Hey, I'm Kai! I'm a 22 y.o. from Singapore who is going to study in QUT for 2+ years in 2017 and so I am searching for a place to call home in Brisbane. :) I have done an okay amount of traveling, mostly by myself staying in hostels and so I have no problems with socialising and sharing (although I'm looking for a room all to myself). I am a responsible, clean and tidy individual so you don't have to worry about dishes left in the sink uncleaned or toothpaste smeared on the basin. I'm friendly, open and laid-back so I'm easy to make friends with and hangout. :) Sometimes I like to have a fun night out and sometimes I like to have a quiet evening by myself. I will respect your personal space and hope you do the same for me as well! I like the outdoorsy stuff especially surfing (I'm a beginner and am hoping to surf more!); video games are also my thing and I love hanging out with friends in town in malls, in bars, etc. So dear future roommates, I look forward to meeting you!
Hi I'm Alegria, and I'm moving to Brisbane for a gap year. I will study English, and I am also looking for a part time job. I'm friendly and open-minded, always happy to meet new people!! I love sports, watching movies, music, travel and explore other cultures.
Hello! My name is Brooke and I am from the United States. I am about to move to Brisbane for work starting in November. I am neat and organized. I am also very easy going and friendly! I would like to find a room to rent that is in close proximity to the city. I love any outdoor adventurous activities and exploring new areas. I can't wait to explore Brisbane and I look forward to meeting some new people!
I am a student from Melbourne moving to Brisbane for an internship in the city for three weeks. I am easy going, relaxed and am always up for a chat. I'm looking forward to getting some sunshine up in Brisbane :) I would need a room that is furnished, as I am only staying for a short term.
*Currently I am overseas so sending an email or messaging me through flatmate is a better option for contacting me until 2nd of November. I am a full time PhD student and a sessional academic at QUT. I am well organized and clean at home. I am super respectful to my flatmates and their stuff. Though, I expect the same level of respect from my flatmate(s). I like watching movies, reading books and drinking coffee whenever I am home. I love cooking real food If I am not super tired after work and I like sharing it with others. I don't smoke, I don't crank up the volume, I am not constantly on phone or skype talking to someone for 7/24, I don't leave nasty dishes or crumbles around. I know this listing sounds like it has been written by a grumpy old person though I think it might give you a better idea about who you are going to live with. Cheers!
Hi All, My name is Shaun and i've just come back from my last adventure overseas. I've decided to pack up my stuff and move to a new state and see what Brisbane has to offer. Firstly don't be scared by the fact I'm unemployed as I've quit my job to move. I'm extremely motivated and won't take long to find a job. And on top of that I have savings so I won't struggle to pay the rent in the meantime. I'm not looking to live in a large share house as I've done that before in London and it's not my thing! My first profession is a qualified chef and the second being a thermit welder in the rail industry. Travel is my biggest passion having been to 5 continents and 37 countries so far. I love everything outdoors from hiking, camping, road cycling, running and so much more. Ideally I'd like my budget to be an all in price but always flexible for the right place and right housemates. As I'm driving up from Tasmania I'll have my car. So a place with Parking available is a big thing I need. If you feel like i could be your next friend and flat mate i look forward to hearing from you :)
I'm a Finn in Australia for Working Holiday, landed in Australia two months ago and been living in Brisbane for three weeks now. I recentely started working full-time in Spring Hill district, so I'm interested in moving there and being closer to my work. At the moment I live in a shared flat and share a room, but I would prefer to move to a single room. I'm planning to stay and work in Brisbane for 3-4 months from now, since I really like this city and after that continue my travel. I'm looking for a furnished room with all bills included, wifi is a must. As a tenant, I'm very reliable, tidy, calm, respectful for the flat, and neighbours, don't cause trouble or noise and pay rent always on time. I'm used to living with different kinds of people, sharing the household chores and also becoming friends while sharing an apartment. I have graduated from university three years ago and after that been in working life, so the era of student parties from my part has gone and I represent more peaceful and adult backpacker. In other words, no need to stress about me throwing after parties or crashing your place, since I'm more a fan of a good night sleep. :)
27 year-old journalism student at UQ searching for housemates around my age to live with who are fun, independent and socially like-minded. Although working, I'm always up for being social on weekends. I like to run, head on toadtrips out bush, great at cooking, currently do surf lifesaving on the Gold Coast, takes dance classes and despite being well-travelled to places like the US - have amazing stories to tell. Look forward to hearing from you!
