I am a full-time student (studying occupational therapy), part-time gym receptionist who is looking for a place to live for the next 12 months. I am a keen wine drinker, dog patter and google searching enthusiast who is very social but also respectful of other's need for space, quiet and sleep. I love to cook, be outside (especially in the sun), watch documentaries and make terrible drawings. I am a clean person who is frequently described by others as 'very chilled out' and am pretty easy going. I am often out for most of the day, especially on the weekends but would also love a place where I could sit and watch TV/chill out with my housemates when I am home. Looking forward to meeting you!
I'm a 26 yo female one year away from completing my postgrad degree in medicine at Melbourne Uni. I'm originally from Sydney. I enjoy being a good mate for my housemates I am a social creature but I am also happy in solitude if people need their own space :) I've been renting with housemates since I started uni 8 years ago so I feel like I've got a grasp on this sort of thing and won't be terrible to live with! I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, going on foodie adventures and binge watching Netflix especially when I have upcoming exams. I love wine and cheese nights. I enjoy a cold beer and playing Call of Duty. I also enjoy travelling, board games, musicals and boozy conversations about history, science and politics. I am also super clean because I find it therapeutic but am highly tolerant if others aren't so much :) My lease ends Dec 11 and my close friends are all moving away so finding somewhere before then would be ideal! I have a bunch of stuff so unfurnished would be better for me.
Heya. I've just moved to Melbourne by way of Brisbane and before that, Canberra, for work with the APS. I'm clean, tidy and bill-punctual, chill, tall and nerdish; a longtalker, deadpan and absurdist banterer, dank meme connoisseur, humanities graduate, reliably good for drinks, games, generating food, dumb jokes, and making hay out of city loife. Pets are a life goal; big, sympatico, gender balanced share-households (4+) are a longstanding preference. I’m looking for the premium Melbourne sharehouse experience with some harmonious characters, somewhere colourful, inner-northish, with a bit of a garden and within reasonable riding distance of the CBD. I'm currently staying in Northcote with fam so I can move whenever, or even get on board with a team-up with other cool interlopers. If you've got a space to match and think that we might gel, don’t hesitate, shoot me a DM and let me know. No roomshares pls. Thank
We are a couple of friends, Lorenzo (Italian) who has recently moved to Australia for a new working experiences and Hamish (Australian) who has decided to move from Adelaide for the same reason. We are tidy, respectful and easy to get along with. We like cooking, going to te gym, going out for either a coffee or a couple of beers. We already lived together while studying at university in the US and never had a fight between us or with other roommates. We adapt easily and we love socializing.

Hi there! I'm Irina, a full-time student at RMIT. I moved to Melbourne about a year ago from Queensland, I'm super easy going and friendly, but I definitely appreciate some down time. I'm looking for a permanent place, or somewhere temporary until I can figure it all out! I like netflix, reading and dogs, but I'm also down to be social if that's your thing.
I am a sociable guy love to laugh and make others laugh. I am very clean and love to collaborate in home works. I love pets, bbq, chilling out. I respect people's privacy and look for people in my page. I am an IT man so if you have questions I can help you.
Hello future roomie/s! My name is Sonia and I am looking for a unfurnished room to rent or team up. I am currently working full time as a Sales Manager for a Day Spa and I enjoy what I do. My interests are flamenco dancing (Performer), all types of music and dance, traveling to Europe, road trips and adventures, having a laugh, meditation, food and coffee, going out with friends to cafe's and markets and film. I am a down to earth, friendly and positive personality that will be clean, respectful, reliable and I am looking for like minded individuals that are wanting to build a enjoyable and warm place to live. I look forward to hearing from you.
I am international scholarship student with wife and one little kid (1.5 year old at the time of moving) from Cambodia (country in southeast Asia). I will move to Australia in early January. Firstly, I will arrive Australia alone and will bring my wife and kid very soon after I settle down in my study . I am looking for a place that could accept family with small kid. I am easy going and open but I am not talkative and mostly focus on study. I will be looking for part time job there and my wife will also looking fulltime job during the stay. My family are looking to build good relationship with flat mate and we are happy to share duties and responsibility in the house.
