Moving to Brisbane from the states to get a masters in Econ at UQ. I love travelling, netflixing, pretty much any outdoor activity, art, music, football, rugby, high brow stuff, low brow stuff, unibrow stuff... I enjoy both going out and staying in for a few beers on weekends but nothing crazy, except for when the time calls for it.
ATTENTION: In Desperate Need of a Private Bedroom in a Sharehouse, With Mostly Females :-) Hello Everyone My name is Melanie, I am 21 turning 22 in April and I currently work part-time in a retail department store in Brisbane City. I have been working in the retail industry for over 5 years now and enjoy communicating with people and helping them to find what they are looking for. My cultural background is Sri-Lankan and Indian, and I was born in Brisbane. What makes me a great person to live? I respect peoples privacy and space, I am an independent individual that is responsible and will pay the bills and rent on time. I don't drink or smoke and I am not a party person, so you wouldn't need to worry about that :-) In addition, I enjoy a good chat and would love to get to know my housemates over dinner. What do I like to do for fun? On the weekend I love to catch up with friends over coffee or go to Southbank. I also enjoy spending time on my own watching Netflix and going for walks to clear my mind. P.S The maximum I can afford is $185 per week including all bills, please only message me if your post is under $185 or under and includes all bills:-) Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing from you soon
Hi, I'm Maddie! I currently work three jobs (one full time, one casual and one consulting gig) so I'm really only home at night and on the weekend. In my down time, I like to cook, listen to music, have a drink (tea or G&T/wine, depends on the day) and watch TV. I'm a pretty quiet person but I'd love to find a flatmate who enjoys a Friday night movie/pizza night every so often. I also have an Apple TV (but currently a dead TV) so I'd be happy to share that, which has access to Netflix, Stan, SBS on Demand etc. Not looking for a party house - I love my sleep way too much! Ideally, I'm looking for a house more than an apartment, because I miss having a dog too much and want to get one (if you have a dog even better!) I also like doing a bit of gardening on the weekends, including growing herbs and veges, so it would be awesome if I could find space to do that. Oh and I used to work in a doctor's surgery so I know how and like to clean! Hit me up if you have any questions! :)
I'm Loïc, 22 y/o from France I'm in Brisbane for an internship from May to September about environment sciences. But mainly to discover the city/country, travel and chill. I enjoy every sports, hiking and chilling around with sun and beer. I already lived in shared flats with 4 and 7 people, I enjoy having many discussions and activities with my roomies. I'm very responsible and easygoing but always up for any party or activity ! Feel free to start a chat if you want to know more about me. Bye !
Hi there, my names Rachel, I'm 26 and currently living in Perth. I am moving to Brisbane in May and am looking for a place to call home. I currently work full time as an Insurance Broker and will have full time employment when I move. During the week I am usually busy with work and then the gym. On the weekends I like to relax and plan to explore a lot Brisbane. I am neat and organised.. I always respect other peoples space. I love a wine or two on the weekends, I enjoy going out and socialising but am also down for a quiet night binge watching Netflix and eating my weight in chocolate. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle and love cooking. If I sound like the right fit for your home or you'd like to team up, please don't hesitate to contact me :)
Hey Guys! My name is Jess, i'm working full time and completing my engineering masters. Been working FIFO for the past couple of years and now finally going back to the Monday - Friday grind in the city. I'm originally from the Sunshine Coast and still spend a lot of time up there. I'm a very social person and love to have a beer or wine after work! Always up for a chat and a night out on the town. I'm also very respectful and appreciate everyone has different schedules. I love to travel the world and do so every chance I get! Average cook at best but do have a good dad joke or two. Looking for easy going, like-minded flat mates in a house with a spare room or happy to get a new place. Feel free to have a stalk of my Facebook / Instagram. PM for details.
