I am an international student at QUT, studying Construction Management. I am a clean and organized person, love to meet and get along with people. Would love to meet with the housemates whenever possible, go out with them for dinner/lunch. But also know how to keep things to myself and not disturbing others and respecting their privacy. I have a part-time job as well as a cadetship so would be busy with my stuff, but would love to hang out and have a chat every now and then. Also, I am interested in starting a new sharehouse together and ready to meet new and fun people in the way for creating a share house.
I currently live on the Gold Coast and would like to move to Brisbane as I work full time in the city. I like to socialise but also respect peoples privacy and quiet time. Through the week I'm usually going to the gym or for a walk after work. On weekends I don't mind some chats over wine, a nice dinner out or occasionally some drinks. I am looking to move in with only one other person and looking for something relatively modern with easy commute :) I am looking move in as soon as possible, feel free to message me if you have a spare room.
Hi there, I'm Renee and I am 25 years old. I like to think I'm pretty easy going, I know when to keep to myself and I like to keep pretty quiet and relaxed most of the time. I am very neat and tidy, like very very neat and tidy. I am just looking for a chilled place where I can feel relaxed and comfortable doing my own thing. I'm a full-time worker in digital marketing so would only be home nights and weekends, I go to the coast about once a month for the whole weekend too. I love wine and always keen to have a glass after work or a few on the weekends. Always into meeting new people and I also like to think I'm quite friendly. I have 2 cats, Cat Stevens and Banjo Catterson. They're outside pretty much all the time and they are super chilled and mostly well behaved. I'm always on time with rent and other bills as well. If I sound like someone you wouldn't mind living with or renting too then shoot me a message :)
I'm a Japanese girl from Cairns, just finished my Medical Engineering degree at QUT and currently looking for a place until I move to Japan in November :) I am tidy, easygoing and always pay bills on time. In my spare time I go rock climbing and play video games.
Hi there! I'm 23 years old girl :) that am studying a Double Master's in Project Management and Business Administration at Torrens University. During the week I am studding and working as a Junior Business Analyst. I love have chats with some chips and beers and enjoy lunch and dinners with everyone at home. I would like to find a place to feel like a family ! :)
I'm a first year arts/law student at UQ looking for a place to move into around July. I'm pretty quiet and respectful of personal space, but I'd love to find housemate/s who I can get along well with, and I'm always happy to talk, watch netflix and go out for coffee/ drinks :) definitely after a place that feels like a home. I'm away quite a bit due to work and uni, and I also spend a bit of time visiting my family (and animals :((( ) down near byron so I won't be in your hair too much. I work part time in the city, and i love riding my bike to work and uni and not having to rely upon brisbane public transport so proximity to both is a must. I love to cook, and a vegetarian/ vegan house would be a bonus but I'm happy to live with any friendly respectful people. I love nature and animals, so I'm happy to provide love to any pets you may have + water plants. hope to hear from you soon :)
I am not one to need company constantly, and I respect other’s personal space and time. Being a student My focus is study then spending time outdoors - and am always up to try something different vs the usual walk or bike along the river. Love animals, and am by no means antisocial- I will jump at the chance to meet new people.
I (Richard, English), am currently on my first work and travel visa with my girlfriend (Szandra, Hungarian). We love the outdoors and the ocean, travel and adventure and that's the main reason we have come to Australia but we're looking for a place in Brisbane to call home for a while. we've lived with people before and (I hope) have crack the perfect balance of privacy and friendliness. we like to be friends with the people were living with but understand that everyone needs their own space too. clean, (Szandra cannot even look at a speck of dust without cleaning it) organised, quiet and always up for a chat, or to head out for some fun (be that the same sushi place 4 times in a row or an unexplored canyon in the wilderness). We love to cook, and if you do too we love to learn to cook other things. Personally I am a huge Rugby fan (Union over league but i think that might change soon) and love to watch and play. Szandra is a massive foodie and animal lover. Thank you for reading all that about us and, I'll thank you in advance for an opportunity to be flatmates.
Hi! I am a 20 year old female coming to Brisbane from Canada. I will be studying at UQ. I am very independent and relaxed though love meeting new people and having a good time. I love the beach and am such a foodie! On my spare time, you can find me hiking or practicing yoga. It is super important for me to be friends with my flatmates so if you're chill, fun and love exploring msg me!
G'day flatmate, I'm Lena, a 20 year old Biotechnology student from Berlin. In order to finish my degree at the Technical University of Berlin I will be staying in Brisbane for at least 6 months in the means of my internship at the UQ. I am curently searching for acommodation from around July 28th till the end of January 2019 near the UQ. I am a great flatmate who cleans up after herself and pays bills on time. Living in a shared flat in Berlin I know what it takes to keep up a harmonic and cheerful atmosphere, yet giving each flatmate his or her personal space. I love spending time with friends, cooking, hiking, reading and the challenge of trying new things and making new experiences. I'm sure it will be a great time living together! :)
I'm Bree, I'm 24 years old, originally from Victoria but I'm moving to Brisbane to study a Master of Conservation Biology at UQ. I'm a bubbly, easy going and clean person who enjoys a glass of wine and hanging out with my housemates after uni finishes for the day. Interested in meeting and living with like-minded people from any gender and background.
