Hey guys, I'll be looking for a place near Stockton from around the 9th of February. I'm a pretty chilled guy who likes to socialise but will also give people their space. I'm a shift worker so I will keep some weird hours and may need to sleep through the day sometimes. I'm a bit flexible on my budget, but would prefer less (obviously). I've lived in Queensland up until now, so I'll be keen to meet some new people. If you want to know more about me or have a room you think might be suitable, hit me up.
Hi there, I am a 3rd year Medical student at UON, who likes motorbike riding, skateboarding, and reading in my downtime. I’m the kind of housemate who will take your clothes off the line if it starts raining, and will share a beer when I can see you’ve had a rough day. I enjoy socialising, and and am pretty friendly all round :) I work at the hospital and have a steady income. The motorbike makes off-street parking is pretty important in my search for a home. Ideally sharing with 1-3 other people would suit me well, and I’m open to other locations– but preferably am looking for somewhere nice and neat in the downtown/Merewether/Hamilton greater area. If you have a room and think we'd get along, shoot me a message and we can meet or talk meet in person! Cheers, Alex
I am a young professional, a non-smoker and a clean individual who enjoys socialising but also enjoys some privacy. When I am not working, i enjoying going for my dance classes, the beach and karaoke :)
Hey, my name’s Rach and I’m looking for a friendly household to move into with my best mate Lupin. Lupin is a four year old chocolate Labrador who’s really well behaved, yet still a puppy at heart. He has a sassy side-eye that I can cop sometimes, otherwise he’s an absolute delight. I’m studying teaching full-time at UoN and I work part-time. I love to cook, I’m pretty active, I’m clean and tidy and I definitely do my fair share of cleaning in the house. I’m looking to move into a house that’s pretty relaxed with housemates that are friendly, love dogs and don’t mind a bevvie and a chat as well as having their own space!
Hi there! My name is Charlie. I am a 21 year old teaching student working part time in hospitality. My best friend Josie (21) is a communications student who also works part time. We are best friends originally from the country looking for a house to rent late January/early Feb*** We are quite reserved people, both in relationships, who really enjoy music, film and art. Looking for a place around the Islington/Maryville/Carrington area as I primarily ride my bike and want somewhere close to uni, work and the shops! ***I am currently living in Carrington, and need to reapply for my house. We are looking for someone to apply with us ASAP - but also to apply for other houses with us as back up. (Also interested in team ups, or finding the right person to move in with hehe)
Own my own business and study. Work 6 days per week, long hours. Am very clean, respectful of those around me, very friendly and always up for a chat however, would not be home often other then to shower, have dinner and be on my laptop/sleep.
Clean and polite professional working full-time. I work away from time to time, enjoy to cook and am pretty easy going. I live an active lifestyle, play sport during winter and enjoy cooking and a social beer.
I'm a 22 year old male currently living in Sydney's North Shore, I'm a bartender/barista at a fine dining restaurant and I'll be looking to do the same up in Newcastle. I study Industrial Design in Newcastle and want to move up to complete my final year. In my spare time I'm usually trying to do something creative, but when I'm not I like to read, go out for coffee or drinks, see live music or just chill out at the beach. I'm looking for a decent house and flatmates with a nice vibe and lifestyle.

Hey, I'm Rachel and I have been renting in shared houses for almost 2 years now. I'm a full time Nursing Student and I also work a casual job at a gym. I enjoy doing things like being active outdoors and exploring, going to the gym, cooking, staying inside and relaxing and going out for drinks/food. I'm tidy, respectful of others and enjoy socialising but also like my me-time. I would like to share a place with people I can become good friends with and not just brush shoulders with in the hallway. I'm looking for a maximum of 3 other like-minded roommates that would be keen to find a place with me or kindly offer me a room in their humble abode. :)
I’m easy to get along with and to talk to, I’ll be studying at uon in a degree of communications. I’ll also be working casually on top of my study. I’d love to live with a welcoming group of people who are both social and like to chill on their own. I love to cook (I’ll be nice and share😉) , write and read.
I am clean and quiet. Looking for a place where it isn’t a party house. I am also looking for a place that is furnished (mainly just need a bed) as I am not from here and have no belongings besides my clothes.