We're a friendly and outgoing couple but also like our times of solitude as well. Both of us will be studying at UQ (business and medicine) so we'll be at the library quite a lot over the semesters. We like to keep our surroundings tidy and are happy to hang out with our fellow housemates for movies nights, dinners etc. Hoping to find and move into a place by the end of January 2017. Based on feedback, the budgeted rental price is our combined maximum not including bills.
Easy going couple looking to share a home with like minded professional(s) working full time. We are in early 30's. We lead an active lifestyle, love socialising and keep fit. Working week is pretty standard - work, gym, dinner, an occasional glass of vino and on weekends we love to hit the water, catch up with mates and go crazy every now and again :) If you would like to know any more feel free to shoot us a msg. I am moving to Brisbane at the end of the year and looking for a team- up, room/ house/flat to rent. Looking for either guys or girls between the ages of 25-35. I am fairly quiet (until you get to know me), easygoing, like alone time and also up for a chat and a social drink. I have shared houses with people before and still remain very good friends with them. I am respectful of other people's things and I would like the same. I don't drink much or go out much, just out here and there for outings etc. with friends for coffee, brekky dates, dinner and others. I'm also keen on a backyard barbie and a few drinks with some music. I am clean but not a clean freak but like it if we help each other out and I am understanding if you need a break. I'd like a place to call home and feel comfortable living. I work in education and I won't be working over the Christmas holidays and am applying for jobs however I will have an income over the holidays. I also am into fitness and looking for someone to either workout too or show me some areas. I am happy to help out around the house and buy my own food and so forth. I will have my own bed.
Hello! My name is Pari, I am 19 years old and I am born and raised in Sweden however I live in Brisbane City now. I am a full time Business student at APM College. Here are some facts about me: - I am responsible and independent and is an open person. - I always do my own cooking, laudry and cleaning. - I am allergic to cats but is an animal lover. - I love coffee. I have more caffeine than blood in my veins. - Things I enjoy doing is, reading, writing, going to the gym, listen to music, dance. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. - either send me a message here or send me a text, please do not call. Thanks! - Pari
I am very friendly but not noisy. Love small dogs although I don't own any pets. I love to cook, relax with some wine and discover new cafes. Very easy going and VERY clean. I am looking to lease a place in February 2017.
Super adaptive to most situations - As I work full time as an accountant, and study on the side - plus am pretty social with others, I may not always be at home a lot. But while I can be quiet and do my own thing, I also have a loud and obnoxious side. In essence, I'm pretty carefree, and would like to move in with those that are similarly carefree. Don't get me wrong, I'll respect set boundaries of privacy and cleanliness, but I definitely don't want to tip toe around my roommate and I'd like a roommate who can be comfortable enough to not tip toe around me.
Im 19 and will be attending uni later next year as well as juggling a job so ill be pretty tired and anti social during the week however the little party girl thats within might come out every now and again during the weekends / uni breaks. I am very relaxed, respectable, clean and always down for a wine/ beer.
Hey hey, my name is Becca/Bec/Rebecca. I am particularly neat/ organised but I do enjoy socialising on weekends and an occasional drink.

Hi there! I'm Katrina :) I'm 26 years old and work full time in the city in Human Resources. I am a very clean, tidy and respectful housemate. My job can be stressful at times so I am pretty quiet during the week (i.e. slobbing out with Netflix, having dinner with friends and doing Pilates) and I like to enjoy my weekends (drinks with friends, shopping, trips to the beach, etc.) I respect my housemates' privacy and personal space but I also like to be social when we are all in the mood! I am looking to either team up to start a lovely new house or move in to an already established house that requires furniture (I have 2 beds, washing machine, fridge, smart tv, sofa, dining table/chairs and outdoor furniture) but could be persuaded to sell if the right house and housemates came along :) I can be flexible with my move date but would need to give my current place at least two weeks notice :) Feel free to drop me a message if you would like to know more about me, look forward to speaking soon! Katrina :)

Happy to garden. Looking for something walking distance to the city so within 3 or so kilometers.
