Hey everyone! My name is Cibely and I am a 24-yo girl from Brazil. I have been living in Australia for the past 1 year and 2 months and I intend to stay until june/2018 or even longer, fingers crossed haha I am doing a Diploma of Leadership and Management, and working in Hospitality as well, so I have a busy day and would like to have a place to call home at the end of it. I'm clean, tidy and very respectful of other people's personal space and belongings. I enjoy cooking, yoga, hiking and watching movies and TV shows. Would not say no to a glass of wine or going out with my flatmates eventually :) I am looking for a place around Milton, Paddington, Spring Hill or Fortitude Valley. My move in date is flexible too. If you think I would fit in your place, do not hesitate to contact me! Cheers
Hello mate, My name is Guilherme. I'm from São Paulo, Brazil and I intend to catch a plane to Brisbane on November 8th, for study purpose. I'm a very organized person, this is something that was taught by my parents since I was a litle boy, and it was improved when I went to the Brazilian Army. I'm also very friendly and don't have problem to live with other person (prefencialy not brazilians and not at the same bedroom, for privacy reasons). Well, Brisbane is beautifull by photos and videos and I intend to know every single thingh this city can provide me, but, my school is located at Adelaide street, near the Central Station, so if you have some bedroom near Spring Hill, West End or any other place that I could get by bike, it'll be great.
I am a 24 years old business informatics student and techno and house music producer & dj from Berlin, Germany. Having fun and following my passions is what I am about. I love music and I love to spend time with people and things which make me happy. I was born and raised in Berlin which I am very thankful for as it's a very diverse, creative, multifaceted and dynamic city. Still I love to explore new places and to travel the world. I am happy to have the opportunity to spend six months in Brisbane to do an internship there. In my free time I like to hang around with friends, do yoga, cook and just have fun. Please contact me if you think we might be a good team. ;)
Hello ! I'm from Switzerland and I'm 23 years old. I came in Australia to learn English and I will stay till december. I study in Browns school. I'm a funny girl who likes going to party and go shopping. I'm organized and like cleanliness.
Hey! My name's Mat, I'm 23, I'm technically a student but taking a semester off at the moment. In my spare time I'm an artist (painter/ceramicist) and radio DJ (not anywhere fancy, though). I'm into comic books and video games, super keen on Dungeons & Dragons but I'll do Scrabble too if there's drinks. I love cooking and I'm good at making excuses for not going to the gym. I'm mostly quiet but usually up for a chat if you are, and would love to live with people I can be friends with - I like having my own space, but hate when things are awkward. I'm pretty tidy (but not a clean freak), prefer to keep communal spaces neat, love being respectful of others, etc. As mentioned earlier I do a lot of cooking, I'm a vegetarian but I don't mind if you're not, I love the idea of getting the whole house together once or twice a week to have a chat over dinner or brunch or whatever. I'm not a party animal (defs not cool enough) but I'm down for the occasional low-key gathering. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do. I'm pretty much down to live wherever as long as it's not more than an hour away from the city. We've gotta be close to public transport too, since I don't have a car. I'm kind of a night owl, but if you're not easily woken up by stuff like the kettle boiling for coffee, that shouldn't be a problem. Maybe you're awake late at night a lot too. Maybe we can avoid addressing our unhealthy sleep schedules together. Kinda important thing: I'm gay, so you've got to be LGBT friendly and not weird about it. Otherwise, I'm cool to live with pretty much whoever. Second important thing: I have pets! They are a green tree frog and a blue tongue lizard. They each have their own terrarium (think fish tank, but without the chance of accidentally getting heaps of water everywhere). The bluey is quiet. The frog is mostly quiet. Also, as an art student, a certain amount of laziness/social ineptitude is expected but I promise I'll keep the house tidy and always pay my bills on time. If you're still reading - thanks for reading! Hope to hear from you soon.
Hi :) I'm a full-time shift-worker looking to be start or be a part of a share house in January 2018. I've lived in share houses around the world and am now looking to fly the coop in Brisbane! I'm friendly, easy-going, and respectful of others. I'm looking to share a place with similar people who want to live in a happy household. I like to exercise, volunteer, socialise, dance, and read in my spare time. I'm a clean and tidy housemate, always up for a chat. Hoping to live in a space with secure parking and within 20 minutes drive to Chermside, with females /and males, aged 19-32.
Hi, I'm a friendly and smiling 30 years old Belgian girl. I like meeting people and sharing drinks and dinner. But I also enjoy being on my own. I like to go out but I'm not a club lady. I'm really open minded and easy going. I'm currently looking for a short stay l'île a week or 2. Can't wait to meet some new mates. Noémie.
