Hello! We're from Singapore and looking for a place to stay during our period of study at UQ. Looking for a place with a 6 month lease period as an option. We are neat, considerate and fun people to live with and excited about exploring Brisbane while studying there :)
I am a easy-going and friendly person who likes their space but also happy to interact with others. I am currently a third year student at UQ so I will be busy but will always keep the place clean and tidy. Not a party person but enjoy a nice movie and chat with potential flat mates. I prefer all female accomodation if possible. Thank you :)
I am Brazilian and I am here to study English, and also to know more about this country. I am calm, I love to travel and make friends. I have two jobs and study at night.
Hi..my name is Riyan and i am from Indonesia.. and I enjoy reading, writing, and watching movie. I am going into training from my office in UQ. i am also quite tidy when it comes to common areas and will always keep common areas of the house clean and neat and am more than happy to do my share of work in the house :)
I'm a student commencing a course at UQ this Feb and have just finished my bachelor degree in Adelaide (so will be moving to Brisbane). I'm a clean, easy going person, love to be engaged in housemate vibes but also appreciate some alone time for studying. Love cooking painting and being active. Hoping to find a furnished room as it would be a hassle to ship all my furniture interstate.
I'm currently studying Business at UQ St Lucia so preferably i would like something reasonably close to the campus. I'm a rather quiet person who spends most of their time studying, watching movies or seeing friends. I enjoy nearly all sports and i'm quite active myself. I drink socially and do not smoke. Apologies for the photo it didn't turn out well at all, i'm the one on the left (obviously).
flexible move in date (anytime before Feb 20th) currently in Melbourne looking for accommodation in QLD 2nd year Psychology student at UQ, work at Coles quiet and tidy, but do enjoy going out on weekends no pets, non-smoker
I'm quiet, responsible and keep to myself. I do enjoy a drink or a night out occasionally but most of the time I love my private space. However I'd love to help out with anything if you need. I'm a graduate teacher but currently working part-time at UQ, will be looking for a teaching job next year.
I am an 18-year-old male, studying Commerce at UQ only transferring from Griffith on the Gold Coast this year. I am a very social person and will easily get along with anyone in the house. I do have respect for personal space and like to knuckle down and study. I have been brought up to always pull your weight within the household and depend on my living space being clean and functional. I currently work behind a bar on the southern GC, but have spent some time on the tools as well - only strengthening my appreciation and empathy for understanding every ones circumstances. I absolutely love to surf (fitting into the GC stereotype very easily) and have played soccer for several years. I love to keep fit and always am trying something new. I am quite open and enjoy talking about anything, one of the reasons I find University so interesting, and the appeal of a share house with other like-minded people.
Hows it goin, I'm Cory. I'm a Canadian from Vancouver studying kinesiology, and I'm doing an exchange at UQ for a term. Hobbies include drinkin beer, sports and music. Looking for a chill place to live in Bris from Mid feb to sometime in July. Preferably somewhere between UQ and the valley, I.e - Woolloongabba, Highgate Hill, etc.

Briefly, I really like to explore distinctive places, areas, natural beauty, and meals. I really like to watch movies and prefer to watch with my roommates! One of my favorite weekend activity is watching a movie with beer and pop-corn :) I love to go to the gym. I am doing yoga and swimming three times a week. (not an expert degree ) I am also a badminton player. We can play it or doing yoga at our backyard :) That's me ! I am looking flatmate who is enjoyable and well-adjusted. I hate untidiness! I am really tidy and clean. I expect my rommies to be clean in every part of the house. I want my flatmate to do lots of thing together and learn different hobbies! Basicaly, we should be able to talk whenever a small problem occurs. I assure that we will have an amazing time together :) Don't hesitate to message me :) Thanks a lot ! I am looking forward to hearing from you. Kind Regards....