Okay about me: I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) full time at Victoria University and working part time as a medical receptionist. I love reading, going to the theatre and listening to 70’s music in my me-time but am down for a social drink or two as well! More than anything I love a spontaneous adventure and trying something new -whether it be bikram yoga or a road trip to a foreign place. I’m also more than willing to have a chat/ debrief after work and cook a meal for everyone. I’m considerate of other people’s things and their space in general. I’m super tidy and won’t leave a mess or an array of dishes for you to wake up to. I’m really just happy to find my spot in the house and fit in with the way that everything currently works. I'm really struggling to get the balance of e-harmony meets job interview here but I hope you find me an attractive candidate? Looking forward to hearing from you :) ,Caitlyn

I am a clean, respectful and easy going person. I am social, but also mindful of people’s space and privacy and leaving people to their own devices I have an established network in Melbourne but am also looking forward to meeting new people. I am always up for shared dinner and drinking wines together. I love a good card game, good shower pressure and sunshine. I am active, but no exercise fanatic. I try to ride where I can, but also have a car.
Hey :) 25 YO; GERMAN; TIDY; FUNNY; EXCHANGE STUDENT; DEAKIN UNIVERSITY My name is Yannik and I am a 25-year-old exchange student at Deakin University. After finishing school in 2011 I moved to Münster in a flatshare with two other people and started to study business. But to be honest I don’t see myself as a typical “finance business suited management person” and maybe this is why a friend I get to know in Sydney asked me, if I would really study business? :D During my Bachelor degree I did a semester abroad in San Diego, USA. I spent most of the time with my four roommates. This time was one of my best in my life and this is why I decided to do another semester abroad later on during my Master studies. After finishing my Bachelor studies I did a gap year, moved to Munich and did an internship at the Walt Disney Company for 6 months. After that I travelled through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia for 3 months. Then I started my Master studies with the major in Marketing in October 2015 that I will continue after this semester abroad in April 2017. Besides I would describe myself as an open-minded person. Traveling really helps to think outside the box! and I think I am an over-average tidy person. I don’t really like chaos. I am really interested in sports in general, but especially in football. I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund, so maybe you have heard about the “Yellow Wall” ;). I also have played football at the football club in my hometown, but I also like playing volleyball, basketball and tennis and I try to go skiing once a year in the Alpes. The last 6 months I did CrossFit. Furthermore I am into tv series and movies (e.g. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead…). I watch a lot of Tv series with my flatmates. Last time we finished GoT the second time ;) I also like having a few beers with friends and mostly we go clubbing once a week. Last but not least I am not someone who locks himself in his room. My room door is always open and I don’t know why but in every flat I have lived in, my room evolved into a second living room :D I want to stay in Melbourne for four months (end of February). I would love to hear from you :) Cheers! Or Prost (German)! Yannik
Busy professional I manage a health club and do lots of bits and pieces on the side. Into fitness, gym and cross fit. Enjoys a drink, jazz, film and brunch. :) I'm looking for a share place with own bathroom and parking of some sort. Have shared before for a long time and looking to have something more central.
I am originally from Sweden but have lived in Melbourne for 5+ years. As a flatmate I am easy going and tidy. Love to share a drink and a laugh, but I am also respectful of others personal space. Final year accounting student looking to relocate closer to work as I am done with my studies. Work in admin/accounts in North Melbourne. Have had plenty of house share experience. I am looking for a long term place to call home. Looking forward to hearing from you! Siri
So I’m currently a full time PhD student in the Walter and Eliza Hall institute, University of Melbourne, majoring in cell death and cancer. Weekdays I’m quite occupied as you know morning to night to do lab stuff and maintain my work out routines and cooking stuff. GF is staying with me for one night during the week (date night ☺) then we hangout mostly on the weekends. I enjoy weekend outings for short road trips, brunch and cafes or just cooking and chill over a few drinks. Big G&T lover. Also I’m helping out in Ivanhoe community to referencing kids basketball games. As I’m entering my final year of PhD, I would like to live in a quiet/clean but fun loving house and prepare myself for the upcoming thesis writing period.
