I'm 21 years old moving to Melbourne from Hobart in late August/ early September (dates are flexible). I will be beginning study in September and looking for some easy going people to live with. I'm clean and tidy and love to have a laugh but am extremely respecting of your space and privacy.
Hello! I'm Emily. I'm almost 29 years old. And, I will be doing post-grad coursework at the University of Melbourne starting in July. I'm so excited to be moving to Melbourne! About me: born in Alabama but lived most of my adult life in California, former U.S. Navy, love to: cook, read, run and hit the weight room, ride and work on motorcycles (yes, you read that correctly), travel, listen to music, see plays/shows, watch movies, enjoy a good cup of coffee or glass of wine, and I'm slightly pilates obessed. I'm responsible, financially stable and independent, health-conscious (non-smoker, mostly vegetarian diet), respectful of privacy, clean and organized 1) LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! CARLTON, FITZROY, NORTH CARLTON, NORTH MELBOURNE, BRUNSWICK EAST, PARKVILLE and COLLINGWOOD. Short walk/public transit commute to the University of Melbourne and near free tram zone. Would love to be in a location close to coffee, a great gym and shopping, you know all the good stuff. 2) I study at home (mainly me staring at a laptop and writing far too much), so I need a private bedroom with enough space for a desk too. And though I like to socialize occassionally, I am looking for a relaxing space with ideally no more than 3 other flatmates total. A private bathroom would be nice, but I'm willing to share a bathroom with 1 other person. I've lived with couples, all girls and mixed guy/girl houses. Overall, I actually think mixed houses are the most fun, but I'm open to living with pretty much anyone who is genuine and respectful of space and privacy. Housing must have internet/internet capability and a laundry washing machine. Big, nice kitchen. Hopefully, some bit of communal garden, patio or outdoor space. Willing to go up to $400 a week for the right spot, but price must match quality. 3) My program is 1.5 years,so if I found the right spot, I'd be happy to stay longer than 6 months. Though I will not have any pets, I love animals! So, if you have a house-trained doggy or kitty, I'm totally fine with it. Would love for my housemates to become good friends. And will someone please teach me how Aussie Rules Football works! I'm dying to see some games and learn about the sport. I ask that any housemates be respectful, responsible and clean up after themselves and, I will hold myself with the same standards. Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider me! :)
Hey! We're two psychology students from Norway who are going to study at University of Melbourne for one semester (from July to November). We've been friends since we started studying at University of Bergen in 2014. Vivian is very tidy and clean, and Anders is also tidy and clean most of the time hehe :) We're both very sociable, caring and love having fun. Of course, we're also serious students. Occasionally... It's kind of difficult to tell you what we like to do, because we're both interested in culture, news, politics, technology and so on. We're just really adaptable, and willing to try new things. We're the kind that can stay home an evening to watch movies, go on a full night party or even a hiking trip. The keyword is "variety"! We're not going to be in Melbourne until the start of July, but would love to move in to the flat as soon as possible. We would love an apartment with two bedrooms for ourselves, but we don't mind sharing flats with other likeminded people either! The most important part is that the flat is at a convenient distance from the university, is clean and tidy and at a convenient price! We're willing to pay around 350$ pw each of us. Feel free to contact us if you want to know more about us! Best regards, Anders and Vivian
Hey I’m Kate! I’m 25 and I’m looking to move back to Melbourne from Tassie. I’m currently working as a flight attendant with QantasLink but am about to join with Virgin based in Melbourne at the end of May. I’m happy to secure a place and start paying rent from the start of May. I’ve previously lived in melbs for 4 years and have been living in share houses since I was 18, so I’d like to think I’m pretty good at it! Up until the end of June I’ll be in training, so will be working 9-5, mon-fri and will be studying quite a lot. After that my schedule varies from month to month, I can sometimes work weekends and can have up to 10 overnights away from home per month (though it’s usually more like 5). I’m super easy going, clean, respectful and love hanging out, relaxing, having the occasional bev, also appreciate time to myself (living a balanced kinda life). Hope to hear from you 😜
Hey y'all. 24. Graduate engineer. I keep my head down during the week, but generally am a chatty fella who loves to get amongst it on weekends. If you're looking to fill a room or want to team-up, shoot me a message! Keen to arrange a meeting asap. If you're one of those that keep their tomato sauce in the fridge, don't bother. Ta.