Hey! My name is Emma and I am 27. I am currently studying a full time Masters Degree at UQ. I work part time and find myself very busy during the weeks. I really love staying active, hanging out with my friends and having the odd drink or two on occasion. I am really friendly and outgoing although like to have some time to myself. I am ideally looking for more mature flatmates, perhaps professionals or those doing postgrad study. I am really tidy and respectful of others. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I'm Tessa and looking for a place to stay. I'm a PhD student at UQ, so during the week I'm working at Uni and during the weekends I'm often out and about. I like a place with privacy so I can rewind when coming home. I also love the occasional chat to tell all the good and funny stories that happened that day. I am very tidy, so I appreciate it if my housemates are also like that. I'm looking for a room with own bathroom. A rental price between 200-250 AUD/week (depending on what bills are included) would be great. If there's a bit of extra storage so I can put my stuff away that would be great. I do have a car so parking (on or off street) would be great. Love to hear from you if you think it would be a match. Cheers, Tessa
Super easy-going, chilled out gal studying Environmental Science at UQ and working part time in retail. Looking for a friendly and relaxed house with good public transport options and somewhere I can leave my car :) Things I love doing include going to festivals, heading down the coast on road trips, taking film photos, scuba diving, camping and generally being social/hanging out. Looking for a social house where I can get to know the housemates and maybe share a meal/drinks etc-I also come with a bonus collection of plants 😌 Looking forward to hearing from you!
My name is Lucas, I currently live in Bundaberg but I am starting uni in May I am doing a Batchelor of Animation at SAE Institute and would like to get down early and settle in. I’m quiet and respectful of others and spend most of my free time sketching. I am hoping to find a place with internet and bills included in rent. I will be going to uni in West End so anywhere that has public transport and isn’t too far from there would be great. I will be travelling down this Thursday 22nd March so would love to have a look at what you have, also possibly the next Thursday after if I don’t find anything. Will move down ASAP if the right place is avail. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Lucas.
I'm a Singaporean guy looking to pursue my undergrad studies in Business Management at UQ next year (2018) around July. As living on-campus can be costly, i'm hoping to find some flatmates for shared accommodation off-campus. I'll be studying full-time in UQ for a period of 2 years and some of my hobbies include football, movies, and outdoor activities of any kind. As this is my first time to Aussie, i'm really open to meeting new people and getting to know the country better. Also i'm down to backpack round Aussie with others who are keen during my free time/vacation break as well!
I am currently finishing my last year of high school in Cairns and am looking for accommodation in Brisbane next year for university. I'm a flexible and easy going person and am willing to help out in anyway possible. I enjoy exercising and i'm always keen to just relax. I am currently 16 and will be 17 when starting at uni.
We are very easy-going, active, sportive, vegetarian and healthy living couple. Love pets and kids. One writing her master thesis and other will be working full time. Hope to find a home to call home for the next year or maybe even longer.
Hi! I am Julia, working and studying nearly all the time))). I love quietness and comfort, but I also enjoy to have a nice evening with mates. Easy going and friendly person. I do not mind about your pets. I'd love to hear from you soon!

I am an easy going person who is always keen to catch up over a few beers every so often. I enjoy training, gaming, reading and also watching plenty of movies. My main focus is to finish my studies by mid next year. Any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask :)

Hello! I'm a researcher/research student at UQ, and I also tutor in architecture. I have previously lived on the Gold Coast and in Hobart and I enjoyed it. I'm organized and clean up after myself. I enjoy the occasional chat but also value personal space. I'm looking for a place to call home - let me know if you're looking for me. :)
Hi, I'm Lisa, I am clean, tidy and sociable. I will be moving to Brisbane in July. I am looking to rent a bedroom in a house share or going flat/house hunting with like-minded people :) I am a student, very open-minded and up for anything! I like to go out and explore, I love to cook or go out for dinner or drinks.
Hi i'm Caitlin 😊 I'm studying a bachelor of primary education at UQ (st lucia), currently in my second year. I'm generally pretty quiet, not really into massive loud parties but would like to live somewhere I can chill out with the mates. I'm vegan, I love animals (I don't have any pets of my own atm, but expect me to get distracted if I see a dog...). Would love to live with someone with a good sense of humour, who I can get in some quality banter with.
