Moved to Canberra from Sydney 4 years ago and recently returned from a few months working in South Korea. I'm a public servant at DFAT and spent my first few years living in a share house in Ainslie. I'm clean and easygoing. Very happy to have a drink and chat (I've got a growing wine collection that's very shareable) but also understand the need for personal time and space. I'm a big sports fan (Swans, Man United are my teams) but I usually go elsewhere to watch matches and yell at the TV. Can do more than 6 months if preferred, just put that down as a minimum.
We are two females currently studying at ANU and working part time. We are friendly, tidy and organised. Love chilling out with good company over tea, coffee or a gin and tonic. We both enjoy a wide variety of music, especially jamming to groovy old school tunes.
My name is Michael, I am clean, tidy and understand and respect share areas of a house and pull my weight when it comes to cleaning. I have lived in share houses previously at uni in Newcastle and when I first moved to Canberra (2013). I have been living in my own apartment for the past 3 years. Currently I am in Reid and paying $410 a week (excluding bills), my rent and all bills have always been paid on time. Honestly looking for a share place to save some money. I work full-time in the APS. My work sometimes involves travelling so there may be points in time were I will be gone (but will still be paying rent/bills). I am pretty laid back and in my spare time like to be out and about with friends. Cheers, Michael
I'm very responsible, respect, Super clean, pay rent on time. I rent my own flat in Sydney, and now looking for a room or studio in Canberra for a job offer. Ideally somewhere close to the CBD. I love healthy food and life style. My work will be busy and do need a quiet place with mindful flatmates to live with. No party house please. I spend most of time outdoors on the weekend or to Sydney. If you have similar life style, please leave me a message. Thanks.
I'm an engineer from Sydney moving to Canberra to work full-time. I am responsible, independent and clean up after myself. I'm pretty social most of the time but I also like some space to myself. I enjoy cooking all kinds of food and go to the gym on most days. I'm also a brass musician and practice once or twice per week. I will be working shifts for my job, so I will sometimes require some quiet throughout the day so that I can sleep.
Hey I'm George! I'm from Sydney and new to Canberra. I'm a graphic // web designer starting a job at the ABC for their political news team. I'm 27, I play the cello sometimes, keen cyclist and love to share a red wine with housemates. I've had to leave my brilliant house mate family in Sydney so looking for an equally brilliant bunch here in Canberra. George :)
I'm a history student at the ANU looking to move out at the end of this year. I'm quiet, clean and sensible. I'm relatively active on campus and love to be in different spots to study, so I'll generally be out of your hair. But I'm also always down to chill, chat and rant! I'm a vegetarian, love biking, and am a big fan of Annabel Crabb and Leigh Sales!
I'm a fourth year student at ANU originally from Melbournebut here to study. I work part time as a swim instructor. I am fun and easygoing and enjoy sharing a meal or watching TV but also understand the need for space. Dependable I will do my share of the work. I also love animals so have no issue there :)
Hi there, A little bit about me - I've moved back to Australia after eight years living overseas to take up a job with the APS. Like most people on here, I'm fully housetrained (I actually like cleaning!), have lived in great sharehouses and enjoy a healthy mix of spending quality time with housemates over a glass of wine and giving people their own space after a long day. Unlike most, I'm married but my husband will be living in Belgium for the next 12 months while he looks for work in Australia and applies for a permanent residency visa - so I'm looking for a place to live for that period before he moves over. He'll probably visit for a few weeks here and there when he gets time off work to visit Australia, but wouldn't be a permanent fixture (except on Skype) Other than that, I'm pretty quiet around the house apart from a few dinners with mates, a fan of great box sets, devour books, enjoy cooking, travelling and a good glass of red after work. If you have anymore questions, or need more info, please feel free to get in touch on email or phone. Thanks in advance, Katrina Murray
My name is Natalia, 25years old, I am currently in France and I plan to move in Australia in the beginning of November for a 6 month stay. I am a PhD student in Physics and I will be in ANU for my last 6 months of PhD. I am quiet and respectfull of ones privacy and freedom. I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh.
Looking for someone to fill the void of "awesomeness" in your share house or setting up your own? We might be the girls for you! We are both easy going and have been nominated as MVP housemates from past share houses. I (Krista) am currently studying Medicine at ANU so spend most of my time with my nose stuck in a book, and Katie works full time as an orthodontist assistant in the City. I am originally from Canberra but completed a degree in the USA and Katie is originally from the USA so comes with her very own US accent! Most evenings we are out at various sports practices. But when we are home we are usually cooking or enjoying some quality Netflix (slash studying). We are up for the occasional housemate dinner and have some culinary skills to bring to the table. We are both well-trained housemates and are clean and respectful. We do our own thing but always up for a chat and some banter. We've also come to the realization (with the help of our livers) that we are too old to party, so you need not fear about that. Overall, we are pretty chilled to live with and are looking for somewhere that is conducive to suffering through Med but also friendly. If that sounds like your place / the place you envision send us a message!
Hi all, Social and considerate 32 y/o with plenty of share housing experience. I don’t smoke, work full time in a science roll for the public service and throw a bit of study in occasionally. In my spare time I enjoy catching up with friends, cooking good food for myself and others, travel, movies, playing sport(professional social sport ring in) and running trails. Looking to move somewhere from November but very flexible
I'm a first year undergrad student at ANU. I've currently got two casual jobs, and I also enjoy an active lifestyle playing sports and going for runs. I'm quiet, clean, and I enjoy staying pretty much to myself. However, I do also enjoy socialising with housemates; be that sitting on the couch and watching TV, eating together at dinner, or playing boardgames together. I'm a semi-competent cook, and I enjoy it well enough to make large meals for the household if need be.
Hello! I'm an Australian student at the ANU studying international relations and policy studies, and looking to move off-campus from my lodge residence this year. I moved from the Sunshine Coast in QLD at the start of this year when I was only 17, and have spent the last year studying and finding my rhythm living on my own. I have steady employment in hospitality and mostly work nights at this point. I'm looking for a housemate who will want to spend time together and be friends, but also respect one another privacy. I enjoy film-cinema, 80s music and being in the sunshine. Ideal situation would be a team-up for 6 months before getting my own place mid-2018.
Hello :-) I'm a British guy currently studying on exchange at the ANU until next July. As a person, I'm sociable and enjoy a good natter! But also keen to respect housemates space and privacy. My days and evenings are generally spent working on assignments or playing sport - mostly cricket now the summer is arriving! I'm also a big movie fan so would appreciate a partner on a cinema trip now and then. I'm very clean and enjoy keeping things neat and tidy :-) Hope to meet you soon! Cheers, Dan
I like board games and good banter. I can have interesting conversations, about anything, from science, to literature. I am from India, and can bring in some cultural diversity. I also study ecology and evolution, which is interesting in itself
Hi. I'm an easy-going, tidy, reliable, respectful, and responsible flatmate. I'm looking for a room, preferably furnished and with own ensuite/bathroom. I have a great job - I'm a UX Designer - and sometimes travel for work. I enjoy travel, trivia, board games, movies (especially foreign and arthouse), TV/Netflix, cooking, swimming and reading.
Currently studying Political Science at the ANU. My interests include volunteering, reading, binging Netflix shows and the occasional night out. I'd love to live in a more social sharehouse, though I am very respectful of others' space and privacy. I'm clean, responsible, fun and easygoing. Feel free to message me!
