I am a quiet, friendly, easy going, clean and tidy person. I teach English to adults from other cultures on a casual basis in the city and enjoy a simple, uncluttered life of books, journaling, Philosophy, long walks, beach weekends once a month, coffee out most days.
Hi, My name is Sherrie and I'll be moving up to Brisbane from SA sometime during early feb 2019 to study Paramedics/Nursing at QUT. I am an easygoing, active and tidy person. I love to live a busy lifestyle but like having a nice place to come back to. Very social and love meeting new people.
Hi – I'm Mitch. I'm 25, work full-time in hospo and study philosophy part-time. I'm a happy-go-lucky vego that enjoys patting dogs, cooking, records and Reddit. I'm looking for a share house for 6-months, while I save to go overseas. My partner works in the arts and travels regularly. It would be ideal to find a place where she can stay with me 2 - 3 nights a week and store her plants. 🌿 I can contribute a few furnishings to the house (couch, fridge, washing machine +) if required or happy to store them elsewhere. I've lived in a few share houses and I appreciate the things that make them enjoyable – like respecting different schedules and personal space, keeping common areas clean, and sharing a meal or a few beers.
I am very independent but love meeting new people, venturing outdoors, keeping fit &; travelling! I’m easy to get along with and happy to to socialise over a meal or drink every once and a while! I work in Aged Care & Studying this year in Brisbane so will be in and out a lot
Hi there, I'm Dymphna! I was born and raised in Brisbane. I just graduated with an honours degree in psychology at UQ after spending 2 years living abroad in Berlin and Amsterdam. I work as a research assistant at UQ and in hospitality at a cafe in West End. I love to read (science, philosophy, fiction), cycle, practice yoga, go to the markets and the beach, and have picnics. I'm relaxed, down to earth, and easygoing. I'd love to live in a quiet, calm, and clean home that makes an effort to be sustainable. Flexible with moving in dates, ideally around late Jan :)
Just moved to Brisbane from Sydney for a job opportunity. Working full-time and tend to travel with work monthly. I am single and looking to move to an apartment or sharehouse with likeminded people, hopefully one that is already set up as I only have bedroom furnishings currently. I am rather social and enjoy the great outdoors and going out for drinks but also enjoy quiet nights in and binging on Netflix. I am laid back and easy going and enjoy having a relaxed relationship with housemates where we hang out and have a conversation about our day. Hoping that this also opens me up to meeting new people in Brissy.
Hi, I’m liesl. I’m moving to Brisbane from a small town in North West NSW. I am a non smoker, polite and consider myself tidy and organised. I enjoy outdoors and sports, so I imagine my weekends will be out of the house. I enjoy my own space and am considerate of others but also am quite social. I will be working full time. I look forward to meeting new people and would love to hear from anyone interested. Cheers.
Just a young female professional looking to move into a friendly and fun environment. I am a neat and tidy individual who is very social and approachable. Having lived out of home for several years throughout university, work life and various international endeavours, I understand how to respect other people's privacy but also know how a household works. I'm organised and enjoy both cooking and cleaning, and have a great background in Film and TV education, so movies are a must! I am originally from a small town on the mid north coast of NSW, but have since ventured out to live in Adelaide and Brisbane over the past couple of years. Travelling continues to inform my zest for life and so I have travelled to various international locations to gain cultural and worldly experiences. Cheers, Chanel :)
Hey! I am about to start my first year at QUT studying primary education after 5yrs of ski instructing here and abroad. I currently work as a casual for a promotional company. When I'm not there you'll find me rock climbing, at the beach or hunting for the next amazing vegan cafe/restaurant! Currently living in the Redlands but am wanting to move closer to the CBD for uni, to be closer to friends and to my climbing gym. I'd love to live in a tidy place, that feels more like a home than a house. A place where everyone gets along and is social with one another but also allows me quiet time to study.
Hey! I’m Ned, a down to earth, easy going, open minded guy. I work full time from monday to friday, and try to stay fit in the afternoons. Fairly routine orientated during the week but on weekends you can usually find me riding, hiking, enjoying a drink or just straight up relaxing. Slightly introverted but don’t mind partying every now and then. Originally from Coffs Harbour, I’ve been in Brisbane for roughly 1 year now. I’ve been told that I’m pretty cruisy to live with, I always clean up after myself and pull my weight around the place. Currently living with two friends, but they have both just recently acquired love interests who are here a lot and the place is becoming cramped. Just chasing a change and bit more space really. Cheers!
I just moved to Brisbane from the Gold Coast and work for QCAT in the city so looking for a furnished room (just need a queen size bed) that is close to buses into the city. I am very clean and responsible and ideally looking for social housemates as I don't know anyone in Brisbane other than work people. I am fun, outgoing and love to get out and about. Would be great to meet flatmates that are friends to enjoy a meal or a drink with occassionally however it's not absolutely necessary and I understand we all have our own lives. Paying my rent on time each week is no problem at all but I have limited savings so cant afford to pay 4 weeks rent as a bond but could do 2 weeks bond. Looking to live with people that are chilled like myself and able to look after themselves and don't mind a drink at the pub occasionally. Would prefer not to live with students, unemployed, couples and definitely no crazy cat ladies thanks! I am ideally after a room with a queen bed, ceiling fan and built in wardrobe where I don't have to pay to park my car outside the house but can be flexible for the right place and right flatmates.
