Hi, I am Laura, 26 years old and from germany. I am studying biology and came to Brisbane to write my master thesis. I expect to stay around 6 months and I really looking forward to it. I am open minded and hope to meet up with some nice people who can show me australian lifestyle.
I'm a French neuroscience student in London and I'll just have the chance to go on a placement year (between 2nd and 3rd year) in Australia! I just need honest, clean and sociable people to live with really. Need to move in on the 14TH OF JANUARY and stay between 6 and 9 months. I can move in earlier or a bit later if you really are amazing haha I’m already in Brisbane so hmu!
Hey my future flatmate, i am a new comer to Brisbane, electrical engineer, independent, calm, neat, non smoker, flexible and open mind. I am addicted to coffee and maybe beer at weekend, i find happiness for outdoor activity (jogging, walking ..etc). Away from engineering, i find passion to cook, so we can share meals or to travel.
I am a clean and quiet person. I respect other people and conscientious. I can be a good company but sometime I keep myself to myself. I live in Cairns at the moment, and planning to move to Brisbane before the end of November.
My partner (French) and I (English) have just moved to brisbane from living in New Zealand for the past two years. Both of us work in hospitality, so would be out the house a lot. We're clean, tidy and respectful of others in the house.
Hi, my name's Tallulah. I'm very friendly and always up for a chat and a drink, but also enjoy my own company :) I've moved from WA this year to study marine biology at UQ, and am working in Toowong. I'd love to find a place in the Toowong/surrounding area or West End, and am happy for mixed gender or all female households. Love pets, music, the beach, movies and everything in between!
Hi to my future roommate(s) ;) I am David who is studying bachelor of physiotherapy at UQ. I have just finished my first year uni study and will continue my study next year. Because of my busy uni study, I will be at university almost every weekday. Also, I work about 3 times a week and my shifts are most likely in evening, so generally I come back after 9.30 pm. Therefore, we won't see each other that often during weekdays. I am an easy-going, clean, quiet and self-aware type of person. I prefer my roommate(s) is/are also clean and quiet because I still do some studies such as writing essays, finishing assignments when I am in my room. For my hobbies and interests, my favourite is playing the violin. I have just achieved Trinity College diploma for violin last year. As a result, I have to practice violin everyday for an hour. Sports are not my strength but I am pretty good at table tennis, swimming, basketball and footy (really bad at it but really wants to learn to be great). I also love travelling and camping, sometimes I do enjoy walking on the beach near Gold coast on Saturdays. During weekends, as I am most likely free, I am more than happy to have a chat, go clubbing or having a party with roommate(s) to prepare for another busy week of study. My last hobby would be cooking, I always buy fresh ingredients from Coles to make my own lunch and dinner. I am by no means of a good chef but I can ensure to have different dishes each week. You are very welcome to have a taste if my dishes can meet your standard. Anyway, I hope I can hear from you soon and good luck to find your desired rental room. Have a Good Day David
Hello! I am looking for a room for rent from February 2019, or someone to start a new share-house with. I am a 21 year old girl from Norway, studying Hotel Management in Bergen. I will be moving to Brisbane for one semester studying abroad at UQ. I am very clean, tidy and easy-going. I like to create a good environment and friendship with the people I live with. When I’m not studying I usually spend my time exploring new places, relaxing at home, or at the gym. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you think we could be a good match!
Hi there, I am a student from Munich and I´m going to study at the University of Queensland for one semester starting at the midth of february 2019. I´m easy to go with and definitely willing to have fun during my time in Australia. I´m doing a lot of sports and like to play music, such as the piano or the drums. Furthermore, I´m keen on getting to know new people. :) I hope to find great flatmates to live, cook, go on trips on the weekends and have fun together!
Hello! I am Ashwiniy and I am from Singapore. I will be pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Queensland starting Feb 2019. I have been staying on my own since the age of 14 when I first came to Singapore to study, (with relatives and then slowly moved out to be on my own) so I am used to being independent. I am very easygoing and adaptable to any new environment. I like to keep my place clean and tidy. (Kinda helps me to destress too haha!)
Hi Guys My name is Pat. I have lived in Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast over the past 8 years, now heading into Brissy to pursue my PhD in Psychology at UQ. I would describe myself as ambitious yet laid back. Looking for a place I can call home with people who enjoy food, a sneaky drink and a little bit of adventure. I have been a full time professional for 10 years now. My study and work load would see me leave the house at 5am most days and return around 7pm. I'm normally first out of the house and first to bed, but enjoy to socialise and share a meal. Also fairly clean, like to keep things tidy but by no means a neat freak. Interested in any of the surrounding suburbs around Brisbane city. If you would like to no more please do not hesitate to ask. Look forward to meeting you. Pat.
Hey there! I am from India and I'm going to be studying an MS in Data Science at UQ from February 2019. I believe I have a balanced personality, I am very understanding and helpful as a person which I think is so necessary when living in a shared environment .I am an outgoing person, passionate about dance and sports. In my free time I usually hit the gym or am engaged in outdoor activities. Besides, I have always been quite particular about hygiene.
Hi, my name is Alex, I am from Vienna, Austria and I am going to move to Australia at the end of January. Therefore, I am looking for a room in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Briefly about myself: I study molecular biology at the University of Vienna and I am going to work on a research project at the University of Queensland. I have been living in Vienna for five years now, although my home town is in the southern region of Austria quite close to the Italian border. I like running, swimming, hiking, traveling and hanging out with friends. I appreciate a nice meal in a witty company, and I enjoy conversations and spending time with nice people. However, I also like to spend quiet evenings on my own. I am easy going, open-minded, friendly, sociable and interested in many topics (science, technology, nature, traveling, cuisine, music, sports, arts). I am accustomed to flat sharing, plus I am neat, clean and not a gadfly. I stay in Brisbane from the end of January to the beginning of May. So, if you are interested in having me as a flatmate, I would be happy to hear from you. Cheers, Alex
I am an easy going person, love to cook, clean, tidy, and respect other people privacy. I really enjoy having conversation or small talk in the kitchen while cooking or having breakfast or dinner. I have been living in a share house for one and a half year, so quite familiar with the sharing house environment. I am doing postgraduate in UQ and now in my second year, so I am looking for a place to stay for my final semester next year. I would prefer a 6 month lease room which located in Saint Lucia (preferably in walking distance to the uni). Thank you :)
I study at the University of Queensland and have spent the past year living at UQ Residential College, Grace College. I'm a part-time student athlete looking to move out in January. I enjoy keeping fit, cooking my own food, and a hectic night out on the town when I've got the time. I'm fairly relaxed enjoy my own space, and my procrastination cleaning is always helpful. I moved down from Mackay a few years ago, so am pretty familiar with Brisbane, and am keen to move out in 2019.
