About me

Hi! My name's Richard, and I'm originally from the UK. I'm excited to be starting a new chapter of my life in Adelaide!

I previously spent time living and working in Melbourne on a Working Holiday Visa between June and October 2025, which was a fantastic experience. I'm now returning to Australia to pursue a new career path, studying Conservation and Ecosystem Management at TAFE SA in Urrbrae.

I'm looking to move in around early January 2027, ideally somewhere I can settle into long-term and really make feel like home. I'll also be looking to work part-time alongside my studies to help support myself.

A little about me: I'm friendly, easy going and laid-back, and I enjoy meeting new people and making connections. I love travelling, exploring new places, spending time outdoors and getting involved in different activities. I'm particularly looking forward to discovering Adelaide and South Australia, meeting new people and enjoying some new adventures along the way!

I'm always happy to socialise with housemates, whether that's having a chat, sharing a meal or heading out to do something together. Equally, I appreciate that everyone has their own routines, interests and need for personal space.

When it comes to sharing a home, I'm clean, considerate and respectful. I believe in treating wherever I live as my own home, doing my fair share of household responsibilities and helping maintain a tidy, comfortable and welcoming environment for everyone.

Ideally, I'm looking for a relaxed, friendly household with a good balance between socialising and enjoying our own downtime. As I'll be relying on public transport, good connections to TAFE and around Adelaide would be a big plus.

I'm really looking forward to settling into Adelaide and embracing everything this next chapter has to offer!

If you think I'd be a good fit for your home, I'd love to hear from you. Feel free to get in touch with any questions!

Thanks,
Richard
