Hi all! I'm Eden, a 21y/o nursing student at UQ. I've lived in sharehouses for two years now and have never been late with rent or bills. I'm always keen to help out around the place and like to keep things tidy and presentable. I'm pretty social and love a good chat, however also appreciate some time to chill out. I get along with pretty much everyone and am very easy-going and relaxed, but also well-organised and respectful. Generally I'm either studying, at uni, or with friends, and I like to focus on eating healthy and working out whenever possible but also can't say no to the occasional splurge on a night out. I'm a huge fan of indoor plants and would love to live in a vibey home with like-minded people. My main focus is finding the right place with the right housemates - I'm aiming to find somewhere I can relax, have fun, and call my home. Some things I'm looking for: - cheap rent - ceiling fans - built-in wardrobes - decent sized room - off-street parking (I recently bought my first car and am trying to keep her safe) - maximum 4 housemates I'm interested in both rooms in existing sharehouses and teamups, preferably with at least one or two other girls. Hit me up if you reckon I'd be a good addition to your house, or if you want to know anything else about me!
I am currently a sophomore International Relations student from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, likes to exercise and open to any kind of knowledge and adventures! I'll start my exchange program at UQ in Fall Semester 2019, and I am very flexible when it comes to lifestyles as I am also currently away from home and I love to travel. All I am looking for is safety, other than that I am very open to live with people no matter where they come from or who they identify themselves as.
Hi! I’m 19 years old and studying a diploma of community services at tafe and work on a casual basis. I’m pretty quiet and keep to myself but am always up for a chat :) I’m very clean and respectful of everyone’s personal space and easy to get along with
I moved to Brisbane only eight months ago. I am full time student and I enjoy cooking and making Ethiopian coffee very much. I am pretty much an in door person, fun , easy going and tidy. I am looking for a laid back LGBTIQ friendly place to call home for the next couple of years.
Full-time QUT student working part-time. I'm a respectful and tidy person with sharehouse experience looking to find a place with sociable housemates and a friendly atmosphere. I’m a lover of wine, music and dancing.
Moving back to Brisbane from New Orleans, looking for a sharehouse to move in to for the remainder of the year - preferably furnished. I study at UQ, I would prefer to move in with other students or young professionals. I am super easy to get along with and I enjoy meeting new people. If you have specific questions feel free to ask.
Hi there! I like to think I'm a pretty easy going housemate, clean and tidy. I love getting outdoors, going to gigs, and generally trying to be fit and healthy :) Looking for a chilled out share house where I can concentrate on my studies, but can also invite friends over for occasional drinks. Living sustainably is also pretty important to me so if your house recycles / composts thats a big plus!
I'm a young professional from Brazil and I'm moving to Brisbane to develop part of my PhD research at the UQ. I'm 33 years old and although I usually work almost full time, I'm very interested in playing sports and enjoying free time with friends, specially on weekends. I'm clean, polite and a respectful person.
Not a party one. But i do think that i need a bit of it. Quiet. From Mexico, got my residency last year. I work in the morning and afternoon. Sometimes i am away for the weekends as i do look after 4 kids. Keep me pretty busy or sometimes i just hang at home watching something. Love play videogames. Like cider and wine, also beer. No much of a drinker though. Going through a break up of 4years relationship. I am shy at the beginning. I am very easygoing. Clean and tidy is a must. I dont cook. And if i cook the kitchen would be a mess. (Clean it up later of course). Respect is a must. :)
Hey! I'm moving from Adelaide to Brisbane and am looking for someone to team up with for a place. I'm 28, easy going and friendly. I'm looking for someone that's chilled, tidy and friendly. I love music, animals, travel and reading. Looking to create a comfy little oasis x https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-qld-new+farm-426268910 https://www.domain.com.au/3-17-rosary-crescent-highgate-hill-qld-4101-12985669 This is the sort of vibe I'm thinking! Half in rent, half in bond : )
My mrs is moving back down to Adelaide to be with family so my best mate (Buddy - 3 yr old kelpie/cattle dog) and I are currently renting in Camp Hill and looking for a couple people to team up with and look for a place about 3 -4 people round end of May/start of June. I'm pretty flexible on suburb as long as there's a park, beach or forest nearby then I don't mind too much where we end up. Would be looking for a fully fenced property with a decent sized backyard with shelter for Buddy and room to park my motorbike under cover and some tools. I have furniture as well but could sell it or put in storage if needed. Looking for people who will treat Bud just like I would when i'm not home. Buddy's very friendly, well trained and he's incredibly smart. Take him on a walk and he'll be your best mate forever. I try to run/walk with him once in the morning and that keeps him chill for the rest of the day. I love the beach/ocean so most of the time that's where i'll try get to. I'm always down to have a chat over an ice cold beersie or good bottle of red but can also understand sometimes people just want to get home to some peace and quiet and can respect that too. I've been vegan/vego in the past so if you're vegan or vego I'd be mindful of that. Still enjoy a good steak and chips though. I'm a pretty chill guy so i'm flexible with most things. I used to work as a diver and also on commercial ships as a Captain/engineer so am a bit of a handy man and useful around the house. I'm very tidy/organised and now work in international shipping operations and logistics. Keeps me pretty busy but in my down time between ships and most weekends I'll be either out on an adventure with Bud or at a craft brewery. If i'm not out I'll be having a beer at home or Netflixin/on the Playstation. Anyway if you're an open minded, laid back, dog person who enjoys being outdoors, good tunes and doesn't mind a drink and a good chat then we'd probably get along. Say G'day if your interested
My name is Clancy and I'm a university student doing a double degree in Education and French Literature. I work in hospitality to help with my studies. I am moving with my partner Brayden, and we are both a clean and studious couple, who love being friendly and sociable.