Hello! I'm an undergraduate student from Singapore who will be studying in University Of Melbourne. I'm a 20 year old Chinese guy, fluent in both English and Mandarin. I like music, night life, outdoor activities, almost all kinds of sports, and visit the gym regularly (literally just everything that a "teenager" loves). I'm usually very quiet, but talkative with people i'm close with. My goal is to get really good results in University, while at the same time thoroughly enjoying this overseas studying experience. I'd love to make new friends and learn about cultures different from mine. Hope to have a pleasant experience with you!
Hi we are french married couple and we are finishing our road trip and we will arritve to Melbourne to start job on long term. so we search good place with friendly people to share time and space. we are quiet and clean and respectul. so don t hesitate to contact us :)
I'm a full time student, studying science at Melb uni. I am mainly at uni or studying during the week, and I love my privacy and quiet time. I also love a drink on the weekend and am keen to meet new people and have a good chat, but am always respectful of others sleeping/work schedule.
I'm on the hunt for a fabulous new place to live and am hoping my future housemates might find me on here! I'm 31yo, a doctor, and love dogs, baking (happy to take requests!), hiking, travelling, running, brunching, finding bargains, camping and generally adventuring. I'm looking for a smoke-free, light-filled place for at least 12 months. I'd prefer a bright room that is quiet & of a reasonable size, and own bathroom and car spot preferred but not essential. I'm looking to move in anytime from Dec 12 to Jan 8. My ideal housemates would value a clean and tidy shared living space and like to get together for the occasional dinner, movie or wine & cheese night but also have lives of their own. I'd like to live with at least 2 other people though am not looking for a party house! Ideally I am looking for a pet friendly place with a courtyard or secure outdoor area as I have a gorgeous 8yo small Maltese x shihtzu dog called Harry. He's house trained, doesn't shed any hair, and just loves being around people. If your place fits the bill but isn't pet friendly I'd still love to hear from you as worst case scenario he can live with his 'grandparents'! Can't wait to hear from you! Happy to answer any questions you might have or to get together for a coffee before I head to India on Nov 3 :)
Hi there! I'm a secondary school music teacher and I work full time not far from the CBD. I'm very clean and tidy and like to keep a house that way. When I'm not drowning in marking, I enjoy a drink or two of an evening as well as binge watching netflix. I also own a few musical instruments, including a piano, so am need of a place for that to live! I have quite a bit of my own furniture since I'm currently living in an apartment by myself, so am happy to potentially team up to find a place. Feel free to send me a message if you'd like to grab a coffee and have chat :)
I'm a full-time student of Unimelb and a single mother with a kid, going to ballet classes after school. Busy during the week and love outdoors on the weekend. Also I teach Russian. I'm looking for a female flatmate with a kid too or just loving children. Usually my daughter is cheerful and not noisy at all. We're excited about moving to a new place (and the country) to explore it.
I'm easy-going, clean, dependable and sociable. (Wow, it's always hard for me to write these short descriptions.) My business partners decided to move back to their respective home countries so I've just finished closing up shop. It's back to the old IT freelancing gig for now, until I figure out my next stop, which means I'll be working from home most days for a little while. I'm originally from Delhi. I've been living here since I turned 18 so I've accumulated a fair bunch of friends over the years. Hoping to add my future housemates to the list. I usually go out on the weekends for drinks/gigs, but when I don't I like to watch movies/tv shows and read. I'm into an occasional hike or two, trying new things and keeping it real.
We are Nat & Quinn, a 27 yr old female (gay) and a 6 month old kelpie. I run my own business as a graphic designer and work in the city, and Quinn goes to puppy day care 5 days a week and is exhausted after a run at night, so is a very quiet little miss of an evening. We go on adventures all weekend, and tend to cuddle up to a book or a movie after work. Quinn is well manured, minus a bit of jumping up to say hello, but that's getting better with constant training. I have my certificate in dog obedience so i am always training her new manners. I spend my weekends and spare time training Quinn, walking and running, coffee drinking, and brunching. I spend my time at home reading, designing (drawing) and just hanging out. I'm super chill, and would love to live with similar people ✌🏼️ if you'd like to know anything further, please don't hesitate to contact me. thank you Nat
I'm friendly, clean and always up for a chat, a laugh or food! Looking for a home containing a friendly bunch of people not just a room! I'm a 22 year old medical student. Would love a room with storage space, big windows and room for my little car outside. Originally from Tasmania! Lived in share houses before so I like to think I'm pretty good at cohabitation! Let me know if you have any questions! :)
I'm easy going, clean, love healthy cooking. I like socialising with others but not a big party goer. Interests include weightlifting, touch football, music and travel. Will either begin study at the University of Melbourne or work for 6 months before travelling back to study in the UK. I like pets and have no allergies.
