hi- QUT student, Photography, Music, Beaches, Fun (and study) I'm Jade half Brazilian half German but London raised. I'm pretty into travelling, photography (analog, pinhole) and music: electronic, jazz, blues, afrobeat, hiphop, techno and some chart. Also ALL THINGS BEACH AND WATER AND SURF. Studying business/photography at QUT. Basically just looking for chill, open minded, nice humans with whom to share a house with. I am fun to live with yes (but also organized i promise). Mutual respect is always very important to me and as long as is it to you too i am sure we will live harmoniously together.
Hi, I am currently a FIFO worker (see below). My roster is quite lengthy and want to be as savvy with money as possible - this currently is a expression of interest to see if I can find a decent priced/location/residence that matches my current needs/fiscal outlay. I need to grow up and stop being a drifter/gypsy..... - I am quiet, responsible and clean. - I am a non-smoker, non-party animal and have no pets. - I am active and like to cook (still teaching myself). I like a good laugh and have a sense of humor, I don't mind having a drink from time to time and have an extroverted personality. - I respect peoples belongings and boundaries. - Ideally I am interested in sharing accommodation with one other female/male, within or around the same age group (Not into a frat house scenario or young hooligans partying insistently). - Part of living a nomadic live for the majority of my life I do not own any furnishings, however not opposed to purchasing such things, however at this point in time highly interested in furnished (fully/partial) establishments. - Prefer people around my age. - Close by to gym franchises or gyms in general. - I do own a little SUV, however I am considering selling it currently. Prefer housing in areas close to public transport or short walk to there. Areas interested in - Kangaroo Point, Teneriffe, South Brisbane and CBD... etc- areas close by to the city life :). Bit about me currently - I am FIFO into Darwin on a 4 weeks on 1 week off roster which is not the most ideal roster. I am an avid reader, budding pilot, love food/wine/coffee, travel and planning holidays (love this immensely), finding a good steak (cattle station girl), stockmarket and love getting dressed up for a good night out, considering my job is in jeans and steel caps! Bit of a gym addict as well :). My future plans are to either give up FIFO and settle into mainstream society, normal 9-5 job and a sleep in on weekends :). Thank you Cassandra
Hi there I am an international student who has been living it up in Australia for the past 2 years. I am looking for flatmates who like to socialise from time to time but also understand and respect privacy of people around them Basically, I am an easy-going and fun loving guy who can cook, so if you ever feel like Indian-you won't have to go to a restaurant. Also, my room might get a little messy but the shared areas won't be because I can't stand a dirty kitchen or living room I also have a ps4 and I am weird with parties-I don't like to party a lot but when I do, I have been told that I am fun to be around.
Like to keep things clean and tidy, enjoy socialising but also place a lot of value in respecting the privacy both of ourselves and the people we live with. Always happy to lend a helping hand and always keen to make new friends :) I (Kaisen) was born in Adelaide but spent most of my life growing up in Central Queensland. My partner (Cassandra) was born in Canberra but spent most of her life growing up in the Mid-North Coast of NSW (don't hold that against her) :P Cass is studying Audio Engineering at JMC whilst I have mainly worked in construction since I was 15. I am not currently working at this point as we have just recently moved back to Brisbane but I plan to be working again ASAP. We both enjoy playing games of all sorts, we love music, animals, cooking and learning new things. Looking forward to meeting some like-minded people to live with and are excited for the experience.
I am self sufficient having lived alone but also a great group team player also having lived in small and large share houses. I have lived in communes, art spaces and corporate in city dwellings. I am artistic but work in marketing and study multimedia. I love to cook and used to sharing cleaning and group living with a healthy respect for others and their place. i love to laugh, train daily to build physical and mental health. Meditation, yoga and self development. I love to brainstorm with creative types and share music and alternative ways of living.
My name is Allan, I'm a PhD student at UQ and I am looking for a nice place to stay. I'm an easygoing, tidy and organized person and I would like to share a place with people with these same characteristics.
I am a friendly 23yo from a small town in North Queensland, I am looking to relocate to the big smoke early September in order to live the life that I have always dreamed of. I work in hospitality and hope to secure a position before the move HOWEVER if I am not yet employed I have financial backing for this exact moment in my life that has been in the making for quite some time. I am determined to begin the next step in my life and I would be very grateful if someone would give me a chance. My name is Becky and I love meeting new people and making friends, My day to day routine includes working, reading, watching tv, cooking, listening to music, petting animals and on the weekends I like to go on adventures! I love trying new food, watching movies and just exploring the city. I am a huge Harry Potter fan and my favourite band is still Fall Out Boy but don't hold that against me. I am extremely easy to get along with and I am very respectful of others :)
I've lived in a few cities in a few countries now. Most recently, I lived in Singapore for 3 months, but excited to be back in Australia. I'm well versed when it comes to sharing a living space with others. I'm respectful, courteous, friendly, with a great sense of humour. I've never had any complaints :) I work reasonably long hours (as a business consultant), and sometimes travel interstate. So between that, sport and my social life, I don't spend a great deal of time at home - bonus for you if you're a homebody :) But feel free to ask me any questions. Please note, I am looking for unfurnished places, thanks. I am also looking to team-up and find a place. I have all the lounge, laundry, and kitchen equipment. So, if you're just looking for a room to call your own, then I might just be the housemate you're looking for :)
I'm a happy and cooperative person, who likes cycling, meditation, outdoors activities. I'm in Brisbane for study. I'm looking for a calm place-room close of my school that is in the center of the city.
