I am an easy going working professional who studies at QUT and works full-time at one of the big 4 accounting firms. I am quiet social and love to hangout for a beer or two(obviously on the weekends).I am a non smoker but don't mind if someone else does. I usually prefer being organised on weekends to get going during the weekdays, i am good for daily chores and love a clean and hygienic place.
Full-time QUT student working part-time. I'm a respectful and tidy person with sharehouse experience looking to find a place with sociable housemates and a friendly atmosphere. I’m a lover of wine, music and dancing.
I'm a pretty cool science nerd and will be a student at UQ in Feb 2019. I'm looking for an affordable place to stay. I'll be spending most of my time at school therefore I'm quite flexible with the living conditions.
Hi, I'm Steven, I'm a male, 36 years old, double degree holder with entrepreneurial ambitions, working on my web-development portfolio, and working casually as a gardener. I thrive in a sharehouse environment because I am always pleasant, have a quirky sense humor, and I am respectful of peoples’ boundaries. I am searching for a place with friendly housemates, reliable Wi-Fi, and public transport access to Kenmore, the Cty, and Gold Coast. Bonus points if there is a comfortable outdoor smoking area. I had arrangements to move elsewhere but they fell through, so I am looking for a place asap, preferably for long term (6+ months). I can get a bond loan, if I am going on the lease, otherwise I will find it difficult to pay the full bond upfront. Let me know if there’s a way I can make it work!
I study media and communications full-time at QUT Kelvin Grove and sometimes work as a casual AV technician setting up corporate events. Sharing a place is more comfortable when people are prepared to communicate, and actively listen if any issues arise. I've lived in many share houses and I know how to tidy up after myself, the importance of a friendly chat and when to give others some space. I've got my own bedroom furniture and need space for a queen bed, study desk and other bits and pieces. Some storage space would be a bonus. I like to cook at home as often as possible, ideally in a vegetarian household, but this isn't always possible. Practising music at home is important to me and I'm respectful of noise levels. I like watching the news, current affairs, documentaries, and on-line TV series (Love The Handmaid's Tale/ Counterpart / Deep State / The Orville ) which I'm happy to do in my room or with others. I like to attend live music jams, swim, do yoga in the park and meditate at home on a regular basis.
I'll be studying Speech Pathology at UQ. I'm looking to move in mid Jan What I'm looking for: - Ideally, I'd like to team up and find a new place - Maybe 2-3 roommates max - Somewhere very close to UQ St. Lucia, 3-5 min walk away is best - My own bedroom and my own toilet (not mandatory ahaha) - I want a home I can consider staying long term, and for that I'd need great roommates so I hope I can find good people here :) Some things about me: - I'd like to think of myself as both an outgoing and easygoing person 🤗 - Definitely not one to cause a mess and appreciates silence (to study), cleanliness and nice décor (ahahahoops) - I'm quite picky about cleanliness and absolutely refuse to clean up other people's trash so I'd appreciate a roommate who will do the same - I'd definitely be open to hang out during weekends and free time haha - I use the kitchen almost everyday, and always clean up right after. - I'm a bit of an introvert though so I appreciate alone time too - I enjoy music and arts. I'm a bit of an old soul sometimes, I love rnb and jazz - I occasionally am open to outdoor activities too, would love to hang out and bake or cook together! - I'm from Singapore :)
I’m a clean guy that likes to socialise but also likes my alone time. I’m looking for a bedroom to rent short term but if it works out I would be keen to stick around. I have furniture of my own but I could put it in storage if the place is already furnished. If you think I could be suitable send me a message and I can give you more details about myself
heyo, my name is esther, I'm 22 and looking for a big room\downstairs floor\granny flat to rent for 6 or 12 months. I'm a baker studying phlebotomy so you're guaranteed free bakery snacks regularly. I am big on beers & board game nights. (I collect board games and make a valuable team member.) I've only been in bne for 2 years and want to explore some new areas
Heya, I’m a bubbly and outgoing person who’s always up to have a friendly chat. I am also a clean and tidy (bit of a neat freak actually) and is fully capable to cook for myself or others. I really enjoy my own time but are also looking for roommates who would like to be friends and occasionally be keen to have a drink once in a while. I recently moved to Brisbane for uni from a small beachy town, so I’m still relatively adjusting to the city life. I'm looking to move around end of Jan/ beginning of Feb, if you are looking around those dates as well then don't be afraid to hmu if interested. Only looking to share a house with 1 or 2 female roommates.
