I've learnt to cook and clean for myself and to be of help around the house when asked. I'm in my final year of Uni (Bachelor of IT) so I'm close to having my part-time job turning full-time for me. I don't drink or smoke. My hobbies include video games, dungeons and dragons, and PC building.
Hello future housemate/s! Pleased to meet you! Come in, sit down and let me introduce you to both myself and Mr Domino. We are soon to be refugees as I have just sold my house on the Gold Coast and we're in limbo until I find the perfect new abode to purchase in either Brisbane or Gold Coast (this must be what it's like for women searching for the perfect pair of shoes - you now have my empathy). I'm looking for another renovation project, if your aunt or next-door neighbour's best friend's boyfriend knows of one, please feel free to let me know. Facts about me: - 58% Introvert, 40% Extrovert and 2% Alien. - Fluent Sarcasm is my native tongue, being serious is being boring. - Thrive on daily barbaric and crude banter, if you're not laughing, you may as well be dead. - Often referred to as living like a gypsy in a hospital, few belongings and excessively clean. I all but own shares in Aldi surface wipes and IKEA lint-rollers. - Will avoid pubs, nightclubs, etc. like the plague, there's more to life than being inebriated. - Posess a large collection of colognes. Will not leave the bedroom without smelling like David Jones' cosmetics section. The world needs more delicious smelling people. - Partial to flipping pages, not channels. Quite fond of documentaries and thought-provoking movies. - Afficianado of picking weights up and putting them back down on a daily basis - foregoing the ego. FAQ's So, Zeph, what do you do with your time? - Having worked in the coal mines for years, I'm now two years into a well-deserved sabbatical. Now focussing my efforts towards property again. Zeph, what do you like to do for fun? - Waking up each day with a clean slate is pretty fun - highly recommend it. Quite spontaneous in my demeanour, I will find joy in an array of things. Whether it's falling out of a perfectly good plane or reading self-improvement books whilst I apricate on the beach - I'm happy. Facts about Domino: - THE most awesome, placid and sweet natured dog there is - try not to steal him upon meeting him, I challenge you. - Will pull some impressive tricks, especially if the instructing human is offering an irresistible treat, or is an attractive female (my fault, he copied me). - Can play soccer better than any soccer team in the Southern Hemisphere (I can prove it). - Has an IQ that's higher than most humans I've encountered, never misses a trick. - Loves cuddles and lots of affection, I may be the softest Border Collie owner you'll ever meet. He has never been smacked/hit/abused in his life and it will remain that way. - Has barked a grand total of six times in his life, not sure why he even has a voice box. I secretly think he's a cat disguised as a dog. So, I am looking to rent a room, studio, part of a house, a tent, kitchen cupboard, a spare nook or cranny - so long as I can bring my toilet trained, heartthrob, handsome Domino with me. I am open to living anywhere south of Surfers Paradise or pretty much anywhere in Brisbane - send me a message if you think we tick the boxes for you, I'm flexible. With any luck, you're still awake after reading all of that. If so, thank you for your time! :)
QUT Student, looking to move into a house with cool flatmates just after Christmas. Friendly, outgoing , fairly tidy and terrible at cooking. Look for long term accommodation
Hey guys, we're a couple from germany on a working holiday. We want to stay in Brisbane until christmas. We are both working at a car wash in Toowong and would like to find a room as close as possible. We like to socialise with others, but also respect and like to have some alone time. We're friendly, keep our place tidy and clean and are fun to live with for sure!
