*** 20/08/18 Thanks for the messages, apologies if I have yet gotten back to you. Had to put my search on halt for a week. Will be in touch! Greetings all! 2 possums recently decided to break into my room via my window and stare at me as I slept. I took that as a sign it was time for a new place. I'm Dee, 32, looking for a place to hang my hat, set my WiFi password and call home. Contractor in film and other mundane activities to earn my bread and butter. Mon-Fri: After work I'm fairly quiet as I'll either be at(tempting to go to) the gym, out with friends or catching up on TV shows (putting the kgs I burned off at the gym back on). Weekends: Usually out and about. I'm extremely easy going and enjoy a good belly laugh. I'm tidy, considerate, generous and respectful. Not a good cook (sorry guys) so you'll see me in the kitchen as often as the Loch Ness monster. Lived in share houses for many years and still very close friends with those I've lived with so I guess that makes me bearable. I'm looking to live with amazing people I can consider friends, who enjoy some banter, a few laughs, partaking in drinks or dinner but can also understand my need for alone time. Just as much as I respect my housemates I'd like to find peeps that are considerate, fun loving and also easy going. Bonus points if you love your movies and binging on Game of Thrones and have a crazy eclectic taste in music! So, if your home sounds like it could benefit from some easygoing vibes, lots of laughter and the threat of possums is not on the cards then please get in touch! PS. Flexible on dates. Preference towards a larger bedroom (bonus points with ensuite) and in a house or townhouse. Not interested in living in a small apartment or with couples unfortunately.
I’m a 23 yo Canadian teacher and freelance trombonist. I’ll get along with anybody who is down for a beer and a good chat! I value a healthy lifestyle, good tunes and an open-minded environment. I have until April before my visa finishes, so ideally I’m looking for a place until then! Cheers x
Hey new flatmates! My name is Dani, I'm a casual primary teacher and incursion educator, working at a health food shop on the side. Will is studying part-time engineering and also working part time. We have been living in Northcote but are both from the country and are looking for somewhere ASAP. My other tag-along is Corby, my 4 y.o. maltese pup! He splits his time between playing outside, cuddles at night, visiting new dog parks, staring you down if you are eating, pretending he's a guard dog (usually at wheelie bins), and making new friends. As for us, we are really chilled, slightly introverted but love a bev and a boogie on occasions. We are always up for a chat but usually love spending our down-time napping, eating, watching 90's movies or socializing. Let us know if you have any room available or seeking to team up! We just want somewhere we can be ourselves and call home :)
Hey! I'm Ety, a brazilian happy soul who’s in Melbourne to study and have fun. I’m living here since a year and I pretend to stay for long. I’m used to share home with anothers, so I appreciate a clean and organize space. Tbh I'm most of the time at work or school but I’m aways keen to hang out, share a dinner and have a chat.
Hi All, I am a single male, working full time as an Online Community Manager. I'm looking for a place where I can socialize with my housemates but also have my own space when needed. I am a clean person who enjoys cooking, sports and a healthy lifestyle (Apart from the odd drink....or 5). I also do freelance work so I need a space big enough that allows me to work from home. I love good music and good times, oh and I'm half Chilean so I speak fluent Spanish, and more than happy to teach the basics. Cheers, Nico
[Move in date is flexible, the date I listed is just the earliest] I'm studying Arts (psych. major) at Melbourne Uni so I'm looking for somewhere within travelling distance of there. I'm neat and don't make a lot of noise, but I'm open-minded and friendly so I'm always up for a chat! Oh and I have a steady income so bills are never a problem for me. When I'm not buried in assignments I like meditation, getting coffee with friends, reading, exercising or watching movies :)
Hi there! I am Sebastian from Chile. I consider myself as very friendly , easy going, tidy and respectful. I love music and concerts, good and bad movies, sharing good conversation , good food and meeting new people. I enjoy partying as well even if I am not big on the drink. In Chile I am well known to be the sober driver , but always here for a laugh! and why not one or two beers if is neccesary. I arrived in Melbourne last may , on a working holiday visa. I`m currently working in hospitality in two restaurants as dishwasher and food runner. Hola Flatmates ! I'm a 20y-o French student, i'm in Melbourne for a year to study English lingusitics ! Move in date: ASAP Long term – A year Happy to go on the lease ABOUT ME I'm a cheerful, curious human: I spend lots of time at uni, I love to read, swim, talk to people and take pictures. I'm into cinema and photography (i've studied art before). I'm really chill and stess-free. I laugh way louder than I should, and have an obsession with cooking vegan pastries. I'd love to have nice LGBT friendly roomies with which I could watch a movie sometime or just chat around a meal ! I like the idea of everyone living quite independently from each other but gathering some time, sharing diner and a good laughter. Get ready to make fun of my French accent and eat some delicious vegan crêpes hehe Adrien
I’m a laid back guy that’s real easy to get along with, and always pulls his weight around the house. Making the transition from Adelaide to Melbourne as I received a job offer there and looking for a place that has good access to the train station. Not too fussed on the type of housing, just can’t be too expensive and I have no problems with pets
Hi there!. I am a final year medical student, currently studying in Malaysia. I would be travelling to Melbourne, on the 28th of October, for a short-stay of about 7 weeks for my Medical Electives at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I am looking to rent a private room for $200pw (bills inclusive, but flexible!). I am neat, love travelling, meeting new people, and also enjoy some me time.