I am an interpreter who mostly works from home on the telephone - due to the nature of my work, I am looking for a place that is reasonably quiet during the day Monday to Friday. I enjoy doing group fitness classes at the gym, also learning indoor skydiving. Currently living in Sydney but looking to relocate to the Fortitude Valley, Brisbane City, South Brisbane or Toowong area. I am seeking a furnished private room in a shared house/apartment, AIR-CON is a must in the room. Looking to move in January 2019.
I currently work at Walt Disney World but am moving back to Australia to finish my degree. I love anything creative, reading, bush walking and going on little adventures. I like my own space but am also a social person. I'm looking for a place that feels like a home and has an open, spacious vibe preferably with nature views.
Hi, I'm a full-time UQ student starting my Honours next year so it would be awesome to live close to uni. I'm from Ecuador, I like to keep my home clean and tidy and I also like to bake especially oreo cheesecakes in special dates, my roomies' birthday for example :) and when I have some spare time. I would say I'm quiet but I do like to go out and dance or eat somewhere new or do anything fun.
Hi potential roomie, I am in the process of sadly exiting a LT relationship, so a little fragile but I am keen to live with someone positive and who will be a good influence on my general headspace and well being. ❤️ About me: Full time shift worker within the government sector. This involves hours all over the show from 3am starts and 2 am finishes on a rotational roster. For this, I am strictly not into the party scene or any real craziness at home, (that was in my 20’s as cabin crew). However, the odd friend for dinner is welcome. 😀 I love getting outdoors and my down time is saddling up a horse and riding, or laying by the beach. Huge animal lover of all shapes and sizes. Mostly a home body now as days off I try and relax as much as I can. Extremely clean, tidy, respectful and I like to be organised daily. I am not a fan of the messy house or people not pulling their weight as I am the more house proud type. I will have the occasional drink and chat/laugh when I can, and happy to mingle and socialise when time permits. I am a big fan of my own time though. This comes from working day in, day out with the public. All bills / rent paid on time and with priority. Looking for potentially a room or house with a good human with a mature and positive outlook. My current lease ends Feb 1st, 2019. Hit me up for a coffee and a chat for more. 🤙🏼 Cheers - Tim
Hey, I have just finished a bachelors on the GC and am about to start my post grad at UQ so am looking for a place to move to. I'm easy going, enjoy movies and a glass of wine, love good food, and am always up for a bike ride or a run. I currently work part time in a shoe store, am a bit of a science nerd, and am reliable, clean and tidy.
I’m a quiet guy who will be moving up to Brisbane from Ballarat to study a masters of clinical philosophy and working every other minute. I enjoy working out, reading and playing with my pup Ellie who is an English Staffie and house trained (we’re a package deal). I have full furnishings for a house so if we need anything I’ve got us covered. What I’m looking for is a like minded, positive group of people who have a bedroom available that doesn’t face onto a busy street and has a secure back yard for Ellie. If you have any questions, ask!
Hi I'm Aviana, I spent the first half of this year overseas and am now back in Australia studying and looking for somewhere to call home again. I'm looking for housemates who are friendly, considerate and love animals, as I come with a 6 year old KeplieX who needs a well fenced yard- 6ft because she knows how to jump. When I'm not working or swamped with assignments, I'm an outdoorsy person who loves the beach, camping and hiking, and who also dabbles in board games, music and art.
Hi, my name is Evie and I'm 19 years old. Been living in Brisbane for a year now and planning to move out from my present place to somewhere more quieter and with cheaper rent.
