Hello! I am moving to Australia to start a masters program in Architecture at Bond. I found the program by googling "architecture programs near surfing" so yeah, surfing is a big motivator for this life choice, as well as escaping bitterly cold winters (and, well, other things happening in the US). I am super outdoorsy and love hiking, running, backpacking, surfing, snowboarding/skiing, etc. I also love working with my hands - woodworking, sewing, gardening, leatherwork, metalwork, etc. I'm lucky enough to have traveled quite a bit - lived in Japan for a year, several months in Costa Rica and Central America, SE Asia, NZ, central Europe. I love music, generally in the alt. rock genre but kinda all over the place genre-wise. Love going out for a chill gig and a beer! I am looking for a 3 month or longer lease with chill roommates I can be friends with who are clean and respectful of shared spaces. I currently live with three roommates in a very small house in Denver, Colorado, USA and I do all the yard maintenance and handyman stuff, which I enjoy immensely.
