Hi my name is Line! I'm a 22 year old exchange student from Denmark coming to Brisbane to study for one semester. I'm a very social person, which means I'm also looking for a very social household, without steeping on each others feet. I love a glass of wine in the evening and a share meal once in a while, plus I am a pretty good cook so look forward to that. When it comes to cleanliness I'm pretty standard. Cleans up after myself and expect the same from my housemates, without being to strict about it - a plate in the sink overnight do not make me loss my mind. Throughout the day I spend a lot of time on my studies, so when I come home I need a place to relax. In the weekend I normally spend all day outside - going to the beach, going for a hike, drinking coffee at cafes, etc. Lastly: I do not care if you smoke (just do it outside please) and I loooooove animals - so if you have a cat or a dog you get a free petsitter if you get me as a tenant. Can't wait to hear from you! Line.
Hello my name is Raeesa! I'm from Canada and am looking for a place to stay near the St. Lucia campus starting July. I will be attending UQ for a masters in Speech Pathology. I enjoy dancing, traveling, trying new things, and having a good time with friends! I'm tidy, easy going and looking to share a flat with other females. If you're interested in my profile, please get in touch. Thanks, Raeesa
So current flatmate's moving out to somewhere closer to his uni (QUT) and it'll probably be easier for me to do the same than to find someone to replace him. A little bit about me : Second year student at UQ - bachelor of architecture so I'm usually doing all-nighters at uni working on my projects or out with my friends on the weekends. You'll rarely see me at home but I'll definitely make time for any social activities we plan! Also pretty good at maintaining the overall cleanliness. Prefer to be staying with students or anyone around my age and will only be able to move in early August (that's when my current lease ends). So yea! Just drop me a message anytime and we'll see how it goes! Cheers!
Hello, We are two Swedish girls looking for accommodation while studying our 5th semester in Textile Engineering at Queensland University of Technology. We are both 23 years’ old and very clean, easy going persons that like to be active and spend time outdoors. We are looking for two separate rooms but could also share one if right room and housing comes along. Coming from Sweden we are a little unfamiliar with such heat Australia provides, so having access to a pool is a huge plus. Do you have something for us? Do not hesitate to contact us. Kindest regards, Erica & Annie
I'm a current QUT Business student and second majoring Franch at UQ. I am looking for a quiet and tidy place to stay. I expect there would be pet-friendly (have a sweet cutie Maltese girl). Location: Inner Brisbane, approximately 10-min bus to City. Feel free to talk and leave me message;)
I'm a student who will do master in uq. Hopefully my roommates are students too. I'm easy going and I respect people's privacy. I have an open mind..I'd like to socialize with my roommates, you know sometimes watch movie together or simply hang out. I don't mind my roommates keeping pets only if it's not snake lol....I probably will cook a lot... Ok, that's all I can think of now.Cheers
Hi Guys Im starting my masters at UQ in july, I'm easy going, clean and respectful of others space but I also love occasional hangs/ fun night out and hope to find some people with similar interests to live with, preferably girls
Hi all, I'm an outgoing and tidy person and while I am content on my own (relaxing in my room watching a movie/doco, reading, gaming) I prefer to be part of a household with other clean and outgoing people where a conversion can spark up. I enjoy dining out, cooking and relaxing with a drink and nibblies. I work full-time for Suncorp Bank (7 years), non smoker, been renting since high school, like pets, no allergies, happy to help with chores/maintenance.
I'm easy going and very flexible person. I like to socialize over a drink, dinner or outing whenever I'm free but at the same time I respect the privacy of other housemates. Looking to fill in fun filled house where staying is just happiness.
Hey everyone! I'm a student from the Italian part of Switzerland. I'm going to get to Brisbane on July the 10th for a semester exchange (4 months) at the UQ. I'm doing a master's degree in geography (development and environment). I'm easygoing, open-minded and clean. I like doing outdoor activities and while in Australia I want to visit the country as much as possible! I like having my own space but at the same time I enjoy having dinner together or chatting over a drink. I'm not a party animal but I love going out with friends on the weekends. Cheers :)
Hey, I'm a 21 year old guy from India - so a good stereotype would be if Raj from The Big Bang Theory made out with Dev from Master of None (which is to say, I'm into science, I occasionally read, love video games, have a quiet social life, and hoping to say Allora alot while I'm there.) I'm coming down to do a Masters at the University of Queensland, and looking for a place to stay for a short term while I get used to the city and consider my options. A little bit about myself: While in India I wrote and directed a few short-films/web-series - and occasionally performed stand up comedy. I like to be clean and organized , and love most kind of music, and I am pretty tolerable with almost all (or no) religious believes - so that would not be a problem. I also binge watch alot of shows, and as far as fun is concerned, I like to play/watch Badminton/Cricket/Football - or go on a walk, or shoot timelapses. Or sleep. Mostly sleep. I'm a party animal in that regard.
