I’m a 23yo who has recently moved from Perth and am working full time at the UNSW ADFA campus and studying part-time online. I prefer my space at times, especially when I have to bunker-down for assessment season, but I value a good D&M and meeting new people. I love all things sport and am an avid touch rugby and bouldering fanatic (unfortunately injured at the moment though), I appreciate a good wine every once in a while (almost as much as I love a terrible pun and top notch level 10 meme), and will go out of my way to pat a dog I see out in public. If that's not enough to love me, then I would probably bribe via baked goods (I have people who can vouch for my homemade cookies and 11/10 banana bread) and inability to portion control when making pasta for 1 (aka. "accidentally cooked for 10 people"). I naturally keep things tidy and always put things back where they belong as I love to keep my environment looking aesthetically pleasing and neat. Preferably looking to rent with females.
Hi! I'm a 31-year-old guy who's about to move down from the Hunter Valley, and am about to start a new job with a local radio station. Most of my days are spent at work, and I'll be working every other weekend. The alternate ones, chances are I'll be visiting friends and family up in Sydney. I don't smoke, don't party and don't invade other people's space, and am looking for flatmates who feel the same way. (Actually, I don't mind if other flatmates smoke, as long as it's not in the house). That being said, I'm always up for a chat / good yarn, but am equally as keen to just chill. I'm looking for a room that includes a double bed, built-in's, utilities and internet included in the rent and flatmates around the same age give or take. My partying days are a fair way behind me, and whilst I don't mind socialising, at the same time I do enjoy my sleep and am not keen to watch the pictures vibrate on the wall from unce unce unce. I'm available to start looking at places from Saturday, 21 July - give me a call and we can organize a time to look over your spare room. Cheers!
Hi! I'm from India and have a Bachelors' Degree in Architecture. July 2018 i begin with my Masters' Degree at the ANU. Love travelling / exploring and have many tales to tell from the various journeys I've had. Am highly adaptable and quick at socialising. Also, I'm extremely meticulous in everything I do and very particular about cleanliness.
Hey there! I'm a Melbourne local, recently arrived to the quietest capital city in the world. I'm generally pretty easy going, love to cook and enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail! I do like to keep things pretty clean and tidy (especially the kitchen, but in return I will fill the fridge with baking and leftovers for all!) I'm desperate to find some people who mean AFL when they say 'footy,' as you can find me in front of the Melbourne game every weekend. I love getting out and exploring Canberra, it's bushland and it's bars; I'm also a big snow fan so am keen for a few trips to the mountains! I'm **technically** an Arts/Law student, but I only do one subject a semester so I can keep pretending. Otherwise, I flit around the hospo scene and do some freelancing. I'm not around the house all that much, but I'd like a house where everyone is keen to share a meal when it works, but not living in each other's pockets! I've lived in a few different sharehouses, and like to think I know the lay of the land pretty well. Reliable with rent & bills, and looking for like minded people!
I’m clean and neat but chill. I’m easy to get along with, enjoy having a chat with my flatmates but also time to myself. I’m a part time student & I work. I also do some volunteer work and play sport.
I am a female student from Denmark. During my stay in Canberra I will be studying at ANU as a Master student in Chemistry. My semester begins mid-July and ends mid-November, why I am looking for a room for four months In Denmark I am used to live in a dorm with 19 other students, hence I know how to share living room, kitchen and bathroom with other people, how to clean the house and make it a nice place to stay. In my sparetime I like to do different kinds of sports such as running, spinning, swimming, skiing and dancing. Besides that I am a very chill person who also enjoys a cold beer or a glass of wine, reading books, going to koncerts and out to bars, cooking and watching a movie. I am looking for a furnished room since I will not bring any furnitures with me from Denmark.
I'm 22, doing Masters at ANU, just moved here from Adelaide. I am clean, tidy, quiet and easy going. Looking for somewhere ASAP. In my free time I enjoy reading, keeping fit, cooking, watching TV, eating out and going on trips. I am well traveled and have lived independently in share houses in the past. I'm very flexible and always down to chat/hang out.
I'm a Masters student and research assistant at the University of Canberra researching the conservation of small-bodied freshwater fish. Although I'm neat and tidy, I'm also very relaxed and easy going. I'm handy around the house and am always up for a chat even though I usually keep to myself.
Hi, my name is Piyush Gupta and I'm 23 years old male hailing from India currently studying Master of Computing full-time at Australian National University. I don't smoke and don't have a pet or vehicle. I've been living in shared spaces for the past five years now and thus I'm aware of personal space of the roommates that needs to be respected. I'm easy going and always hygienic and tidy. I'm bad at organizing parties myself, but wouldn't mind if the roommates decide to have one. I wouldn't be in my own bubble all the time and be socially active with the roommates too. I like reading books, playing video games and exercise. P.S - The baby in the picture is just to add cuteness, doesn't come with me :)
I'm a fourth year arts/law student at ANU. I moved here from sunny Perth for uni! I work full-time so I study part-time. I love dogs, cooking, gardening, reading, politics, and lots more. LBGTQIA+ friendly. Looking for a quiet and clean share house - I'm a homebody and I spend a lot of time at home studying. Please ask me anything I've missed!
