Hey, Im Etyene (you can call me Ety) a brazilian soul living in Melbourne for the last 2y who is currently working in the city as a part time barista and studying to be a nurse. Very enthusiastic, chill, clean and organised gal.
Hi I am working as a solution Architect (IT consultant), Moved to Melbourne in May. So far I have traveled 35 countries. I have shared apartments in UK, Russia, Belgium, Dominican Republic so on and so forth. I can gel with any person who is cooperative and understanding. My hobbies keep on changing with time. I was keen doing physics projects as kid , writing poems, tech Articles at uni, photography during my travels and now reading about politics, culture and technology. Perfect evening for nice food along with red wine and some random series/movie :) I am fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi and little bit of Spanish and Russian. I would love learn Spanish and Chinese if there an opportunity. I enjoy movies and cooking. I am chilled out flexible, congenial, ambitious and grounded. I drink occasionally and a non veterinarian, I do parties on weekend and respect others privacy/peace on weekdays. My only concern is keeping the common place clean including washroom and respecting each other sleeping hours. I don't discriminate and I am open to share along with any gender , color , nationality , sexuality etc. I need a private room for myself , if its furnished , it will be great. I am looking for a place , which is close to transport and i should be able to reach Collins St or St Kilda with in 30 to 40 mins max.
Hi, I am a 32 yo communicative, open-minded German biologist. I studied neuroscience and am currently doing my postdoc at Melbourne Uni. I like to meet new people, be outdoors, and do sports :) Of course, I love to travel and I'm down to basically every activity, like hiking, skiing, snowboarding, kite surfing, skydiving, camping, music festivals, hiking, scuba diving, and so on. I enjoy a comfy evening with food and tea or wine as much as a night out at a pub. I am social, communicative, like to discuss diverse topics from global warming to past or current political issues or talk about any sort of philosophical question. I am very easy going, always up for jokes, LGBTQ friendly, and love when housemates become friends. Ideally, I am looking for a house with a garden and even more ideal would be the presence of a dog or cat or the opportunity to adopt an old rescue cat :) (not a must though.... just dreaming ;) ). While I do like to chat after work (where I usually spent more time than from 9 to 5, often followed by the gym), I will of course accept your privacy and also need my alone time sometimes. If you have any question, feel free to message me! Looking forward to meeting you! Cheers, Carina
I'm an international BSc student at unimelb into my 2nd year 1st sem and i'm alot in sports and gym and health. Also, food is one of the dearest things in my life haha. Im quite chill and friendly with everyone and respect them and expect them to respect me aswell. I dont make excessive noise or ruin other people peace in any way such as calling loads of people over. My only requirement in roommates is that they clean up after themselves and respect the presence of other roommates! :D
I'm a student from Vietnam doing Masters of Architecture at Unimelb. I'm a non-smoker, organised, tidy, friendly happy to socialise and hang out with flatmates but also respectful of everyone's privacy. I'm looking for a quiet place starting Feb 2020 with easy-going flatmates. I spend a lot of time at design school at uni. If I have free time, I like catching up tv series, baking, going to galleries and bookstores.
I’m Alex, 24 yrs old and I’ve recently moved down from Wollongong. I’m a full time electrician and studying an online course, kept fairly busy during the week and on weekends. I like keeping active, reading, gym and love to play any kind of ball sport at the local park. I’m a very clean individual, I like to do my bit for the house and keep the place in a clean and tidy state. I also volunteer for a charity twice a week. I'm also keen to team up!
Hi! I'm currently a graduate student at UoM as well as an Early Years teacher. Originally from NZ, still pretty new to living in Melbourne/Australia as I've previously been working and living in Asia. Looking for a clean, insect-free place for next year. I can be sociable especially once I get to know you, but really like my own space and alone time as well (where I read, chill and binge watch crime shows). I believe in being non judgemental and respectful of difference so I get along with a variety of people. Not a smoker (of any kind) or party person.
Hey! I'm Ruarai (pronounced like Rory, but really, however you like). I'd like to think I have an easy, fun personality but am still tidy and responsible. This year I'll be continuing study at the University of Melbourne, hoping to complete a sci degree in computational biology. Currently I'm working full-time and will be moving into part-time once the semester begins. Meaning I'll have both money saved up and a continued income, so you won't have to worry about me not being able to pay my way. Whilst I don't plan on staying inside all day everyday, I'm looking for a place that is both sociable and comfortable. A typical day would probably see me working, at uni, or studying. Always happy for a chat.
I'm an academic who works in Indigenous Studies, I come without animals or a partner, I travel a lot for work and am pretty busy with that (but its wonderful as are the people I get to work for and with), I live a pretty peaceful life at home, eat fish/veggies, I cook simply and well, love growing plants, don't like partying any more, but do love company, meeting new people, chats over wine. I'm independent, need sunshine exercise meditation great food lovely friends and ridiculousness to keep an even keel ... I about to start travelling regularly to Melbourne for at least the next three months, hopefully longer - I'm considering a more permanent move and I'd prefer to have a home than a hotel room. hoping for a cheery down to earth house mate in a sunny house close-ish to the uni