Hey, I'm Abby and I'm 29. I work full time as a Social Worker and am passionate about the work that I do. I am easy going and considerate of others. I am looking for a share house that is social but not a party house. I have a puppy, Scout, so I would need to find somewhere suitable for her. It is important to me that the people I live with love animals so that I know she will be safe and looked after. I am pretty active but also like to stay in and watch Netflix. I love to travel, meet new people and eat good food.
Super easy going gal who loves to have a laugh and share memes. I work full time through the day and teach pole dancing a few nights a week. Respectful of people’s space and love to have a wine + cheese over a movie some night :)
Hey there. My partner, Connor, and I are looking for a place to rent for the next few months! I’ve just moved here from the US and am currently working retail and hospitality. I enjoy going to the beach and yoga. Connor is local, studies engineering and also works 2 hospitality jobs. We’ve both lived out of home before and are clean, tidy, and respectful of others’ space. We are also down for family dinners and the odd beer. Shoot us a message if you want to know more!
Hi There, I am Olivia, I'm 19 years old and am currently studying Radiation Therapy at UON. I also work casually at Westfield. I am a sociable and tidy person who also enjoys having a casual drink, every so often. I also enjoy my downtime and some quiet, especially when the intense study/exam period approaches. I am eager to live in house that feels like a home and not just a share house/apartment.
I recently graduated from UoN with a master of teaching. I'm part of a small community circus and love the outdoors. I'm a clean and tidy housemate. I tend to go with the flow so if you're a social butterfly or prefer to be on your own rest assure I can fit into either vibe.
Hey :) we are a couple that is currently living in a share house with 2 other housemates and wish to continue the vibe. We are exploring the option of finding a new rental to create a new home or possibly extend the lease we are on now. We have 2 fur babies that are super independent and only require pats here and there. We also have a developed herb/veggie potted garden so it comes with us wherever we go. Kana is a full time chef and I am a full time support worker in the community sector whilst completing a bachelor degree. We are pretty busy during the weeks and often spend our days off exploring or relaxing locally. We have everything for a share house- fridge, furniture and the good vibes that go with it. We are looking for preferable 1 or 2 other housemates to either start up a new share house or to take over the rooms in our current rental if we renew the lease. Send us a message to discuss options :) Kana and Sen xx
Hello! I'm a 23yo University Student looking for a room before the semester starts. I've recently returned from living overseas and I’m finally going to try and complete my last two years of Law. I'm a friendly, outgoing, clean and tidy girl who occasionally enjoys a few beers, beach trips and cafe hunts. I'm understanding and respectful of one's space... especially in the mornings. I love to read trashy romance books and bulk watch Tv shows, well when uni loosens its tight grip. If you want to know more, or have any questions shoot me a message. Cheers
Hi, I'm an easy going person. i work full time as a surveyor and i do work away from home very often. I'm just after a new place closer into town and the beaches as i live a very active and social lifestyle. I'm looking for an easy going, free flowing and relaxed household to move into. I'm currently living in another share house in Wallsend and just looking for a change of scenery and to get to know some new faces. Shoot me a message if you have anything available, or if you would like to chat about anything further or if you'd like to get a vibe of the type of person I am. cheers Michael
Hi, I'm Biddy, I'm 20 years old and studying at TAFE. I don't throw parties, but love musical theatre and dancing. I'm a non-alcoholic and a non-smoker, but love watching netflix and I'm rather easy going. I'm looking for accepting and sociable housemates who are fine with visitors (mainly my girlfriend). Qualities that are important to me are honesty, tidiness, respectfulness, co-operation and open-mindedness. I'm always up for a good chat and completely cool with pets. I prefer to cook my own meals, however I am always up for helping out with a communal meal. I am allergic to seafood. I have some of my own bedroom furniture, and I do love a good herb garden.