I know it's pretty early but I'm a 24 year old kiwi lass on the hunt for a chilled out abode to call home from early January. I'm moving to Brisbane from Auckland to start a job on the 23 of January so ideally need a place at least a week before then (at least the 13th). I'll be working city centre and I work in recruitment. In return I bring great banter, a chilled out vibe, tidiness, and great cooking (I know everyone says that but for real you will fall in love with my guacamole). I prefer to come home to music playing rather than the TV on and enjoy chilling out with my flatmates over a bottle of red. Would love to live with someone like minded who can show me a bit of the Brisbane life style too :-) I know it's still a couple of months away, but I'm hunting early because I want to secure something before I go. I am happy to skype to have a chat if you like the sound of me.

About me (on the right): 22 year old currently living in Perth, but will be moving over to Brisbane in late December for work. I will ideally need to find a place by late Jan/early Feb, but can move in anytime before then if necessary. I'm a pretty chilled guy who loves some good banter and beer, and is also respectful for other peoples space. Looking for easy going people who are roughly around my age, and have similar interests. Also happy to team up with people. Hit me up if you're interested, cheers.
Easy going, friendly travel professional on the lookout to team up for a move into the South Bank area and surrounding suburbs. I work pretty long hours between my day job and helping my family business in the evenings, so I actually won't be home for most of the day. I enjoy travelling, photography and music. I'm a non smoker and only drink on occasion. I enjoy a good conversation and am pretty outgoing, but I'm also very independent and can keep to myself if needed. About you: Just really looking for someone who is self sufficient, can pay rent on time, is clean around the house and a non smoker. I don't mind if you're a student, working professional or something in between. About the property: I'm ideally looking for a brand new and modern 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment. I also have a car so will need a garage space. As my office sits on top of South Bank Station, the closer to South Bank the better. I have all my own furniture, so all you'll need to bring along is a bed. Should you not have one, I can also provide a double bed.
I'm early 30's with wide ranging interests in world affairs, sport, food, cars, travel, ++.
Hi! my name is Sabrina, I'm 25yo and I'm looking for a private room to stay in Brisbane from Nov 15th to Jan 15th. I'm from Argentina, on a w&h visa, currently living in Sydney. Moving to Brisbane because of my job.
Hi, I'm Kat. I'm 30 and own a stretch limousine company and 2 start up businesses. I work from home mostly but may look at getting an office soon in the city. I'm looking for a place for 6 months possibly longer to home me and my two very small Chihuahua's who stay with me part time. They are very tiny, very friendly and very clean. They don't bark and have their own beds and cage area they live in when I'm not at home. I'm not a party girl as my focus is my work currently but I don't mind being social and active on weekends and getting out of the house with the dogs. If you are a pet lover and have space for us let me know! Happy to work on a trial basis. :)
Hey guys,so basically I'm looking at studying a diploma of sports development next year based at QUT and I'd like to move into a new place around February-April.Ideally I'd like to be close to the city, but anywhere is fine just as long as it's not too far out from the city.I don't drive so getting to and from places I rely on public transport or ubers. I'm pretty chilled, down to earth, clean & quiet.I do like hanging out and watching movies but other than that you'll barely notice I'm home.I like to stay fit and maintain that so I most of the time do meal prep everyday for the next day but I'm happy to cook house meals here and there.I do like to bake and bring home junk food if I stumble across the bakery section in Coles, and I always share the bad food I bring home.lol As mentioned above I'm a clean and tidy person, always cleaning up after myself and don't mind cleaning up after others but not too much.Im very well mannered and have a bubbly personality with a side of goofiness.I don't drink much,I don't smoke and I don't do drugs. In my spare time I like to chill or get outta the house and watch a movie or hangout in the city.I also love to learn about other cultures and languages,Espanol in particular. So yeah feel free to message me if you're interested in teaming up 😊
Hi everyone, I'm a soon to be 21 year old student about to enter my final year. I'm seeking a new share house with a group of relaxed people around my age. I'm quiet and relatively keep to myself but don't mind a chat and a few cheeky beverages if that's your thing. Most of all I know how to operate cleaning materials which means I clean up after myself and the best part is I always pay rent on time. What's not to love? Feel free to contact me!!! Travelling to NZ 19th Nov to 5th December and can move anytime after this! Not before due to uni exams etc
