Hello all!

Myself (39) and my dog Maple (10) are moving back to Newcastle.
Newcastle is my home town and after 10 years of living if different places and travelling, I feel the call to come home.
For the past 6 years I've been living on the Gold Coast. I work full time in the environmental industry, specifically in water.

I love the outdoors. My free time is usually spent hiking, camping or planning the next adventure with friends.
I am house proud. I live in a clean and organised home filled with house plants and good vibes.
My home is my sanctuary and that is the space snd energy that I like to create.

I love cooking, sharing a meal, and fostering friendships with the people I live with.
I consider myself to be a warm and friendly personality, and a good communicator.

I'm an active person and start my days early and enjoy early nights with my book or an episode of the next best series.
In saying that, I'm partial to a red wine, some music and great conversations around the dinner table.

My 10 year old dog Maple is my plus one.
She is the sweetest, most gentle older lass, and the light in my life.
She is a short haired staffy mixed bag of goodness.
Maple is friendly with other animals and has lived with dogs and cats in the past.
She isn't too active these days and just enjoys hanging out with whoever she can smooch on up to.
Maple is mostly an inside dog, however she likes lazing for hours in the sunshine on the grass. An enclosed backyard or courtyard area is a must.

I have a heap of friends and family in Newcastle that I'm looking forward to being close to again.
I'm currently on the hunt for work in the Newcastle area and hoping to make the move around early April.

The ideal place would be living with 1-2 people, male or female, and around my age. But I'm open to other options if things feel aligned.

I have furniture for my bedroom, office space, and everything else will be sold or put into storage, unless a team up is an option.
