Hi! I'm Sophie, I’ll be 22 early next year and I’m just finishing up a psychology degree and graduating this December. Next year I’ll be doing post grad psych study and/or working. I like eating pizza, binge-watching TV shows and I like to think I’m quite friendly and easy going- always up for a chat and to hang out but also like my own space! I'm looking to move sometime between late November and end of January :)
Hi! I am a Canadian International student, which means I'm polite (naturally). I'm also very friendly, clean and like to keep active. I will definitely be interested in doing some exploring during my stay as I've never been to Australia but I will have to balance that with a full time study schedule as I'm a keen student. I eat a plant based/vegetarian diet and do need my down time as I'm go-go-go during the day. Looking for short or long term as my program is a 2 year Masters in Physiotherapy. Cheers!!
I'm a pretty easy-going girl, I enjoy great conversations and love to have a good laugh. I'm easy to get along with and I also appreciate my personal space from time to time. I'm an awesome cook (if I can say so myself), and I like trying new recipes... Although ironically, I eat very little. If you live with me you will enjoy these recipes at least once! My hobbies include reading, writing, drawing, and travelling. And cooking. I'm tidy and I always clean up after myself. I've recently gotten into jogging too and I'm hoping to keep that up. I've previously enjoyed living in a share house on the Gold Coast (I picked up surfing while I was there), and I'll be moving to Brisbane to focus on my academic research. I'm currently in Hobart so let me know if you'd like any Tasmanian souvenirs! :) Send me a message if I sound like your potential flatmate.
*Currently looking for a place from the 18th/25th Nov to 18th Dec only* But likely to continue with the lease in Jan 15th if I love the place ;D I'm 26 and currently studying my Doctorate in Psychology at UQ. I'm a pretty easygoing person and generally fuss-free. I am considerate, responsible and respectful about personal space. I'm always ready for deep meaningful conversations as I find that it's the way that connects me with people. With the rigor of my course, I do spend quite some time working and studying so at the moment, I lead a rather boring life but I'm hoping to get more time to explore Brisbane/Australia next year. I love animals and one of my greatest joy is being outdoors with nature. I'm more of a mountain person, but can definitely sit by the ocean to relax. I enjoy keeping fit and try to do some mindfulness meditation/chanting every other day, but sometimes all I wanna do is to binge-watching netflix!! ;D
I'm very chilled and easy going. I like having a chat after work and enjoy sharing some meals and a glass of wine on the weekends. I look for a quiet place (especially to sleep) as I am working on my PhD full time.
29 y.o. Italian guy looking for at least 4 weeks accommodation or maybe more. I am friendly, I like to cook, singing, travel, and making friends. Thanks for your help
I’m working as a veterinary assistant in an animal clinic right now. I just ended my A-Levels not long ago and I’ll be attending UQ for Zoology degree next year. I’m a bit of a clean freak actually and I can’t stand if the place I live is dirty or terribly untidy. I stay at home a lot to study but also I love outdoor activities especially horseriding, swimming, archery, boxing, Muay Thai and more. I also go to the gym. I sing and play the piano too and I wish to learn how to surf next. I’m an animal lover and an environmentalist. I love the nature so I’ve decided to adopt the zero waste lifestyle a while ago.
Three UQ students in last/second last year of Bachelor degree. We are friendly, cleanliness oriented and responsible people. We respect other people's privacy but love to hang out in free time. We are looking for places with at least 3 bedrooms for each of us.
Hi :) I'm a quiet easy going person who is clean and tidy around the house. I enjoy meeting new people and socialising, as well as having alone time. I am a student studying occupational therapy at the University of Queensland, and looking for a friendly laid back share house to call my home while I continue my studies.
Hello I am a friendly, easy-going, tidy and clean person, looking for someone to share a two bed room apartment in Toowong or surrounding suburbs with me :) I am working six days a week as a personal trainer and an accountant. I have good eating and living habits! hope you also enjoy exercises and good food:) I like hanging out with friends but not a party animal. Hope we can chill out together and share our stories ! If you are interested in living with me message me or email me. Then we can start looking for a suitable apartment together :) lovelove
Hello! My name is Dustin and I'll be re-locating to Brisbane for a job mid November. I'm from Southern California and like to surf, ride bikes and have some beers with friends in my spare time. I'm pretty low key and my work keeps me busy but I'm always down to BBQ and hang out!
