Hey! I'm 28 years old and originally from Melbourne. I've been living in Newy for a little over a year now and love it! I have a lot of creative interests and hobbies, but generally speaking op-shopping, collecting/selling vintage clothes, surfing, listening to good tunes and thinking about/getting tattoos that I can't afford takes up most of my spare time. I work part-time and also sell vintage clothes online and at markets. I like to think that I am a creative, friendly and open minded person and I am looking to live with like minded individuals. Although I no longer work in the industry, I am a qualified chef by trade and these days I enjoy cooking for the household and friends and am no stranger to cleaning either :) Ideally I'd like a room in an inclusive household that I can call home, with people that I can call friends. I'd like to live with people that are community minded, open, friendly, easy going and perhaps live and think outside the box a little. My lease is ending soon so I am after a new place, but I am ready to lock something in as soon possible or at least line it up for down the track, whatever suits. If you think I sound like a good fit, or are thinking of trying to start a new share house send me a message, hope to hear from you, Sam :)
Hola! We are Lani and Georgia and we are looking for a 3rd roomie to join us in the house hunt in/near Newcastle CBD. Lani is a 25 year old digital account executive who has just landed an awesome role in Newcastle. She's hilarious and warm and one of the best people you'll probably ever meet. She can also cook and is a brainiac so hit her up for any academic advice. Lani's family is on the Central Coast and she is a social butterfly so would be in and out of the house visiting family, friends and playing netball. My name is Georgia and I am 22 years old and Communications Manager who works at an agency in the CBD. I'm pretty active with gym, beach and friends so don't tend to linger around at home much. My boyfriend would stay at the house potentially once a week but I would be at his house once or twice a week so you'd be lucky to catch me. Both of us enjoy a glass of wine/food/good times with friends but also appreciate space and time to ourselves. We met at uni and have been pals ever since! Looking to find a place around July. Ideally we would like a roomie aged 21 - 28 who is independent, happy and clean. Get in touch if you'd like to be our roomie!
I am respectful, private, friendly and clean. I own a parrot I enjoy sports, health and well-being and being social I am looking for more work and to resume my studies after relocating from a overcrowded situation
Active, happy, down to earth and drama free. Relocating to Newcastle from Sydney for work, and looking for some equally easy going people to live with. Defnately not the partying type, but more than happy to be social and entertain, but not looking to bring the party home or live in a party house ☺️
Hi!! My friend and I are looking for a third person to live with us! I am moving back to Newcastle and Eliza has lived in Newcastle her entire life. We have been approved for a house in Hamilton (street back from Beaumont at) and are signing the lease on the 25th of May so will be able to move in after that! We are both very easy going girls. Both of us live busy lives - I work full time as an environmental scientist and Eliza works part time and is finishing off her engineering degree part time as well. In saying that we are social people and enjoy a cheeky wine on weekends with friends. Feel free to message me if you would like further details! We look forward to hearing from you! 😊
Very easy going. Busy working part-time and studying at UON. Third year studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology Honours. Like to go out for dinner, have a drink and socialise on the weekends. Also like some down time and personal space. Extremely respectful, neat and tidy. I enjoy going for walks and hikes, working out at the gym, health and fitness, spiritual person (don't mind a bit of yoga and meditation every now and then), cooking (vegetarian and vegan), reading, and enjoy doing art in my down time. Live a pretty healthy and active lifestyle but also like to indulge now and then. Would love to meet some like minded people who I can potentially become great friends with! Much prefer a community and friendly home rather then a share house! Currently living on the Central Coast and looking to move closer to uni for the next few years and for a nice change. Unfortunately unable to move out until the start of August as I am having a surgery at the beginning of July and will need to be at home to recover for the month before I am able to move out.
Hey there potential roomies! My name is Shannen. People would describe me as down to earth, laid back and friendly. I have been a hotel receptionist for the past 5 years. I love living a healthy active lifestyle, soaking up the sun and cooking yummy food! Happy to socialise and hang out but thoroughly enjoy down time too!
Hi Future Flatmates!, I’m moving to Newcastle to finish off my medical studies at the John Hunter Hospital. If all goes to plan I should graduate at the end of 2019, so I’m looking for a place I could possibly stay for the next 18 months, or at least until the end of this year. I am on exchange right now in Bergen, Norway until the 19th June. I’d be looking to move in from around the 23rd June. I’ve spent the first three years of my degree studying up in Armidale, NSW and so I’m really looking forward to living near the beach soon! It is also my first time living in Newcastle, so it would be great to be shown around to all of the good places. Apart from that I love being outdoors, staying active and trying to new places to eat (I’m a vegetarian). I’m also easy going; and a clean and tidy person. If you have any more questions just let me know. Unfortunately, I won’t have time to come and visit beforehand, but I’m happy to answer any questions and can skype to meet-up beforehand and organise any logistics. Looking forward to your response!
Hey! My name is Indi, I'm 18 and I am newish to Newcastle. Studying sound production in music at TAFE and I have 2 jobs. I'm looking for an easy going household. I'm clean, responsible and respectable. I like surfing, being creative, listening to music and animals. I would love to find a place where the people I'm living with can become my friends. Contact me Thankyou!
Hi I’m Cameron. I work full time as a surveyor. In my spare time I love to surf, go for runs, and walk my Labrador Luna. Also I enjoy both watching and playing the cricket and rugby. I’m easy going, clean and respectful. Luna is well trained, doesn’t bark, and is well socialised with other dogs. She is not an indoor dog and respects peoples space. Looking for house mates with similar traits. Interested in a social house (sharing a beer together of a weekend), but also like to do own thing too.
