I'm Jono, a 22 year old law graduate working full time and looking for a roommate(s) to move into an apartment in the Brissie CBD so I can walk to work and avoid the stitch up that is Translink bus fares. I've lived and worked on campus at Griffith Uni all throughout my degree so I've got a lot of experience with communal living and can have a good time! Love anything to do with the outdoors and fitness. Looking for people that are not only keen on being roommates but who are down to grab a beer every now and then and just have an all round good time! I'm a real Jamie Oliver in the kitchen so hit us up, you won't regret it ;)
I am 24yrs and work full-time in retail. Looking for a room to rent, max rent $165/week not including bills/internet and unfurnished. I have recently graduated from QUT where i studied my masters of social work. I am reliable, super easy going, friendly and courteous. I love spending my time off out and about; the beach, hiking, going to markets, brunching, hanging out at new farm park and picnics with friends. By night i love to cook at home and watch a good netflix series with a glass of vino or seek out a new bar with delicious food and drink. I have flat shared for a number of years now and always love getting to know my housemates. I enjoy being out and about and love meeting new people - however in saying that I am not a party person and will always respect the home and your space too :)
Friendly, open-minded, respectful and fun! We are two friends who enjoy traveling, exploring new places, going to the beach, having a chat over a glass of wine, cook together or just chill watching a movie :) We are both clean, sociable but also respectful to others privacy. We are in Brisbane on Working Holiday visa and will stay for at least three months before exploring the rest of this beautiful country. We are looking for a room we could share together, 160 per person per week.

hi everyone , i am joel and i am from india. I am always open for new friends because i like making friends.I want a room in a flat where other people like me stay, with whom i can spend some quality time. thank you.
Hello! :) My partner and I are looking for an affordable granny flat or self contained studio suitable for two people with rent under $230 a week which will be split between us. It does not matter to us how small the accomodation is as long as it has private cooking facilities, bathroom, onstreet or offstreet parking and ALL BILLS must be included in the price. If there is air conditioning that would be a plus too! :) At the date of the move in july my partner will be 19 and i will be a month away from 18. We are both responsible, reliable and quiet tenants. My partner is a vet nurse and will be working full time while ,I myself, will be studying law/creative industries at QUT as well as having a parttime job. We are both christians and have good morals such as not going out drinking and partying pr smoking or using coarse language so we are both mature and are looking for a suitable, affordable, private place to stay to study and work. We are looking for somewhere to stay for over a year +. If you think your place is similiar to what we are looking for ,please send me a messsage :) thankyou so much for your time and hope to hear from you soon.
Pretty down to earth and laid back, clean & tidy. Engineer working fifo, so will only really be around on the weekends. Non-smoker. Enjoy a good beer or glass of red.
I am a house proud, domesticated professional who works too many hours. I have just moved to Brisbane to take a role with a CBD business, and am looking for a place until my wife works out her current contract in Perth in about 6 months time. I don't smoke, and seldom drink. I like to keep fit (when my stupid working hours allow me), and really enjoy the great outdoors. My culinary skills are not that flash, but I am looking forward to improving on them over the next 6 months. I have spent the last two years sailing across the Pacific with my wife on our boat, and am now looking for some extra-curricular activity to replace that excitement - not sure what that will be yet, but I am looking forward to doing the research. I am looking for a place that is an easy public transport commute to the CBD, sharing with a mature (in age or mind set) person of either gender.
I am brazilian 23 years old. Currently doing Masters at UQ I am generally very chilled, I love having fun, but I am also very responsible at the same time. So I have a good balance between work and entertainment. Ideally flatmates would also be chilled, fun, outgoing and hardworking as well. Would be also ideal to be studying at UQ as well (BSc, Msc, PhD)

Any questions, don't hesitate to ask! Looking forward to hearing from you! Caiti and Fergus
Hey Im a 30 year old professional female from Melbourne. I have recently moved to Bris to begin studying for my career change and looking for a 'home' to live in (cliche but true). I want to share a house with people who are up for a wine, dinner, chats etc. I have shared plenty of homes and spent a fair but of time time in Bris over the last four years, so have a small social network already. I am pretty easy going and enjoy the company of most people. I like to be social, but anticipate i will be pretty busy next year with studies, placements and working. Would love to chat further if i sound like someone that could fill your room! Cheers Meg - worth mentioning, i am looking for a room that is reasonably large so i can fit a desk etc in there.