Hey guys, I've just arrived from Sydney and looking for a furnished room in a sharehouse. Im currently working 30 hours a week in hospitality while I look for something in my usual field of construction. My hours are kind of strange - Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights until the early mornings. During my Sunday-Wednesday downtime, often I'll go down to the Coast or to Byron and stay with friends/relatives for a night or two. Otherwise, you'll find me attempting to cook, reading, trying to learn Spanish, playing guitar (poorly but quietly), planning my next holiday, having a drink with friends, or just wasting time on the internet. I'm very easy going. I won't host parties but don't mind at all if you do.. Basically I'm hoping for someone relatively chilled and easy going! Also somewhere to park my ute.. Looking to move in mid May. Cheers!
We're two gals who are looking for a third person to move into a place toward the end of April/beginning May. We're both in our early 20's, and one of us is a student studying at UQ (both of us working as well). We're pretty easy going and can enjoy a good netflix binge but also don't mind getting a lil down and dirty some nights. Ideally we're looking for someone we can be friends with but will also respect the fact that sometimes we'll want to retreat into our room and have some quiet time. One of us is vegan, and the other is vegetarian and we'd love if our other roomie could have a similar diet, but we're obviously not opposed to living with a meat eater as long as you're respectful toward our choices (and vice versa of course). Preferably looking at places around Annerley, Greenslopes, Coorparoo, West End, Highgate Hill, Dutton Park , Paddington, Auchenflower, Toowong, Indooroopilly, St Lucia (basically anywhere close enough to the city/UQ so that it isn't a mission and a half to get to places) Would prefer to be paying 150-165 p/w but willing to go to 175 (but not really)
Hello, hello, I’m Khiarna! Currently 19. I am in the middle of my second gap year (sorry, mum) and looking to go back to study my bachelor of physiotherapy in 2020. I am therefore looking to move closer into the city, as I don’t fancy 3+ hours of public transport a day. About me personally, I am pretty quiet and chill. I am quite shy so might take a bit to get used to a new environment. I like to keep to myself but I would love flatmates who are open to engaging and becoming friends as well, as I don’t think I could handle the nerves of never chatting. I love sport; tennis and cricket, but NRL is my main. During the season, I watch every game (just a heads up). I love animals, dogs preferably, so I am definitely dog friendly. I do however love my family, and will probably miss them a tonne. So most weekends I will probably be back at home visiting the fam. Negatives: Due to physio having so much contact time, and looking at moving, I have resigned my job. Therefore I will be a student on Centrelink payments as well as my own savings. I will be actively looking for a part time job, however, I can’t say how long it will be till I get one. I would love an apartment/house with between one to three roommates, 1-2 being ideal. I can afford approximately $200 a week (could stretch if need be, but not ideal). Stretching up to about $220 if bills inclusive and there’s a gym 😜 Searching for somewhere for about $180- if at all possible. Sorry for the novel, but I prefer to be out there and honest from the start. Please don’t hesitate to ask me anything else you may want to know :) Cheers
Hi there, a little bit about me: I tend to be quiet at all times and respect others privacy, although I don't mind being social at all. Nowadays, I am studying an apprenticeship to become a mechanic. I am working in logistics at the moment. My job is to empower people when they require to build events. I can do this because I am a marquee building specialist. I look for a quiet place where to relax and have a great sleep after work/class. I work mostly during days with the occasional early start or late night hours. I am a non-drinker (very rarely) and a non-smoker (prefer to live in a smoke-free house). In my free time, I usually read a book, go to meet friends and/or do some sort of exercise. Lately, I have been investing my time practicing yoga, Jiu-jitsu or running. One important detail is that I prefer houses that have dogs instead of cats as pets. Please, feel free to message me if you have a good room to rent. Jorge
I am a really easy going person, I enjoy having conversations, but am also aware of personal space. I work full time and enjoy a glass of wine and cooking. Most days off I would be out and about. I am ready to move asap.
