Intern at the Danish Embassy and will be here until February 2018. I like things nice and clean and I enjoy being social with other people, but respect a closed door as well. Being in Australia for four more months, I enjoy experiencing the culture of the country and travelling as well. However quite evenings are as well preferable in the weekdays. I'm pretty flexible with things and use to get along with all kinds of people :)
I'm a PhD student and research assistant at ANU research school of biology and CSIRO. Male, 29, quiet, from Newcastle Australia. My routine is mostly at the lab until late, including weekends. I rarely cook, don't party but I'm still social, also kind and considerate. My current accommodation is at a share apartment that is destined to be sold. Single, no pets, don't smoke and drink on social occasions only. I'm searching for a single room in walking distance to ANU. I one is available, I'm keen to meet, greet and get more details. Kind regards, Ash
Hello! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane to begin an APS grad program in Barton. I finished uni in 2016, studying economics and writing. As a housemate, I like to socialise with wine, netflix, cooking and baking - i do a pretty fantastic vego lasagna! I would be working full time, and probably out exploring on my bike or in the national parks most weekends, so i won't be in your hair too much (but if you're also into these things, that would be awesome too). I currently volunteer as a animal handler and creative writer at RSPCA QLD, so I adore animals and will hopefully continue to volunteer somewhere in the ACT. I don't smoke or have any pets. I have a partner who is remaining in QLD, so he would come to stay maybe twice each month. I enjoy keeping a clean home so if you do too that would be perfect. I have a car so parking would be a plus, but not necessary. Let's chat!
I'm a part-time bookseller, currently looking for full-time work. I'm social, enjoy meeting new people, and am happy to join in with group activities. I can bring my own furniture, and don't need a furnished room. I can provide a television and video game consoles, if that interests anyone. I also have a small board game collection, and make excellent pizza. The moving date is not set in stone, I am happy to arrange to move in earlier or later.
Moving to Canberra (from Brisbane) for a project opportunity an looking for a place to stay for the first couple of months before I find a place of my own. I am a pretty easy going bloke who enjoys hanging out with people, outdoor activities (sports, hiking, camping, swimming) and sometimes binge watching Netflix! I will be working full time and will be travelling back to Brisbane every alternate weekend.
I'm from a small country town but moved to Canberra to study :) I have recently been offered a new full time position so I'm looking for some one or some people to share with who are friendly! I'm easy going, don't smoke and will spend the majority of my time working. I'm happy to keep to myself, I'm great with chores, I laugh at stupid things and watch a lot of Netflix. *I am allergic to animals, so no pets is perfect :)*
Hello, I have to move to Canberra for a new job in the aps. I mostly keep to myself, clean up after myself, and am respectful of others lifestyles and their privacy. I would love it if the place was pet friendly as I want to get a puppy, but if I cant find a place that will accept pets I won't, as my #1 priority is to find myself a place. I also love nature and enjoy a drink every now and then. Thanks!
Hi! Update, 20th Sep: Still Looking for a place. I'm Rajith, a PhD scholar at ANU. I'm 25, Sri Lankan, quite social and love cooking! Pet friendly! Actually it's a plus if you have a doggo or a cat whose love I can share! Looking for a place close to the city in a social shared flat with friendly and tidy people. (and pets!) I don't mind sharing with either students or workers. Open minded, and keen to live with similar people. I speak English, Spanish, Sinhalese and German. Can move in anytime - would need at least one month notice to move from current place. Get in touch! Cheers, Rajith
I'm currently an undergraduate student studying Political Science at the ANU. My interests include volunteering, reading, binging Netflix shows and the occasional night out. I'd love to live in a more social sharehouse, though I am very respectful of others' space and privacy. I'm clean, responsible, fun and easygoing. Feel free to message me!
Hi there! My name is Jenna, I'm moving down from Brisbane in December (2017) for a 3 month stay in Canberra while I do a scholarship program with the CSIRO. I'm really easy going, clean and friendly. I'm keen to make some friends as I don't know many people in Canberra. Also, I won't have a car so I'm looking for somewhere with good public transport access. I'm happy to share with both males and females.
