Hey! I’m Mel — 36, moving back to Newcastle to be closer to family after years of chasing mountain seasons. For the past 7 years I’ve been running ski lodges in Perisher and guiding canyoning trips in the Blue Mountains, with a few adventures in Japan and Canada thrown in for good measure.

I love cooking (always happy to share a meal!) and have plenty of witchy hobbies — from brewing kombucha to making vegan kimchi and foraging for edible plants. If that sounds like your vibe, we’ll probably get along great.

I’ll be moving with my 12-year-old cattle dog, Donnie — he’s a sweetheart, young at heart but slow on the legs, so a ground floor room would be perfect for us. With a proper introduction he gets along with most other pets.