29 yr old male who is honest, outgoing, clean and easy-to-live-with. In Brissie only for a short 4 week stint for work, and looking for a place over this period of time starting from Sunday 23rd July. Easy-going, active and sociable.
I'm an exchange student from Austria and studying at QUT for the second semester of 2017. I'm easy going and friendly. I like to socialize but sometimes need some time for myself as well. I like being outside, to go for hikes or for walks and I love food. I'm looking for a home with nice people where I can feel comfortable.
Hey! My name is Mariah, I'm 22, originally NSW, but I've been living in Brisbane for almost 2 years now. I spend most of my time working and studying through the week. I like to keep to myself generally, but I enjoy a chat over some wine or food. Really just looking for clean, respectable housemates, I would prefer a place with my own bathroom, but swing me a message anyway and we can have a chat
Hey guys! I'm Nickie from Thailand. I have been here for a year and 8 months. I'm living in Sunshine Coast but I study in Brissy. So I decide to move to Brisbane on 3rd Sep 2017. I m looking a room for rent. Im easy going , friendly , drink sometimes and party :) feel free to talk thank you very much everyone :)
I'm Lucrezia, optometrist from Italy. I'm gonna move to Brisbane for study and work both. I've already lived away from home so I'm able to manage house works and to respect other people's needs. I love music and I play acoustic guitar, so I hope you'll enjoy music too :) I also love sport, healthy food, of course wine specially shared with friends, and all simple things about life. I'm looking for an easy-living place with nice and funny people.
Hi! My name is Julia, I'm from Sweden, moved to Brisbane last year to study at QUT. I love sports, yoga and traveling. I'm easy going and positive. Looking for a private room, close to the city and QUT Gardens Point campus. Flexible with move in date. Cheers
Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 36 year old single gay guy. I recently moved back to Brisbane after spending some time in Sydney and Melbs. I'm originally from Sydney. I have just scored a full time role with Cash Converters in Taringa at the head office. I'm a bubbly, optomistic guy. I'm not a party animal, but love a glass of red. I'm very clean too. I actually love cleaning. Why i don't know. lol. I lived in Canada and NYC for almost 10 years so i have a kind of aussie / canadian accent apparently. Would love an ensuite, but totally open to the right place with the right flatmate. First world problems right... :) I would love to live with someone who is more extroverted than introverted, someone after a friend more than just sharing a living space together. I'm happy and chatty most of the time, and like similiar. I like optomists, rather than pesimists. Idea of the perfect flatmate: Happy, says " How you doing? ", loves to catch up and chat the end of the day, watch a movie together, not into drugs at all ( I never seen illicit drugs do anything good for anyone ) and loves a glass of red. Non judgemental and gay friendly. Someone who supports the gay community, even better! If you love Rupaul's Drag Race, i will love you. :) - I don't hook up much, maybe once in 3 months - but you would be cool that i'm getting laid and visa versa. lol. Some gay guys can be really snooty and uptight which i dislike. Try living with gay guys in Sydney - you leave one fork in the sink and they need to take a Valium to calm down. Worst flatmate for me: Complete gamers, introverted and shy, rude and just says " Hi " once a day and nothing else, does everything to excess - if your a gay guy that must drink 2 bottles of wine and get smashed every time you have a drink and stumble in at 7am, good for you, but at 36, i'm a little passed that. No judgement - I was like that in my 20's, but not now. I don't like gay guys that have a crabby/cunty attitude for absolutely no reason either ( trust me, its common in Oz ) lol.
Hi I am looking for a new accommodation as I need to move on 7 Aug 2017. I prefer to have my own room. I am living on working holiday visa and still have 4 more months left. I am a super easy going person, laughter and very tidy girl, little bit OCD. I am working hard as well as party. I am living here simply just wanna have fun!!! Oh, I love cooking as well.
I'm social and would like to get to know my housemates, but I also have no problem giving space to others. In addition, I also would help clean and take care of matters around the house such as grocery shopping. I am a very polite guy, and very respectful to other people around me. I am an international student and very curious about Australia and what to do here, in terms of events, social life, and landmarks. In my free time, I like to go exercise, hike, dance, eat, pretty much any thing fun and adventurous.
