Jhana Allan

Hi, my name is Jhana, I'm a musician, music teacher and disability support worker. Moving from little old Uralla to the big smoke of Newcastle for the music scene.

I'll be starting training for a job on the 9th of Feb so keen to move around that date. I like a friendly cosy and communal household where it feels like family. I'm very aware of other people's spaces and will keep shared spaces clean. I'd love to contribute to a garden if there is one.

I love all animals, so bonus points if you have a fur baby! I tend to do a bit of music practise and songwriting at home, so hopefully that can work out? I play mandolin, violin, guitar and piano and sing. I am also mindful of not practising at odd hours of the night.

I'm fairly politically lefty and like a good deep and meaningful conversation, as well as just talking shit and being silly. I'm also quite introverted and nerdy. I love bushwalks and camping and festivals. I'm sober, do yoga and meditation, and love going to the gym. I drink a shitload of coffee, I love art, books, music, movies, pop culture, and a good kitchen boogie. I am definitely a queer ally and love the queer community.

I wouldn't be averse to a chill house party, but not really looking for a big party house. I might potentially organize a couple of house concerts in the year if you would be cool with that? Keen to move in with other creatives.
