Hi, I'm a student about to go into my second year of my bachelor of fine arts. As a housemate I'm generally very quiet and clean, but love cooking (not just for myself but for others). I'm very quiet during the week and spend a lot of time reading books or watching films, but I love to catch up during the weekends and socialise. :) I'm a vegetarian but have lived with both meat eaters and vegans so other peoples' food choices don't bother me! Also, I come with many houseplants. I'd love to live with other people involved in the arts, or other students but this isn't a necessity!
I'm Ben, 23, often described as being loveable. I love hanging out and I'm quite respectful and clean. If you're looking for someone to go to gigs with and all round cultural events or even just have a drink and chat I'm always happy to oblige. I also come equip with various instruments, video game consoles, a washing machine and microwave, so fun times for all!

Currently studying Master of Agriculture at the University of Melbourne. Looking for a quite place to call my own for the next 6 months+. I tend to be very particular with keeping the house neat and tidy so a messy house will not be a problem. Love hiking , catching up with friends and binge watching tv shows.
I'm a great cook, loves to share food with others! Sociable and chatty, but like time to myself too and am pretty quiet. Between uni, sports, work and studying I usually keep myself busy throughout the week and weekend. Look forward to meeting you soon!
I'm Conni, a 24 year old geology/environmental studies postgraduate student at melbourne university. I've had experience living with all sort of different people in Germany as well as London so I know how things are workingin a great shared house ;) I'm from Germany and I will stay for one year. I am creative, crazy, very thoughtful and very fun to hang out with and I like a good laugh. I have probably read about 5000 books but you will get the biggest nonsense out of me (you don't even have to try very hard). I like to play a bit on my Ukulele and I love all kind of arts, individuality and people who do things their way! I'm kind of nerdy when it comes to Geology and Arts and books. But always easy to get along with and interested in all sort of stuff - especially people and music. When I manage to do some outdoor activity I am really excited about it! That includes skiing, climbing, hiking, ... travelling too. If nature is to far away, I try to ignore that by doing a lot of work out in a park/beach/playground/... I'm a vegeterian and I like to keep kitchen and bathroom clean.
I am a professional musician. Just completed my Bachelor of Music. I play Sax and Harmonica. I am touring Europe in June for a month. Need to rehearse in Brunswick for the tour. Often away on weekends for festivals. Very considerate housemate. Love to cook and then clean. Very able to look after myself. Friendly but respect others privacy and able to behave myself.
My name is Alexia, I have just moved from Sydney to Melbourne and am looking for a share-house apartment. I am starting up a graphic design course here so I will be studying as well as working here. I am a friendly, outgoing person who enjoys keeping fit, cooking and socialising.
I'm really easy going, looking for one or two people to share a place. I work 2 jobs and keep things tidy but I'm not too crazy with it. I keep to myself but would be down with having drinks or hanging out once in a while, and I have a cat.
My name is Jess Donaldson and im from Tamworth, NSW. Im very friendly and easy going. I love to help out and am considered a tidy person, but most of all a relaxed and happy person that is always here for a chat and a helping hand. Im very creative and passionate, arty and a lover of music, singing and dancing and acting. I'm looking at coming to Melbourne in the mid year and hoping to study fashion design in order to become a fashion illustrator. Im time efficient and respectful and love when people are passionate and express themselves. I love travelling and exploring and try to be positive in situations.
Hey! I am a 22 year old Dutch girl and I just arrived in Melbourne. I will be working here on a research project at the ACU for the next couple of months. I am looking for roommates that would like to hangout and share a meal together, but I sometimes enjoy some alone time as well. A little bit about myself; I like red wine, reading books and I am scared of spiders. Hope to hear from you! Cheers, Hilde
Hi guys, my name is Miranda, a 24 year old girl (or women, I think something in between haha) from the Netherlands. I arrived in Melbourne about 7 months ago and totally love it! Not only did I fall in love with the city but also with a real Aussie. I just finished my Masters in Nutrition and Health with an internship at the Royal Childrens Hospital. I am really excited at the moment because they offered me a part-time job as a researcher for 2 days a week (don't worry, I'm not a boring researcher who's wearing a labcoat and glasses all day haha). In addition, I will volunteer for another 3 days a week. In the meantime I will be looking for other full-time jobs too. I really like to bake and cook some healthy meals, sport so now and then (I even started playing footy), and like to be creative with my sewing machine. I've always lived with other roommates and that's really nice because people are often around in the common area. I am really social and like to get to known my roommates, eat together, watch a movie and drink some tea or wine. At the same time I'm very independent so I also enjoy moments to myself. I would love to meet you if you think we will be a good fit!
Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 22-year-old student who’s looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in order to pursue my Master’s degree in Food science at the University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic, clean and tidy! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. Looking to rent a place for a minimum of 4-6 months and can extend it if it works out fine. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I’ll be starting with my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. Also enthusiastic about patting dogs and watching funny dog compilation videos. I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along and would like to team up or you have a room available in your house, hit me up! I’m currently travelling overseas and will be arriving in Melbourne around the 21st of February. Send me a message if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon :)
Hi there! My name is Gabi, and I am moving from Brisbane to Melbourne this year to study a Master of Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Melbourne. Looking for a clean, quiet and relatively central share house with like minded people. Looking to move in around the 22nd of Feb and looking to stay long term (1 year plus). Please send me a message if you have a spare room or looking to teamup! :)
New to Melbourne, from Sydney, studying law at Melbourne University. Friendly, considerate, curious and open minded. I enjoy traveling and exercise. I try to live a healthy lifestyle, love swimming, playing badminton, good coffee, and enjoy healthy cooking. Hope to find a place near Melbourne university for either a 6 - 9 month stay, or until end of June 2017.
Hi guys, I'm in my early 20's, studying a master course in Design School of Melb Uni. People usually call me a nature lover. I love travelling and enjoy doing some easy hikes. Most of the time I am a laid-back person (except when I am overwhelmed by exams and deadlines :P ) I enjoy spending time exploring various cafes in search of the perfect coffee and desserts, cooking with fresh ingredients from the markets, hanging out with friends or planning my next adventure overseas. I lived in the Netherlands for a year as an exchange student. so I have the experience of living with housemates with different cultural background and habits. Mutual respect is the key to everything. I love learning about other cultures and meeting people from all walks of life. I am not just looking for a place and some flatmates to live with, but a place to be called a second home and some really good friends :). Looking for some friendly and tidy people. Looking forward to see my new housemates!
Hello! we are both 23 year old, non-smokers who are studying postgraduate courses at the University of Mebourne. Maddy is from the UK, and doing a PhD in geochemistry with hopes of finding some diamonds, and Susie is starting her Masters in Nursing. We have both had previous experience renting and are looking for a share house or apartment to rent within commuting distance of the universty. We are hoping to find somewhere that will allow us to get involved with the rest of the house in the evenings over dinner or a film but that will also allow us to have some privacy when we have deadlines coming up! We both have working hours around 9am to 5pm+ during the week :) and so are not huge party people but wouldn't say no to a beer! We hope to hear from you soon!!
Greetings our future flatmate/flatmates. We are two, Lucie (24) and my partner Costas (26). We are a friendly couple, Lucie studies business English in CBD and Costas international business in Melbourne Polytechnic. We have experience in living in a shared flat/house individually and as a couple aswell, therefore we are peacefull, we know how to respect the house rules, how to be clean and quiet when needed. Lucie loves drawing, yoga, nature. Costas loves baking, science and motorcycles. We are as similar as black and white colour but get along as good as pizza with beer. We are responsible as individuals and as a couple, we follow etiquette. We don't look for a party house. Both of us can cook and know how to manage fridge. We both clean after ourselves and know how to maintain clean, especially shared spaces like bathroom and kitchen. There is not much that we would consider a perfect flatmate, we highly appreciate: * Not a frat house but an adult environment * A mature personality * A clean nature * Friendly people (being friends and not just flatmates is just awesome) What we offer * We are clean * We are quiet * We are open people * We are non smokers * If you like what we cook you can join without any problem, * If you want to join a conversation, a game, a movie, anything as long as you are friendly you are welcome. * We come in peace, we negotiate and dialogue and compromise. * Any knowledge we have can be yours we would be happy to tell you all about any skill that we have. * Awesome stories from around the world * Amazing food :D

I'm a 25-year-old exchange student from Germany studying a semester abroad at University of Melbourne. I am a laid-back and relaxed guy who likes to hang out with friends and I am doing a lot of sports like soccer, volleyball, running. Moreover I want to learn surfing while here in Australia :) I already lived in various shared houses over the years so that I'm used to that kind of lifestyle. I would love to do some stuff together with my future roommates but everybody should have the chance to have time for himself as well. I would love to hear from you. Cheers, Tobi
I am a research student at University of Melbourne, Parkville. I am tidy, easy going, friendly, non-smoker, and don't have pet. Most of the time I spend in my lab. I am looking for friendly people and a place near the University of Melbourne.