Hi, I live in Noosa and go home on Fridays and return Monday PM. I am seeking a quiet, modern own bathroom room with own TV, internet, close to cafes, great coffee, great running tracks, I am a super neat person who keeps to themselves and you will have the place to yourselves on the weekend as I will go home on the weekend. I am a very young and fit 53 year old professional who loves life and a glass with a chat. Thanks. Mark
Heyo! I am a fulltime student at UQ studying philosophy and sociology, looking for a a place to call home while I finish my degree over the next two years. I'm super easy going, very social, and a slightly better than average cook. I spend a lot of time going to local gigs, reading, planting things and I do the occasional downward dog. Looking for a place with like-minded people who wouldn't be against a few drinks at the end the day.
I am doing my PhD on marsupial brain evolution in UQ (for the next 3+ years), so I need a place to stay. I play the guitar occasionally, have a road bike but will prolly be spending most of the time in the Uni. I'm an easy-going guy with plenty of international experience (have been living in the USA, Hungary, Bulgaria, UK and for the last 10 years in the Netherlands), love having a dinner with the housemates every now and then, like board games, craft-beer and nature.
Hi! I'm Kirana, and I'm a Psychology and French undergrad student at UQ from Indonesia :) I'm a tidy and clean person and I love to cook (maybe we can cook together sometimes or exchange recipes!) I love music and animals and I'm pretty easygoing. I'm never late to pay my rent, and I'd be glad to follow house rules. I'm looking for a place to move for the next semester, fully furnished (preferably with internet and bills included in the rent) and I'd love a place with international students as I love learning other cultures and foreign languages.
I've lived in share houses for 10 years, so know how most set ups work. I'd like to think I'm a friendly guy. I can appreciate when people want downtime and when they want to chat. Hoping to live as close to UQ as possible. I'm moving up from Victoria, so I won't have many things with me. So anything that is already furnished is a bonus!
Hiya! My name is Yasmin and I am an international student at UQ completing my BA in Psychology and Gender Studies. Very easy going, into a lot of different things: boxing, conspiracy theories, acting, soccer, dance, C A T S, X-Box amongst some. I'm big personality who just loves to laugh and entertain, but equally I like my own space and my own time to sit back... and by that I mean my time to meaningfully reflect on memes :) I'm looking for a place to move into next semester as this will be my last semester at UQ- so only looking for tenancy that go over for half the year. I'm always on time when paying rent (sometimes early) so that's not a concern and will happily follow any house rules as discipline is an important value to me too. As much as I love going out and getting wacko, I equally value just being able to sit at home with a bag (or five) of chips and watch some telly. Not a HUGE party animal, but can be if thats what youre looking for ;) haha. Non-smoker but have 0 issues with housemates smoking around me. Bonus point: I'm a psych student, so you can lash out your daily hassles on me at the end of the day if you ever need :D Looking forward to get in touch!
Hello, I'm Rose, and I'm really looking forward to moving to Brisbane from the Tweed area. Working full time at the moment, but I'll be starting study at TAFE South Bank and a part time job (or two) when I move up. The suburbs I've listed are not fixed, but that general area would be fab. I don't know how to make this sound less cliche, but I'm a friendly, healthy, easy-going young adult who probably sits right on the line between introvert and extrovert. Keen to go out, keen to stay in. I'll be looking forward to meeting new friends (hopefully you!) and finding new awesome local places for a drink or two. I also want to join some local communities/Meet Up groups (D&D, a choir, volunteering, environmental, book club, whatever man). What I'm looking for in a place to stay is share accommodation with my own furnished room. I have a car, so I'll need either off or on-street parking. I am a clean person, and tend to look after my own mess, but if you would rather have a chore roster I'm cool with that. I expect reasonable cleanliness from my flatmates too. An important thing for me would be ample space in the fridge/freezer/kitchen cupboards as I tend to do my cooking for the rest of the week on the weekend in one big go. I want to feel safe in my place. If there will be strangers around a lot I'll want a lock on my door. I'm cool with parties every now and then, but not every week. Flatmates that like to chat and hang out are a big plus :)
Hey everyone! I’m moving out of my 5 person sharehouse to hopefully get a little fur baby (Pomeranian)! I’m looking for someone that wants to team up and get a 2-3 bedroom place close enough to UQ as I work and study there. I’m clean and tidy, and while I’m social and don’t mind a drink or two, I live for nights in. I’m quiet and respectful and I’m just looking for someone to share bills with and have a super chill year with. My move in date is flexible. Coming from living with so many people in such a big house I know the importance of coexisting peacefully! If this sounds anything like what you’re looking for, let me know!
I'm quiet and easy going, very clean and tidy, equally enjoys socialising and having time on my own. I'm an artist starting my Masters in semester 1 2018 at UQ, so I will be moving over from Melbourne where I currently live. I'm hoping to find somewhere nice that's close to Uni :)
