Hello I'm Helen, and I am looking to rent a private room in Sydney with my ideal place to be near the CBD, preferably about 1 hour bus ride.

I am a British Born Chinese (my mother is from Hong Kong - so I can also speak conversational Cantonese).

Initially, I am looking to stay for 6 months, but maybe potentially longer as an Australian employer is willing to sponsor me (I work in Aged Care recruitment).

My budget at the moment is currently up to $280 per week to include bills and internet.

Pre-requisite: Private bedroom fully furnished with a maximum of 2-3 other people living in the property.
Ideally: Own bathroom/Ensuite (can pay extra for this, however I am flexible to share a bathroom as long as it's with one other female.

I am generally reserved (like most Chinese people!), however I am also really friendly and kind with a good sense of humour and I tend to be sarcastic when I need to. 😅
I have previously lived in Sydney on my first Working Holiday Visa back in 2024 and I am returning to Australia after living and working in Hong Kong for over a year.