I'm on exchange from the US studying at UQ for a year, but my lease runs out this summer so I need a new place to stay for another 6 months! Things I enjoy include: swimming, bikes, wine, cooking, doing my dishes, paying rent on time, and also chocolate. Would love to meet some new flatmates as my current one is moving away :( I can move at any time but would prefer early Jan as I will be traveling and won't return until then. Please don't hesitate to contact me! :)
Hey, My name is Anh, I'm an international student looking to move out of my current place at the end of this year. I have been in Australia for 7 years (5 in Brisbane). I finished my science degree with an Honours last year and I am completing my diploma in teaching at the end of this year. I will start to look for jobs/ do some travelling next year but still want a nice place to stay. I'm an introvert, tidy and quiet but I do enjoy cooking and baking for friends and people around. Food adventures and dining out are absolutely welcome. I am a foodie at heart, considering the fact that I chose Food Technology as a career path. Besides, I like to have things in order and clean my house frequently. I enjoy having a drink and chill out watching TV. I read and play terrible piano too. If you are looking for good Vietnamese food, look no further and contact me :)
I'm an international student from the UK on exchange at UQ. I'm currently living in West End and am looking for somewhere smaller to live (i'm living in a v.big house atm). I'll be moving out soonish but I'm going travelling for a bit - I'll be back in Bris around the 12th Jan and may be off again, so I'm not sure on what exact dates I want to move just yet - around the 12th or end of Jan. I looove cleanliness so clean people are a must (trust me - my current house has 28 people in and the mess is so annoying!). I enjoy a night out but as I'm coming to learn I love a good night-in, with a bottle of wine and good company. Not really too good at describing myself, but I love meeting new people and definitely want to live somewhere sweeeeet :) but as cheap as possible :)) lovvvee animals espc cats hehe im a light smoker yus but always outside (ofc) and im really hoping to try quit vvvv.soon xoxo
Hey there :) My friends and I are all doing undergrads at UQ. We're social people who also appreciate some quiet, alone time! I'm Clarice, from Mozambique and Nonto and Sneha are from Zimbabwe and India, respectively.
Hey! My name is Sebastian and I recently graduated from an undergrad degree which I was doing on the Gold Coast. I will be back in Australia on the first week of February for my masters coursework and I am looking for a room or a teamup for a new property in Brisbane. Will probably be working part-time as well. I love have people around me to do activities with, but also enjoy having my private space to relax so as a roommate I would be up for house meals and trips as well as just relaxing home. I love being outdoors, specially on the beach and in the water. If not you will find me playing volleyball! I'm clean and will look after myself and the place as well. I have no problem getting along with people, enjoy talking to anyone. Let me know if you have a place I could take up in your property or if you would like to start a teamup!
Hey the names Dave I'm 24 and from Ireland. I moved to Brisbane in February and am currently a few weeks away from finishing my farm work for my 2nd year visa so am living out west at present. I plan on travelling for the month of December and coming back to Brisbane towards the start of the new year and am looking for accommodation. I'm very friendly, easy going and good for a conversation. I would like to move to a social household who work during the week but enjoy the weekends. Things I like doing in my spare time would be going to the beach, having drinks with friends and going on weekend trips! I'm clean, reliable with rent and respect others property and privacy as well. That's myself on the right in the pic by the way! :) I'm pretty open as to where I live when I move back to Brisbane once it's within a reasonable commute to the city :) If I sound like I'd be a good fit for your place don't hesitate to give me a message and we can go from there! :) Cheers!
I'm working full time and need to move out ASAP somewhere close to or within the CBD. I'm currently a bartender and will be studying next year. Really easy to get along with, very clean, enjoy good company but also like my own space from time to time. My shifts usually finish around 2-3am so I'm usually waking up at 10am on most days, which may be an issue! :)
I am looking for one housemate to join me in a new lease in a unit in Greenslopes/ Coorparoo. I would be looking to have the master room with the trade off of the car space/ garage for you and the fact I will provide furniture for shared areas including whitegoods. Ideally the unit will be 2 bath so we each have our own space. I am looking for someone similar in age with an interest in health/ fitness, clean and respectful and someone I can be friends with. I like to have a chat but also really like my own space (introvert right here!). My top interests are - gym (especially body combat) - cooking and baking healthy food - music including playing my piano - puppies (sadly don't have one) - picnics, the beach and Sunday markets Send me a message if you think we sound like we'd be compatible :) Kristy x
Need someone to rent your student accommodation over Summer? I am a college student who is looking for accommodation in Brisbane over the Summer break so I can continue working. I am an easy going person, who appreciates my own space and would be a considerate person to live with but would be happy to share a room. Please contact me if you think we could make a deal! Thank you, Lucy
Looking for one more person to team up with a girl and I. We are super friendly and outgoing and love a beverage or 10. Super sociable and I get alone with people very well! I will be working and studying full time so the house will be mostly quiet during the week :)
A little about myself - Im 21 yrs old and work full time as a boilermaker. I enjoy travelling, making music, learning new things and the beach. I like to live in a clean environment and like to have a chat every now and then. I own a house in another town that I'm renting out so understand what is expected of tenant living in someone else's place.
