Irene

Hi! My name is Irene, and I’m from Catalonia, Spain.

I consider myself a fun person who enjoys making plans with others, but at the same time I’m quite calm and really value having time for myself.

I’m curious and eager to discover new places and meet new people. I love literature, arts, reading and cinema, and I’m currently writing a screenplay. I’m a communicator and cultural manager with a master’s degree in gender studies, although honestly it hasn’t been working out very well lately hahaha. I’m not even sure if that’s still “what I am,” so that’s why I’m here, in Australia, to rediscover myself in other places!

I was a scout for many years, I love the mountains, and I’m from Girona, on the Costa Brava, so I’m also very much a sea person.

Friendships are very important to me, and I really enjoy sharing time with others: chatting, dancing, going for walks, etc.

I like board games, I get a bit grumpy when I lose, but it passes quickly haha. I’ve worked serving ice cream for many years.

Until now I’ve been living in Barcelona, very happy there, but also feeling ready for something new.

I practice pole dance and I’d love to find a school there :)

My priority in Australia is to feel comfortable, to find a place I can truly call home and feel at ease.
