Hi, I'm Alex a 24-year-old and a recent university graduate relocating to Canberra to take up a graduate role in the City. I expect work will keep me fairly occupied for the first few months. Longer term, I’ve also received an offer to pursue postgraduate research (Master’s/PhD) at ANU, depending on how things settle in.
Looking to move to Canberra on a window between February and March. I'm also happy to start with an initial 6 month stay with a possible extension to 12+ for the right roommates. Preferred location is anywhere in Canberra.
I don't smoke, own pets, or have kids. My ideal home is a peaceful sanctuary where I can recharge after work and get ready for the weekend. Always keen to get a Friday or trivia pub meal to save on cleaning dishes.
Ideal house setup would be early/late 20's to early 30s and all working professionals. Rent $200 to $500 depending on features and inclusions (i.e. private toilet, room size, ect)
Well travelled, have done several snow seasons and relocated a few time since leaving school so I am very easygoing and non-confrontational.
Please be aware that I will be in The Hague, Netherlands between the 10 January to 13 of February for a placement. Thus the hours I am available to message/chat might be limited however I will try my best to make it work.
Lastly I have a small hybrid-car happy to park it on the street. By would jump on the possibility of parking it under cover. Happy to carpool people to work.