Hello! I'll be moving out to UQ in February 2017, on my final year to study Computer Science. Looking for possible flatmate(s) that are amazing, outgoing and fun to live with. While not writing lines of code, I travel to places across the globe and wrote it on my blog. I am preferably looking for a private bedroom with shared/private bathroom. Mixed/all-female gender house.
I am an easy going young working professional. I work in the fitness industry as a health club manager. I am clean, tidy and respectful of others. I am actually a New Zealander and will be coming up two years in Brisbane soon. I enjoy exercise, sport, socializing, gaming and having a drink on the weekend. I'm an easy going guy who can go with the flow... so either have a chat or keep to myself I really don't mind. Get in touch if I sound like a flatmate you would like and i will do my best to respond asap. Look forward to hearing from you.
Moving down to Brisbane to study at UQ and will be working part-time. I'm easy to get along with and often you'll find me couped up in my room watching Netflix. I'm always down for eating nachos and having a cider or two on a night binge watching shows. I like to be organised and have a love for stationary so notepads will be all over the place. Also I'm pretty good at making pasta! If you think I'd be a good fit for a Team Up then send me message, hope to hear from you!
Hey I have a dog Nahla who loves walks, runs and laying about. I am looking for a place that has a yard for her and with people that are good with dogs and easy going. I am respectful, clean and reliable. Easy to get along with and tolerant of all kinds of people. I study at UQ part time and am currently staying and working in Gympie with family, I am originally from Brisbane and have jobs lined up for when I have a place. Also, I have my own furniture although don't have to bring everything/can bring things that may be needed. Basically I am looking for an empty room and if there is anything the house needs I could help (fridge/washing machine)
I am clean and tidy, quiet, and very easygoing. I've been sharing houses with diverse nationalities and age groups. So I have enough experience to share a flat with and respect others privacy.
I am an American who just accepted a post-doc position at UQ! I am looking for housing around UQ starting in late May 2017. I am interested in renting my own bedroom in a property with roommates in order to save money on accommodation and meet new people. I will be working full time, so I need a place that is close to work and near public transport. I am easy going, clean, and I enjoy reading, the outdoors, arts and crafty, and good food. I hope to find roommates to are older and also work full time. Please feel free to message if you have any questions!
Hey there, I'm a full time Postgrad UQ student. Looking for a flatmate to live with from beginning of January near St lucia/nearby suburbs. I'm an easy going person, quiet and considerate. My partying days are behind me but I do enjoy the occasional weekend wine! I'm cooperating and would love to cook some indian food together sometime! I respect my own space and would be mostly at uni.
Looking for a new nice and clean apartment (preferably close to city). $200-$260 a week. Looking to stay 2 months - 6 months. Respectful. Friendly. Clean. Tidy. Minimalist. Ideally looking for similar flatmates. Enjoy a few drinks every now and then. I go out to eat a lot. Full-time government worker. Investor/Trader. UQ alumni.