Hello! About Me: I'm an outgoing, creative, naturally social person who enjoys good conversation about almost anything and love a good "gossip" on current happenings. Left leaning politically with a keen interest in fashion, food and music. I'm the proud owner of two small fur babies (cats) and they have to come with me. They're indoor kinda girls (like mum) and mostly eat and sleep about the house. One is quite inquisitive and social. The other is shy, and may keep you company on the couch if she's not too scared. My social life consists of brunch dates with friends, op-shopping adventures, dance classes, Netflix binges and sharing a stories over a cup of chai tea and some tim tams. I'm straight edge, so that means no drugs, no smoking, no drinking. House Stuff: Looking for a bright, clean and tidy place somewhere in the inner north side of town. upto 250pw (flexible depending on utilities), but would prefer a monthly rental inc. bills. I'm Ideally looking to share with 1 or 2 people with outgoing personalities and individuals who want to create a happy social atmosphere with the occasional shared meals during the week. Similarly neat and house proud folks, as I'm big on cleanliness. Looking for people who have respect for people of all genders, races and sexual preferences. (a misogyny free home being a must!) My Stuff: I have my own bedroom furniture, more clothes than I should, a TV and retro sideboard (which can fit in my room) , but I'm completely flexible with furnishings. Have some home appliances, but anything not needed I can put in storage. Hope you have something suitable, please email me with info and available inspection times, I'm looking for something ASAP and I never flake on plans. Cheers! Chloé x
My name is Savanna and I am 21 years old! I grew up in Seville, in the Yarra Valley. I have a Bachelor of Creative Arts from La Trobe University and I am now working in a vintage boutique! Now that's out of the way! I am an actress who is about to direct their first play! I love TV, food and wine, cheese, knitting, hanging with friends and being all round creative. I'm a very fun, extroverted person who enjoys a good chat with housemates but also respects alone time. I am tidy and will complete weekly chores. I'm having to move because of a break up (yay) so I would love to find somewhere soon :)
I'm Dani :-) I'm 27 and looking for a place for 2 months preferably from Mid May - July. Seeking temporary accommodation whilst I settle back into Melbourne after living interstate to be with family for the past 4 months. I love music, red wine and most of all- I am really keen to meet new people and love a good social occasion. I have no other prerequisites other than a furnished room and internet! **PLEASE NOTE I WILL BE IN MELB TO HOPEFULLY INSPECT AND LOCK IN A PLACE NEXT WEEKEND ON 28-29TH APRIL. I am also flexible with move in dates so please don't hesitate to contact Me!
I'm a Canadian on a work/holiday visa and just finished a work term at a winery during the busy vintage season! I have lots of wine background including formal education in winemaking. I've been in Australia for just over a month and am looking to settle somewhere in Melbourne for a few months to explore and work. I'm outgoing and enjoy being surrounded by good company and on occasion enjoy my alone time. I'm tidy and really like a clean living environment. At this time, I dont have many belongings (I can literally fit everything I own into a 75L packback) so I don't take up much space! What's mine is yours. I enjoy cooking, especially with others. I'm very open to sharing my food with flatmates if you like to cook too! When I'm not working I enjoy a good beer/wine out with friends or a hot tea infront of the TV. I would love to meet potential housemates that want to reach out! I look forward to creating a life in Melbourne and making new friends!