Hey! i'm Cliff, a final year accounting student at UQ. I'm planning to move before 14th of July for about 6 months until i graduate, but possibly will extend the rent after that. I'm very clean and always keep things tidy. I'm quiet when i'm inside my house and won't make annoying noises unless there's a party, i really like to socialize and have fun too. I'm looking for nice, open, and tolerance people to live with, LGBT peeps would be great!
I’m a non-smoking, no-pets, no kids, middle-aged and young-at-heart, Canadian/Australian female, tidy, responsible, friendly/sociable yet also respectful of others’ living space. I've lived in a lot of sharehouses in multiple countries and value easy-going, open communication. I'm a long-term Brisbane resident who's relocated back from Melbourne. Have worked professionally in the public and corporate sectors in QLD and overseas - currently on break from my part-time Master of Environment studies. My interests include yoga, swimming, cooking healthy meals, easy cycling/hiking, arthouse films, sustainability and community volunteering. Seeking a non-smoking, pet-free, kid-free household to share with 1 or 2 adults (couples OK). Unfortunately although I love dogs and cats, I'm allergic to both. I am interested in renting for at least 6 months. I have a car so would need either on-street parking or parking spot, if available. Prefer a relatively quiet household but I'm up for friendly chats, sharing an occasional meal/cuppa with housemates or watching TV (e.g. news, docco or The Simpsons). I don’t drink alcohol but am fine with my flatmates having the occasional drink. Move-in date flexible. References available.
Hi there! I'll be heading to Brisbane this July to start a Masters o Occupational Therapy at UQ. I'm very outdoorsy, always down for a chat and love exploring different places on weekends. I'd love to share a house with like minded roomates who are sociable yet respectful of boundaries . Looking forward to meeting new people and getting to know the city! Cheers, Daniela
I have recently returned from a year abroad and am looking forward to studying anthropology and Japanese at the University of Queensland. I like languages, reading and writing fiction, lively debates and exploring new places. I am looking for friendly people to share accommodation and great experiences with.
I am a Japanese, and study English at UQ. I had studied Nursing for 2 years at uni in Japan. Now, I took a gap year from my uni and I will stay in Brisbane by the middle of November. After that, I am going to Vietnam to do volunteer at clinic until the end of March. Then, I restart to study Nursing for more 2 years. I love travelling, cooking, and eating, watching movies, and so on. I'm going to join the volunteer at stroke foundation as well.
I'm a professional working full-time and studying part-time at uni so I am very busy and only at home during the evenings. I don't have parties or regular visitors, don't drink or smoke, and respect the privacy of those I live with. I'm very fitness-minded so I'm up early and go to bed early, so I don't keep anyone up at night too. If you are looking for a quiet, tidy, mature and reliable flatmate who values a relaxed and peaceful household and you are offering a flexible period of 4 - 6 months to stay in a furnished room (preferably with own bathroom but I don't mind sharing) then please don't hesitate to contact me. (Please note: I am currently not looking to sign on to a lease/take over a lease, apologies.) Female flatmates preferred. Looking forward to hearing from you. Update: I've been inundated with more than 30 messages (thankyou!) so please bear with me if I take some time to reply.
I am an easygoing Dutch earth sciences exchange student who is cheerful, social and outgoing, but also respectful. My plan for living in Brisbane is to study, do sports and see parts of the city during the weeks and go on trips in some of the weekends! My (super original) goal is to become a skilled surfer in Australia, for which I have a long way to go because I can only stand on a plank now. Furthermore, I love sailing, going on hikes and boring people with stuff about mountains and volcanoes :-). I am in for chilling or drinks and fun, but also want to do my own things now and then and I hope to find a place with likeminded people. I respect my housemates and like to keep the place quite tidy as well.
Hey there! I am a 22 year old international student from India, pursuing my Masters in Counselling at The University of Queensland. I am particularly keen on an ensuite room to in an all-girls share-house, close to the Uni. I am easy-going, social, tidy and always up for a chat. I follow many TV shows, enjoy music and love travelling and exploring new places. I am also respectful of your privacy, and try to help out as much as I can.
Hey all, I am a 22 year old working professional seeking another person to find a place together. I am pretty flexible with the location, as I don't mind travelling to work for the right place. I have a beautiful little Beagle dog, who is very sweet and loves a good pat. She's 1 year old, so needs a good yard to run around in. I'm a very sociable person, but enjoy my own space. I work four days a week in retail and study the other day, at a veterinary clinic, so I am out of the house a fair bit. I'm searching for a roommate that is like minded and someone who I get along with. Please send me a message if you'd like to have a chat :)
