Hi everyone,

My name is Tom, I’m 23, and I'm coming from near Frankfurt, Germany, to Brisbane for my exchange semester at UQ (St. Lucia) from February until the end of June 2025.

I'm doing my Master’s in Energy Science and Engineering and will be taking courses in Renewable Energies at UQ. I'm currently on another exchange semester in Madrid, so I'm very experienced with living in sharehouses and adapting to new environments.

Having lived in different sharehouses in Germany and Spain, I know how important it is to be respectful of shared spaces. I’m a tidy person, love to cook (I prepare my own meals daily), and always clean up after myself.

In my free time, I’m very active. I go to the gym regularly, but also love playing football, padel, or tennis, and enjoy cycling or running. I’m also super keen to (finally) try surfing while I’m in Aus!

I’m a social person and enjoy exploring new places, grabbing a drink in a bar, or heading out with friends (I’m probably more of a night owl). However, I just as much appreciate a relaxed evening in. My weekends are usually a mix of everything: day trips, cultural activities, parties, or just chilling out.

I'm looking for a friendly, social sharehouse. It would be great to find flatmates who are keen to hang out sometimes, but who also respect each other's downtime.
