Hi, I'm 27, from Canberra originally and I'm currently working full-time on a contract until the end of January, 2020. I'm relaxed, social, tidy and respectful. I've worked in uni admin and ESL teaching the last few years and am a very keen language learner as well as Teacher. I'm looking for a place to stay near(ish) UC or inner north while I finish out my contract.
I'm from Melbourne, moving to Canberra for a grad program in February 2020. I'm friendly, easygoing, tidy and independent. I'm happy doing my own thing but also hope to make new friends (as I don't know many people in Canberra), and am down to hang out/shared dinners/movies/bevs etc. I lived in a 12-person sharehouse in Switzerland for 6 months, so I'm used to sharing my space and contributing to chores etc., and enjoy living in a place where there is plenty going on (but also need my downtime). A bit about me: I love to travel, and have lived in France, Switzerland and Canada. I love animals (but am sadly allergic to cats) and sometimes look after Guide Dog puppies in training. I'm an enthusiastic (but not overly talented) skier and am looking forward to being close to the slopes in Canberra next year. I'm a non-smoker, and prefer to live with non-smokers. I'm looking to find other young professionals or students to share a centrally located house or apartment in 2020. I hope to be able to cycle to work, so would like to be less than 10km from Parliament. Feel free to get in touch if you are also in the same boat! Cheers.
I am a mid 20s male moving to Canberra from Adelaide. I work full time as an engineer in the public sector. When home I am fairly quiet on week days but also enjoy socialising/having a few drinks on weekends. I play plenty of sport (rugby and touch football) and exercise regularly which takes up most of my week nights. I am hoping to move in with people of similar age, either young professionals or students for a good atmosphere and to make friends in a new city.
I’m a student who has one year to go in a primary education degree and I also have a job working at a school. I’m a sports nut either watching or playing sports. I like music, reading, and watching a good tv show or movie.
I'm a student that works part-time as a public servant for the ACT Government. Looking for a house that doesn't mind some social activities, while also respecting my personal space due to my hectic schedule.
I'm a third year psychology student at ANU and will be starting honours next year. When I'm not studying, I'm usually playing soccer, at work (teaching violin and piano) or volunteering! I am very tidy and don't leave mess in common areas but don't mind if others leave a little bit of clutter. I am also extremely patient and reasonable when it comes to conflict resolution, etc.
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a new place to stay around town, I’m easy going work full time in the APS mostly either at work, with friends or training! I’m pretty easy going and goes with the flow, happy to have a chat!
I am moving to Canberra from Melbourne in early 2020 to join a graduate program. I will be working full time and also studying a Masters at ANU. I love cooking (especially baking), I don't smoke and I am a bit of a neat freak. I love animals and am open to living with pets.
Hi! I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne in 2020 to begin full-time work in the APS. I don't know much about the city, or many people that live there, so I'm looking forward to exploring what's on offer and making new friends. I'm a keen traveller and lover of the outdoors, and I'm hoping to get into cycling and mountain bike riding more when I'm in Canberra. I'm a big fan of sports, playing soccer myself, but also being a passionate follower of the AFL. My free time outside of work will most likely be taken up be keeping active and also socialising at cafes / bars. I'm an organised but easygoing person, and will always make sure that I am a reliable and trustworthy housemate in terms of housework and finances. I respect people's privacy but also would hope to live with a group of people that I can easily get along with as friends. Ideally, I'd like to live in the inner suburbs, but will consider further out if needed. Overall I'm not too fussed, I'd just like have my own room and have it finalised around the start of Feb. Feel free to message me if you might be keen to team up!
I am a friendly, clean and courteous public servant, looking for a house share somewhere with easy access to public transport. I enjoy watching the footy (AFL) during the season and am an avid West Coast fan (being from WA), and also love a good comedy. During the week I tend to frequent various pub trivia, and play social netball. Also really enjoy cooking. Overall, I am clean, very respectful and enjoy a good balance of both social and quiet time. I’ve been in Canberra for nearly a year now, have a car (will require off-Street parking) and a TV/Foxtel Go if required. Moving sometime in late October/early November. Happy with furnished or unfurnished :)
Hi all!! I am 31 but look and feel younger 🙊. I have been living in Canberra for 3.5 years now and I love it! I finished my masters degree in IT last year from UC and now I am working full time at a cybersecurity training startup as a customer experience manager and business analyst 🤓. I am a social person but respect others privacy as well. Enjoy a glass of red every now and then, beer in summer, Netflix, music... but also going to the gym, running, hiking, biking, live music, travelling... probably many people say this even if it's not true but I am clean and tidy! 😀 I am after teamups or a room in Braddon, Turner, Reid, Lyneham, Dickson, Downer or the city where I can feel like home 🙂 Ask me if you want to know more about me 😉
Hi everyone ! I'm a 25 year old french gal Moving to Canberra in early october for work. I'm excited to discover the city. I'm used to living in flatshares so I'm (very) tidy, good at communicating and respecting people's space and I'm confident I can get along pretty well with anyone. In my spare time I love to go hiking, kayaking or exploring the city and testing out new restaurants. I also love to rest at home on the week ends and cook meals. I'm looking for a room in a non-smoking house or flat, preferably with other people working full time but I'm open to students as well ! Also if there’s NO carpeting around the house that would be a HUGE plus and I would sign a lease on the spot ! Feel free to message me if you want to know more about me. see ya !
