Hello!

Looking for a new home base on the Gold Coast - ideally somewhere calm, light-filled, and friendly. I run my own consulting business, and work in Sydney for a week or so every 6 weeks.
Hoping to find another growth-minded professional to live with!

I'm relatively new to the GC, I grew up in Brisbane then moved to Sydney for 15 years, and have now settled on the GC after two years travelling in SE Asia and Fiji. I have family here, and I love the beach and hiking in the hinterland so it made sense for me to settle here, rather than returning to the grind of Sydney.

I'm looking for a home that has a place where I can work from home a few days a week - a small desk, even a nice outdoor area, I'm not too picky. It's just me and my laptop :-)
Other days I work from client's offices, library or cafes / beach - I mix it up to avoid the procrastination and distraction that often happens working from home!

Ideally looking for somewhere walking distance or short drive to beach or water, but I love quiet rural and farms (especially if there's horses!) so I'm open to that too.

I'm pretty self-sufficient and independant, I like a clean home and take good care of any property I live in - I own townhouse myself in Brisbane, rented out long-term so I know the value of a good tenant/flattie who takes care of the property.
My furniture is all in a storage unit in Sydney, so I'm looking for a bedroom that is furnished, has linens etc ideally.

I'm flexible on which area of the GC I live in, just prefer to stay away from the central area - Surfer's Paradise etc.