(What we are looking for): -ideally i'd like to live in a unit close to the city: a two bedroom/two bathroom apartment. Although, we don't mind a bit of quite time. - I am studying a bachelor of business at Nathan/My partner (Jade) will be studying his honors in mechanical/electrical engineering at UQ. -Part time workers in hospitality -Human lovers (regardless of ethnicity/gender/orientation) -Pet lovers -Food lovers -Non-smokers ....Let me know if you have any more questions :)
I'm a new full-time student from Dubai starting at UQ in Semester 1, 2017. I will be studying Environmental Management. I was studying in the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign before. I'm the one wearing the purple/pink sweater in the picture. If you can't pronounce my name, don't worry, almost no one can at first, just call me Abhi! I'm super tidy and clean (won't mind if it's not), and pretty good at cooking too. Easy going, and always ready to help a friend. I am respectful towards everyone and will give you your privacy. I like my down time to focus and study. Doesn't mean I don't like to chill out or have fun. Always down to watch a movie or binge watch a tv show. I love going out and playing sports. I play football (Soccer), badminton and Quidditch (no, i'm not kidding, it's a pretty physical sport!), and good at picking up other ones too. Love spontaneous adventures and ready to walk/hike any-and-everywhere. I would love to live with any of you amazing people out there, so if you have a room to offer or are looking to team up, hit me up :D Cheers, Abhi

First year university student moving to Brisbane from Far North Queensland to start studying biomedical science at UQ. Just looking for a place, preferably furnished, where I can stay until June when I m going to be moving in with my sister. I don't mind parties but tend not to host them (so don't worry about that) and I spend a lot of time locked in my room trying force myself to study. I am however a sociable person and do enjoy a good discussion and can cook a few basics (I'm still learning). I consider myself mature and responsible, and will aim to keep the place tidy. I'm fairly friendly and outgoing but respect other people's privacy. I love to read, try to keep fit (but goodness knows I lack the motivation), and enjoy a variety of activities from hiking to binge watching Netflix. I'm very open minded and would love a flatmate or two who are nice and easy going.
Hi! I'm moving to Brisbane from Perth for an Engineering job in the CBD. I'm easy going, sociable and a tidy person. Happy to have a few drinks, group dinners and just generally hang out etc. but I'm also respectful of other people's space. I like spending my time outdoors and am keen to explore Brisbane and QLD being new to the city. Ideally would like to live with 2 or 3 other similar people (guys and girls) either to team up to find a place or a room to rent in an existing share house. Not really keen on an apartment/unit. I'm staying with a friend when I first get to Brisbane and can stay there until around the end of Feb so I'm flexible with a move in date but would rather get somewhere more permanent sooner rather than later.
Medical intern starting work in February. I am originally from Mauritius but have been in NSW for the past 6 years. Very easy-going and always happy to meet new people. I am currently looking for a 6 month lease since I'll be doing my rural terms in the second half of the year.
Hello there, I am a French postgraduate student beginning my master at UQ this year. Last year I studied in Sydney and worked part-time in hospitality. Back in Sydney I used to share my flat with 5/6 roommates and truly enjoyed it, but today I am looking for a private room in a shared flat with fewer people, allowing me to focus more on my studies. I am a respectful, clean and outgoing person. If you are interested in sharing a flat with me, do not hesitate to contact me.
Hey guys, I'm Bangin, 24, student from Berlin, Germany, here in Brisbane for an 8-week internship by the beginning of March. I've seen many corners from Europe and would love to share my stories and hear yours! I'm very easy going and love to meet new and interesting people. Within the week, I'll be working in a hospital, in the evening and weekends, I'd like to discover Brisbane's and Australia's beauty - maybe you'd like to team up?
Hi there, I'm Klowie and I will be attending UQ St Lucia starting Feb 27 with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science. I am easy going and very devoted to my studies so I won't disrupt the household, however I am always up for a good chat or friendly banter anytime. I would ideally like to move in sometime early Feb and would prefer a majority female house. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I grew up on a cattle farm, but moved to Brisbane for study. I'm healthy and relaxed but studious. Would love to share with supportive, fun people who are happy to hang out. I come with a 12 year old dalmatian, so pet friendly is a must! She is an inside dog, but very well trained. I enjoy gardening and wine and tea. In August/September I'm leaving for exchange in Canada, but I'll be back in early 2017 and would be happy to move back in if the room is available. Toowong is my first choice, but happy to move to another suburb nearby.
I'm simple and easy going person and want to live in silent but sometimes fun and exciting environment. I like to explore new places and learn new skills and cultures. Let me know if you have fit place for me. Waiting to see you. Thanks.
