I’m 66 and currently work two part time jobs. I work in aged care (wellbeing assistant) Tue, Thur and Sat afternoons and kids music Mondays and alternate Friday mornings. Likely I’ll be working extra aged care shifts through to end of January. I’m a neat and happy person - I do have a bit of “stuff” as I need resources for both my jobs. I prepare music sessions on my computer so rehearse as I prepare for the following week’s sessions. I have a 13yo disabled Burmese cat, Jazz, and will be sharing our 5yo border collie, Bonnie, with my ex partner (she’s great with cats and so sweet and calm - I also take her to my work at aged care often). That means James will have her a number of days throughout the week and I’ll have her the rest. She gets two good walks each day and often comes to work with me.
I am honest, passionate about animals, the disadvantaged and music - especially folk. I’m a neat non-smoker and respectful and empathetic to others’ situations. I do tend to sing a lot so I’ve never been sure if that’s an attribute but as my ex says “if she’s singing, she’s happy”! I’m also trying to re-train myself how to use a sewing machine…..