Hi we are a fairly introverted, friendly couple. We are ideally looking for a room each in a share house arrangement and room for us to make and tend a vegie garden is essential. Rob enjoys fishing, gardening, reading, camping, hiking, playing guitar and cooking and Ruby enjoys yoga, drawing and painting, gardening, camping, hiking, playing guitar and cooking. Ruby is a vegan non smoker, non drinker (dont mind about living with non vegans) and Rob is mostly vegan diet but occasionally fish etc and non smoker and very occasional drinker (a beer every few months sort of thing). We are polite, considerate and clean housemates and are hoping to find the same. Rob is a gardener by trade and Ruby is a hairdresser by trade however we are both considering studying again. Prospective housemates must be clean, responsible, honest, bills payed on time, anti-racism, anti-homophobia, anti-classism, pro-environmentalism.. basically pro-basic decency :) smoking outside is okay but seeking a strictly non smoking indoors home. Interested in any and all suburbs, just picked 4 at random. We arrived in Brisbane on the weekend after travelling for the last year and a half. This is our first time living in queensland.
Hi future flatmates I m studying Podiatry at QUT . I moved from Mel to Bris this year so Brisbane is pretty new for me. I m clean , tidy and respect privacy . We are Alvaro and Raquel, a couple from Barcelona, Spain, looking for a double room in a shared house/apartment. I have the Work&Holiday Visa and Alvaro has an Student Visa, so we are going to be studying and working during our time in Brisbane, at least for 9 months. We are looking for a place to call home and we are looking forward to having housemates to become friends with. We are clean and really easy going people. We'd love to enjoy time all together, having dinner, going for a drink or exploring the city, but we are also very respectful of space and privacy. If possible, we are looking for an ensuite room or one with a private bathroom. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
I'm a friendly and polite person, clean, sensible and intuitive. I live in Tasmania at the moment, but I'm looking to venture up to Brisbane for the sunshine and to meet new people. My interests include sports and games (namely basketball), listening to music, binge watching TV series and movies. I also enjoy trying new things, discussing ideas and learning. I'm usually quite reserved but I do open up around the right people (or anyone if I have some drinks). My moving date is very flexible - I can wait as long or as little as needed.
Not in a rush in looking for places. Wanting to move around 1st January 2018. Looking for a couple, both study and work. Interesting in studios, 1 bedroom apartments/units or grannyflats. Budget changes depending if bills are included or not. If all bills and internet included then looking for $380/week maximum. If no bills are included then $300/week maximum. Must be/have: - at least 1 car space - furnished - under $300/week maximum (no bills) - under $380/week maximum (all bills incl.)
I'm a young professional working in the CBD, looking for a room in a flatshare. I'm tidy, responsible, courteous and respectful, and also ask the same of potential flatmates. I have a pretty active lifestyle, and have a pretty time-consuming job - so it's more likely than not that I'll be a very quiet flatmate.
I'm Brazilian, graduated in civil engineering, 25 years old and I came here to study English with the intention of practicing my profession in Australia. I don't smoke, love dogs, i'm geek, like clean environments, don't have problem in relating but I prefer don't share a bedroom.
Hi, I’m Marissa or Riss for short. I’m looking for a place to call home that’s close to the city and close to the trainline or (reliable) buses. I’d love a light airy room and although I don’t mind sharing a bathroom I’d prefer a room with an ensuite. I'm currently in Kedron and looking to move END OF OCTOBER. I admit I can sometimes be irritatingly tidy but I just love a nice tidy home that feels cosy but not cluttered, calm but not bland. Coffee is life and I’m a freak for red wine… I’m still working out how much you can love it without being an alcoholic but considering I get up every day for my Gov job in Bowen Hills, I’d say I haven’t hit the danger zone yet. If you’ve got secure parking or at least something under cover, holla at me – I have a motor bike that is my daily ride and needs somewhere to sleep (no car, just the bike). I moved down a couple of months ago from an 8 year run in Cairns so I’m low on possessions but can pretty easily sort out a bedroom if need be. It’s also been a long time since I’ve explored this city so I don’t plan on being home too much, especially on weekends (I’d love your tips on where to go and what to eat). I love a laugh, which is usually at my own expense. I’d love to live with people who are relaxed, considerate, tidy, and independent but don’t mind a chat or sharing a meal. I love cooking and I’m actually not bad at it but my love for potatoes and pasta in all their carby gloriousness is seriously reducing the number of clothes I own that fit. Everyone usually has a “handy” friend, the one that can back up a trailer, build furniture and deal with bugs etc – I’m that friend. Happy to be listed as a resident with your rental agency but due to the nature of my work (I contract) I’d rather not sign onto the lease as I usually change roles every 3-6 months and work all over the city and surrounding areas. Ideally one of makes contact, I'll come round and have a look, maybe stay for a chat and see if we gel... and go from there :)
I m a 31 brazilian guy, i m here to study and improve my english skills, organized and clean person, i like to ride bike and nature, live near of some park to run its a good idea.
Hey! I've just moved to Bris from the UK and have managed to get a full time job at a media agency so looking for a new home for the next 6 months or so whilst I'm finding my feet. I'm friendly, fun and considerate; an avid tea drinker that enjoys socialising with friends, playing netball and shopping (which could also be considered a bit of an addiction). Looking to live with people who are clean and tidy, are pretty chilled but sociable enough that they'll be up for dinner / drinks every now and again. Keen to explore and find new cafe's, exhibitions, restaurants & bars so anyone up for joining once in a while would be a bonus!