We are a friendly, self contained, clean and tidy English couple looking for someone to live with over the next four months while we are working full time in Brisbane. We will be travelling from July so 4 months would be perfect. We spend the majority of our time exploring Brisbane and the surrounding coasts on evenings and weekends, otherwise cooking/contacting family and friends back in the UK. Please message if you think your add would be suitable for us :) Thanks
Moving from Cairns to Brisbane in early February and am ideally looking for a furnished room in an apartment sharing with only 1 other person or someone to team-up with and rent a fully furnished apartment!! I am fairly laid back, I enjoy keeping fit, heading out to find new cafes and things to do...love coffee and food (especially breakfast) I like my home to be peaceful and relaxed and a place I can switch off and have time out...so no party animals please!! I do enjoy having my own space however won't mind the occasional wine on the balcony and a chat or movie night!! I work as a pilates instructor which involves some early mornings, some late nights and weekends so I won't be around that much!! I have lived in many shared situations before and am very respectful of my housemates personal space, I am very clean and tidy and am especially conscious of this in common areas and expect my housemate to be the same!! Send me a message if you'd like to know more 😊😊
I'm an international student of International Business, a tennis player, an animal lover (most of them), an easy-going person who enjoys spending time with her friends, and really tidy and great person.
Hi there, we are a group of friends looking for a nice quiet place to live near the city centre. We are a couple (Juan Sebastian and Alexandra) and our friend Karel. The place should have two bedrooms and we don't mind sharing one bathroom and it would be great if the place have some sort of green area or balcony. Preferably furnished or at least with beds and a few things here and there. Internet/wifi is quite important. We are pretty easy going and responsible. We are also Australian permanent residents and we all have great sense of awareness. Thank you for considering us to live in your, hopefully our, home. Please contact me by email as I will be overseas until the 3rd of March. Thank you heaps!!!
Somos estudiantes, muy ordenados y limpios. Nos gusta cuidar las cosas. Muy agradables, no hacemos desorden. Queremos aprender y practicar el Ingles. Somos puntuales. Queremos buscar un sitio donde cumpla todas esas caracteristicas.
Hi future flat mate! I'm Christian from Germany and in Brisbane for my semester abroad at QUT Botanic Garden - I'm single, tidy, friendly, non-smoker and enjoying life. Just text me! Cheers, Christian :)
We are quiet, yet friendly. Always clean up after ourselves and are responsible with the property. Girlfriend goes to QUT in the city so looking for a place that makes her commute easy.
I am a 22 year old single gal, studying to be a Naturopath and working in hospitality part time! Trying to sort my life out and move closer to my place of work and study = more sleep-in time and less transport $/road rage. I have been living in shared accommodation for the past 4 years, so I know how to co-exist in a respectful and stress-free manner. I am keen to make new friends, socialise and have fun with my new housemate's, but don't fret I also love my own company and will respect your space and quiet time as well! I am looking for short term accommodation as I am moving to the coast in June/July, so finishing up somebody's lease or filling a gap would be ideal! Ideally looking for a place in New farm, Tenerife, valley area with minimal bond and preferably without signing a lease! Contact me if this living sitch could float your boat!
I am a international student who is currently studying Engineering in the QUT. I spend a lot time in the uni. Also, I am trying to find a part time job to pay my daily cost. As an international student, I really need people show me the rules and to be company. Improving my English as well.
Hey! I'm an italian PhD student who likes living with other people in a nice flat with a friendly environment. I have to study quiet a lot but on my spare time I love to hang out and do some activities like hiking, skiing, surfing. I like to have a chat and share a glass of wine with my flatemates but I'm also respectful of everyone's needs.
Hi! I'm Catt, I study nursing full time and run my own small craft business so I am usually pretty busy. I'm super clean and keep to myself mostly but I'm happy to have people over and socialise too, definitely not a party person however I am fine if you are! I love to cook and would be happy to share meals! I have a gorgeous little black kitty so I need to stay somewhere that allows pets. She is clean and very shy and quiet so you probably wont even know she is there unless you want a little cuddle! I don't smoke and I only drink socially. I am happy to live with smokers. :)
I am a clean, upbeat, and quiet lady who is more than content in my room doing my own thing. I work part time and to save hard for one last Europe or America round trip. I am a very friendly person, if not shy to begin with, but once you have me as a friend I am glue and there for you through thick and thin. I come with a plus one; A little year old Calico kitten called Jenga, so pet friendly house have to be must. She is fine with dogs (except puppies for some reason) and loves people. Fully trained with adorable quirks.
