Hi there, I'm Vito, 30yo. I will be moving to Melbourne on 27th March and will be working at the University of Melbourne full-time for a 3y postdoc, so I'm looking for a nice place (and people) where to stay for a long period. I'm very easygoing and clean, not a clean freak though. I'm originally Italian, so love to cook and drink :), and will be traveling from time to time abroad. I will be pretty much busy with work but I enjoy going out for beers/party and watching movies.
A Business School student, been in Melbourne for about a year now. Looking for a personal bedroom in a shared house, with friendly, responsible and clean flatmates! Super easy going and love a good chat over wine with housemates whenever time permits.
My name is Chinglen and I am a graduate student at the University of Melbourne. I am looking for a house share or flat share but not room share. I love playing games and sports specially football. As a student, I prefer quite places with nice people.
I'm new to Melbourne! I study part-time & do freelance marketing work but am looking for full-time marketing jobs in Melbourne. I'm looking for housemates that will become friends! I like going out for dinners and drinks, exploring new places, outdoor sports, and spending time in watching Netflix. I don't want to live in a big party household but wouldn't mind the occasional gathering. I'd ideally like to have one or two housemates and preferably my own bathroom but flexible with that. Living near a tram top would be great too. I give people their space, I am respectful and I keep things nice and tidy :)
My name is Becky, I'm in my third year of Nursing at La Trobe. I landed at the end of Feb in Melbourne, after backpacking for a few months in Europe, and am currently looking for a room to rent in Melbourne, yay! I am now ready to live with some more friendly, open-minded, empathetic, cultural, appreciative, cosmopolitan people, as I'd consider myself to be. I loooove to cook, try new things, wine night, cheese, good conversation, cycling, markets, art, nature, living my best life and I am very much enjoying Nursing. I think I'd make a great housemate and I'd be that person to replace the tp when it gets low kinda thing ya feel? lmk what ya think! :)
I’m in Melbourne on a WHV (9 months to go from England!) and looking to move into a house asap. I’ve lived in heaps of sharehouses back in the uk and know the drill - I always end up being the one buying toilet paper and house things 😂. I play netball and just started work as a digital designer / marketer for a mental health charity. I used to work in a restaurant here (can get us half price drinks/food at lots of venues 😬). I’ve just moved out of my first sharehouse in melb - was ther for three months but everyone keeps themselves to themselves with doors shut so keen to move into more of a house fam as always down for a drink and chat rather than the ‘how’s your day’ small talk aha. I like to spend my weekends exploring Melbourne and finding fun events to go to with friends from Uni etc here. Let me know if it’s possible to view the house! 🙂 thanks! Laura x
Hi, I am moving to Melbourne in August 2019 from Brisbane to commence university in 2020 and am going to be working part time. I am a fairly quiet person who tends to keep to them self but also am sociable. In my spare time i love to read and experiment with art and craft. In Brisbane I work in an environmentally friendly gift store called Biome. When I move to Melbourne I am hoping to either work in a similar shop or preferably a book store. I am looking for a place that is fairly quiet with easy access to public transport, especially to the major universities (like the Parkville campus for Unimelb). Overall I am a very friendly person who is looking forward to the move and am hoping to find a place before August.
Professional couple who have just recently moved back to Melbourne from the UK. We are an Aussie Couple (Tamim 33 & Lynnet 30) looking for a house share in the Inner North / East Melbourne Area. We both work 7-5 during the week and enjoy exercising and the occasional sneaky mid week drink after work. On weekends we like to get outdoors as much as possible, either riding or walking. We enjoy a good coffee, beer, yoga and trying new foods. We value tidiness and cleanliness, are respectful of others property and space and we enjoy making new friends over a beer.
I am a 21-year old Medicine student, will be 22 in May, from Madrid, Spain. I am going to Melbourne for approximately 1 month to do a medicine practice and I'm looking for a place to stay. I love reading, writing, drawing and MUSIC most of all! Also watching films and series. And I am very sporty, I do boxing 2-3 times a week and love biking and hiking whenever I can. I think I'm really easy-going, but I love having my things clean and in order. I live with my dad and we take care of the household chores by ourselves, so I'm pretty good at cleaning and cooking.
A recent graduate who works part-time as a salad artist until she finds a full-time job. Not a vegetarian but somehow there's no meat in my pantry and fridge. A senior but not expensive housemate, featuring: • 3+ years experience in house-sharing • Always clean, respectful and responsible • Above-average friendliness • Hosted 1 garage sale, 3 birthday surprises and 2 welcome parties for the housemates • Owns a 50" television, a wireless printer, a bike and a ukulele • Fluent in English and Mandarin (I'm also a private Mandarin teacher) • Overall, a very likeable young woman The place I currently live in is actually awesome but I would like to move to a more interesting location and meet new wonderful people.
