFJ (for those into Myers-Briggs) and my blood type is AB+ (for those who are vampires). In my free time outside of the pandemic, I love going out for drinks/meals with my friends, exploring museums, pretending to study at the State Library, cooking and playing scrabble. During pandem, I’ve learned to embrace daily walks, lots of Animal Crossing and even more scrabble somehow. My favourite meal is a kale, tofu and halloumi pesto pasta and my favourite colour is a dark green or a mustard yellow.

When I'm home I'm usually found cooking or baking, playing with projects like my old motorbike/even older car, doting over house plants or cleaning. In non-covid times I'd be cycling to galleries and cafes with friends, lounging around in the gardens, going out for dinner somewhere or away on day trips. I work as a commercial photographer so I sometimes have long hours and sometimes I don't