A social housemate who is tidy and respects peoples personal space and requirements. I'm looking for a friendly home environment where we can all socialise, rest, and work happily. I'm a student who works part time and while I like to go out and have a good time I'm happy to respect my home environment and those who are part of it. Usually just like to have a chat during dinner or watch a show in the week, bit livelier on the weekends if I'm not working. Love a good dynamic in the house but also independent and happy for all to do their own thing. If I sound like I fit the space you have to offer, get in touch!
hey guys, my name is Montanna im a 20 y/o model from Perth WA and planning to move to Melbourne early next year. Hello. My name is Tobias, I'm 24 years old and come from Germany. On the 1st of November I will start to research at the university of Melbourne. I guess I'm open minded, friendly and want to have a good time in Australia, because it's the last time befor I will write my thesis and gonna work.
Hello hello! We are an *AWESOME* couple looking for some peace of mind so we can get work done! Bruno is an entrepreneur. He owns an advertising agency in Brazil and is currently launching a new online business - so he's always working on his laptop (either at home or in some trendy cafe). His mains hobbies are reading, networking, attending seminars and exercising outdoors. Oh, and he also writes about Personal Development. Leticia is a ballerina. She has a promising career as a contemporary dancer and has even performed internationally with big names in the industry. She's a very active individual, and is always moving - either taking ballet classes, practicing yoga or doing pilates. We've been travelling Australia & New Zealand for the past 3 months in search for the perfect city to settle down. After visiting Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Auckland and Queenstown, we finally have a winner :) Right now we're looking for a place with central location to set our base. Bruno will be doing lots of work and going to business meet ups, and Leticia will be outside visiting dance studios and honing her craft. We're very easygoing and have a positive mindset, and we value a clean and organized environment. And as much as we love to chat and interact, we can also respect your privacy if you're not very talkative. Oh and 2 things that are important to mention: 1. We are both vegan and we love to cook - so we'll use the kitchen a lot! But don't worry because we always clean up after ourselves. 2. Bruno is allergic to cats and cigarettes. So it must be a no-cats, no-smoking house. If you read this far and believe we'd be a compatible match for your place, then send us a message and let's get to know each other! We can't wait to meet our new flatmate ;)
Hey there, I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney to do my postgrad at Uni of Melb in January 2017. I consider myself a pretty tidy and organised person, who loves cooking and socialising but definitely respects other people's privacy. I would love to live with others who are outgoing and sociable, and of similar age to me.
Hello. I'm an exchange student from University of Maryland looking for a place to live near the University of Melbourne. I am working on becoming a Certified Personal Trainer before I make the move to Australia and will be looking for work. I would prefer a studio or 1 bedroom flat but would also love to live with lively, active people that I could get to know in a share house. I enjoy cooking, exercising and going out to dance with friends. I have 4 months listed as my length of stay but ideally I would rent for closer to 5 to 6 months.
Kiwi in Melbs working full time and part time, Looking for somewhere to live closer to the city. Enjoy hanging out with flatmates, really easy going, I believe it should always be a two-way street when living with people.
Hi! I'm currently studying my last few months of Master of Engineering Management at Melbourne uni. I did my undergrad at UQ (Brisbane) and graduated in 2013. I'm a 25 y/o Australian permanent resident, originally from Indonesia. I need to move out from my current place on 31st December at the latest, so I would prefer to move in to a new place 1-2 weeks before that. I've lived in a college and a sharehouse before, so I'm not a stranger to communal living. I'm clean and responsible. You won't find me leaving dirty dishes in the sink for more than 10 minutes. My hobbies: trying out new restaurants, going out for drinks, playing video games, watching soccer/football, napping, and fiddling with audio gear. I'm an "extroverted introvert", which means I enjoy others' company but sometimes I just want to do my own thing. I'm currently looking for a place that's easily accessible by public transport. Budget around $150-$250 (still flexible). Please shoot me a message!
