Looking to share a home with 1 or 2 other mature people, where we can all feel comfortable, settled and hopefully have good conversation. My ideal housemate/s will be friendly, open-minded, happy to share a meal or cuppa now and then, while also respecting each other's independence, privacy and need for downtime.

I've lived in a number of sharehouses over the years, so understand the importance of consideration, reliability and communication. Unfortunately I have dust allergies, so it would be great to live with people who care about keeping shared spaces clean. That being said, I am also very busy with 'life', so don't expect the home to be sparkling all the time. I mostly just hope that we'll all do our part to keep the place nice and clean up after ourselves without having to be asked. I am big into reduce, reuse and recycle, so having housemates who are equally aware of their environmental impact would be a bonus.

I will be working close to full-time hours on-site and have regular commitments, so I expect to be out and about a lot. I expect to have some early starts, but I try to be as quiet as possible before others are awake and am hoping for the same from my housemate when roles are reversed.

Outside of work, I like to catch up with friends and family, explore new places, get out into nature and go for walks. I also enjoy a slow start on days off and using the time to get on top of personal admin, cooking and laundry, so can be a bit of a homebody at times. I'm a social person, so hope to be in a home where I can invite a couple of friends or family around on the odd occasion.