Looking for a fun new roommate? Look no further than this 21 year old nursing student! I'm relaxed, friendly, clean and always up for a good time; whether that mean a good night out or staying in with the fam watching crappy tv, its all a good time! I'm coming into my last year of university, work part-time and play a sport at least once a week. While I love and respect privacy, I am always ready for late night chats and dnms :)
My name is Amy, Im 24 years old (soon to be 25) and living on my own in New Farm. I've just been accepted back into Uni in 2017 at UQ and start an intensive course over Nov/Dec this year. I'm a non smoker and my partying days are well behind me. However I do enjoy the occasional weekend wine! I live a pretty active lifestyle so when I'm not at home I'm working, at the gym or at the beach. I have a fully housetrained 8 month old kitten. She's really mellow, generally keeps to herself, but is always up for a good cuddle and loves everyone. I've never had any issues with her being an indoor cat. I'm looking to move before the 14th Nov as my course starts on the 22nd. Im hoping to find someone who wants to team up and sign a new lease together so if this sounds like you, lets team up :)
I'm an easy going employed 29yr old, looking for an easy going flatmate. I'm a sharer and a carer, but not one to be taken advantage of. Always happy to help out, so long as it can one day be returned. I like to be able to have a chat, but appreciates my own space as well. I like a place that keeps clean and tidy...but am by far a clean freak. Preferably, I'd like to just share house with 1 or 2 other flatmates max. Would also be up to renting a granny flat or 1bed apartment, if anything is available.
I am currently doing masters at UQ. I am friendly person and like to meet new people. I am looking to live with a female who is probably working or studying at uni, masters or phd. I need cleanliness always. I cleanup after my work is done. I do not like mess. I would always love to divide the work of cleaning. I would prefer flats or apartments in buildings having nice river view or city view.
Easy going, friendly, tidy, not a dickhead. Isn't that what we all want in a housemate? 25 years old, studying a Bachelor of Media and Communication, working casually outdoors. Flexible in where I'm living in Brisbane, but Northside is preferable.
We are a couple in our mid-twenties working full time and studying. Pete works as a compliance officer for the Qld Gov and Reece is studying graphic design and animation at QUT. We have gorgeous and very affectionate whippet pup named Bolt, who will also be coming along for the ride. We are looking for one or more housemates to team up with and live in either a house, apartment or townhouse. We have couches, a TV, internet and Netflix subscriptions, a fridge and washing machine to bring along. We are both super friendly, easy-going and love a celebration when one is called for. We are equally as hard-working and sensible when we need to be. On weekends, we like to head to the local markets, get outdoors (hikes and kayaking) or head down to the Gold Coast to visit family and friends. We would like to live with someone who shares the same mindset as us; who can contribute to the household and get along with the banter, but also respect down-time. Ideally, we would like to live with other mature students or professionals. Oh, and you must love dogs!
Hi there! I'm Korii and I'm a 26 year old female currently living in Perth. However I will be moving to Brisbane at the end of November for a new job, which I am super excited about! However this means I am now on the hunt for a place to live. :) I am very friendly, laid back and pretty respectful of people's need for space/privacy. I love good banter and bad jokes. :P As I work full time, I like to keep busy in the weekends - heading outside, keeping active, visiting and exploring new places and trying new things. I'm a huge sports fanatic - love my rugby union in particular. I'm also hoping to check out the Muay Thai/Kickboxing scene when I get to Brizzy. Would love to live with others who are like-minded, somewhat mature (but still likes to have a good time every now and then!), respectful and friendly. Definitely don't mind sharing a meal or two every now and then either - I find cooking a great way to relax over the weekends. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)

Need to be close to public transport, ideally a train station. I don't have any pets, don't smoke and go out if I want to party. Not in a hurry to find something but flexible with timing. If there is anything you want to know, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Hello! My name's Aleysha. :) I'm 21 years old and currently studying a Bachelor of Social Work at UQ. I'm in my final semester and will be graduating in December! At the moment I am living in my hometown of Mackay. I have been living up here since July this year. Before moving back up to Mackay I was living in Brisbane. My only reason for moving back up to Mackay was because of my university placement, which I will hopefully finish on the 11th of November! I'm aiming to move back down to Brisbane in November. I'm interested in living in a share house with some people for a few months, maybe even more. :) There is a possibility that I might end up moving into a place with a couple of friends next year (they won't be in Brisbane during summer semester), but I am uncertain about whether this will still be happening. I would like to think I am a friendly person. I enjoy meeting and getting to know new people, I like to be tidy and I can be quite reserved but I do enjoy going out and having drinks with friends every now and then! :)
Originally from WA, I have lived in Perth, Sydney and most recently France - where I have been running a B&B. When on Australian soil, I work in communications and campaigns for non-profits. I'll be in Brisbane from 10 NOV 2016, taking up a job with an environmental NGO, and I'll also being studying a Masters part-time at UQ. I enjoy cooking, travelling and politics. If you like Great British Bake Off, dinner debates or watching Insiders on a Sunday morning, this is a good sign we're going to get along.