Hi! I'm a 22 year-old French guy and I'm doing a Master of Management at University of Queensland. I like to chat with my roomates, watch movies and go out from time to time. I'm also clean, quiet and very tidy. I love music, I play the guitar, I like to play many sports and to do some magic tricks for fun. See you! Nicolas
Hello!! I'm Eliza, I'm 21 years old. I'll pretty well say what everyone else does, but it is true. I am a super respectful and tidy person (no really, I'll do your dishes if you leave them out but I don't mind - as long as you tidy up sometimes). I'm a very sarcastic person and most of the time I'm laughing. I work full time in Indooroopilly, and I would like to be within a fifteen minute drive to work. My current 45 minute+ commute is literally driving me nuts. Pun intended. I would genuinely like to hang with my future 'roomies' - however I do like my own time as well. I'm not too much of a partier, so if it's a party household then we won't suit. However I would partake in the occasion drink of a night time with my room mates. My max budget is $250 p/w including bills. I can move in April, however that can be moved forward a little. I would like more of a long term lease as well. This will be my first time moving out but I'm very independent so there won't be any dramas. Please feel free to message me if my little novel above didn't cover anything. :)
Hi, My name is Mai and I am currently in the process of re-repatriating back to Australia from an overseas work assignment. I'm looking for short term accommodation as I will be working towards another overseas assignment. I work full time in the city Monday to Friday 0800 - 1700. However my role requires frequent travel and I enjoy travelling personally so there may be times I will not be in the country from a few days to a few weeks at a time. I like to keep a busy life between work and getting out and about. I enjoy the odd wine with dinner or after work with friends, but by no means a 'party animal'. I do enjoy the odd chat / catch up with friends and like minded people but am also conscious of other peoples space and I am very comfortable with being in my own company. The space I am looking for would be preferably; - furnished - bills shared (if not already included in the rent) - internet access - parking space (off street is fine) I consider myself 'house proud'. I'd like to ensure the home is neat, clean and comfortable. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out! Looking forward to hearing from you! Mai
Hey guys! I am a 22 yo student from France and I'll be studying IT-related topics at QUT (Gardens Point) for 4 months. I have been moving to Australia alone and I really like meeting new people and places! I'm really sociable (as long as my English skills can follow, though), I also like hanging out with friends to have a beer on a terrace. I have been living in share houses for the past two years so I know how to keep my room and kitchen clean and tidy (no worries, I'm not a maniac!). I also like to cook French food (with wine, ofc). Outdoors is where I like spending most of my time, whether it be for hiking, kiteboarding or just wandering around. Especially when the weather is as nice as the one in Brisbane! Hope to seeing you guys soon!
Hi there! ;) I am Grégoire form France. I have a master in Agrifood and have worked in a french frozen food manufacturing company during one year in the supply chain service. I have been living in Brisbane for 4 months now while studying english in order to improve my level and pass the ielts. I am now looking for a job (with my WHV) and a furnished accommodation. My budget is 200$ including all bills. I have a preference for an accommodation without a landlord/manager inside the house for the simple reason that I had to suffer extreme rules in my previous share house which were extremely stressfull (shower for less than 5min, 15min washing option only for my clothes, internet box arbitrary shut off at 10 pm in order to not have the least DEL turn on in the house, no fan nor aircond...) so if you have this kind of limitation or any curfew, please don't send me an offer, living in a relax and cool atmosphere is my priority number 1. I will be staying maximum until the end of July in Brisbane, however I have indicated a lenght of stay of 4 weeks because I don't want to be locked here if I don't find any job after one month. I'd like also to have the possibility to park a bike because I will probably do some deliveries in the meanwhile I obtain a full-time job. Otherwithe I am a chill person who like to share beers or BBQ with friends. I really like domestic animals. I am also clean and tidy for shares area and take a bit more freedom for my own room cause I don't really like when all is perfectly well-placed. Thanks for reading! :)
Gday I'm Kathryn and work part time as a Registered Nurse at the Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital. I do shiftwork and sometimes work weekends. In my spare time I enjoy going out for a drink or two at my favourite bars, catching up with friends and family over dinner, swing dancing and checking out live music. I'm always up for trying new things and have an easy going personality!
Hello there, I am going to be pursuing my PhD in Creative Industries at QUT beginning this February. Coming from India, I am looking forward to explore Brisbane and meeting new people. I am independent, clean, great cook and social in nature. Loves the beach, travel, exploring new places, food joints and people. Searching for a quiet place that lets me do my research and is comfortable with basic necessities..