I'm a friendly, quiet, clean and easy going woman. I like sport and travelling. Hi, I am an architect teaching & doing research at Melbourne University. At the end of the day I like to free my mind by either doing some sports activities, or just riding my bicycle. Originally Italian, I have been living in Melbourne for few years. I like travelling, photography, cooking and enjoying some company at evenings with a nice glass of wine.
Hey! I'm from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, U.S headed for a semester exchange at the University of Melbourne starting in July! I am looking to live with other University students who are open to hanging out. I'm pretty chill - neat but not crazily so. I love outdoor activities (hiking, camping, going on runs, etc.). About me: environmentalist, vegan, psychology major, I play guitar and love to cook and laugh at almost anything.
Hello! I am a Canadian student going on exchange to the University of Melbourne for a semester and I will be needing accommodations between February 20th to June 30th! Clean and tidy, fun and easy-going, very chill. I enjoy watching movies and TV, video games, cooking (eating), and having a good time. While I'll be focusing on studying and will be looking for part-time work, I will always be up for sharing a meal and/or drink and going out for adventures! I am a non-smoker, but smoking is okay. I am also fine with pets!
I have recently moved back to Melbourne after working non-stop for the past few months, and am looking for a sharehouse in Melb. I spent 8 months here last year payin between $600-$1200 per week for serviced accomodation, so am looking at something different this year to enjoy financial freedom. I would love an apartment building that has a gym, and pool/tennis court as I love swimming and tennis. Alternatively, somewhere with a beach would be great too. I always clean up after myself straight after using the kitchen, and am friendly and easy going. I am starting my second university degree in March after completing my bachelor of accounting already.
Hi, I'm Leon, 25, Male, Graphic Designer looking for a place to stay for the next year or two. I am from Singapore and will be on a work visa for the next two years in Melbourne. Currently looking for a job, I've just graduated from RMIT, having done a degree in a bachelor's degree in design (comm.) I'm usually someone that keeps to himself more often than not and will not be a bother to people as I don't really invite a massive amount of friends over every single week. I like to chill and just have a movie/tv series binge, or probably just have a good chat with my future friends in the household! I used to play soccer and was really active, but not so much now. I just draw on my free time and dreams to be a tattoo artist.
Are you in need of a housemate? A friend? Maybe just some random who will offer to make you tea each night? Hi, you might remember me from, 'has Cameron got his wallet?' 'Where's his phone?' 'Yep, he missed his flight again.' ... I cook the worlds best spag bol. theres no joke there. I like beer, wine and tea -but never at once. Im clean and dream of a minialist lifestyle, but then, Im always fighting the inner voice of "you can't throw that out. Mum gave you this ugly and utterly useless ornamental pot with no function from Vietnam and one day she might come by -even though she hasn't in two years- and know that its gone!" I work and study like most average joes. Easy going, out going, clean. (Mum was also the type who made us meticulously scrub the toilets before the cleaner came.. rubber gloves and all) ..Please don't let me become my mother. My sublets ending and looking for a permanent home north of the river, collingwood, fitzroy, carlton, clifton hill even richmond ect ect. 170-230p/w. I'd stay south for the right house down here. House or terrace though, not so keen on an apartment. But who knows
Originally from country Victoria, I have lived within close proximity to Melbourne CBD for the last 10 years. I work both during the week and on weekends, both jobs involving managing and coordinating staff within the hospitality industry. I am passionate about social justice and also studying Youth Work (currently deferred). I enjoy an active social life and am often out catching up with friends. When at home, I take pride in keeping my environment clean and liveable. One my favourite activities is planning a menu and meal prepping for my work week. So there will always be food around!
