Hiiiiiiiiiiiii. I'm Mu, like the Greek letter. You can also call me O because that's closer to what is on my birth certificate. I graduated from USyd in 2018 with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Honours / Arts (Music) double degree, which has left me feeling ready to retire already but am currently working as a software engineer at Dolby in North Sydney (dw, I abhor Elon Musk and there isn't a single tech overlord I idolise whatsoever). Really just looking for somewhere queer-friendly (there are only two gender options on flatmates unforch), a bit closer to the city to where I currently am (Hill District D:) and ideally meet some lovely new people. Although I haven't been as active lately, I've been producing music for 10+ years and I also dabble in film-making. Experimenting in all artforms has always been deeply fulfilling for me, even though I am by no means conventionally talented, and I find casual collaboration can be a really nice way of socialising and getting to know people! Living in a sharehouse of artistically inclined people would be a dream because when minds combine is really when the magic happens, I think. Anyway, I'm a very tidy and quiet person and quite shy initially but it doesn't take too long for me to become comfortable talking about the absurdities of existence and just about anything and everything, as I'm interested in about 98% of things. I should also note that I am a vehemently ~~progressive~~, passionate about Indigenous issues, LGBTQIA+ and women's rights and deeply concerned about climate change. I would like to become much more involved in organising and activism with respect to these issues and am hoping to live through the proletarian revolution. Peace x
Hi! We are Noah and Anna. We are an American-Italian couple, here in Sydney to study and work. We are in our late 20s/early 30s. When we are at home, we enjoy cooking and watching movies during the week and in the weekend, if we are not working or studying, we like to go out to party or explore the surrounding areas. We both love outdoors, hiking and travelling. Anna likes tanning on the beach with a good book, dancing, yoga and wine. Noah prefers exercising, reading and beer. We are easygoing, clean and tidy.
I am a chef so can cook, I am quiet, I am clean and am I social but also like relaxing at home.
Heya, I'm Chloe! I'm seeking private, double room in the Stanmore/Marrickville area to move into before the 7th of October. I'm a qualified chef who has recently started work at sixpenny in Stanmore. Obviously the hours are a bit unsociable, so prospective housemates would have to be ok with me coming home late regularly. That said, I am quiet and considerate. I have lived in many sharehouses over the past 8 years so I know the deal! I am a friendly, easy-going, relatively quiet, slightly OCD human looking for easy-going, quiet, clean/tidy, homely environment. I'm into food, travel and sustainability. I enjoy podcasts, reading, music and red wine. Ideally bills and internet included, furnished, on-street parking and no cats (allergies).
I've lived in sharehouses and shared apartments most of my adult life so I'm not new to this. I'm independent but friendly. I love sitting down and having good chat but I also don't need people to be around me 24/7 and often like spending time alone. I'm a film school graduate, so I love movies -- the cinema is my happy place. I'm also often writing and working on my own projects in my spare time. Please don't message me about rooms outside of my preferences. Would love a team up.
Clean, Tidy and Respectful. I work as a chef. Spend most of my time cooking, rock climbing, at my partners house, or relaxing out to video games. I do enjoy my privacy, but also enjoy a good wine and food night! Looking for a home. Not a party house.
My lease is finished on October 25th, so looking to move in around that date. I’m happy to sign a 6 or 12 month lease, as I want to avoid moving throughout the school year as much as possible. I’m currently studying a bachelor of fine art at National Art School in Darlinghurst. This is 4 full days a week, and a half day, so I’m looking for a place close to a train station that is no more than an hour away from the city. I am looking for a private room. A little bit about me: I love my music - Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Bowie, Joy Division just to name a few. Always down to learning about new music, and going to gigs/concerts. I’m a photographer and I do a bit of drawing and painting every now and then. Would love a room with natural light for my drawing. I do have a dog named Levi. He has been at my parents since the start of the year as I wasn’t able to find places that allowed him. Would love if he was able to be in Sydney, and that I’m able to move into a place that welcomes him and that he feels comfortable with my new flatmates. He is the most loving dog, that is house trained, and since my school year is almost over, i’ll be home more to help him adjust quicker. That said, I’m fine with moving into places that don’t allow pets as he is loved and safe at my parents.