Not a party animal, but I'm very social. Would like to live with a group of people of similar age and lifestyle as me. I am a clean and tidy person.
Hey hey, this girl is in need of a place to call home with some cool house mates as I'm moving to Brisbane from Melbourne! I've quit my office job and have decided to take advantage of the current lease ending early March in Melbourne. My intentions are to drive up (ROAD TRIP!!) and settle in by early April. I'm planning on scoping out the Gold Coast and Brisbane. I'll get a full time job and go from there. But need not to worry, rent and bills will be always be paid timely. I am very open minded and down to earth, love a good and sometimes a deep chat if the couple of beers takes me there. I'm respectful, treat others how Id like to be treated. Fun, in that I love trying and learning new things. Live for spontaneous day adventures (hikes bike rides, keen to learn to surf) and just making the most of the opportunities the day presents us. Some may say I'm a bit of a hippie. However I try to live consciously, making small changes to practices around the home and on the go. I love dogs, so pretty relaxed about pets. Message me if you have any questions or think I would be a pretty cool addition. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Full-time student at UQ studying Biomedical Science/Genetics. I work part-time as a personal trainer. I would love to find housemates who don't just live together but actually become friends and can hang out have a beer/wine with or go for a run together. I spend most of my time at uni/work and love going to the beach on the weekends if I don't have work. I am very clean, tidy and respectful and am looking for similar housemates. Ideal place will have own bedroom and bathroom (unfurnished) as well as somewhere to park my car. Somewhere close-ish to UQ/city/river would be great. Let me know if you have a room which you think would be a good match!
Hi, I am moving from Sydney to Brisbane for a new job. I am a 23 year old engineer who will be working full time. I am keen to meet new people and explore Brisbane. I can offer baked goods in exchange for good company. Ideally looking for a place in a share house with similarly aged professionals. Don't want a party house but would love somewhere social where flatmates get together for a meal or a drink. Cheers
Hello there : ) My names Alex, Im an easy to get along with guy, I play guitar and Im a huge gaming enthusiast, Im looking for work at the moment until I start studying game and 3D design mid year. Hi! My name is Julia and I'm a 23 year old in my final year of uni. I'm originally from Sweden, but I have lived in Australia for almost 4 years. I have an active lifestyle and like to keep myself busy. I'm clean, reliable and will always pay rent on time. I'm an easygoing person that like and respect privacy, but also would enjoy to get to know my roommate/roommates over occasional meals/drinks/activities.
Im a friendly guy, very relaxed. My world is about being a Personal Trainer, when I'm not training clients in the gym, I have to do boring bookwork but that is done mostly in the gym. I like to cook but do struggle with motivation. I have a good network of friends but I mostly do my socialising out of the house. I like to have fun, make the most of things I say :0 G
- Relaxed and easy to live with - Clean, tidy and organised - Focused on my career and pursuing my interest in business - Quiet and respectful of other's space - Always enjoys a good laugh and chat
Hey there! I recently landed in Brisbane. I'm an international student and i'll be starting my masters degree programme at UQ, Herston so i'm generally looking for a place close by that's not too tiny. Once i settle in and my programme starts i intend to take on a part-time job for a little extra. I'm very open-minded, sociable and generally can get along with just about everybody. Sometimes when i get socially awkward i start to talk and then i just don't stop so you just gotta give me the look and i'll understand (haha). I don't smoke. I'm very considerate and deeply respectful of fellow housemates and particular about cleanliness and hygiene. I love learning about new cultures and languages! Cheers! :)
I’m a med PhD/ neuroscientist recently back from the states for a sabbatical. I’m House trained and clean but not at all anal. I read a lot though I'm not a homebody, I work normal hours in an incubator space. I love to hang out, cook (once a souse chef), philosophize over a glass of wine and have a bit of fun preferably with, empathic, humble, self-aware, progressive, respectful people. I’m pretty chill and easy going but passionate and engaged with the world. I’m a scientist but still very much a people person and like to think I’m more thoughtful than reactive. If I’m what you’re looking for, give me a yell, it'd be cool to hear more about you guys and see the place. Troy
Hi! My name is Eliza, I'm from Brazil. I'm going to Brisbane in June and I'm looking for a room for 5 months. I'm 38, a mature woman with a young spirit. Go to Australia is a dream. So my time in this wonderful country will be too precious for me.