My name is Soren, and i'm 26 years old coming from Denmark. I will be studying in UM for the next 5 months. I Study a master in Economics from Aarhus University in Denmark. Back home in Denmark, I have lived with flatmates for the last 5 years, so i'm well known to the rules of cleaning, closed doors and making food together. When i don't study i very much like to cook my self. I like to experiment in the kitchen trying new dishes and learning new techniques. I like to run, and hopefully you will be able to show me around in Melbourne in a pair of running shoes. Looking forward to hearing from you. Soren

Overall I'm easy going and social. Love staying in for a movie night or just chill with some good food on the table. Been traveling on and off for 5 years. My plan is now to be in Melbourne for minimum one year. Im working full time in the city so will be working both day and night shifts. On my days off I Usually spend the day hanging out with friends. Like indie, rock and electronic music. Up for partying and bar hang outs here and there. I'm an easy, social person. Don't take to much space. Like to keep myself active. Have no problems with animals. Love them all, so far. Just text if you have any more questions👌
I've been told by friends that my version of a messy room is their version of "clean", and I also find cleaning very satisfying, so I shouldn't be a problem when it comes to keeping tidy. I'm friendly and enjoy socialising, but I also keep to myself. I don't drink. My main hobby is listening to music- I'm a very avid user of Spotify! I'm moving from Sydney to Melbourne for uni.
I'm a 27-year old guy. I moved from Perth to Melbourne recently to study a Master of Engineering at the University of Melbourne. I'm an easy-to-live-with, friendly, outgoing, neat introvert. I enjoy getting to know people - stories - and all that makes being human wonderful. And, I'm melancholic so I value me-time as well. In my spare time I journal, write songs, play guitar, and take photos.
Hey, we're three guys from Spain and the UK. Ideally looking for a whole house to take over the lease but willing to settle for any kind of shelter. Many a cold, hungry night below the South bank bridge have forced us to face the bleak reality of Melbourne's rental market place. We're students at the University of Melbourne, chilled, clean, and easy to live with. We are respectful of each others privacy but still know our way around a night out. If you think we're a good match, swipe right. In all seriousness, please get in contact with us, seriously. Pls.
Hi, I'm Faustine, a French undergraduate student in Bachelor of Arts. I've been living in Melbourne since July for an exchange at University of Melbourne but moved out from my place in order to travel a bit two months ago. I'm now coming back from Vietnam for my last semester and am looking for a home. I am super easy going and tidy, always up to have a drink, go out or cook vegetarian meals together. If I manage to buy a guitar, you'll hear me playing sometimes, otherwise I'm really chill and independent and you'll see me drawing, reading or watching a movie/ an episode of Black Mirror. Hope to see you soon !
If you want the short version of me then you've got : open-minded, cheerful and creative. It's true, me myself and I are great people : easy going, clean and always smiling ! I'm looking for a long term accommodation, home to people I can regularly hang out with. I'll share a delicious meal, a good movie or an intense debate any day. But if you need your space, no worries, I'll probably need to get some work done too, eventually... Back in France, I used to study engineering and now, I'm finishing my studies with a one year masters in project management . I'm hoping I'll love it! But I haven't told you of my greatest passion yet! Ah, the wonders of wandering the world. I've had the good fortune of living in several countries (Canada, USA, Netherlands,..) and I've backpacked through quite a few others (Hungary, Benin, Russia, Cambodia,...). I enjoy learning about the world so if you have any stories about places you've been, I'll be happy to hear them! So what do I do when I'm at home and nothing else beckons? I'll cook, sometimes with amazing success and sometimes with ... interesting results... This is also because I love to eat and let's face it : nothing beats a homemade burrito! If I don't feel like mixing spices then I might read. I can do that for hours on end! But if all that lazing around has me bursting with energy, I just might go for a nice long run or turn up at the next yoga class to get some sweating done. Sharp body, sharp mind! So if you're interested in meeting my 22 year old self, I'm basically available 24/7. If you want to have a chat, show me the goods (I am talking about the room eh...) or just hang out, give me a call!
Hi guys, I'm a second year medical student based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Neat and tidy and always on time with rent. Looking to share with only 1 or 2 other people who are definitely staying for the entire year (cause who likes moving). Looking for somewhere cosy and chilled out and close to good coff! **please only message if your place is located in the suburbs I've listed**
Hi! My name is Giammarco I am an italian student, I come from Rome, and I will be in Melbourne from February till August thanks to an exchange students project with the UoM. I am an easygoing guy, I will be attending lessons, studying and working in the weekends so won't be at home so much, but when I will I'd love to chill out and share some time with my flatmates. I like to cook ;)
I am a student from the United Kingdom coming to study History at the University of Melbourne on an exchange semester. I love to play the guitar, read, bake and I'm incredibly excited to explore and get to know Melbourne! I'm clean and tidy and enjoy quiet nights in with a film and a glass of wine (or a hot chocolate!) but I also enjoy going out and having a good time. I have lived in shared accommodation for the past year and a half and so I am acquainted with all of the responsibilities and normalities that come with this. I am eager to experience all that Melbourne has to offer!