I'm 21 😊 I’m friendly, neat and social but I like my alone time and I am very respectful of space and privacy, I am also very tidy and pull my weight with cleaning etc 😊 not looking for a party house. prefer somewhere with bills included or a rough estimate as I like to budget.
Hey guys and gals, I'm a 23-year-old graphic designer who's **moving to Newy mid-July** for a new (full-time) job. I'm moving from Melbourne because it's bloody cold here in winter and having grown up around the coastal areas of Kangaroo Island and Adelaide, I miss being near the beach. I like to keep busy doing fun things i.e. cooking, surfing, skating, exploring and having a yarn over a few drinks when not at work, and like to keep fit by going for a run/doing gym classes etc. I'm easygoing, clean, tidy, and a non-smoker, and would like to live with people who are too :) At the moment I live with an advertising creative, a nurse and an occupational therapist (all guys), so I'm used to a household with varying schedules. I currently work at a nursery - of the horticulture variety - as well as a graphic designer, and would love a bit of a backyard to garden/grow food, but am also happy to go without and just fill the house with my extensive plant collection. Happy to live with a fair range of age groups–most of my friends and my three housemates here are in their mid-late 20s or early 30s–in the Newcastle area. Ideally, I'd like to move into an existing house to make the move easier, and I've got no qualms about signing onto a lease if necessary. Would love to have a Skype meet and greet if you think I sound like someone you'd be keen to have around (can provide endorsements from biased friends and current housemates). I'll be house-sitting in Newcastle from the 16th of July until the 5th August, so will be around from then to meet people and look at rooms/houses etc.
I’m a teacher from Austin, Texas taking a year off to travel and play Rugby. My travels are winding down so that I can play Rugby for the Hamilton Hawks in Newcastle. I love to cook and I’m easy to get along with. I’m happy to listen or tell you a story or keep to myself. Besides Rugby, I like painting models, reading, and going to live music.
Hi, I’m very sociable, neat and responsible I’m active and into pretty much anything fun except skydiving I work full time and train regularly which means during the week I’m quite busy and am only home at night time Have recently moved back to Newcastle for work and loving it
I’m always out and about so you probably won’t see me that often unless I’m hungry, im tidy and quiet. I’m easily approachable and easy to get along with. I’m trying to move back to Newcastle from Melbourne. I’m actually fun, I just don’t know how to write a bio And like I smoke cigs but I can not do that at the house if you want idc
I’m 21 and am looking to move back to Newcastle from Sydney to finish a degree that I started a couple of years ago. I’m open minded, easy going, friendly, tidy and love to meet new people. I’m looking for someone similar, ultimately I’d love to be friends with who I live with (love relaxing in the evenings over a wine/beer), but also love my own time so would respect that in others too. I love Newcastle and am looking for a place that’s as central as possible (close to beach, good fruit and veg shops, cafes and local markets). I love having my friends around (I don’t do it all the time, only every now and then) so would like to live with housemate(s) who are cool with this. I work as a home nurse and will also be going to Uni. I have a collection of plants, love music, design and vintage. I also have a kitten called zephie (who loves people, is really well behaved and not high maintenance at all). I really love my home to have an open feel to it, meaning friends welcome to come around whenever. I’m looking for a housemate, or housemates, who are friendly, laidback, open minded and like to keep the house looking nice. I’m also looking for a place for at least 6 months - Ill be studying in Newcastle for another 2 Years so the longer the better. I’m available to move between the end of June and the end of July.
Hi! I'm a full time student at UON and i work part-time in retail. Long term rental preferred. not a big party person, being 30(ish) I’m more into red wine and cheese platters than beer bongs, but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard over a cob loaf and a cheeky night out once in a while. I don’t know that many people up here yet (moved up here from the central coast) so would love to find some friendly interactive housemates that share dinners and drinks from time to time and don’t just pass each other in the hallways. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selections are dinners of champions who can't be bothered with real food. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, v. small. she kinda hates everything (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. spends most of her time asleep in the shade or on my bed at night. If i can give her access outside via a window in my room she's likely to not ever venture into other parts of the house (Because noises are scary). not a clean freak so I’m not going to lose the plot if you leave a dish out for a day but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
Hello future housemates! I’m a 23-year-old male looking for a friendly home with awesome people in their 20’s & 30’s. I do need easy parking for my car and a pet-friendly home for a clean and super-affectionate cat. I work full time at a reputable clinic in Therapeutic Remedial Massage. My times vary, but I work 6 days most weeks and often into the evenings - so I keep pretty busy. I live a pretty active lifestyle. I enjoy free diving, rock climbing, gym sessions and going travelling. Housemates who enjoy cooking and potential gym buddies are big bonus! Netflix binges and evening drinks are welcomed too. My cat’s name is Zippy and he is very well behaved. He is a rescue cat, but has been with me for years. He is very cuddly, inquisitive, spends heaps of time outdoors and loves to come for walks with me around the neighbourhood. I moved from Port Macquarie and haven’t lived in Newcastle for long, so I’m keen to explore some local haunts. I’ve been living in my own place for the last 6 months and have a bunch of furniture. So I’m happy to bring anything the house might be missing or need replacing. REQUIREMENTS: Parking, unfurnished + pet friendly BUDGET: Up to 250 p/w LOCATION: Anywhere that’s an easy commute to Lambton area (for work)
