I am looking for a shared accommodation in the Melbourne area (less than 10 km from CBD). I am a 28-year-old female from Europe studying and working, so I am looking for a place to study and relax. I am not looking for a party house, just a place where I will feel like home. I am quiet and always clean after myself, I do not smoke. On my days off I like to go out for a walk, go to the gym, watch Netflix and read. I also love animals so this is not a problem if you have nice pets to share the flat with. I work in hospitality so I will leave home early and come back late. I am looking for a place around 140-170 dollars a week, bills and internet included, and will be able to move in around 20th February or later. I'd rather share a room with a female. Please email me if you have a place to offer and I will get back to you. Cheers !
My name is Ari, and I am moving from the United States on 15 February to study journalism at the University of Melbourne. I am 23, and completed my Bachelor’s in history from Florida International University last April. I love nature, adventure, arts, and good times. I also love travel, and have been to 19 countries, on 4 continents! As such, I’m really excited to come to Australia, and explore Melbourne and its environs. As I am pursuing a master’s degree, I take my schooling very seriously, and as such, will not be the kind of flatmate to go out partying every night. All the same, I’m definitely the type to want to hang out, get a couple pints, and enjoy all the opportunities Melbourne has on offer. I’m pretty easy going, clean, and responsible (will always pay bills on time). Overall, looking for fun, chill, and responsible flatmates with which to have an awesome first year in Australia. I am available to come see the place from 16 February. Hope to hear from you soon.
Hi! I am moving to Melbourne from Noosa in late January/early February to commence a course in Complementary Medicine at The University of Melbourne. I am ideally looking for a furnished stuido apatment close by to the university. Will consider share houses but as I will be spending some time at home studying I am ideally looking for something reasonaby quiet and private. Please let me know if you have anything available! Thankyou!
Just down to earth Tassie chicks seeking a chilled space to live, that is close to the University of Melbourne and other funky suburbs. We are all full time uni students, about to begin our second year. The three of us are always keen to explore this buzzing metropolis and all it has to offer. We like to think of ourselves as fairly arty farty, outdoorsy and open minded peeps, accepting of all walks of life. Love to have a good time but also very conscientious with our studies, eager to work hard and achieve good results at uni.
I’m an acting student so nothing excites me more than watching some movies and eating some pizza. I have just moved here from the Sunshine Coast and I am in a desperate look for a place after my mate I moved here with has essentially left me to look for a place on my own, hence why I’d rather not live with him. About to start a job at the casino. Avid lover of Star Wars ✌🏻
Hi I'm Tee, I'm 24 from the UK and I've just moved to Melbourne to start studying veterinary medicine at unimelb. I'm super easy going, very tidy, always up for hanging out - going to gigs or out for drinks. Music is a big deal for me as is red wine! I've lived in share houses for the last 3 years so I'm also very respectful of other's personal space and privacy. I'll be new to the city and keen to make the most of it!
I'm an American, from Michigan that has been living in Wellington for the last 6 months and before moving here I Thru-hiked Te Araroa, which is 3000km from the bottom of NZ to the top. So I'm always keen on a weekend in the bush. Although I have worked in Hospo/Bars for the last 5 years, I'm doing an alcohol free year and will be looking for a non-hospo job so I'll have normal hours. I'm pretty easy going, game a decent amount, but always keen for convo over tea or coffee! I'm Christian, but the loving, Non-judgmental, LGBT friendly type. :D I can move in anytime as I am now in Melbourne, and although i currently don't have a job i am actively searching and should get one in a weeks time. I have extra money saved up to last me 2 months as a precaution.
I am joining the Uni of Melbourne for a Masters Programme, reaching on the 14th of February. I was looking for a place in or near Parkville with peaceful, likeminded, hygienic minded people. I am a clean and tidy guy who respects people as well as their privacy. I am very peaceful and am an ardent believer in Trance Music. I believe in spreading and sharing good vibes only. I can take care of people when required(for example sick) and also bring a smile on their faces when really required :) I love to hangout, socialize and make new memories 🔥💯
22 from the UK, looking to stay in Melbourne for at least 6 months! Social, chilled and easy going, looking to live with similar types of people of a similar age who like to enjoy the city! Currently looking for full time work (but plenty of savings to pay rent with in the mean time)
Hi! I am a clean, happy person starting my first year of study at the University of Melbourne. I love cooking and baking and would love roommates that are happy to share a few meals during the week. Bonus points if you have a sweet tooth! (I make some mean cheesecakes!). I do, however, enjoy my own downtime. I love a good chat and would enjoy a roommate I could be friends with. In my free time I love curling up with a good book or movie and would love someone willing to watch TV or movies with me. I also enjoy my music and going out to see concerts and musicals when money allows is always a treat! I am a huge animal lover - I've lived with them all my life and grew up on dairy farms where I have always had pets. I am a respectful and open-minded person with an easy-going attitude who sings and dances a lot (quite badly, which would provide you with entertainment I’m sure). By the way, I am currently living in Tasmania and will be relocating for university so my move date is flexible until the 12th of February. And as a by the way, I do tend to swear a lot. Mostly without meaning to where it just slips out, but I thought it best to share that with you.
