Have lived in plenty of share houses and know the difference between private and respectful but also having a wine or two at the end of the week. I have recently returned from a contract as a social worker working in remote central Australia. Previous to this, I lived in Newcastle for five years but grew up in NZ. Love banter, shiraz, cooking , running, reading, travelling, gym but most importantly love a clean, pretty chilled out house to come home to at the end of a hectic day at work. I have a small-meduim size rescue pup that I found at the bottom of Uluru (pretty crazy story). So looking for a place that is dog friendly. I understand that having an animal is a liability and have no problems putting down an extra deposit if necessary. Look forward to hearing from you all soon
Hi guys, my name's Daniel and I'm a pilot originally from Perth and am a really practical and down to Earth kind of guy. I love new experiences and lead an active lifestyle so enjoy getting out for a run, swim, hike/camp, travelling or sampling different local beers. I don't smoke and I won't be bringing any kids or pets and will gladly help out around the place and tend to be pretty clean myself. Just a heads up, there will be days where I will be up getting ready (as quietly as possible) for those early flights at about 430am or back about 9pm. I've been in Newy for about 8 months now. The owners of my current rental have decided to sell so I may be looking at having to move. I am also waiting on a call up for the next job that would take me away from Newcastle and so a flexible length of stay is preferred but looking at approximately 2-3 months. The ideal location would have a supermarket, some cafes and maybe a pub/bar or two within walking distance but I am pretty easy. I prefer something on my own up to a share house with a maximum of 4 occupants and am pretty clean and very considerate myself. So if you happen to have a room and think I may be a good fit, please feel free to contact me. Cheers! Dan
I'm Jess, I'm 22 and work full time in Bunnings Trade. Born and bred in Newcastle but wanting to move further into the city. I'm looking for a cosy household with a great housemate dynamic. I'm considerate of others, tidy and love to cook/bake cakes on a regular basis. I'm very much a home body and tend to keep to myself, staying in most nights, but I do enjoy the odd pub feed and frequent wine nights (cheese platters included of course)! Moving with me will be a lot of potted indoor/outdoor plants so I'll definitely make the house greener! I also have two adorable house trained ferrets who will be moving with me. They're desexed males (don't smell) and people have a lot of misconceptions about them, so feel free to ask me any questions about them! If I sound like housemate potential feel free to send me a message.
I’m 49 and employed full time. I’m very easy going, clean, neat and tidy. I like to keep fit and healthy, watching movies and listening to music. I am also studying and have about a year to go. I much prefer nights in but do occasionally enjoy a night out and about. I can provide references from my current flatmates.
Looking to join a charming home or teaming-up with a fabulous lady to share a place with. I'm an easy going and down to earth person. I love travelling, spending time outdoors, and the beach. I enjoy being social but I'm also cool with doing my own thing. I'm happy to hang out and have a good laugh and even occasionally chat over wine or beers. I'm a health professional and work full-time. I enjoy a clean home and believe in sharing tasks.
Hey there! I’m an ex-RAAFie, genuine all-round fun guy, just moved out of a place in The Hill, looking for somewhere to share with some like-minded people! I love dogs, cats too, so if you’ve got either, that’s all cool with me! I’m pretty bloody tidy, always clean up after myself. Can cook the basics, but don’t mind ordering take out, or checking out local restaurants 👌 I’m a non-drinker and non-smoker, I can keep to myself or am happy to have a chat!
I'm an optometrist in my first year of work looking for a place in Newcastle. Would like to live somewhere where common areas are kept reasonably clean and tidy. My main interest outside of work is olympic weightlifting, which keeps me busy after work most days so I'm not at home too much, but when I am I'm always down to hang out or just chat! Flick me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your place. Cheers :)
I am looking for a place to live for the long term, i currently live in lakelands but am looking for somewhere a little bit cheaper/ closer to work, to save a bit of money. I am currently working part time at priceline, i enjoy binging shows on netflix (i spend 90% of my time in my room) and hanging out with pals. Send me a message if you are interested in living with a super groovy 21 year old.
We are very clean and tidy to live with and enjoy cooking. We live a healthy & fairly quiet lifestyle. We’ll be saving to move abroad so will be focusing on work and spending time with family. We are looking to move in aprox mid October for about 3 months. We are a hospitality working couple living in the Aussie Snowy Mountains at present and have spent some time living in Newcastle. We love going to the beach & eating yummy food. We’re excited to meet more lovely Newie people!
I am a psychology student from overseas doing an internship in Newcastle. I am a friendly, quite, reliable and clean person and respect the privacy of others! I like to spend my time with friends and having a nice time! I am looking for roommates which likes to spend the evenings sitting together, cooking, etc. If you’re interested or if you have any questions, just let me know :-) Julie
I am 21 years old, back in Australia after a year abroad. I am new to Newcastle, working full time hours as a bartender. Im very easy going and social, however I find it important for people to have their own space. Looking forward to meeting my new flatmates!
I'm 24 and I am a nurse in Aged care. I am a shift worker and work a variety of shifts. On my days off I love to be out hiking or at the beach. I love to travel also. I'm looking for a chilled place to live with housemates that I would get along well enough with to have the occasional dinner or drink with but also respectful of each others space and downtime. I am very tidy and repectful of other peoples space. Preferably looking for only one or two housemates.

Hey potential roomie! I’m on the prowl for a new room/ potentially to start a new sharehouse around the end of Octoberish- hopefully with my little doggo. I’ve recently finished my university degree and work full time in town. I enjoy staying in and watching cringe worthy tv shows such as the bachelor, strolling around the weekend markets, and don’t mind the occasional few beers. Looking for a place where we can share a housemate dinner and a good laff. Brownie points if you can show me songs to play on my ukulele. Looking at applying for a couple of different places around Cooks Hill, The Hill, Bar Beach area. Would love to hear from you if you have similar interests and looking for a roomie/ new house :)