My name is Michael, I am a 23 year old coffee professional from Perth and moving to Melbourne at the beginning of March. I am starting a job as a coffee trainer for an awesome company in Collingwood and will be working 5-6 days per week. I enjoy coming home to relax with a tasty beer or wine, some good conversation and a movie. On my nights and days off I enjoy exploring the city for new places to eat and drink and spend my holidays snowboarding as much as possible! I have been renting for the last 6 years including in Melbourne, Perth and Switzerland and have never been late with any payments. I am trustworthy, clean and considerate and excited to find my new home!
I work in the Sustainable Energy industry and study Masters of Engineering at RMIT. I've worked in the energy industry for 8 years. I enjoy socialising and networking with the occasional quiet downtime to recharge. I also volunteer in the community and professional societies in my spare time. Hi there, my name is Franzi and I'm an 24 year old architecture student from Munich, Germany. I am studying at the University of Melbourne, starting this semester. I'm a quiet and clean person, I love meeting new people and get to know new places. In my spare time (if there is, usually my studies consumes most of my time awake) I go running, swimming, hiking, climbing (bouldering) and occasionally play the piano (if I can find one). I'm into photography and photo editing. I'm a food junky and like all kinds of cuisines. I also cook a lot at home even though I wouldn't call myself a specialist in that. I am engaged to a wonderful indian software engineer who is currently living and working in Santa Monica, California.
A coastal girl who's recently moved to the city! I work full time for an online fashion boutique and casually on the weekends for General Pants Co. I'm very cruisey and consider myself very easy to get along with. I like to be social and have a drink and a good time but also enjoy time to myself! Keen to live with more than 1 other person :) also keen to get off my besties lounge room floor so I'm looking for something around mid March!!
This is me and my lovely girlfriend Esperanza. We are the perfect couple, very relaxed and easy going. We are from Venezuela, South America. We have the latin flavor, trust us. We love cooking (we haven't had a proper Aussie BBQ yet), drink some beverage (tea, coffee, wine, or the occasional beer or rum), have conversations, some Netflix or share stories from time to time. We are very, very clean and we would like our soon-to-be roommate be exactly the same. We work Mon-Fri, occasionally some weekends. If you want a chat with us just shoot me a message. Love.
Hey guys.. I'm pretty much always relaxed and an easygoing kind of guy. Basically all about having a good time, enjoy a good night out, but also like to chill a bit alone from time to time, listening to music, doing any type of sports, watching netflix and reading.. In terms of living, I clean up after myself and do not mind helping around the house if needed. Some background information.. Grew up near Amsterdam. Worked in construction, restaurants, bars, warehouses, factories you name it. But for now I am a student and will be staying in Melbourne for an Exchange period at RMIT University, on a Working Holiday Visa, and will also be looking for a part-time job.
Hi there, I'm a student, aged 20, in my third year of a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne in Politics and Philosophy. I currently work full-time, and will go part-time over semester to ensure I can pay the rent! I've been living in a sharehouse for the last year and a half, and looking to move somewhere that is a bit more spacious near the city and the University. I would prefer somewhere already furnished, but I'm flexible on this point. I'm generally pretty laid back and happy to be as social or as private as my housemates prefer. Not a huge party fan and will check with housemates before inviting people over. I spend a lot of my time working or studying, but happy to kick back with a drink when I get a break. If I sound like a good fit for your house, shoot me a message. Thanks, Corey
Hi! I'm an exchange student from Sweden that studies biomedical engineering. I'm doing one semester of my Masters here in Melbourne and need a place to stay until the end of June! I'm not really picky about the wheres and hows of this accommodation, as long as we get along :) I have lived together with other students and non-students before in shared accommodations and have really enjoyed that experience! Since a few weeks back I have a newfound interest in diving after took my Open Water in Vietnam, and I will be looking for opportunities to do some dives during my time here. Other interests include beer, socializing and the usual student stuff. Hope to hear from you!
