MUST LOVE (LITTLE) DOGS 🩷

We are looking for a place to call home - myself and my furbabies Max and Louie.

About me:

I am a 53-year-old, single, non-smoking professional. I’m easy-going, house-proud, quiet, reliable and respectful. I can provide great rental references upon request. I am financially secure, though gradually winding down towards retirement. I still keep a hand in at the clinical statistics company I established in 2007.

I grew up in Brisbane, but I have been living in Far North Queensland for the past seven years. I now want to return to live in Northern NSW to be closer to family and friends.

In my spare time I dabble in a bit of painting, woodworking and chilling with my furbabies. I am starting a course in Visual Arts, part-time at TAFE in July 2026. I also enjoy gardening, crocheting, and just learning new skills - I am currently (trying) to learn Spanish.

The Furbabies: Max and Louie are six month old brothers. I only intended to get one dog - Max, but when I went to pick him up, Louie - the runt - was the only puppy left. They were obviously bonded besties and it would have broken my heart to separate them. So, I took them both. Even though it’s proven a challenge to find a rental with both boys, I wouldn’t change a thing. They bring me, and everyone who meets them SO much joy 😁

They are very well behaved, house-trained, and keep me and one another well entertained. They 💜 cuddles, playtime and sleep, and I am committed to continuing puppy training once we are settled in a new home. I would also ensure any home we do rent is dog-proofed as much as possible in order to protect your property.

What We Looking For:

We are seeking a 1–2 bedroom property, ideally with a fenced courtyard or small garden space. Happy for a stand alone place or granny flat or house on a property. An apartment is workable, as we are currently in one, however ideally we’d like some outdoor space for the boys to play in. They are inside dogs, so any outdoor play is always under supervision, so fencing isn’t an issue. I also enjoy gardening, crocheting, and learning new skills, and am currently studying Spanish. I’d love a spot to grow my own herbs 🌿 and small veggies again.

I am open to furnished, partly furnished or unfurnished properties.

Brisbane: Red Hill, Paddington, Kelvin Grove, Wilston, Grange, South Brisbane, East Brisbane and surrounding suburbs.

Northern NSW: Alstonville, Ballina, Brunswick Heads, Ocean Shores, East Lismore and rural surrounding areas, Mullumbimby, Murwillumbah and surrounding areas.

We really need to make the move in late March / early April.