Looking at creating a home, not a house. I want to make somewhere an inviting place where we both feel comfortable. Can share a glass of wine, but respect eachothers space. Looking for a two bedroom place preferably, with two bathrooms. I have a lot of furniture and can set up a whole place neatly with some style. Little bit about me: I'm humble, social but like solitude when I come home from work (I work in Administration and study Occupational Therapy) and love my coffee. I have a time limit and would like to get arrangements under way as soon as possible so I can find a beautiful home ☺️ Regards and hopefully speak soon, Amber
I am in my late 20s and have recently graduated. I like to keep it to myself most of the times and also respect others privacy, but that certainly doesn't mean that I am not up for a chat sometimes. A non smoker, not quite a party person and yes, NOT pet friendly either. I like to keep the house clean but not too finicky, so a relaxed person to stay with. I like to cook and happy to share the food(eat at your own risk though :D). Looking for a place to share with no more than two people.
27 year-old student at UQ searching for housemates around my age to live with who are fun, independent and socially like-minded. Despite also working, I'm always up for being social on weekends. I like to run, head on a roadtrip out bush, great at cooking, am a surf lifesaver, takes dance classes and despite being well-travelled to places like the US - have amazing stories to tell. Look forward to hearing from you!

Will be working full/part time in the New year in Childcare centre. Im a social and easy going individual. Love to have a beer or wine at the end of the day. I like to get to know everyone but also enjoy time to myself. Im only looking for 3ish months at the moment as I have a friend moving here in April but if an extra rooms open up around the time she comes she would be happy to move in too. **I'm looking at places that are available in December so please do not message me otherwise** I'm a UQ law graduate who is working full-time. I am easygoing and enjoy some chats from time to time. As I have a busy lifestyle, I prefer time to myself to relax after work. I care a lot about maintaining a quiet household and environment. I prefer a place with more storage space, preferably a large inbuilt cupboard in my room. I also prefer for the room to be on the ground floor. I play the piano, paint and publish poems occasionally. I used to be a competitive judo player and join trainings in UQ occasionally. Other times, I enjoy yoga and a bit of stretching. I love cats but do not own one. I'm quite allergic so I prefer a place that is quite clean and free from dust. Wrt household chores, I clean as I go. I've lived with housemates who are extremely clean and I adapt well to people with different habits, so long as they are responsible and generally clean. My move-in date is flexible. I prefer to find a stable and long-term accommodation. I'd like to have rental agreements and inspections done according to RTA standards - bond to be lodged with the RTA, inspection checklist to be done upon moving in, etc.
I’m a kiwi looking for a relaxed place with people who are friendly, sociable and keen to chill with a beer after work on occasion. Not looking for a party house. I’m friendly and respectful and get along with most people. I’m relatively tidy and I like things to be pretty clean. I enjoy travelling, gardening (pots or ground) and am happy to live with pets. Looking for somewhere with good transport/walking distance to UQ as I have a research job there. Cheers Daisy
Clean & tidy, secure monthly income so reliable with bills. Don't mind getting in and doing things around the house, mowing, gardening etc. Enjoy cooking, sharing a meal and social drink, I love to have a chat, also do like my own space at times and are respectful of other people's space. I come with my beautiful 7yr female Kelpie X named Jess. She is a great guard dog, but not a yapper. Super smart with a friendly infectious personality. Jess, loves a good belly rub, will retrieve almost anything you throw for her, is well trained in and outside the house. We occasionally have a visitor or two, mostly if I am not out running or walking with Jess or visiting friends generally You will find me watching The Walking Dead on Foxtel, or movies, music videos via Chromecast.. The Foxtel will be coming with me and would be happy to consider making it available in the main living area as well as my room. I am pretty easy going, not much phases me. Always happy to lend an ear or advice if asked. Hoping to find like minded people for Jess and I to share with.