Hey there! I'm a soon-to-be young professional, currently studying Law at the ANU and living in student accomodation. I'm looking to move out early next year (preferably late January or early February), hopefully somewhere central, as I'll be starting full-time work. I'm easy-going, clean, big on communication and independent. I enjoy time to myself and socialising in equal measure, although I'm pretty time poor so, if you're lucky, you may never even see me. Hobbies include staying fit (gym, anyone?), literature and coffee (yes - that's a hobby). I'm looking for a young professional or later-year student to find a place with, or to take over someone's contract in a single apartment, etc, or existing share-house if the flatmates are great. Please be clean and respectful of personal space! I'd love to chat and get to know each other a bit first before committing to the move so get in touch if you're interested. Places and price all flexible. Will most likely have a car so will need somewhere to park.
Hi, I'm Xiaoling YAO from China. I'll study in ANU for my Master Degrees of Statistics in the next 2 years. So, I haven't decided my lease length yet. I might be a little nerd but I'm a open and friendly girl. As a Chinses, of course I can cook. So if you want to share dinner with me, it is absolutely welcome. I don't smoke, have no pet (although I like them), and I'm single. I sometimes like to listen to some folk but am not keen to music. Sometimes, I like to draw something to kill time, I think that I'm good at it in some degree :P. Well, I don't have driving license, so, it is important for me to live in a riding range from campus. Thank you for your attention.
Hi, my name is Holly and I am a third year Bachelor of Science student at ANU. I also work part time as a manager at Priceline Pharmacy. I love cheese, sleeping and the outdoors. I'm clean, friendly and I'm easy to get along with. I've been living at college on campus for the past three years and I'm keen for a change of scene. My college contract ends the 6th of December, but I will be flexible for the right place. I graduate July 2018, I'm looking for somewhere for 8 months or so.
Looking for a place to live that's closer to my work place in the Canberra CBD. I'm easy to get along with and a very creative person. I have a busy lifestyle working as an administrator full time and using my spare time to do as much as I can. I do swing dancing, go to Spanish lessons, go to the gym, go for walks, check out the markets and eat everything I can, all of which I'd happily invite a house-mate to join me if they wanted. Since I'm often out doing things I use my time at home to relax, recharge, and get some space; that being said I'm often up for sharing a bottle of wine, having a chat, playing a bored game or going for a walk with the people I live with if they are up for it too. As an administrator and a busy person, I'm very organised, and very clean so that my life stays on track. I'm hoping to find a place to live close to the CBD in early 2018 but may be able to move in December too.
British guy moving to Canberra from London to take up a postdoc at ANU. I'm 30 years old, and I'm a tidy, considerate and sociable housemate. Interests and activities include cycling, hiking, and making/playing music. ANU can put me up in holding accommodation when I arrive on October 8, but I'd like to get on my own two feet as quickly as possible so I'm looking for a place that's available any time between then and Christmas. Up either for joining an existing houseshare or getting one going if there's anyone in a similar situation!
Hey I'm George! I'm from Sydney and new to Canberra. I'm a graphic // web designer starting a job at the ABC for their political news team. I'm 27, I play the cello sometimes, love to share a wine and am excited by the amount of sky and stars Canberra has on offer. I'm sad to leave my beautiful share house family in Sydney, but looking forward to meeting lovely new ones in Canberra. Let me know if this sounds at all like you. George :)
I'm independent, thoughtful, respectful, clean and reliable. I work fulltime for government, study part-time, enjoy catching up with friends. I tend to socialise away from home. Have been living on my own but looking now to share as it it'd be nice for a change, and looking to save some money.
I'm an International Relations student from Madrid and I'll be doing an internship in Canberra from October 1 until February 1. I've been sharing rooms/flats for the past three years and what I like the most is to share a good meal with my flatmates or a glass of wine from time to time. I'm quite outgoing but I also respect others' personal space. I'm tidy and clean, message me if you're interested! :)