I'm a 5th year medical student based at John Hunter Hospital in 2019. Originally from Sydney. Very active, love the beach, food, exercise, yoga and enjoy a few drinks every now and then. Looking to share a house with a positive vibe and friendly people :)
Hi everyone, Not-too-couply couple who have just relocated from Darwin in a lumbering orange bus to start full time jobs in newy in the health industry. Looking for a place to put up our weary feet and call home. Easy going and relaxed, but tidy and enjoy having projects on the go such as improving the bus, postie bike, veggie garden, and pickling. Looking for a chilled friendly house with one or more flat mates to hang with, pets a bonus! Maddy and Rob
We're a couple looking for a share house to move into. I'm Gabrielle, I'm 20 and am studying law and arts full time at Newcastle uni as well as working part time. My boyfriend Michael is a qualified mechanic and is working full time. We have both lived in share houses before and are both clean and tidy, easy going, happy to socialise but also respectful of everyone's personal space.
Neat, respectful and easy going. Happy to keep to myself and/or be social with others. I enjoy cooking and don’t mind doing the dishes! I am relatively quiet and enjoy my own company, so there’s no risk of any wild parties or anything of the sort happening. I do however like to chat to people and love having good people that I get along with around me if having me be a bit more of a social butterfly is preferred. I’m pretty chilled either way :) I do smoke, but no more than maybe five or less in any one day and would always do so outside in a well ventilated area, I also have a good habit of disposing of cigarette butts appropriately and promptly once finished. I am currently, and have been for the last seven years, working as an AIN, and often am working on a rotating roster, so shift work is inevitable. I am happy to move out of where I am now and into a new place ASAP! :) look forward to hopefully meeting nice people and living in a comfortable, relaxed and cosy feeling home Kindest regards, B.
Chilled out. Well travelled and educated. Considerate of others and often up for a laugh/chat. Like to be friendly at home but not obligated hang out. Tidy- prefer not to live with clutter. Love to live with house-proud individuals who value nature, conservation and expanding their horizons!
I’m from the Byron Bay area, and am looking to move to Newcastle, as I am about to start my second degree, studying medicine. Currently, I work in marketing for a beekeeping company. I love getting outdoors to bushwalk, surf or rock climb on my days off, though also thoroughly enjoy just cosying-up at home with a good book, gardening, cooking, crafting (avid knitter), or just hanging out. I am looking for a (reasonably) quiet, clean home, with likeminded housemates who are respectful, open-minded, considerate and caring (like me!), and are up for a chat, and an occasional shared meal (and who also appreciate space and solo time).
Hi I am Stephanie. I am fun, friendly and responsible person. I have moved out of home due to unreasonable living conditions. I will be studying at the tafe, and I am currently looking for work.
I’m a positive, self contained person who generally loves life. I work full time in Newcastle and keep myself pretty busy. I respect other people’s space but enjoy having a chat with housemates or watching some tv together on occasion whether it’s something high brow like Westworld or Outlander or some trashy reality show but I’m not a couch potato or tv hog. I enjoy cooking and gardening but I don’t leave a mess for others to deal with. I like to live in a clean and tidy home but it also needs to feel lived in. I am pretty active and love the beach and bush walks and I really enjoy pub trivia.
Full time working Landscape Architect. Easy going and enjoy spending time with others as well as alone. Respect other's space and help where I can. Like to think I am neat and tidy, enjoy cooking and conversation. Ideally looking to move in with people who are easy going and interested in conversation here and there.
Colin and I are both super friendly people. We are vegan so we wont eat all of your food too! We both work full time at the kent hotel in hamilton. We have 3 furry babies. A dog Kyza and two cats peaches and snowball. Finding somewhere that accepts pets is hard so we are just looking for somewhere for a short amount of time until we find our new home.
Jana (21) super friendly and outgoing, love going to gigs and jamming out. Currently a dog trainer in training as I’m completing my psychology in dog behaviour and training. I’ve lived in different sharehouses for the past few years, so I’m quite experienced with share house culture and don’t mind to share the chores. Looking for a share house where I can make a few friends.
Hello, I'm originally from the lower blue mountains. I moved to Newcastle to study environmental science. I love all things environment, in particular plants, fungi, lichen and moss. Apart from that I like to ferment things so I come with a pet Scoble lol. I'd love to find a peaceful place that feels like home. Good vibes, good people and lots of smiles. I work as a bush regenerator for trees in newcastle and also in hospitality at a function centre aswell as studying so I'm generally pretty buisy but would also love to find flat mates I could call family. I'm looking for a place with a cute backyard where I can sip tea in the mornings.
