Hi! The names David, though I do cycle though a variety of nicknames! I’m hoping to be studying a degree in Education next year, and thought to put myself up here nice and early, since I’m so excited! Most important things first, I have two cats, and their names are Griffin and Spencer, and they’re my whole world. I’m looking to find some people who would be okay with the cats being an Important member of the household, and who wouldn’t mind their personalities! I’m LGBTQ+ (This means I’m not cis and I’m not straight), and quite proud of the fact! I’m genderqueer (this site only gives me options for male or female) and go by he/him. It’d be really cool to room with people like me! I don’t smoke, but I’m always up for a few drinks. I’m looking for a person, or few people, who want to hang out, and become friends. I’m an avid cook, and love trying new things! So I’m happy to cook most nights, and if you’ve got a request, I’ll be happy to give it a go! I’m mostly a clean person, but when I’m stressed I’m kinda all over the place! I love to stay up late and game with my friends, a lot of which aren’t in Australia, so I’m a night owl! I’d prefer to not share rooms, and I’d love to have enough space to fit my consoles, and a queen bed! A yard would be a huge bonus, I’m a green thumb at heart and love gardening, and I’d love to get a dog next year! I love watching movies, and if you’re really interested, but need a bit more money in the pool, I’m sure I can work something out to pay a bit more! I’m honestly looking for somewhere near either UQ or QUT, which are my preferred universities. Close to a bus stop is preferable, but these things can be worked around! Aircon is a must, and a nice kitchen is also a H U G E bonus.
LOOKING FOR HOME TO MOVE INTO IN JAN/FEB 2019. I will be looking for a home in Brisbane to move into in Jan/Feb 2019 as I begin my psychology degree at UQ at the end of February. I'm currently on the Gold Coast. Looking for a home: • Close to UQ in St Lucia (closer the better) • With a medium-large size room with lots of natural light, a ceiling fan and at least big enough for a double bed, bedside table, large desk, wardrobes and mirror. • With a yard or deck that gets a decent amount of sun throughout the day. • With undercover parking preferred • With nearby public transport to and from UQ, fortitude valley, and the city preferred About me: I'm positive and ambitious, and a super organised, respectful and open person :) I'm very health conscious and make all my own healthy meals which are wholefood plant based. I'm down for cooking for others 😁💖 I do aerial acrobatics and yoga, love nature and making friends. Things I'm most passionate about in life are eco-sustainability, nutrition, fitness, mental wellness and personal development. 😊😄😁💪🏼💗
Neat and tidy, I always clean up my mess. I'm sociable but I prefer to have my rest and alone time at home. I prefer a quiet and peaceful household. I consider myself friendly but I can't say the same thing to your dog if you have one. I had traumatic experiences with dogs years ago so I can't stand a house with dogs. Non-smoker and I don't drink( but I'm cool hanging around with social drinkers and smokers). I have stayed in different parts of Asia so pretty much I'm familiar with different Asian cultures. I was born and raised in the Philippines and before flying to Australia I worked in Singapore for over 4 years. I plan to work while studying for my postgraduate diploma in management at Queensford college. At the end of the year my boyfriend will be joining me so i hope to get a room that will allow couples ( and we will pay the couple rate of course).
I am looking for a room to move into in February 2019 in St Lucia close to UQ, where I will start studying advanced finance and economics. I currently live in Cairns. I would like a furnished room with a bed and desk at least, and either a shared bathroom or ensuite. I am clean, tidy and easy-going. I am not picky about who I move in with but would love to meet some other uni students around my age! :) When I'm not studying, in my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, watching Netflix, reading and hanging out with friends.
I am an American grad student at UQ studying international Relations. I'm a pretty sporty guy, into rugby, watching American football, running, and anything outdoorsy. I'm a pretty social guy, respectful of others' space, but almost always down for a drink, a convo, or just to hang out. I plan on working for most of the summer and possibly traveling around a bit so I will probably be in an out quite a bit. If there's anything you would like to know about me or my interests, feel free to ask!
Hi! I am a future Visual Arts student and part-time retail worker looking for a relaxed and peaceful household. I love reading, painting, restoring old furniture and watching 80s romcoms. I would ideally love to find a home that I can settle into more long-term as I finish my studies.
Hi my name is Maddie. I will be studying at UQ at the beginning of the year. I am from the States and really want to meet some people. I am a Chemical Engineering student who is always down for a good adventure and likes to go out on the weekend. During the week I mainly keep to myself and study, but like to binge watch a good show on Netflix or chill outside with good music. I am very easy going and extroverted and can't wait to be in Brisbane.