I originaly come from Yass, NSW but I am now working full time at old Parliament House as a barrister and waiter (8am to 5pm) I enjoy cooking and eat almost anything, I'm also down with vegetarian and vegan. I am a very clean and tidy person and I like coming home after a long days work to a clean house. I am an easy going person and easy to get along with, I like socializing at the end of the day and on weekends; for instance sharing dinner together or having a drink. In my free time I like to draw, read and watch movies. I do enjoy getting outside and longboarding as well as hiking when I get the chance. I understand the importance of privacy and I will 100% respect it. I have lived with other families and people and do have valuable experience.
Hi, I am Simone. I am a student at UC, my course is a bachelor in science of psychology. I have completed 1 year, with 2 years left to go. A few of my hobbies include art, gaming, gym, and photography.
We are both hard workers, easy going, clean/neat and reliable. We are both from Wagga Wagga, recently moved to Canberra and both full time working. Breanna is a full time chef at the Knox cafe made in Watson and Trai is a plumber, party bus driver and truck driver. We love our music and always up for a chat but also like to have our own space.
Hi! My name's Phoebe and I'm looking for a 'home' to move into. Originally from Newcastle, I graduated from my Economics degree and found work as a public servant in Canberra about 2 years ago. I'm really looking for a home where the housemates get along and who wouldn't mind teaming up for dinner (or drinks) sometimes. I really enjoy DJ'ing (don't worry, I'm not noisy), and learning the drums (again, don't worry I don't have a kit at home), and I'm currently teaching myself how to produce music. I'm also interested in street fashion and dress accordingly on the weekends :) So moving in with other creatives would be a plus! I'm clean, friendly and easy-going, and also respect other people's privacy as I need down-time myself sometimes. If you are looking for someone who would fit in well with your current house, please contact me! A few miscellaneous things: I'm vegetarian, I work in the city so would like somewhere nearby if possible and looking to pay less than $200 a week, I enjoy working out at the gym, and I make a mean vegan curry ;)
I am a youthful 55yrs post-surgery Transgender person who is very easy going. I'm currently at University of Canberra studying Bch Of Public Health. I am mostly seeking to join an existing sharehouse with space, although starting a new share property is an option for me too. Just 2-4 people including me would be preferable. I would be willing to sign-up to a joint lease with other tenants if necessary. I can contribute furniture to the property, although I don't have a dining suite or a lounge suite. Alternatively, I can place unused items in a dry, lockup garage if available. * Kitchen = large twin door fridge, microwave and just about every cooking item you could want! * Living = large timber pieces including wall units, bookcase, hallway table and entertainment unit (for television, etc). * Laundry = front loading washing machine, ironing board, etc. * Outside = lawn mower, whipper snipper, water hose, etc. * Bedroom = I have a six piece timber bedroom setting. I have an existing NBN Internet contract with unlimited data and a 100mb speed connection. It also includes the Optus 'Fetch' TV with 6 channels and access to netflix, etc. If your place already has an internet service, I may be able to transfer my account to other tenants in the property where I currently live. I am available to move-in to a new property quite soon - within two/three weeks depending on mutual circumstances. My share of any rent would be $200 per week maximum (I am a Uni student after all.) I'd prefer a property that is in good condition and located within reasonable travel distance to the University of Canberra. But i'm flexible for the 'right' property. That's it !!! Hit me up if you have a large bedroom in a sharehome that may be suitable.
I love to cook (fresh pasta, veg-heavy, baking, chocolate), read (books are my kryptonite) and seek out ways to progressively engage climate issues in systemic and community-based ways. I love to keep a tidy and fresh home, shop at the Epic markets and Aldi, mostly, drive and cycle for work. Regular yoga, irregular hiking, hanging/cooking with friends and the occasional dinner out make life delightful. Art lover. I moved to CBR to study public policy to enable me to engage on the social and economic roots of climate and environmental challenges, and have just accepted a full-time (dream) job on climate adaptation and resource management (wish me luck). In living arrangements, I really enjoy pooling resources and putting energy into a dwelling into a home, especially through shared shopping and cooking, and enjoying and being a gentle presence in home. While kids and animals love me, I'd like to live in a child-free/light home; pets are welcome although I currently have none of my own. I tend to be an early riser, and enjoy warm, well-lit spaces with gentle people who enjoy chewing over progressive ideas and at least a little practice of same. :-)
Hi there, I’m looking for a new place since the current house I’m in is splitting up soon. I’m a 21 year old guy from rural NSW who is working for Google's Project Wing. I’ve been sharing my current house with 4 other people and I am used to cooking and a bit of house banter as well as keeping areas clean and sharing bathrooms. I usually do a bit of tinkering, hiking, photography, footy and mountain biking in my spare time. Let me know if you would be interested in sorting something out. Cheers Marcus
I am a neat and easygoing doctor working at Calvary hospital. I don't often have wild parties but am usually keen to hang out for a chat over some food, wine, or tea. I enjoy cooking for myself and others. I'm a vegetarian but am not fussy about meat being around. I generally work business-ish hours plus a bit of overtime so I'm not around the house all that much, although I usually study/chill out in the evenings after work. I am originally from Brisbane and 7 years in Canberra havn't managed to accustom me to the long winters so I'm keen for somewhere cosy to see me through the rest of this one.
I have just got back from 12 months teaching English overseas (Mongolia) and I'm ready to settle in to life in Canberra again. I'll remain here for 12 months and my next adventure is Russia! Please note that my move date is flexible but I would prefer to move ASAP.
