I’m a young professional looking for some temporary accommodation. I work 8:30-4:30 Monday to Friday and I’m out most weekends with activities, markets and hobbies so I’m afraid you’ll only have me for dinners and most nights. I also need the room to be furnished, I’m also a smoker (outside). I’m a very private person, so I will respect your privacy and ask the same for myself.
I am a yoga teacher and wellness specialist (working with PTSD/trauma/high-stress occupations) looking at making the move back to Brisbane from the Sunshine Coast. I have a beautiful, 5y/o husky who loves people but as a rescue pup, doesn't do well with other dogs in the same space. She's fluffy, but I make sure I clean up after her. (Outside-only dog - I know people always say that, but this is actually very true). I also have a sweet, quite timid inside-only cat (so she's clean) who will probably hide a lot of the time until she gets to know people. I'm clean, super-respectful of space and boundaries, am not a partier but can enjoy a wine or two over good conversation. I'm friendly and love when I live with people I can get along with. I'm reliable with bills and a good communicator. Bonus: I also come with an espresso coffee machine! I also have white goods (can be stored elsewhere if necessary) and super comfy lounge suite (can confirm: best napping couch!) Since I own my own business, I will need space at least in the bedroom for my desk if not an extra area where possible. I'm generally pretty busy and focused on my work. When I'm not doing that, I'm out at yoga (doing or teaching), walking the dog, being active (just getting into indoor rock climbing), finding a park to chill out and read in, etc etc. My move date is just dependent on finding the right place. Let me know if you have any other questions :)
Hello! I am a full time graphic designer at a media agency in Hendra, and also study full time at QUT… As you can tell I am a busy person, but I am still social (not that going out yahooing type), the indoor food, drinks and games kind of guy… I am seriously easy to get along with, and fully respect house rules, privacy etc. I can clean up after myself, and happy to pitch in with the house cleaning. Lover of all animals and walks of life :)
I'm clean, quiet, easygoing...I pay my bills on time and tidy up after myself...Looking to pay around $250 a week and all inclusive prefer to share with one person and unfurnished bedroom...I keep fit...love animals so not a problem if you have them...I work in the Brisbane area...I have been in share accommodation before plus had my own place...I have a job and work full time...I am in the Hospitality business.
Easy going , clean and respectful. I spend most of my time out the of the house either at work (work as a lawyer in the city) or on the coast with friends and family. Looking to share with another likeminded male or female that has similar schedules and habits. I have most of the furnishings and happy to mix and match to kit out a new place.
Easygoing, clean and organized. Aviation student and working part time. I'm very respectful. I don't smoke nor do drugs, I don't mind a few beers, but definitely do not like being wasted. I like my privacy, but also enjoy a good conversation. I'm interested in an environment that is not very noisy
Hi there! I'm a 19 year old girl looking for a room in and around the Brisbane CBD- preferably with other girls around my age. I'm vegetarian and a greenie at heart so I'm big on plants and keen on keeping my space clean and tidy. Would expect my own privacy and respect yours! I'll be starting my studies at QUT Gardens Point next year so would prefer a fairly quiet household with lots of natural light please! Thanks in advanced :)
Hey! Shae (24, my current roommate, and I (Tara, 33) are looking to team up with some like-minded people who are wanting to save money on rent by moving into a larger house (3-5 bedrooms). Our rental searches have shown some beautiful properties in inner city Brisbane for approximately $200-$250 per person. We currently live in a 2-bedroom apartment so we have furniture that is relatively modern and recently purchased that would sufficiently furnish some communal areas of a larger property (lounge, coffee table, TV cabinet, fridge, washing machine etc as well as a fully stocked kitchen!). Obviously, by moving into a larger house additional items can be accommodated. A bit about us: We both usually keep busy during the week with work and gym but enjoy a wine or two on the weekend. We like to have a catch up together but also keep busy with our own things. We are looking for people that would also be keen to hang out and socialise from time to time :)
27yo student doctor looking for a place Nov 2018 for one year. Flexible on location: South Bank, Teneriffe, Paddo, New Farm, Gabba, etc. I would prefer my own bathroom and to live with professionals in their mid-20s/30s. I am at hospital during the day but like having friendly roommates at home. I am clean and respectful of shared living spaces, work out most nights, and am at the coast most weekends. Australian, recently moved back to Queensland from Sydney looking to for decent affordable accommodation close to the city. I work as an engineer in the city and am a friendly, easy going, tidy, quiet and respectful housemate.
Hi, I’m Ricardo, I recently found out I will have to leave the place I’m staying at and I would love to find a new place in the next few weeks or so. I’m pretty easy going, I’m always up to a chat but I also respect people’s personal space. I am currently working part-time and studying full-time so I can also be pretty quiet sometimes when exams are near. If you need a new flatmate or if you would like to team up and find a place please message me.
Hello! My name is Amanda and I am a 23 year old professional. I work full time in the CBD and also study part time, meaning I am generally a pretty busy person and keep mostly to myself! If I'm not working or studying then I'm more than likely cooking (Italian mum & Chinese dad so it's a given), or outdoors on a mini weekend adventure. I also have a degree in Graphic Design so that can keep me glued to my computer on side projects. I'm not much of a party person (out grew that long ago), however I am pretty social during the week with work/friend dinners etc so I come and go.
Hey! I'm a young professional working in the city. Looking for change of living style that's still within the same area, close to work. I'm friendly, easy going, flexible and approachable. I keep myself busy with work, family, friends and trying to keep active, but hoping to find housemates I can enjoy an unwind with at the end of my day! (Ideally at this looking for somewhere with a flexible arrangement end of the year due to my work contract - likely I'll be able to look at staying longer however.)
I work night shift, so I pretty much keep to myself during the day. I have my 1 year old dog with me who is house/toilet trained, who is mostly an inside dog. Very respectful of others belongings and personal space.
I'm an accountable and nice person, very quite a respectful with everyone.
Hey! I'm a clean person. I love animals and like to cook. I socialise with anyone, and being kind and respectful is definitely important, however, I also know when to give someone space. I'm recently graduated and I'm now full time as an engineer working in Spring Hill. I like to go out on the weekends to the valley or have a night in at home too. I also like travelling and exploring new places and trying new things.
Hey there! I'm a 24 year old student currently studying law and international relations. Not much of a party girl, but don't mind a drink or two on the weekend or checking out somewhere new! I work 4-5 days a week at a cafe (all mornings) I am love pets if you have one! I'm clean, tidy and respectful of others. Don't mind a Netflix binge every now and then! I have a proper coffee machine (not pods) for all you coffee lovers like me! i'm social but still like to keep to myself too! If there is anything else you wish to know or want to meet up to get a vibe of what type of person I am feel free to contact me :)
One is a Full time Professional working Monday to Friday and the other roommate works in events and has changing hours every week-this means you may often have the place to yourself or some wonderful company! We enjoy being social, cooking, entertaining, and chatting. You will often find us cooking dinner, drinking wine and eating cheese. We are clean and tidy and looking for someone who has a like minded and fun personality!
Hi I’m a primary school teacher who loves to make the most out of life! I enjoy doing lots of hobbies and projects, while I also like to get out and explore places in my free time. I’ve lived in shared houses for a number of years and I’m a fairly chilled, neat and tidy, respectful housemate.
