Chirag and Ellie

Hi, we’re Chirag (32) and Ellie (32), moving from New Zealand to Sydney and looking for a home where community and connection matter as much as the space itself.

Chirag – Artist, founder, and creative soul. I’m launching my startup (ARCLAB) in Australia and spend my time between art, music, and ideas. I love playing guitar, reading, cooking (especially fresh bread), tending plants, and diving into exhibitions or films. I value meaningful conversations, shared laughter, and creating spaces that feel alive and welcoming.

Ellie – A singer and aspiring musician, yoga teacher, and lifelong ocean-baby. She’s spent the last few years balancing law with climate volunteering, and is now exploring her creativity more deeply. She brings warmth, calm presence, and a love of music, movement, and soulful community.

Together – We’re curious, adventurous, and love being outdoors (hiking, camping, ocean swims). At home we lean into music, books, meditation, and cooking together. We started and ran a creative sharehouse in NZ for the past 6 years, which became a cherished hub for community, art, and connection. We’ll be subletting our room there while in Sydney.

We’re looking for a place that feels more like a home than just a house — one where we can bring warmth, reliability, and a spirit of creativity, while respecting the rhythms of the people we live with.
