Emily and Connor

We are a friendly and sociable couple, who own our own property back in the UK. We love to run and cycle, and cook lots of tasty evening meals.

We are here on our working holiday visa and have loved Australia so far, after spending the last 11 months travelling around the beautiful state in our Ute. We are so excited to be staying here a little longer and plant our feet around the Gold Coast for a while.

We are clean, tidy and organised. We are always happy to chip in for our fair share of the load. We had our first flatmates shared home in Melbourne in February, and our Tasmanian flatmates from February to May, and loved the experience we had during this time. We enjoyed a mix of sitting and chatting, a meal and a drink or just our own down time.

We are not smokers and unfortunately don’t have our pet with us, but we love dogs! Our pet is currently back in England. He is a cocker spaniel called Kylo. We also love cats after looking after our friends’ two Siamese cats and white fluffy cat when staying on the Gold Coast.

I (Emily) am a teacher, as well as working a retail role at Pacific Fair, and Connor is a rope access specialist (basically hanging off the side of buildings and mountains). We will be working a lot, so we are looking for a place we can relax after work.
