Hey, I'm Immy. Moving to Newcastle for a new job as an environmental consultant. I'll be working full-time so pretty busy through the week but like to enjoy a bevie or two on the weekends. Never been to Newcastle before so would appreciate some local tips!
I am new to Newcastle (lived in Sydney and then Perth for the past 5 years), working full-time as a social worker. I would say I'm easy going and mature but also love to have a laugh. Have lived in several share houses and am looking to live with other working people that are respectful, laid back and fun! Looking for a relaxed house that has a good balance of being social and also doing your own thing. I'm after something long-term so put 6 months up as a minimum
I'm 21 years old, work full time mon-fri and enjoy getting out on the weekend. I'm not a big partier and I respect everyones privacy, not quite at neat freak level but I clean up after myself and contribute to household chores/cleaning duties. I'm quite keen at the idea of doing a team up with 1 or 2 other people but only if your serious about a 12 month lease or longer. Available to move out now.
I have just moved back from Melbourne to be closer to my family and friends. I’m currently staying with my brother in North Lambton. I have secured full-time work in Maryville which started on the 18th of June. In my spare time I like to get out and about - I love the outdoors. I’m a fit and healthy professional who gyms regularly. I also enjoy footy as well as tennis, surfing and snowboarding.
Hi Everyone, I've just recently moved back to Australia after spending 3 miserable winters in Wellington, NZ; I'm really happy to be back if you can't tell. This is my first time on here so I'm not to sure what's important info to potential housemates but here goes. Things that make me a good housemate: 1/ I like the smell of exit mould (citrus flavour) so the bathroom will stay mostly clean. 2/ My favourite bands at the moment all play really soft, chill stuff so I'm probably never going to annoy you with loud music. 3/ I can't cook very well at all and the unknowns of the kitchen intimidate me so I usually eat basic easy to clean things. 4/ Working full time hours on casual rates so rent will be on time and in full every time. 5/ I think I'm a likable guy and I'm still friends with all my previous housemates (bar one and it's a long story) so I think that's a big tick in the good housemate column. I've run out of ideas so I'll leave it at that.
Originally from Poland but Ive been moving around the world my whole life (perks of having indecisive parents), i love animals, active leisure - mainly long distance runs, bike riding and yoga, but I also enjoy a quiet night in or a party once in a while. I love cooking so if you're a foodie like myself we might get along ;) Overall Im friendly, reliable, respectful of others space and an easy going person, I like to keep my environment tidy too :)
Currently a 2nd-year Speech student at the university who is starting placement and spends half her time working down in Sydney (so I'm looking to live walking distance to the train stations i.e. Broadmeadow, Hamilton, Newcastle, or NeW Space campus) Mostly, I'll be busy-- in school, working on assignments, at the clinic, or in Sydney. That said, I'm pretty sociable and can hold a good conversation. But I know to give and respect personal space and time. I'd say I'm pretty neat, have a little OCD--so I'll keep your place pretty clean, bathroom and kitchen especially. If you're looking for a quiet/busy and neat housemate to live with, I'm your person! Estimate period of stay: 4.5 months
I am moving from Armidale NSW ad i just got a new job in Merewether as a Care Service Employee. I am 24 years old, outgoing, friendly and a very flexible person. I’m looking for a place to move in close to Merewether.
I keep to myself, super clean and always happy to run to the shop and grab some more milk and do an extra dish or two at washing up time I have a great rental history and come with a few extra bits of furniture and a couple of plants to help freshen the place up I work in the hospitality industry to support myself and my 6 year old cat, Martin. He is incredibly shy but once he warms up to you he is unbelievably affectionate! Looking to move out of my current living situation in Waratah West and hopefully somewhere closer to town. I don’t own a car, so the parking is all yours! I don’t mind a beer or a coffee, we can meet over either if that helps! I don’t throw parties and have mastered the art of coming home late and being quiet enough not to wake anyone, whether its from work or the pub. thanks for listening to my ted talk.
My partner Tom and I are looking to move around the Newcastle area. We are both tidy, considerate and easy-going. We are active people who like the beach and hiking. We would prefer a quieter place during the week but don’t mind social drinks now and again or on the weekends.
