Clean, considerate, responsible, well-mannered, happy, healthy individual looking to SHARE a home with like-wise, like-minded, decent someone, preferably the home owner, with view to commiting to a lengthier stay.
Hiya! I’m Bianca and myself and my partner Ben are seeking accomodation, we’ve been living together for close on 9 months now in my home but are looking to find somewhere of our own. We are both studying Certificate III’s in Hospitality and Retail so we’d be out of the house the majority of Monday thru Thursday. We’re seeking somewhere about $150 a week (max $160) for both of us. That’s preferably including all bills and maybe internet, however if the room is $125 or less we could potentially manage bills separately. We’re looking for somewhere within a 30 minute drive to the city, as our courses take place in South Brisbane. We can’t really afford much more than that as we’re studying and don’t have a huge income, so we would need whatever we have left for food and fuel. A bit about us: We are both tidy and clean up after ourselves, especially me as I have a bit of OCD (this doesn’t extend to nagging housemates about their messes though, you do you). At our worst there might be some dishes left overnight but they’ll always be done by the next day. We both smoke cigarettes, only outside though, and we tend to keep to ourselves but are always up for a chat over coffee and durries. We also both adore animals, if you have a kittus or a doggo don’t be surprised to find us havin a sit down and smothering them with love and pets at least once or twice a day. Ben is into video games & plays guitar, and appreciates every genre of music. He’s got an entrepreneurial attitude and wants to start his own record label in order to change the world with sick tunes. He’ll always be up for an educated debate on a wide array of topics & loves learning through other people and their passions. He’d also like to travel the world, ideally hitchhiking or in a van so he’s pretty adventurous. He’s previously worked as a tradie and briefly fixed computers so he’s always handy to have around. I am creative in every sense of the word, if it can be DIY’d I’ll do it. I love to cook and make up delicious recipes so I’m always in need of confident tasters to sample my latest creation and give constructive criticisms. Other than that, Im a bit of an artist and I sew, knit, draw, paint, scrapbook, refurbish, and all around make stuff. I’ve also had several jobs as a body piercer and have had about 50 piercings all together, my goal is to one day be a tattoo artist. If you’ve got any questions or think that we would suit a place you’re offering please don’t hesitate to shoot me a message!
I am currently working and studying full-time - looking to move closer to the city so it's not such a commute to UQ. I'm always super super busy but when I have down time I love to relax with some Netflix and a few drinks out or at home. I'm not incredibly fussy on who I live with, I just want people that are respectful of each others things and can keep the place clean without nagging. BONUS: I already own communal things like a super large fridge and TV as well as a small dining set and futon.
Hello! I'm moving to Brisbane early 2019 and would ideally like a home to rent close to South Brisbane. I'm a graduate, but will be studying and working part-time. Thanks in advance~
We are a couple and recently graduated from UQ. We are clean and easy to get along (not looking for conflict and respect the house rules etc). We are also quiet and don't intend to have parties at the place. Living in Australia should also be a great cultural and social experience that we would love to share with our future roomates. So we'd very happy to have a chat or a drink occasionally :) Looking forward to meet you, Alex and Lianqi
Hi there! I’m a cheery extroverted introvert from singapore that enjoy quality time with small social circles but also appreciate alone time at home. I love to keep the household neat and clean and would definitely enjoy a room/flatmate with the same level of tidiness. I enjoy cooking, binging tv series and of course, eating and I am a huge animal lover so I wouldn't mind if you have pets! Looking to move in December 2018 nearer to QIMR for my honours year and hopefully find amazing people to live with!
I'm very laid-back and am used to living with a diverse range of people. I enjoy cooking and can always be relied on to have a clean room and kitchen. I love running, reading and playing sport. I'm currently studying science and arts at UQ, looking to major in zoology and minor in Chinese. I work as a waitress in the city and volunteer weekly with the RSPCA.
I am a full-time female Chinese Singaporean student embarking on a 4-year undergraduate studies in UQ. I am introverted and take some time to warm up to others. Coming alone to a foreign country I have never set foot on, I really do hope to make friends here in the Australia:) Wld love to explore the city with someone~ I have literally zero friends here in Australia so hopefully I can find some like-minded friends of any race/gender :D Some things I like to do: go for karaoke(chinese, english, korean songs!!!) , catching movies, listening to music, shopping etc etc
Hi! I am Augustine from Indonesia. I recently got a scholarship to study for my masters at UQ. I am looking for a room at a shared house/flat close to UQ's St. Lucia campus. I am laid back and respectful. I enjoy biking, swimming, coffee, and long walks. If you are students at UQ or working professionals who want to share your house/flat or to team up to rent a house/flat, please let me know.