I'm clean but relaxed. I try my best to be the best I can be. I'm enrolling in tafe for this year so I won't be around all the time but when I'm home I wouldn't mind some good conversations. I play music, sing, draw, take photos and write. I plan of studying psychology at uni after I've completed tafe.
I'm currently looking for a short term room as I just need a few more months to save up and go overseas! I just finished my bachelor of Science (marine biology) at UQ and I'm currently working as a barista. I'm super easy going and get along with most people I meet, I'm also really tidy! Cheers, Paddy
I'm a pretty laid back guy that gets along with most people. I'm generally pretty quiet and always clean up after myself. Studying Chemical Engineering/Chemistry at UQ. When I'm not at uni I'm usually working as a cook. Used to live in Perth and moved to Brisbane 2 years ago. Still don't know too many people so 100% down for socialising with flatmates.
Hi I'm David, I'm looking for a room to stay in long term in the UQ area in order to start studying in Semester 1 of 2017. I'm fairly open to moving dates as long as it's before the 20th of February. I'll be honest with you, I'm not too picky as to where I live, just as long as it's close to UQ, I'm planning on spending more time outside than in, so as long as it's a place to keep my things, wash clothing and sleep, I'm all set. Unfurnished rooms are acceptable as I plan to eventually furnish my own room, but Ideally a decent bed and either clothes rack or wardrobe would be ideal, again, not too picky. I'm interested in and love cooking, so if one of the household chores includes this I'm more than happy to pull my weight. It also goes without saying I'll do my bit when it comes to combined expenses/chores etc... If you have something that fits what I'm after I'd prefer you call me over messaging me through flatmates as I'm more likely (certain) to see it. Thanks!
We are both Singaporean and good friends. We are both friendly and clean, and are both in our second year of University. He is studying marketing while I'm doing finance. We are both really easy going and respectful. Also, both of us are happy to share a bathroom, so if you prefer to have an en-suite room to yourself, that'd be perfect as this means we're able to get a 3 bedroom house. Do drop us a msg and we'd be happy to liaise from there.
My name is Joaquin and I'm 21 years of age. I'm a student from Madrid, Spain. I have already lived in Brisbane for 6 months and now I'm looking for a different place to stay after the Christmas break. I'm studying Mechanical Engineering at UQ. I'm organized but not strict, I respect others private space but I also enjoy conversation and having a drink with my flatmates. I enjoy watching movies and football games. I play sports (football and soccer) and I love going on day trips to the beach or to a national park. I'm also good at cooking and I don't smoke.
I'm a Journalism student at UQ looking for a room. Non-smoker, neat and I have all my own furniture. I don't have any pets but my parents do have a dog that might occasionally come to visit. I own a car so a spot to park it would be great! My move in date is flexible, but I would prefer to find somewhere before Uni starts!
I'm a 32 year old student from Colorado in the US. New to Australia, I can't wait to get out and see more of this great country. When it comes to home, I am neat and tidy, and appreciate others who are similar. I'll be out of the house often for school, but would enjoy living with more social individuals. Of course, nothing beats a night in watching bad horror movies. I'm happy to answer any and all questions you have. Sean
I am really easygoing, happy to do my own thing but also friendly. I have been working overseas as a live-in nanny for two years so I'm used to being tidy and respectful of someone else's home. I love to travel, meet new people, watch musicals and go running. I will be commencing study at UQ in March and would like to move to Brisbane by early February, but I'm pretty flexible so long as I find the right place. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I'm looking forward to meeting my new housemates :)
Hi! I've just finished school and i'm needing a place to live in as I am moving from the Gold Coast to Brisbane for university at QUT for a bachelor of science. I'm a hard working student and worker, generating enough money to pay rent, also a very tidy person and very responsible - I would look after everything in the flat/house I moved in to :)
Hi there! I'll be making the move from Perth to study a doctor of psychology at UQ, so I would love to find some friendly housemates to help me settle in to Brisbane. I love travelling, and while I'm more of a quiet night in girl, I also enjoy a good chat and the occasional drink on the weekend. I'm tidy and responsible. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you would like to know more!