What makes me great to live with? I listen to musicals through headphones. Full-time Master's student at UQ, part-time office worker. Clean, tidy, and respectful. I can move immediately and am flexible on lease length: 3-9 months is good. I'm solid gold set on somewhere with a double bed and a pool. Flexible on everything else.
I am a 24 y/o post grad physiotherapy student studying at UQ. I am a friendly, easy-going, active, tidy, organised and reliable person. I am moving to Brisbane from a little rural town so hoping to find some welcoming (female) room mates living in secure accommodation near UQ.
I will be studying Psychology at UQ (St Lucia campus) in February 2019. I'm looking for a team up of two like-minded people to share a house with. A bit about me: - I'm a woman with a conscious mind and heart - I am passionate about mental health and wellbeing - I'm a foodie and love to cook simple plant-based foods - I am a bit of an old soul and not very outgoing - I like to watch movies and shows on netflix, nap and wind down in my free time - I live a healthy lifestyle with a clean plant-based diet and staying physically active - I enjoy yoga, meditation, and going on walks - I love nature and plants - I enjoy expressing my creativity through art and painting - I love practicing mindfulness and the many benefits it brings - I can't go a day without music - with a strong interest in r&b and hip hop - I love a good deep and meaningful conversation If you're interested in teaming up with me I look forward to hearing from you!
I am an exercise physiologist who loves to have a bit of banter but also keep to myself when needed. I love baking, having a few drinks and anything to do with coffee! I’m always up for adventures as well!
Peruvian doctor taking a postgraduate degree at Griffith University @ South Bank. Looking to rent as soon as the 30th of Nov '18. Accompanied by my wife. I plan on studying/working part-time and my wife will be working full time. We are a relaxed, laid-back, easygoing couple. We are bilingual Spanish and English speakers and I speak a bit of Brazilian Portuguese.
We are both friendly Brits (Cameron was originally born in NZ) and outgoing people who love to chat over a glass of wine but are also respectfulof peoples privacy as we too like our own privacy. We both, Ellie especially, are tidy and clean up after ourselves. We are eager to meet new people as we plan to start our lives here in Aus! We were both previously employed at an outdoors holiday resort in the UK and subsequently both love the outdoors and have an adventurous nature.
Hi I am Jessica from Austria and I'm looking for a room. I am 23 years old and I am studying Psychology in Austria, that's why I'm moving to Australia for the next 6 months, I’m doing an internship at the university of Queensland.
I am UQ PhD student, so I am in the lab most of the time. I also love swimming, going out with friends, some beers, movies, boardgames. As housemate I usually prefer to spend my time in the house in the common areas rather than in the room. Don't mind to have a small room then.
I am a friendly, independent girl Planning to move to Brisbane mid January or feburary next year to study. I am from a more rural area so I want to experience Brisbane to its fullest. I am looking for a nice spacious place that is close to basic necessities and is safe. I can cook and clean for myself, and often just do my own thing but I definitely want a friendly relationship with all flat mates.
I am an easy going and tidy flatmate. I am currently studying at UQ and would love to rent a place with people from diverse backgrounds. I like to spend time just chilling and talking. Also, keen for partying out in the city. I like to cook and to share food :)
Hola! I'm starting a medicine degree at UQ and was looking for some people to stay with me, say hello to me if you are interested !! :)
We are a newly married couple from Canada. We are Christian. We are super friendly, quiet, and clean. I will be searching for full time work once we arrive while my wife attends Med school at UQ.
Hey guys, I’m 23 years old and currently working nights at Sullivan Nicolaides pathology in the city. I am a laidback type of person, always keen to chill or just do my own thing. I am clean and respectful and understand privacy. I am very reliable when it comes to paying rent and bills (my current roommate can vouch for me). I am looking for a place to live with a private room that has an ensuite or at least a private bathroom. I currently live on the sunny coast but looking to move closer to the city as that is where my job is. I am not into partying anymore but don’t mind a drink every now and then. When I am not working I am visiting my family, watching Netflix or studying medical science online. I would prefer a house (at least something with a little bit of grass) over an apartment as I have a small well behaved and clean Maltese cross dog who just loves people and anaimals and would be great if she could live with me. If you think I might suit you or your room let me know. Cheers