Hi! My name is Hyung. Looking for an accommodation preferably on Sydney rd or within 20 minutes from the CBD, from late June to 20th of November! I am 19, studying Pharmacy at Monash University Parkville. I’m a chill, easy going fella who likes to keep things clean and quite. I am a responsible human being who can clean up after oneself, and I respect other people so it is unlikely that you will get into a fight with me. I will be out 4 days a week and come back in the afternoon, but I do enjoy chatting every now and then. I play baseball and alike every ball player, I'm always up for a bottle of beer(or bottles, either way). In terms of pets, I LOVE CATS, but I also like dogs as well. Please get in touch if you are interested! Cheers
I am a PhD Student at the University of Melbourne starting my course this April. I am 37 years old from the Philippines. I am looking for a place to stay beginning early April. By preference, I would like to live with not more than 3 people. I pretty much keep to myself, but also enjoy the occasional catch up and hanging out with people that I live with.
Hi there! I am a friendly, sociable and respectful hospital doctor. I am excited to join a great house of 2+ like minded young professional single people. I am looking at a high quality place (with high quality ppl naturally 😉). Ideally a great apartment or terrace house with minimum 3 bedrooms, plenty of room and privacy for everyone. The intention is to live in a respectful, sociable and friendly house of (soon to be) friends. I am also keen to get a professional cleaner once a fortnight to minimise the usual issues in share houses. I am a single vibrant young woman who loves languages (Japanese and French), games, walks, tennis and is always up for trying something new and interesting. I like to keep things clean without being crazy (it is our home after all) and enjoy fun get togethers and pub nights. Ideally I would like to be with housemates who enjoy relaxed socialising and getting out and about in Melbourne together. If you are working in a full time professional job and think we might get on feel free to drop me a line. Looking forward to meeting some of you in the near future 😁

Hi! I'm Fairuza and I'm currently completing my Masters in International Relations at RMIT University. I've lived in Melbourne for 3 years now, and am currently renting an apartment in South Yarra with my cousin. She's moving overseas though, so I'm on the lookout for a fun and friendly home to move into! Dancing and dessert are my two greatest passions, so if you want to bond over music or food, I'll be your girl! As a housemate, I tend to be fairly quiet as I prefer to have my time and space in my room particularly to study, or to recharge while watching my favourite tv shows. I'm also quite neat and will always clean up after myself. I'm very easy going and you'll likely find me a very compatible housemate whether you're looking for a new friend or someone who keeps to themselves. I'm a bit flexible with my move in dates and am happy to move in for anything from 6months to over a year depending on how our initial meet and greet goes! Here's hoping for a new adventure!
I'm a recent math masters graduate, transitioning into the professional world. Looking to move into a low-key relaxed environment, where the flatmates can socialize together but without constant crazy partying or the like. Hobbies include reading, tabletop and video games, and staying fit, and I'm attempting to upgrade my cooking skills as well.
I moved to Melbourne to study English, I know Spanish and a little of ASL, I also want to learn AUSLAN. I am a software developer. I have my bicycle. I love hiking and play ultimate. I'm not a party man. I'm very patient and responsible. I'm looking for a place to stay the next months. I want to find a peaceful place with friendly people.
I'm 27 years old from Iran and have been living in Melbourne for the last 3 years. I work full time as an architect as well as tutoring at unimelb. Having been living in shared houses for 6 years, consider myself a house trained, clean and the "good cook of the house". I do Enjoy cooking, reading, watching movies, jugging and travelling. Being considerate of each other's privacy I'd like to live in a communal house. I prefer long terms and moving date of ASAP, but surely in negotiable manners. looking forwards. Best Mohammad
I'm from Brisbane and moving to Melbourne in May I enjoy a chat but also prefer my own time. I'm respectful of common areas, so I will clean and tidy after myself. I work full time during the week and enjoy a healthy active lifestyle on weekends.
Hi! I'm Joanna, and I moved to Melbourne all the way from faraway Poland 🙂 I'm a masters student at Melbourne Uni, doing Production Design (that means I spend a lot of my time on campus designing films!). I lived and studied in the UK before (sharing houses — I'm fully house trained!), until I moved to Melbourne this year. I am currently looking to move closer to my campus in Southbank. I'm quite busy on a daily basis, but Sunday trips to Queen Victoria Market are one of my favorite things 😛 I would love to find a place that would be my Melbourne home :)