Hey my name is Donald. I am at 21yo marketing student at UQ. I am a tidy, reliable guy looking for a place in or around Toowong. My hobbies include going to the gym, movies and hanging out with mates. If you think I'd be a great housemate just send me a message. Cheers.
Hello, Keen for a housemate team up. I'm a 26 year old Australian. I'm the kind of housemate that values downtime but I love to chat and I love to meet new people as they come. I will probably however spend most of my time researching in depth analysis on things that don't even get me a point on the board on trivia night. I like going to the gym and trying to kick goals with my career but the key work is trying. I hate cooking, so I won't be in there much. I try to speed cook once a week so I don't have to go in there again for another week. I work full time and then some. My favorite part of renting a new property is putting a "return to sender" on all the strangers mail that comes to the property and slowly watching the number of letters addressed to strangers reduce. I have a chocolate Labrador. She's a good dog and I'm lucky to have her. She's an outside dog while i'm out but I bring her inside to sleep at night. She sits, stays, judges me and all the basics. I'm thinking somewhere to rent like Annerley or Toowong and surrounding suburbs? Because those areas have great cycle paths. I'm thinking a two or three bedroom house and we can get in a third person in at a later date. Keen to meet for a quick coffee and hear your ideas on where you'd like to live.
Hello I’m Steph! I work in admin full time at the Valley, Saturday-Wednesday. I’m friendly, enjoy my downtime, and usually I’ll be out somewhere on my two days off. I have a border collie, Harry, who loves everyone and everything. He is the biggest sweetheart, and if you throw a ball to him he will be your best friend. I’m looking for a genuine, respectful household who doesn’t mind having a pet or some sneaky bevy’s at night!
My name is Joss, I am a 27 year old and I have just sold my first house. I have been living here in Bardon for 5 years... I love being close to the city but still having the neighbourhood feeling. I work full time in solar energy during the week so I'm always out and about and busy during the week and I like to relax and play music or hang out with friends on weekends. On Thursdays I play an acoustic set at the YHA Pub and sometimes I spend some time on the Sunshine Coast. My flat mate Reece is great to live with.. out of all the flat mates I have had over the last 5 years I know how hard it is to find clean professional flat mates so I am happy to give him a good reference and live with him again. Reece works full time and is also studying so he is quite busy but also likes to chill out and be a little social over the weekend.
Hi I am a student from Switzerland and I am conducting my master's thesis in environmental engineering at UQ. I am looking for a shared flat with easy going people who are down to hang out and have a couple beers on the weekend. In my free time I enjoy skateboarding, hiking, camping, city trips, photography, and many other things. I will be staying in Brisbane until early october. If you are interested hit me up with a text
Hello, My name is Ned and I moved here from Canada just over a year ago to study at university. I am resposible, tidy and reliable. I am currently looking for a place to live for 4 months from July 8th to the end of October; after which time I will return to Canada for the uni break. Please contact me if your place fits my criteria and time frame. Thanks, Ned
Full time software engineer at uq. I cycle to work everyday and enjoy being social, active, eating way too much, and board games. Fairly quiet and often away traveling. Will fix computers and clean bathrooms/toilets. Will provide free homebrew kombucha. The only things I'm really looking for are friendly housemates, a large room and good access to bikeways.
Hi there :) After a few years of living on my own, I'm missing the social aspect of sharing a house and am looking for some like-minded people to find a place with. I prefer sharing a house instead of unit. I'm easy going and respectful of people and their space. I like to have a chat over glass of wine or chill out and watch some trashy TV. I have a gorgeous cat named Alfie (everyone that meets him falls in love!) and my only requirement is for the house to be off any main roads to keep him safe, and obviously allow pets on the lease. I've tried but unfortunately he cannot live with dogs. I have all major appliances and furniture, flexible with the move-in dates (I'm on a periodic lease) and am happy to consider housemates of any gender, age, sexual orientation or nationality.
I'm a full-time Naturopathy student, I have a small dog and two cats. Looking to move closer to uni (either Gold Coast or Brisbane campus). I'm a very warm, friendly, and easy-going person. I spend most of my time studying, but when I have free time I love to spend time with friends, do yoga, read books, garden, have a nice bath, cook lovely meals, all that sort of stuff. I'm vegan, LGBTQIA+ friendly, a very open-minded person. Don't enjoy conflict, very easy to get along with. Hoping to find some people to live with who just want a nice homely place to live in peace together with.
I'm 3rd yr student studying Nutrition & Exercise Science at The University of Queensland. I'm easy going, clean, respectfull. I know the importance of uni - chill time balance, and dealing with the roller-coaster ride that uni can be. Study is important for me, but so is staying healthy and socialising over movies/ delightful beverages (wine, cider, smoothies, tea) I'm looking for a room in a share house/ apartment, and willing to team up with like-minded people to organise this. Move in by 11 July preferably, good location for public transport, and under $200 pw (bills inclusive)
