Rosie, 20 years old. Moving from Toowoomba to Brisbane around mid January 2018. Easy going girl who loves to stay active, plays soccer and is a passionate music lover. I have a diploma of graphic design and am looking to further my studies in the coming years. Planning on finding full time work for 2018. Transferring with my current job down to Brisbane to get my foot in the door. Would be ideally looking for people around the same age / uni students.
Hi guys, I'm a 30 year old Australian non-smoker, working full-time in the digital team at Flight Centre. When I'm not destroying my liver at work's new rooftop bar, I spend most of my weekends out and about exploring what nature has to offer! Love surfing, camping, and generally anything that'll add a glow to my English inherited skin tone. That said, the odd hungover TV series binge isn't out of the question. Down? Most people would describe me as very cruisey, and always up for a laugh. My humour would be best described as a mix between Euphoric Queenslander Memes and Happy Gilmore. Should also probably mention that I'm tragic Broncos fan and I cried after the 2015 grand final. Cheers, Matt
Hello potential house mate/ new friend! We are two creative buddies looking for a 3 bedroom home and a lovely guy or gal to take the 3rd bedroom! Mady is studying a Bachelor of Design at Griffith QLD College of Art and I (Jayden) am studying a Bachelor of Audio Engineering and Sound Production at JMC Academy. We do not care if you're a girl or a guy and of course lgbtq+ people are welcome! We are looking for someone that would be keen to socialise and make friends as we really don't want this to feel like a share house , but more of a nice home for the 3 of us ❤️ We do love a drink or 15 and a bit of a party every now and then but we are also clean and tidy and lookin for the same. Swing me a message letting me know a little bit about yourself, I'd love to have a chat!
Hey! I'm a pretty easy going person who likes the usual gym, travel, movies, food, and drinks. I would love to find housemates who don't just live together but actually become friends, who can chill over a beer/wine. I also work standard office hours. *Also pretty flexible with moving dates.
Well hey there, I'm Carla! I'm 33 years old (but super young at heart and I get along well with people of all ages). I'm looking to move to Brisbane because I'll be studying at QUT next year (bachelor of fine arts in film, screen and new media). I really like to chill at home and quietly unwind but I'm also very friendly and easy to get along with. I always love to have a good laugh! I'm considerate of other people and I'm also reliable and trustworthy. I'm really looking to find a sharehome that feels like a good fit with people who I can feel comfortable with. My hobbies include performing improv (I just got into it this year and I seriously love it so much), anything to do with acting and also singing. I should mention that I'm unfortunately allergic to cats and I also prefer not to live with smokers because of asthma/allergy/sensitivity issues. Thanks for reading! Feel free to contact me for more info. :D
Hey!! I have lived out of home for two years now and have loved living with room mates. I'm looking to live closer to the city for my job and study. I am clean and value honesty. I don't smoke and I don't have any pets. Excited to hear from you!!
Hello, we are a french couple (both 27 y.o.) and we spent 9 months travelling all around Australia. We just reached Brisbane 3 weeks ago, and we both found a Job (Isabelle in hospitality in part-time and Arnaud in a web agency in full-time). We would like to stay at least 1-2 months in Brisbane, and Arnaud should get a sponsorship in one month : so we will probably stay longer (one-two year or more). We both are fluent in english, and are passionate about music, video games, travelling, food, and meeting new people. We used to live in a share appartement in Paris, so we know how important it is to be respectful with roommates (keep the place clean, respect privacy etc.). We don't have pets here in Australia, but we have a cat in France so if you have pets that won't be an issue : we love animals! We are smokers but we of course never smoke inside the house/appartement. If you want to know more about us, let's meet ;)
Hoping to move to Brisbane next year and would love to find some great people to live with. From a small country town but have been living in Canberra for last two years. I'm a friendly, outgoing, kind and relaxed person who doesn't like to take things too seriously. I love music, sport (AFL and basketball), food, travelling, dogs, fitness, and having a laugh with mates. I am also very respectful of other people's space and am happy to clean and keep things tidy.