I'll be beginning my Masters of Clinical Audiology at the University of Melbourne in 2017, I'll still be working part-time, and am a 2nd dan black belt who teaches and trains in taekwondo. I am looking for a place preferably closer to the city and uni and for new housemates (1 or 2 max) who either want to hunt for a place with me or have found somewhere already and need an extra housemate. I don't have any pets, but I love them so I'm cool with yours. I'm very house proud but am by no means a homebody and when I'm not at work, uni or catching up with friends, I can usually be found out in my kayak, on my bike, at the dojang or going for a run which you would always be welcome to join me at but I won't force you too! When I'm at home, I'm quite neat (and I hope for my housemates to be the same), I'm a good cook, and do enjoy getting to share a meal with others. I love a good chat, intelligent or silly, and a household full of laughter. I believe home should be a positive and happy place and not a place where everyone goes and hides in their room at the end of the day without talking. I do however believe everyone needs their own quiet time and I am respectful of that but I will always put a good book down to chat and be social instead. :) I'm more experienced living with guys however your gender, sexual orientation, race, favourite colour, football team or star sign all hold no bearing on your suitability as a housemate to me. The only thing I ask is that you have a positive attitude and are the type of person who is easy to get along with and inclusive of others regardless of their differences. I have most things needed for a household inc. everything needed for a kitchen, a comfy couch, washing machine, coffee machine, large flat-screen telly, linen, towels, an iron etc. I don't need to bring everything with me (some of it is currently in storage already) however I definitely do not want a bedroom that is already furnished as it would not feel like home to me without my own. I am not picky when it comes to finding a place (ok, shower curtains creep me out!) however, I do have a car and a kayak so a place that has secure parking and somewhere safe to keep my bike is essential. I am also avoiding apartments that do not have built in laundry facilities and require the use of a communal/ coin laundry if it can be helped. Before contacting me please make sure your listing has the following requirements: Off-street parking, unfurnished private room, non-couples, no more than 2 additional housemates. Thank you.
Hey there, My name is Ben, im 29 and from nz. Im am super friendly, very kind, clean and respectful. I like to have a good chat and a laugh over a beverage. Hello! I'm looking for a new home for long term, 6 months + in November and the date is negotiable. I'm full-time employed and always busy, when I'm at home I'm pretty chill and need some down time, so I can't afford living in a party house but do enjoy the dinner gatherings, and don't mind your friends come over for that, just not a party house. I'm very clean and tidy, friendly and open-minded. I like to social when I'm around. I'm into travelling, movies, music, sports, photography, arts, food, coffee and cats :) I am happy to share the household as I like to keep the house clean, I'm looking for the liked -mind housemate who is clean and tidy and knows how to respect others in a shared house. Ideally I could live with the similar age housemates 28+ respectful individuals. Reliable and honest, pay rent on time. Conscious of the wastage of the energy. No party house, no drama please. Clean and tidy, happy to join the household. Independent, share when I/you want to, no stalkers, no nannies. Don't mind smokers but no smoking in the house. Open-minded, love multi- cultural, LGBT friendly, 40+ friendly. Pastry chef, occasional sweet treats :) Cat lover, meow in the house is very welcome! Feel free to PM me, thank you!
I'm originally from the Perth, and I'm here in Melbourne to study at university. I am a clean and organised person; I enjoy studying at the university libraries and in my room and I like my own space- so I will definitely respect your space as well. I do however like to be social from time to time- I enjoy listening to people, I like to bake and cook, play on the piano and recently I've gotten into yoga and running around Princes Park! I'm also collecting succulents at the moment! I'm a vegetarian (but not really strict, because I still eat fish from time to time). Though I am still in my teens, I assure you that I am more mature than my age and that I'm not interested in hosting parties or drinking until I get drunk.

