Hi everyone!

I’m Tanuj, a 25-year-old male who has just relocated to Sydney to start a full-time Software Engineer role in Darlinghurst. I previously lived in Melbourne for several years, so I’m familiar with shared living and always make an effort to be a respectful and considerate housemate.

I’m currently looking for:

* A room with a private ensuite (preferred), or
* A studio, or
* A well-maintained room in a friendly share house.

My preferred locations are Darlinghurst and nearby suburbs with an easy commute to work. I’m also open to other areas with good public transport connections.

Budget: Around $350-$450 per week, depending on the room, location and what’s included. Ideally, I’d like bills to be included, but I’m flexible for the right place.

A little about me:

* Full-time Software Engineer based in Darlinghurst.
* I work from home at least two days a week, so I’m ideally looking for a home with a peaceful and respectful environment during the day.
* I occasionally work part-time on weekends.
* Clean, tidy and respectful of shared spaces.
* Easy-going, friendly and always happy to have a chat, while also respecting everyone’s privacy.
* Non-smoker.
* In my spare time I enjoy FPS games, exploring new cafés, playing sports, going to the gym and checking out new places around Sydney.

I’m looking for a place with a relaxed, respectful and reasonably quiet atmosphere. I completely understand that normal day-to-day living comes with some noise, but as I work from home a couple of days each week, I’d prefer a household that’s generally peaceful, especially during working hours. If possible, I’d also prefer a home without regular night-shift schedules, as they can sometimes make it harder for everyone to maintain a consistent routine.