Hello! I am looking to team up with someone or a few people to get a place within the inner city suburbs or close to. I have an inside cat named Charlie who's who is well behaved. Pretty easy going, I work shift work so I either am sleeping when I'm on shifts in a row or out and about when I'm on days off! Interested in rooms in a sharehouse if I am able to have my indoor cat (he does not go outside ever haha)
Bubbly and easy to get along with person. Clean and tidy. Looking for a short term accomodation while my friend and I are finding a place to live in together. I have a car and will need somewhere to put it (other than street parking as it's brand new and I don't want it to get destroyed).
Greetings future housemate(s)! I am from Melbourne and looking for a temporary living situation for around 3-4 months. An Accountant by day, stand-up comedian by night. I play a little guitar, a little piano and a big harmonica. I sometimes cook and plan to quit yoga soon and start this flying trapeze course. And yes, you have caught me trying to sound interesting to you. Truthfully, I am quite ordinary and easy to get to know. I am at my happiest when mucking around with friends/family and their pets- I do love all living creatures, except bed bugs. As a housemate, I am helpful, neat, sanitary, considerate and respectful of other people and their space. I do not take myself too seriously but I seriously need to be able to park my car somewhere (street parking will do). If all this sounds reasonable, please contact me as soon as you can. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Sincerely, Chloe P.S I’m not actually a stand up comedian, yet.
Hello! My name is Dustin and I'll be re-locating to Brisbane for a job mid November. I'm from Southern California and like to surf, ride bikes and have some beers with friends in my spare time. I'm pretty low key and my work keeps me busy but I'm always down to BBQ and hang out!
I am doing my PhD on marsupial brain evolution in UQ (for the next 3+ years), so I need a place to stay. I play the guitar occasionally, have a road bike but will prolly be spending most of the time in the Uni. I'm an easy-going guy with plenty of international experience (have been living in the USA, Hungary, Bulgaria, UK and for the last 10 years in the Netherlands), love having a dinner with the housemates every now and then, like board games, craft-beer and nature.
Hey there! I'm a psych student at UQ who is nearing the end of my undergrad degree but will likely be staying at uni for the next few years. I am pretty clean and a decent cook. I work a few days a week and the other days I'm at uni. I do have a small dog who lives for eating, sleeping and going for walks. She is pretty chill with other animals and adores people. I'm breezy about move in dates but would love to be in my new place before mid jan. The place I'm in currently is looking to offload some furniture so I do have the option of bringing whitegoods/ living room furniture etc. if needed
Born and raised from Texas! On a work holiday visa. I plan to live in Brisbane for a year or so. I am fun and outgoing but also dedicated to my work. I am very friendly- love getting to know people. I am also really clean and I am looking to room with people who are easy going and just as friendly and hard-working.
Hi, I'm looking for a place to stay for a minimum of 4 months whilst I study. I'm clean, I'm tidy, I'm respectful. I've relocated from the sunshine coast to study so studying will be my main focus. I like to have a good laugh, I like weird and quirky people, just like i like quiet and introverted people... I can basically fit in anywhere. At the end of the dayI'm looking for a roof over my head while I study. Why not meet some new people and make some friends along the way.
Hi! I'm Sophie, I’ll be 22 early next year and I’m just finishing up a psychology degree and graduating this December. Next year I’ll be doing post grad psych study and/or working. I like eating pizza, binge-watching TV shows and I like to think I’m quite friendly and easy going- always up for a chat and to hang out but also like my own space! I'm looking to move sometime between late November and end of January :)
JANUARY 2018 onwards only! We're a young married couple looking to relocate to Brisbane from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia sometime in January 2018. We are both working professionals. Looking for a fully furnished ensuite bedroom for 250aud (max) inclusive of all bills. If however you are looking to team up, we're all ears! Since we do want the ensuite and don't own a car, so you may take the porch for yours! We're clean and tidy, and a believer in personal space. We love animals too, so if you've got a furkid we don't mind helping out with the pets.
Hey guys, I've recently moved back to bris after a few years living in the US and Canada. I'm currently finishing some post grad studies while working full time in marketing. Ideally I am looking for something in inner bris, but i'm not super hung up on a particular area. Let me know if you would like to know anything else. Otherwise, feel free to have a creep of my insta: jimmyhnln