About me: I am 29 years old. I am from Lima, Peru.I am easy-going, honest and friendly. I love cooking. I don't have problem sharing chores to keep the home, and I am not a person who does not like to keep a house as a clean and peaceful place. Even, sometimes, it is relaxed gathering with some friends but without ending into a mess. I hold a bachelor degree in social psychology and a graduate diploma in Non-profit management. Since I concluded my undergraduate, I have been working in development programs leading the design and implementation in NGO as TECHO (A roof for my country) I worked with families affected by the Earthquake delivering emergency housing modules and families living in human settlements co-designing communities projects. After four years, I started to work as a public servant at Peru' Ministry of Education delivering technical assistance to the Learning Outcomes Measure Office and the General Direction of School Management in the design of Evaluation Plans. I love to do yoga...well I try to practice because I found out that It is relaxing. I respect the privacy of others and sometimes if you need help in something do not doubt to ask me. Also if you need to keep a quiet moment do not have any doubt that I will respect that and I will stay as a ninja without making any sound. Why am I moving to Melbourne? I am moving because I have been accepted at the University of Melbourne to study the Master in Social Policy. I am planning to stay one academic year. What place am I looking? I am looking for a place close to the University ( I mean that stay for walking of 30 minutes as maximum ) as CBD, Fitzroy, Carlton, West Melbourne, Collingwood, Parkville (*). One private room, I can share the bathroom. Also, the house must have an equipped kitchen and if it possible has a laundry machine. (*) that includes the bills into the rent. Also, if it is possible, that can give an invoice or a lease receipt. Because I am going to need it to support my expenses for Peru's National Scholarship Office (just if it is possible). I am moving to Melbourne because I am starting my master degree in Social Policy at UniMelb. I am planning to stay one year and a half, so I am looking for a place to live for a long time and great flatmate to share this fantastic time. I am travelling on 15th and arriving for 17th, so I am looking for a landlord or a co-tenant that can accept to have an inspection by Skype. If you are that person, please send me a message. Cheers
Hello, i am Gabby. I am a 2nd year History major at The University of Melbourne and work part time in the CBD in retail. I am really mature for my age, i don't party and i am very considerate of my room-mates by maintaining a clean, quite environment. I am happy to socialise with my room-mates in the evenings to watch some Netflix, get a few drinks from a bar or just have a nice chat. I am trying to find a new place to live in preferable Fitzroy, Carlton, Brunswick, Parkville so i can be within bike riding distance to both University and my work. I am really easy to live with and have experience living in a shared house. If you have any questions let me know :)
* Looking for a furnished room in January - March 2019 * My name is Lisa,I am a 27 year-old German from Heidelberg coming to Melbourne in January 2019 to work there for 2 1/2 months. I am looking for nice flatmates who want to share their time and their flat with me during that time. I am open-minded, sociable and reliable. I like outdoor-activities such as hiking and skiing and meeting with friends outside. And I love cooking ;)
Hey I'm Nicole, 20 years old! My background is Filipino although have lived in Australia since 2007 (yes I am fluent in English), I grew up in Sale and moved to Box Hill in 2016 for uni, I then moved to West Melbourne in February 2017 and currently still live here. My lease ends on the 17th of February and am in need of a place to stay long term. I can move earlier if needed I am a friendly, outgoing, assertive yet super duper respectful person. As corny as it may sound I'm that friend who will be there if you ever need a shoulder to lean on! I am a very hygienic person and if I were asked to clean then I am able to clean very well I currently work for Lucky Entertainment and Trill in the city/. I do TRULY love to go out but unfortunately I will have to minimize that to only once a week since I'll be at uni most days. I am not the type of person to come home after a night out and be loud if that is what you're thinking, I am very mindful of others. I also work for a food truck on the weekend, love to dance, freelance model, do hair and listen to a lot of music! Ideally, I would like a decent room to fit my average-sized study desk in. I do not have a bed at the moment but I will be able to get one once I move out (if needed). I am a student studying Aviation this year. I do not mind where I stay as long as I can access a train to get to Moorabin as this is where my flight training base is. I do not drive however, I have a mountain bike that I get around with as well as use public transport quite frequently. The closer to public transport, the better! If I sound like a potential flatmate then I would love to hear from you!