Hi there! I'm a full-time uni student at UQ just looking for somewhere to stay for the duration of my degree. I'm friendly but I like to keep to myself. I study at uni a lot so I'm rarely home during the day and on many occasions I study into the night as well. I always clean up after myself and I'd like to say I'm pleasant to live with :)
Hi! I am a quiet but sociable, nature loving, book reading, tea drinking, design student. I like dark British comedy, murder mysteries with a plot, and easy going people. I can cook, and tidy and clean a bathroom, but I hate to take bins out. (Better with dishes) - Looking for chill friendly, maybe arty people :) and a $210pw max room, bills included if I can find it, and the bigger the better as I am a designer + artist and need space, with some window light for my indoor plants and the art :D Looking for a longer term stay somewhere fairly central and more south. Let me know if you think I should be looking at your add! Cheers, Holly
Hi this is Cedric, I am a reliable, clean and easy-going man who is pursuing my Doctor degree in biomedical Science at UQ. I am looking for an accommodation with walking distance to UQ, which is convenient for me to study in the lab. Even I sometimes busy, I love to have a chat with roommates to share our experiences in the day. Currently I am overseas, I will be back to Brisbane on the 1st of October. Feel free to drop me a message if you want to know more details.
Just moved here from Singapore a couple of months back, and will be staying in Brisbane for 3 years studying Psychology at UQ. I'm looking for teamups to rent a house/apartment. As a flatmate, I'm tidy and respect privacy, but am definitely always up for socialising and having fun! I enjoy watching (binging) tv shows, good food, shopping, sports and the occasional unplanned adventure!
I'm looking to start up a share house with 2 others who are interested in taking up a few environmentally friendly practices around the home. I'd love to be able to share with like minded people who are also all about creating a welcoming and comfortable space to live. Other than having an interest in the environment I’d like housemates who are friendly, positive, respectful of other’s space and privacy, will keep common spaces tidy, but are also totally down for a chat and bit of socialising whether it’s with a beer, cuppa, or glass of wine in hand! :) A little bit about myself: I’m a 21-year-old genderfluid, studying Environmental Management at UQ. I’m definitely a bit of science and enviro nerd although I also love to explore my creative side by painting, sketching, and singing with a local community choir (swear it’s groovier than it sounds haha) in my spare time. Being a trans person, it is very important to me that housemates are open minded and lgbt+ friendly or from the community themselves. Please flick me a message and tell me a bit about what you're looking for if you're interested. I'd love to hear from you! Note: My move date is also pretty flexible. I'm currently researching in China but will be back in Brissie from October 15th
I have been renting for 2yrs. I'm clean and friendly. I play water polo and guitar. I graduated school in 2014 and worked/travelled in and around the UK in 2015. I have been studying prephysio (2016-mid2018) on the Gold Coast for the last few year but recently moved up to Brisbane in July to study Engineering (Medical/Mechatronic) at QUT. I'm looking for a household of 2nd/3rd year students (preferably eng) that have similar interests. I like to have a good time but respect peoples space around assessment times.
Good Morning, my Name is Lisa, I'm from France, 24 years old. I'm working full time in West End. I'm clean, quiet and easy going. I like to enjoy my free time with my friends ! I love cook, play video game, watch Netflix. I looking for MY OWN ROOM with king bed. My maximum price per week is $170. I looking for a room from 20 October. thanks you.
I'm a respectful and trustworthy person, I like being in a place where I get to know who I'm living with, that way there's the opportunity of being social and doing activities. I'm into sport currently it's basketball that has my focus, where I'm playing every Monday night.
Just came to Australia for a year out, looking for someone/ people who kinda know the area and can point me to the best places to go, nights out, places to see, whatever really, I’m easy going and up for anything really.
I’m just a girl who is ready to spread her wings and start adulting in a house of adults that aren’t her parents. I love animals, am graduating from UQ this year with a bachelor of wildlife science and will be starting my honours project next year with echidnas! So there will be no shortage of pictures of the little cuties! I like watching tv and craft when I’m not studying, I also like watching tv when I should be studying... I also love a chat but can be quiet sometimes so I won’t talk you to death. I work part time at Toowong village and like going out every now and then. I have the greatest cat in the world, Kiki (no relation to Drake’s Kiki, and unlike Drake’s Kiki you will never doubt whether or not she loves you because she loves everyone and doesn’t hide it), she is 13 years old and the sweetest little cat you will meet in your life! She is very quiet, since she is essentially an old lady, and is addicted to pats and attention. Kiki and I look forward to meeting some new friends!
