Hello I'm Helen, and I am looking to rent a private room in Sydney with my ideal place to be near the CBD, preferably about 1 hour bus ride.
*Looking to stay as soon as I land and arrive in Sydney on 29th May 2026*

I am a British Born Chinese (my mother is from Hong Kong - so I can also speak conversational Cantonese).

Initially, I am looking to stay for 3 months on a month to month lease (due to the visa), but maybe potentially longer as an Australian employer is willing to sponsor me (I work in Aged Care recruitment).

My budget at the moment is currently up to $280 per week to include bills and internet.

Pre-requisite: Private bedroom fully furnished with a maximum of 2-3 other people living in the property.
Ideally: month to month lease, own bathroom/ensuite (can pay extra for this), however I am flexible to share a bathroom as long as it's with one other female.

I am generally reserved (like most Chinese people!), however I am also really friendly and kind with a good sense of humour and I tend to be sarcastic when I need to. 😅
You might have seen immediately on here before as I have previously lived in Sydney on my first Working Holiday Visa back in 2024.
I am returning to Australia after living and working in Hong Kong for over a year.
