Hello, I'm new in Brisbane and I'm staying in Kangaroo Point, but it's a short term room. I have to move away from here soon and I'm looking for somewhere to stay (I'm not sure how long yet, but I intent to stay in Brisbane for a while). I want to find a clean and tidy place to share with friendly flatmates. I'm a student and I do casual jobs, but I'm looking for a fix part-time job to help covering my expenditures in Australia. I like outdoors activities, watching movies and go out sometimes. I'm very social and easygoing. If you're a relax person like me I guess we can get along well :)
I'm a freelance graphic designer and in need of a few weeks stay (hopefully longer work dependent) I've got work lined up as I've been in Brisbane a couple times before. I'm from the UK on working holiday visa
Hi, Nice to meet you, My name is Matthew Simmons. I am a second-year pharmacy student that also works part-time. I am just looking for a place to stay for next semester and potentially longer. I am generally a quiet person, as I spend most of my time studying, working or out with friends. However, when I am home, I like to cook and feel like I can be social as I would prefer to live in what feels like a home. I am looking forward to hearing from you!
I am a very clean, open, friendly, helpful and considerate person who has traveled quite a lot over the past 10 years. This means I do have some stories to tell, but am also interested in listening to other people's stories and experiences in life. I am a Painter & Decorator and just recently also got my diploma in Thai Massage. In case you are looking for someone to paint your house within the next 3 weeks, I might also be your man - going back to Germany on February 17 to help family with their business for a few months :) This much about the career-/ personality section from my end so far. Ideally I am looking for a clean room with own fridge (not essential, but a plus), bed and maybe en-suite in a smaller and not so busy house or apartment. Suburbs south of the river and close to CBD preferred and unfortunately I do require a parking space at least somewhere nearby - doesn't need to be covered or on the property.
I am a Canadian Registered Nurse, living my dream of travelling and working in Australia. I have quickly fallen in love with Brisbane and am very excited to make it my home. I will be working at different hospitals around the city, which includes days, nights and weekend shifts. I am an outgoing individual who loves spending time with others. I do appreciate a balance of personal space and shared time. I am clean, organized and respectful of others belongings. I am looking to live with someone who values those same things. I love to run, hike, do yoga, and play guitar. I love exploring and finding the "hidden gems". I appreciate live music and enjoy to go out from time to time. On the other hand, I love relaxing and catching up on my favourite Netflix series. I am hoping to find a private room in a shared house preferably in the Spring Hill area.
Yo, just a brisbane boy looking for a good balcony to enjoy a beer on. Work full time in marketing, full time student for another 6 months. Been living in a share house the past 2 years but unfortunately my room mates are leaving me for their significant others. Yeah not too fussy about much. That’s not my dog, just thought it was a nice wholesome photo.
21 years old but dont let that scare you. I'm quite mature for my age. You dont need to worry about me partying every weekend because im a bartender at Jade Buddha Thursday through until Sunday. I work late and sleep during the day but I have a very active lifestyle. I listen to music a lot...Like a lot. I'm a bad ass cook and yes I do enjoy cleaning probably more than most people. If you like having a quite housemate that you Will barely see or hear from I'm not ya gal. Would like a housemate that is in the same boat as me. Not saying we have to be best friends but I have had some pretty sucky housemates and would like to avoid that. No preference of your gender or how many housemates as long as your responsible and theres no drama!
I'm hoping to move into a 2 - 3 bedroom apartment or house for at least 6 months, if not longer (would prefer 12 months). I work full time in Brisbane so can be quiet during the week, but on weekends I like to catch up with friends, go to the markets or out for dinner. I also appreciate a bit of down time to myself and can respect if you’d like that too. I like to keep communal areas clean, I don’t smoke and I pay my bills on time. If you think we’ll get along then feel free to get in touch if you have a room available or if you'd like to look for a place together!
International student from Denmark. Starting a Masters Degree in Business (PR) at QUT (Gardens Point campus) in February. Have previously lived alone for 3.5 years and 6 months in a shared house in Newcastle, when I did a semester abroad there. Clean, organised and social. Enjoy cooking and baking, watching TV shows and playing board games.
Originally from Wales, UK. Moved to Oz over 5 years ago. Moving interstate from Dubbo NSW to the Brisbane area. I will have little furniture so would be nice to find something furnished, however i can organise my own bed and furnishings if needs be. Unfortunately i won't be walking in to a job when i move, so it's a little tricky to get work until i am actually living in the area, HOWEVER please do not let this put you off as I will be able to support myself and to pay the rent until i do get employment. I have 1 female desexed Husky called Xena. She is very friendly with people but takes a while to warm to other dogs. I rescued her from a shelter so i am not sure of her history. She is house trained. I can have a good time when the mood suits, but i also respect everyone's privacy and hope you would do the same. I am social and enjoy hanging out with other like minded people. I can be spontaneous! Would be great to have a good group in a house where we can grow to be mates instead of just sharing a home. The odd adventure away together or night out etc.