Hi I'm Shawn. I moved to Melbourne less than a week ago from New Zealand for my Master's at Melbourne University (part time). I'm also working full time as a Civil Engineer (starting 1st April). I'm neat, cleanly and organized. Love to swim, dive, hike & meditate. I also enjoy a home cooked meal and a glass of wine. Looking for a place in close proximity to Melbourne Uni for 12 months.
Hi everyone! I'm Ella - 24 - working full time at an AFL club. Looking for a fun shared house to join :) Pretty structured during the week, work 9 - 5, generally go to the gym after work and enjoy relaxing on the couch. Weekends are generally filled socializing with friends or love a good day adventure at the beach or park.
I am clean and conscientious with multiple years living in sharehouses under my belt (including in Japan). I love the outdoors and I'm a keen surfer. I'm often found bouldering at the various Northside gyms and love riding my bike around town. A desire for a change in career has me back at uni once again, studying Industrial Design at RMIT.
Hey,I’m Matt, 27 yr old kiwi guy (lived in Melbourne for 4 years). I’m pretty chill and easy going, work full time mon-fri. reliable with bills, respectable blahblahblah. . looking for a place with some cool flat mates long term. Prefer a social place rather than just a place to sleep. Enjoys food, beers, getting out and about and generally being social on the weekends. Cheers ✌️
I'm originally from South Australia and moving to Melbourne with my job working for an environmental non-profit in comms. I've had great experiences living in share houses - in Adelaide, Canberra, Indonesia, Melbourne and London - so looking for like-minded new friends to share with. I'm the sort of housemate that enjoys unwinding with a glass of wine and a chat at the end of the day, but happy also to do my own thing. If I'm home, you'll probably find me in the kitchen cooking, in the living room reading, or in my bedroom playing guitar or looking after plants. I am nature-seeking and a bit of a culture nut so I like to go out exploring on the weekends. Just to get some conversational taboos out the way, you should know I’m a leftie feminist socialist greenie - but I also believe in trying to be less binary, so I'm open to discussions on pretty much any topic and interested in alternative perspectives. I'm also a person of faith and will be looking to join an inclusive church – in case you can recommend me one. Since I'm from interstate I'd also like to find a place that’s cool with me hosting the occasional visitor. If that all sounds good, get in touch.
Hi, there! I am new to Melbourne. I am a Master of International Development student at RMIT. I am an open minded person. I am interested in intercultural context. Photography is my hobby and I love cooking. I am a flexible person and easy to talk with. I am looking for an open minded people to live with and have a great time together. One more thing I love music and dance. It would be nice to rest and having good rest. My quote is "life is too short, be happy and smile"
Hey guys, I’m Erin. I’m a born and bred Melbournian just returned from an 8 month working holiday in the Canadian Rockies and I’m looking for a new home. I’m working full time as a Community Associate for a coworking company called WeWork in the Melbourne CBD. I also freelance on the side as a graphic designer in my spare time. I’m pretty mad about yoga but equally mad about beer (balance) I love festivals, live music, triple j, a good boogie on the weekends, exploring the world and our own incredible city, hiking, mountains, chilled nights in with boardgames, pinot and GoT cuddle puddles on the couch. I’m really looking to move into a share home rather than a share house. Ideally looking to move Northside to be a little closer to my yoga studios but I’m not too fussed - anywhere 10km or less from the CBD really works for me. If I sound like your kinda gal, please get in touch. I’m available to move in from the 25th March onwards.

Hi! My name is Patrick, I'm 25 years old, originally from Germany and I study entrepreneurship in Aarhus (Denmark). I'll be in Melbourne for an exchange semester starting July 2019 and I'm looking for a shared flat to join for these 4-5 months :-) I'm keen to make the most of living in Melbourne, including going out to eat/drink, going to (live music) events and the odd museum/art show visit. I enjoy going out just as much as a quite night in and I'm looking forward to likeminded flatmates to hang out with. I'm easy-going, sporty, occasionally interesting and hopefully a bit funny now and then. I've been living in shared flats for a couple of years now, so I guess you could say I'm house-trained and used to being a respectful and tidy flatmate. Anyway - if you're into sports, especially football (soccer), (electronic) music (no worries I have great headphones) or you're a series geek who loves The Office and GoT, we'll get along especially well :-) Cheers, Patrick