Greetings from wintry Finland! We are easy-going, adventurous and tidy couple near our mid-twenties who wish to find a nice place to call home, and lovely housemates to stay with for at least two to six months. We would prefer North Melbourne/Fitzroy area, but would consider other areas too (which isn’t too far away from RMIT uni). Juuso is studying economics and is doing his exchange semester in RMIT University (Feb-June). He is sporty (mostly rock climbing, football and gym atm.), adventurous and always ready for a chat. Heini (the girlfriend) is studying medicine in Finland and decided to take a year off to explore Australia. She is going to search for work in Melbourne. She likes to chill out with a glass of wine, have a long night talks and do all kinds of sports. She is also passionate about music. We are looking for housemates who like to chill, have random family dinners, sometimes have a night out with us and give space occasionally when needed. So basically we are looking for friends, not just a shared flat. 😊 We will arrive in Melbourne (from our NZ road trip) 8th of February and it would be great if we could arrange a day after that to meet and see the flat before moving in. Our budget is $350-400 per week. If you want to know more about us or have any place suitable, don’t hesitate to contact us. 😊 Cheers! Juuso & Heini
Hi! I'm Sakina, and I'm a postgraduate student studying a Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Melbourne. I'm from Sri Lanka and I moved here in July 2017 so I'd consider myself a newbie! (hehe). In terms of being a flatmate, I'd love to live in a clean environment and will make an extra effort to be clean and tidy up wherever I live. I also think it's important to have a healthy and engaging relationship with my flatmate, so I'd ideally look for someone who is outgoing and fun, but also gives me my space and has their own! In my spare time (lol, what is that when you're a Masters student?), I love watching tv shows, movies, listening to music and reading/writing. I love coffee, and am always open to finding coffee spots in and around the area! I am also an explorer by habit and love to go around the city to visit cool spots. I work part time with children and do creative work here & there. Let me know if you're interested! :)
I've Been working for a few years in Perth (where I'm originally from) and going back to uni to study my masters Melb University. Very easy going, traveled around a fair bit and live in various places both in Australia and overseas. Love to play sports, be outside, listen to all types of music and explore new places to eat. I'm Neat, tidy and respect other peoples space and privacy.
I am turning 21 this year in August and I am new to Melbourne! I am neat, funny (I'd like to think so), and also very sociable, if you are. I think I'd be able to click with mostly anyone! oh! and I'm from Singapore, I'll be studying in the RMIT City Campus for 4 years so I hope I meet fun and nice people! Cheers!
We are couple from Indonesia, I’m from Bali and my Bf (Miguel) is from Padang. We are clean and tidy person, we like to keep everything clean and both of us also working part time in CBD. We love to stay in our room when we have day off, but the fact that we spent so much time for work and study. And the last thing is we really respect other’s privacy :). Cheers.
Hey there! I am an almost 21-year old Masters Student who is looking for a place for a medium-term stay (at least a couple of months, maybe more). I am 100% set financially so there will be no need to nag me re money and I am clean, respectful and happy to have a good chat. I am a vegetarian (all good if you aren't though) and will be quite the busy bee, working and studying. My only requirements are that the place is easy to get to from Melbourne Uni and that you don't mind my very sweet boyfriend staying over on weekends. We are quiet and drama free, so no worries there. Would love to hear from you! x
I'm a 22 year old international student from Sri Lanka studying my Robotics Engineering bachelors at Swinburne University.
I moved to Melbourne 6 years ago as a uni student and have been renting since. I currently work full time as a graduate engineer and I'm looking for a place that I can call home, unwind from a long day of work and perhaps even have a cuppa with my housemate. I'm respectful of ones space and privacy and believe in healthy living. I'm the sort of person who derives order from chaos and hence always strive to have my surroundings well organised and clutter free.