I'm an international student from Sweden. Easy going guy, very friendly and tidy. I like living in a clean house. Do like being able to sit down at night and have dinner with roommates but also have my own private space in my room. I like to cook and even to clean, so my room will be tidy. Very social guy but busy during the days. Oliver is a full Aussie, studying at QUT in Brisbane. He is a very social, easy going and friendly guy. Works part-time.
I'm roadtripping up from Melb to Bris in Jan chasing the warm breeze and muggy nights. I'll be starting my job Jan 29th so hoping to be settled somewhere by then. Happy to live anywhere as long as there is lots of lovely smelling trees around and nice places to stroll. Mount Coot-Tha general area seems pretty dreamy. I like laughing, yoga, reading, dancing, rainforests and waterfalls, mountains, blissing out to a good tune and chats about anything from the weather to the meaning of life. I eat mostly plants and try to live pretty healthy. We'll see how my lifestyle adapts to Brissy but at the moment I'm not home too often. Usually out any spare moment I get hiking and exploring new places or at markets and op shops. **I'm allergic to cats
I am friendly and down to earth, I bring many plants and a very friendly and loveable 5kg dog, Bambi! Looking for a larger room with no built in as I have a large wardrobe unit and King size bed. I work full time in the CBD. Also have a lot of other furnishings if required otherwise can be put into storage (couple of outside couches, TV, PlayStation, futon, fridge and washing machine). Don't hesitate to contact me if Bambi and I sound like we could be a good fit for your household🐕
Hiya, I'm Sarah, I'm 24, and have just started full time work as an interior designer in a firm in Albion. I'm friendly and pretty easy going - always happy for a chat over a drink, but I do like time to myself so definitely appreciate/respect other people's time and space. I'm neat and tidy, and tend to go through phases of over-baking, so tasty snacks abound! I enjoy getting outdoors and always have a crafty project on the go. I'm looking to find a place that has a friendly and social vibe, preferably with a mix of guys and gals.
Originally from Wales, UK. Moved to Oz over 5 years ago. Moving interstate from Dubbo NSW to the Brisbane area. I will have little furniture so would be nice to find something furnished, however i can organise my own bed and furnishings if needs be. Unfortunately i won't be walking in to a job when i move, so it's a little tricky to get work until i am actually living in the area, HOWEVER please do not let this put you off as I will be able to support myself and to pay the rent until i do get employment. I have 1 female desexed Husky called Xena. She is very friendly with people but takes a while to warm to other dogs. I rescued her from a shelter so i am not sure of her history. She is house trained. I can have a good time when the mood suits, but i also respect everyone's privacy and hope you would do the same. I am social and enjoy hanging out with other like minded people. I can be spontaneous! Would be great to have a good group in a house where we can grow to be mates instead of just sharing a home. The odd adventure away together or night out etc.
Hi, my name is Sam. I’m just returning home after working in Europe for two years. I am returning to full time work in Brisbane as children’s counselor and am looking for a place to call home for about 6-12 months from Feb 4th. I might be working some night shifts during the week, but I am always super quiet if I get in late! I’m a super social, relaxed, clean person. Happy to live in a social household or a quiet one. Love animals, weekend markets and spending time with my friends and family.
Hi Guys! I am a 22 year old Business student at QUT. I also have a secure part time position in Admin. Between uni, work and trying my best to stay fit (aren't we all) my lifestyle is a full time Monday-Friday set up. I am originally from the Sunshine Coast, moved to Brisbane a few years ago for uni, with that being said, most of my friends are still on the Coast and therefore I spend every second weekend there! In terms of personality, I am a fun, loving, genuine and super social person and enjoy a good laugh or two over a few drinks on the weekends. Looking for roommates that I can socialise with and also be mindful of everyones space. My home is my sanctuary (so to speak) so I also like to keep it clean and would like my roomies to be the same! **Please Note: Due to my current lease I cannot/am not available to move until the 31/01**
Easy to get along with, not really into the party scene but will enjoy a few quite drinks at home. I've been renting for 4 years now so I'm respectful of your privacy, clean, cook for myself, pay on time, all those good things we say to sell ourselves. Always happy to help out around the house if you're over worked and need a hand ect. Moved to Brisbane from SW QLD to study, I currently work fulltime in the city in IT. In my downtime I read a lot of books, play a few video games and sometimes head out for a night out. I currently own a bed/desk plus a few extra items for my bedroom, if needed I can also bring with me a fridge, chest freezer, drawers and pingpong table if desired. My moving date is flexible depending on when I find someone to fill my current room, my current lease ends on the 16th.
