Hello potential flatmate! I'm moving to Canberra in January 2018 for a new role. I'm originally from Melbourne and I work full-time in government. I'm friendly, tidy, quiet, and alway keen to lend a hand. I also make a mean risotto. In my downtime, I like to spend time with friends, read, curate my wardrobe and be active (e.g. yoga or walking/hiking). Looking forward to hearing from you!
My name is Lachie and I'm starting in the public service in February 2018. I clean up after myself and am very easy to get on with. I am more than happy to run errands to the bottle-o or KFC (as I am a regular customer). I'll do my fair share in terms of housework, garden maintenance as well as shopping duties.
Hi! I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to work as a public servant in early Feb. I'm an easy going person who loves to socialise but also enjoys more relaxed movie nights. As I won't know anyone when I first move to Canberra, I'm looking to share with people who are friendly and won't mind giving me some pointers on where the good coffee is. I'm a clean person and will always pull my weight around the house and will respect your privacy.
Hi, I'm a quiet, clean and respectful full time accountant. I've lived in three prior share houses and very conscious of personal space. I like science, reading, Reddit, gaming and watching way too many TV shows/movies.
Hi I’m Hannah, a 24yo originally from Melbourne and will be new to Canberra at the end of January to start a public service position. I am looking to lease a room in a share house with people also working/studying full time. I am a quiet and considerate housemate, respectful of personal space and tidy up after myself. I enjoy socialising (incl. wine and cheese dinners/beers on a Friday), being active and am looking forward to getting to know Canberra. I'll be moving from Darwin so won’t have much furniture initially, however am also interested to team up for a new place and contribute to the set up etc. I’m keen to live somewhere within bike riding distance to the centre of town. If you’re looking for more information about me or think I’d be a good fit for your place, please send a message through the site and we can connect through social media etc. Cheers, Hannah
Hi everyone :) Like everyone else i am looking for a room to live in ;) I am positive, outgoing and always up for a chat. I am very social, but also respect and appreciate privacy. I enjoy being active, but am also up for netflix and wine. I will be in Canberra for 6 months, as i will be doing an internship at the Danish Embassy. As i am travelling from Denmark, the room would need to be furnished, as i do not have room for my bed in my suitcase ;) I would also be interested in team ups, and I have a friend (fellow intern) who will also be willing to move in, if two rooms were available. Please shoot me a message if you have anything that might be of interest :)
I'm 40 and just returned to Canberra after three years living in Sydney. Originally from NZ, but lived in Canberra from 2011-2014. I work in media and communications. I like to go for walks (including some pretty lengthy ones), head to pub trivia and play golf. I think I'm a very considerate person to live with and am happy to have a chat or keep to myself depending on my housemate's preference and/or state of mind on a given day. FYI, I found a housemate online when I moved to Canberra back in 2011 and we remain very close friends today. Hoping to find an equally awesome housemate this time around. Let me know if you're keen to catch up for a coffee -- or something stronger. Gavin
Young professional specialized in law from Finland, Europe, looking for a flat/flatmates due to a internship in an Embassy in Canberra. I'm staying from January to April and afterwards going to travel around Australia. Few facts about me: - 26-year-old law student from Finland, Europe, - Respectful, open minded, positive attitude, - I'm neat, tidy and happy to help with house chores, - Non-smoker nor a fan of party life, but a glass of wine on a weekend when served with good company is always welcomed! - Languages: English, Finnish, French, Swedish What I'm looking for my stay: - to meet new people, make friends, - morning runs and other sports, - work full-time, - finalize my Master's thesis under the Oz sun, - enjoy good food (I love cooking!) and experience Australia thoroughly since it's my first time there.
I am a friendly, polite. easy going and open minded person. I always keep my room clean and am respectful of others’ space. I am an ANU student studying my final year (honours) in chemistry. My interests are cricket, reading and watching tv/movies. I can pay rent monthly or even fortnightly - whichever is preferred.
Hi, I'm François. I come from France and I'am spending several months (at least 3 but probably a bit more) in Canberra for an internship as a student engineer. I will be working all day during the week. I'm rather a discreet person who should not annoy you if you need calm, but I would also be delighted to chat if you have time.
I am moving to Canberra from Melbourne to start a graduate role with the ACTPS. I like cooking, sewing, singing, and movies. I'm usually pretty busy in Melbourne, and I'm hoping to find some new hobbies! I'm tidy and respectful, and not really into big parties. I have furniture in Melbourne which I am happy to bring with me if needed (including all whitegoods). I also have a two year old indoor cat that I would like to bring with me, but who may also stay in Melbourne with my brother for the time being. She's sweet and happy, doesn't really bother people, and has a rear joint displaysia which means she can't jump onto kitchen benches, and can't free-range outside. I'm looking for an unfurnished room in a quiet, laid-back house. Ideally with heating and cooling, off street parking, and some kind of outside space.
Hello potential housemates! I've just moved home from London after a few years and I'm moving to Canberra for work. I'm looking for a comfortable flat with excellent housemates. I like living in a friendly home, but i'm the first to recognise the importance of having time to yourself. I'm easy to live with, I like things clean and tidy, and I have terrific taste in Netflix. Get in touch!
My name is Shalini, having moved to Melbourne a few short months ago for work, I have to move again and leave all my favourite brunch places - this time back to Canberra where I lived for 6 years. I love yoga, reading, hikes, tv shows, going for brunch and lazy Sunday afternoons at the pub. Could chat to you for hours about podcasts/Harry Potter theories too. I am clean and friendly, happy to share household chores and love to chat over a wine after work every once in a while. Drop me a line if you want to know anything more about me. I have plenty of experience living in large share houses as well as with just one housemate.
Hi there, I'm looking for a new lovely share house around the Braddon area. I'm having to leave my current house because sadly our owners are selling. I'm a clean and tidy person and love having a chat when people are up for it. Hope to hear from you!
Ayden & I are both active individuals who enjoy our down time when at home. When we're not training or traveling for competition (we're cyclists) we're usually watching netflix or down the road at a cafe. Other than cycling, I have just recently completed my undergraduate architecture degree in Sydney and plan on starting my masters degree in March at the University of Canberra. I love to cook & bake and appreciate a clean living environment. Ayden is super easy going & can get along with just about anyone (and he knows how to make a good cup of tea)! In between training he works with a catering company. We're looking for a new place as my lease in Sydney ends in November & Ayden's current Canberran flatmates are moving on in February. Ideally looking for a master bedroom with ensuite & also the capacity to store a few bikes. Minimum stay 6 months.
I'm adventurous and fun to be with. I will be studying at the Australian National University for my postgraduate degree (Public Administration) in 2018. I'm from the Philippines and I look forward to sharing with you my knowledge and culture. Thanks!
Looking for an awesome housemate - either someone who has or is looking for a place. I'm a full-time student at the Australian National University. I study Biology and am particularly interested in virology. I'm easy to get along with, clean and respectful; happy to be social but also respect privacy. In my spare time, I like catching up with friends, reading, going to cultural things and going to the gym.
