Broken Bones, Big Heart: Seeking Wheelchair-Accessible Home & Kind Housemate
Hi, I’m Joel—29, 6’6”, artist, stage performer (currently on pause—ouch!), and all-around creative soul. I’m on the hunt for a wheelchair-accessible place and a housemate with a little extra kindness to spare.
After a road accident put me in hospital for the last month, I’ll be using a wheelchair for the next 6 weeks while I heal from multiple surgeries (my old place had way too many stairs for that).
I’ll need a home where getting around is easy, and I’d deeply appreciate a housemate who’s able and willing to help out from time to time—mainly with things like shower transfers or getting in and out of the house.
Who am I? I’m open-minded, easygoing, musical, and passionate about cooking, nature, animals, and exploring. I love connecting with new people and making even the toughest times into an adventure.
If you’ve got room in your home—and a little in your heart—for someone who’s physically recovering but full of spirit, let’s chat! Maybe we can turn this recovery into one of those unforgettable detours: challenging, a little bit whimsical, and ultimately a story we’ll both want to tell.
Let’s talk if you think we could make a good team (bonus points if you play an instrument, have pets, or enjoy spontaneous kitchen concerts).
Your new broken-boned friend,
Joel
