I'm a 24-year-old female student at UWA who loves living in a cozy studio or a quiet room in the shared house. I'm bad at geography so the list of preferred regions is not exhaustive. I will cook in the house or shared kitchen, about 1-3 times a week. My preferred lease length is 6 months, but a longer lease is totally fine if the place goes beyond my expectation (for example, the room is spacious, or the address is very close to the campus). I probably won't use the public space often so you can expect your shared space remains very tidy. As an introverted foodie, I enjoy journaling and working remotely. Depending on how soon I can get a part-time job, I may be away for quite a bit of time during the day after the semester starts. I prefer a quiet space, not into parties. LGBTQIA+, childfree and pet-free, I'm content living with like-minded individuals. If you have a pet I'm happy to spend some time with your pet, don't worry.
I can't verify my ID yet because I'm in Canada until January 20 and I have to be in Australia to verify. My friend Joyce is doing inspections for me and you can have a video call with me during the inspection if you wish.
What do I need for an ideal place (importance from the highest to the lowest):
-close to the UWA, probably 30-60 minutes away from the campus by transit (I can't drive so this is a hard must)
-a price under 350 per week, utilities included (also a hard must, unless it starts to rain dollars)
-good amenities (washing and drying machine on site and air conditioning for summer)
-a respectful and honest place owner or subletter who follows the contract (yeah you can tell I had some bad experience before lol; tenants are not being treated well in the US)
-some quiet personal time, at least after 10pm. I may stay up late if I've got essays to write, but I'm not gonna do anything that makes noises
