I'm an Adelaidian food and beverage geek who currently works in a wine & beer laboratory. I will be moving to Canberra to complete a PhD on edible insects at the CSIRO. I like to relax in the evening by changing into activeware, and watching YouTube videos of elite athletes whilst I eat cheese. I am often up for random activities (always happy to be a +1 in a random game). In Autumn I enjoy edible mushroom foraging and getting out in nature. I enjoy cooking and pretending to enjoy wine. I also really enjoy growing food (if you have the space). If you are looking for a reliable, friendly, and tidy housemate (and have a similar vibe) - please feel free to shoot me a message.
Hey! I'm Krystal and I'll be moving to Canberra for full-time work. I'm a super easy-going, flexible and friendly person looking for a homey place to live. I love cooking, hiking, drinking copious amounts of tea, eating (laksa, dumplings!) and travelling (a lot). I'd love to join a friendly and social sharehouse who are all for boardgames/movie/dinner nights. I also have many ideas for a veggie patch/herb garden! Please note: I’m not looking to move until 1st Feb.
I'm originally from Sydney and came here for a public service role. I'm looking for a place from about 27th Dec. I'd consider going long-term in a good situation. My main interest is health and well-being, I keep fit, I've studied classical yoga and am slowly heading in that life direction with some side-trips along the way. I like exploring the outdoors, mainly in the cooler months. I probably have a Netflix addiction. I'm easy to get on with and happy to chat about life and be a good housemate, although I'm fairly self-contained and would always have something to research. Or Netflix. I've got a handful of friends in Canberra and would always be happy for more but I'd also not have any expectations about that. I take people as they come, and your home time is probably your chill time too. I can point to some references from a related website if that helps. Feel free to ask anything you like :)

Hey guys! I’m Faraz, 26 and from Adelaide. I’m looking to move to Canberra mid-late January to start full-time work. Ideally looking for 1 or 2 people to team up with and get a 2-3 bedroom apartment around the Kingston area.
I am a 21 year old student from Sydney who is moving down to Canberra to begin a PhD at the Australian National University (ANU). I am not particularly fussy about the suburb I move to in ACT, so please feel free to reach out if you're within 20-ish minutes from ANU. I am someone who is very easy to live with as I am very independent, organised, tidy, relatively quiet, but also sociable and easy to get along with. I also do not smoke or drink alcohol. I will be at uni full-time and suspect that I will spend the vast majority of my time there. Ultimately, I am looking for a place to stay where I can sleep, shower, use the kitchen in the mornings and evenings, and be able to relax. I would also enjoy socialising with my housemates here and there too, but am happy to provide people with the privacy and space they need as well. I am looking to spend around $175-$200 (maximum). I am looking for a place to stay for at least the first semester but ideally for the first year (2020). The specific start date for my moving would be the 22nd of February.
Hi, I am fifty six and get along with people of all ages; most of my friends are in their thirties. I have lived in few share places, with some friends and also did some house-sitting over the last four years. I like to socialise and spend time with friends. I plan to do study next year. In the past I have done counselling, retail, public service work as well as self-publishing five books on Amazon. I like music gigs, art and movies and I guess you could call me a spiritual person. I have been involved in the LGBTQI community and also with the Refugee Action Committee. I am just overcoming chronic fatigue and I have a peripheral vision loss but am quite functional. I hope to find the right people in the right place. Thank you.
Hi! I'm Tuva, currently working part time as a techincal support engineer and studying full time at UC (Marketing Communications). I'm looking to move out at the end of December or early January, and would prefer to be able to stay for around ~6 months at this time.
Hi, I have a BSc in Biomedicine and I will go to the ANU to do research in neuroscience. I am looking for a room from the end of Jan until the end of Aug. I am friendly and clean. I like to enjoy nature and play sports. As I am Spanish, I also love to cook! Thanks, Ana