I'm moving from Perth to Brisbane in one month and i need somewhere to stay! *SOMEWHERE IN ST LUCIA WOULD BE GREAT* Will be studying at UQ starting in late February/March. I consider myself friendly, kind natured and easygoing. I am clean and like to keep where I am living tidy. I enjoy singing, drawing, painting and occasionally going out. Not interested in throwing house parties at all.
Hi all! I'm going to be studying a science degree at UQ this year and am looking to find accommodation (under $150/week incl. bills) by early February. I'm sociable (but also enjoy some recharge relax time), tidy, reliable for rent, and would love to get the chance to meet some new people! Always willing to contribute to chores and love to cook my own meals (veg.), plus I am good with organisation and living on a budget, and find it easy to get along with absolutely anyone. I'm always down for socialising or hitting up a club or two, but also don't mind some quiet chill time and keeping to myself. Overall just fairly easy-going and am hoping to find a place asap, so feel free to message!
Hi I'm Bryce, I'm a 29 year old Australian guy originally from near the Sunshine Coast, and I have close American friend John (Colorado) who is arriving in January on a work visa. We are currently looking for 2/3 bedroom house or unit to move into around the beginning of February. Not opposed to moving into a place with another person to make it 3 people, within reason (i.e. relatively large place). I work in the oil & gas/mining exploration industry, and I also have a small scale GIS business on the side when I'm not working away in the field. John has just finished 12 months working at a research station down in Antartica and will most likely be working for the exploration company I work for early next year. We are all fairly well travelled and love to have a chat! If your place sounds like a perfect place for us to move into and around the time we are looking at, please hit me up!
- cheerful, chatty, easy to get along with - have good cleaning habit - on time with bill payment - fairly good cook, love baking, and open to sharing groceries - enjoys own personal space, plus respectful of other's personal space - enjoys a good drink or a night out from time to time - full time masters student in UQ; will spend majority of the day at uni, will graduate end of 2018 - looking for a place with approximately 30-40min travel by bus to UQ - preferably a room with an ensuite bathroom
Hey I'm Lorrin. I just graduated high school and am hopefully moving to Brisbane for uni (UQ). I'm pretty easy-going and a little goofy, I keep to myself but I'm sociable and get along with pretty much anybody. I can take care of myself; cleaning, washing, household duties which is pretty good for someone in my generation. I am respectful and appreciate respect in return. I'm down with fun and games and can have a good time. Even though I'm out of work, I will be looking for a job in Brisbane ASAP, that being said I can still afford 150-170$/week. I'm super keen to live in Brisbane and hope I can find some good people.
Hey there. I'm Jess, a 30yr old male who has just returned from living abroad for the past few years and will be studying at UQ. I'm clean, quiet and easygoing. Looking for flatmates who are like minded.
I'm moving from the Gold Coast to Brisbane and I'm a 4th year student studying microbiology, psychology and maths at UQ. As you can tell, I'm a science nerd. I'm also a friendly, considerate and tidy person. I am introverted and academically focused but I am also looking for housemates who I can be friends with. I like watching tv, eating, painting and hanging out. I am flexible with move in dates as long as it's before the start of uni. I would prefer female housemates.
Howdy, I'm Fraser, and I'm an Aussie studying Exercise/Sport Science full time at UQ. In my spare time I like to keep fit, mostly through running, cycling, and swimming. I work as a barista, so I'm up early in the morning, and am usually in bed pretty early at night. I study hard, I don't smoke, I only drink socially, and I'm neat and keep the communal areas clean!
This is my first attempt at moving out of home on the Sunshine Coast to study a Bachelor of Arts at UQ! I've been working as an IGA casual for a few years but will be leaving at the end of January, so I'm keen to move to Brisbane and find a new job as soon as I can! I'm easygoing and tidy and even though I get along really well with people, I also love just sleeping and watching Netflix in my room. I'd be really keen to move in with someone who wants to be good friends and will binge watch TV shows with me.
I am currently 17 and will be studying biomedicine this year at UQ. I am outgoing and super friendly, plus a social person! I am house proud and always clean up after myself and am willing to cook dinners for the household to share! I work as a casual but get around 30 hours per week! Also super friendly and easy to get along with. Ideally, I am looking for a place that is modern and kept clean, as well a bedroom large enough to fit my queen bed with extra space! Would prefer my own bathroom too!