Hi! Kai and I have recently relocated to Victoria (from Brisbane) and are looking at moving a bit closer towards Melbourne city/surrounding areas. I will be commencing my university degree throughout 2017 and working part time whilst Kai continues with his full time auto-electrician position. Both non-smokers, no pets and no children. We’re are pretty laid back and enjoy getting out and about. Kai loves to surf and play any kind of sport. He is a huge NRL supporter as well. I am a fan of art, music and travelling. I really value tidiness as well, especially in the kitchen and bathroom (not a neat freak just believe these common areas are best kept clean). Chances are we both won’t be around too much during the days (especially Monday to Friday). We enjoy socialising with others but both really value our down time. We are not fussed if the location is not directly in the city, nor are we fussed if the bedroom is furnished. We will happily bring along all of our own kitchen utensils as well. Ideally we are looking for a nice place that comes with a spot to park the car as well as friendly housemates. We would prefer to move out as close to the start of January as possible yet are willing to negotiate for the ‘right’ place. Please contact me with any further questions or potential offers, Thanks :)
Not a convicted felon. Looking for peeps who want to share a house not an apartment. I have a kelpie who lives with family that I would love to have sleep over once in a while, but this is not a must. I work full time and try to get out of Melbourne every couple weekends..
Hiya everyone :) My name is Claire and I am a 21 year old undergrad student looking for a place to stay over the upcoming summer! I am going to be doing a summer semester at the University of Melbourne and would really love a place that is close by (short tram ride/walkable is preferred). I am travelling over the summer until the 4th of January and will be moving out mid-February, so I am only looking for a short term place! I like playing guitar, cooking, kicking back on Netflix and struggling through GTA missions in my spare time. I will be able to pay my bills on time, I am quite a tidy person, and I am not very loud or planning on having any ~extravagant~ parties. Please let me know if you are interested in having me stay for a short while :)
I'm a fun and confident guy interested in beginning my life in a city full of oppurtunity. I am oringally from rural Seymour, so I can bring a little country flair to our home (minus the akubra). I am planning on studing Business next year at RMIT, and am in the process of acquiring a part time/full time job. I love fashion, cosmetics, food and cooking, hard work and alcohol (important)! I am easy to live with, and enjoy a bit of cleaning (I'm inhuman). I value personal space, yet would also love to binge watch 'Orange is the new Black' with you accompanied with a LARGE glass of champagne.
I am a friendly, open guy who is always looking for the bright sight of life. I have 5 years of experience in sharing a flat and I really enjoy it. I am coming from Germany for a research stay to the University of Melbourne. In particular I am doing cybernetics which is pretty much control engineering. I will stay here for approx. 3 month. As I am pretty much into travelling I want to take the chance and explore more parts of Australia afterwards. In my freetime I am always up for sports and I enjoy to try new things! I especially like to play volleyball, football, tennis, swimming. Moreover I like to go to bars and live music. A must do on my bucket list for Australia is to learn surfing! I am looking forward to a chat in real. Cheers, Felix
Hi! I'm Miri, I'm 21 and currently studying Photography at RMIT and working part time in the city. I'm a regular gig goer, taking my camera along taking snaps and vids, op-shopping and market hunting for vintage gems and some good ol' chats over a glass of red! Looking for a house that is social, happy and easy going environment, but also being aware of the occasional study cram before exams and housemates being considerate of this time. Thanks! :)
Hi peeps, I am Neha an international student from Singapore currently studying the Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne.I am fun loving and I enjoy the company of new people :) Love reading books, exploring new places , chilling and watching movies on Friday nights with an occasional glass of wine plus pizzas cos imma potato at heart. Hi! My name is Janina and I am from Vienna, Austria. I will be studying Psychology at the University of Melbourne. I would consider myself easy going and uncomplicated. I like to cook and I have a passion for baking, so one of the perks of living with me might be coming home to freshly baked cupcakes or cookies. I would like to live in a place where everyone gets along well, but also respects the others privacy, kind of a - it is great to hang out together at night but it is also cool if we just stay in our rooms sometimes. I have family in Geelong, so I might stay over there some weekends.
Hi there! I'm Petina, I'm wanting to live somewhere from approximately the 21st of Nov to mid/late December for my work. I consider myself a friendly and tidy person. I enjoy socialising but also love my own quite time!
