Hi! I’m Giulia, a 26-year-old PhD student from the UK who will be doing a 2-month placement at ANU, and I’m looking for a friendly, cosy and relaxed home in Canberra from early April.
I’m ideally looking for a double room in a shared flat with 1–2 flatmates, preferably close to Civic / inner suburbs or with good public transport.
During the week I’ll be working full time, but in the evenings I’d love to come home to a place where we can chat over dinner, read, or just relax together. I’m friendly, clean, and respectful of people’s space, and I’m hoping to find a home where we can be more than just housemates.
In my spare time I enjoy:
Wine, pints, or dinner out, brunch on weekends,
exploring the city, travelling, and trying new activities,
chill nights in as much as social ones.
I value a calm, positive home and people who enjoy sharing the space while respecting each other’s routines.