I'm an English pastry chef working full time in Northcote. I have a smoochy tabby called Konrad who'll be moving with me - he spends plenty of time outdoors, or asleep around the house (mostly in my room). I tend to keep it low key during the week thanks to my long hours (I usually start at 6am), and my weekends are Sundays and Mondays when I usually go out for boogies and drinks. I'm looking for a long term home with people who don't mind hanging out & having drinks or dinners from time to time. I can bring a home a steady supply of bread and pastries, plus coffee and cheese. I also have some furniture to bring along!
Hey I am Bianca! I am 26 and working full time as a Psychiatric Nurse as well as studying part time at Melbourne University. I am very reliable, exercise regularly and love to be social; although I am not a party animal and I am respectful of peoples space. I would be interested in starting a new 12 month lease with someone late Oct as my current lease finishes 3 Nov. I have ALL MY OWN FURNITURE (2 queen sized beds, dryer, washing machine, table, couch, TV, bedside tables, printer, desk and kitchen appliances/cutlery). I have 2 pugs, they are super cute and love everyone! I take them out regularly with me when I am out and about so they would never be in the way. I also have a robotic vaccuum so if you were to live with me you wouldn't have to vacuum (what dreams are made of)! Feel free to message me if you are interested in living with me, I will be looking ideally for a 2 bedroom place in Oct at $200/week per person.
Hi there! I am a pharmacist/ new PhD student at Monash university, looking for a private room close to the university. I am a friendly, easy-going and bubbly person but I also occasionally enjoy my own time too. I also prefer clean and tidy environment, and I will be a comfortable share mate to live with as I already have few years of experience living in a share house. Please feel free to message me if you’re looking for a nice share mate! :)

I like traveling, self development, adventures, gym, healthy lifestyle, music and food. I like to have drinks or dinner with housemates once a while. Thumbs up if you also like traveling. Hi guys, just about to relocate from Darwin to Melbourne and looking for somewhere to call home! Very easy going and tidy. I will be working 4-5 days a week and studying part time so will be pretty flat out but in my spare time planning on getting out and exploring the city/country, company alway welcome! Always happy to share a meal and a few drinks but happy to chill out in my own space as well.
She does taekwondo and he is a musician, currently working in the city. We met in Ecuador and are in Australia launching an NGO that engages communities in the Amazon. We are open people who are hoping to find affordable housing and meet great people. If you want to hear more, shoot us a message!
Hey there! I'm from California, and I would describe myself as friendly, clean and easy going. I'm a Master's student at University of Melbourne studying International Relations. I also plan to begin part-time work soon, so I will be pretty busy. I always make time to unwind and have some fun, though. In my free time I enjoy exploring the city, going wine tasting (I have a wine certification with WSET), discovering new restaurants, and catching up with friends. Though I am from the United States, I've been to Melbourne many times and also enjoy going to AFL games, the local museums, and the parks. I am quite social, but always very respectful of other people's space, sleep schedules and privacy. Moving date is also flexible.
I'm moving to Melbourne to work as an Environmental Scientist. My prior accommodation has just fallen through so I ideally need to find a room by this Sunday (19th August). In my free time I usually go hiking or read books.
ME BRIEFLY... I'll love my current Housies forever but our freezer-home has frozen my feet to the floor and I need a warmer home ASAP. I'm open to short-term options but would prefer a forever home. I seek soulful souls for housemates; new friends who live and laugh and love this luxury we call life... --- ME BROADLY... Hi possible-future-housemates, I'm Lane. And I'm looking for a happy, healthy, humble North or Westside home (Carlton, Collingwood, Brunswick, Thornbury, Fitzroy, Footscray, etc.). 🤗🏠 I'm a clean, considerate, creative kind who's also all the friendlies — gender, orientation, environment et. al. I lean left, arty, and non-binararilly. I'm house-proud, house-happy, and open to short-term or long-term options. I'm looking for a warm, welcoming, inclusive, creative, clean, open, and honest home; I co-live well and I respect my own time and space as much I do that of others. I love the usuals — arts, film, photography, music, people — and I'm fond of the ukulele, Rubik's Cube, and learning new things, because, this is how we grow. I'm trying to improve my sign language skills too so if you can help me I'll love you forever. By day I work out of NEST (co-work space) in Thornbury and by night I sometimes do the same! I don't do TV though I love documentaries and film. I'm an environmentally-considerate car owner so parking is a consideration for me, and I have a small social enterprise I'm about to launch so a room with desk-space would be helpful as I sometimes work my night away — if I have to — or even a workspace somewhere else in the house. PERSONAL QUALITIES I'm an open and honest soul and seek the same in those around me. I believe communication is the key because communication is the key, as hard as it can sometimes be... FOOD, SHARING, & FURNITURE I'm an uber-minimalist and I come furniture-free. I'd prefer a furnished bedroom but it's not a deal-breaker. PETS I love animals but don't have any of my own. I steal all my pet pats when I'm out and about and/or running, stopping to pat and meet every four-legged friend I can.
