Minyoung

Hi everyone! I’m Minyoung Kim, a student from South Korea. I am well aware of how competitive the share house market is, so I want to introduce myself in a more personal way, allowing you to get to know the people you're considering for this space. I'm urgently in need of place to live, so I want to make sure I introduce myself properly.

I'm a 24-year-old woman, and I will be starting my Master of Nursing at QUT this upcoming February. I graduated from Monash University in Malaysia with a major in Biomedical Science. I also worked for a year in Korea as an English Tutor in a private tutoring company.

I am in Brisbane now, looking for a place to live. I'm eager to find some great housemates.

I describe myself as a positive and independent person. I also love socializing with people and have a very easygoing personality. Since I will be studying full-time and working part-time, I prefer a home that is peaceful and relaxing. I’m not a party person—I value my downtime at home to recharge.

However, I do love the city vibe! I enjoy exploring nice cafes, going to art galleries, or just walking around the city in my free time. I rarely drink, but I do enjoy a drink on occasion. I don't smoke at all.

I have experience living in share houses, so I know how to respect others' space and privacy. I am very tidy, pay rent on time, and clean up after myself.
