Hello, I am Ryo, a PhD student in Barcelona, Spain. I will do a research-stay in ANU from 26th of July to 2nd of November 2019 (about 3 months). Let me introduce myself a bit. I am a Japanese guy, tidy, open-mind, and respectful. I like soccer, eating, cooking, wine, reading, and movie. Thank you so much for your consideration!
Easy going, friendly and self sufficient! Looking for a place for around 6+ months from end July. Prefer to own bathroom and stay with one other person! I am a Coeliac so kitchen hygiene is essential!
Hi! I am about to move to Canberra from Sydney to start a PhD degree in ANU. I’m very laid back and like to enjoy some alone time. In my free time I like to work out, watch movies, cook, check out markets and new restaurants. I am clean and tidy (most of the time) and definitely clean up after myself in shared areas. I’m looking for a flatmate/flatmates to share a house or flat that is ideally close to ANU.
Heya, I've just finished studying population health at ANU and work as a nurse in the Woden Valley. I have a cat named Beck who is 11yo who spends most of her time napping, watching the world go by or purring loudly. I adult quite well, I pay my rent and I clean. I’m respectful and honest. I like nature and learning, music and peaceful sleep-ins. For fun I like to dance or ride my bike, rest in my hammock, have a drink with friends or binge watch Netflix. I'm a vegetarian and a feminist. I'm usually trying to be a better human than i was last month. I have to move because there is a big leak in my current place! I’m looking for somewhere big enough to fit a queen bed and desk. I'm interested in is a ground-floor apartment or a house.
Hello there! I’ve just moved to Canberra (from Perth) to study at UC and am looking for a room in a share house. I’m a very clean, tidy and organised guy, early to bed and early to rise. I’m pretty active and live a very healthy lifestyle. Love a good healthy, weekly meal prep and don’t often drink (unless everyone else ). I spend quite a bit of time with outdoorsy pursuits hiking, running, camping etc. I have been living in share houses for a few years now with many other housemates so I know how it all works. I’ll also be bringing my doggy with me. She’s a small/medium mixed breed mutt who is super affectionate and friendly. She has a big personality and will work her way into your heart (guaranteed). She loves nothing more than to curl up next to you on the couch at the end of a long day, or a short day – pretty much anytime really. She’s house trained and very obedient. She isn't destructive, doesn't dig and once settled she won't even pee or poo in the backyard. She'll be going back to WA at the end of the year so it's not a long term commitment. I’ll be studying part time, working part time and walking the dog part time but when I’m not doing those things I’ll be exploring Canberra or hanging out in the communal areas of the house. I’m pretty social, always up for chat and a yarn - I won’t be spending much time hiding in my room though I do respect peoples need for personal/quiet time. I would love to find a house with peeps I can be friends with and can do housemate activities with. I enjoy living with social people more than anything! Won't be bringing much with me so a furnished room would be ideal but I'm not fussy. The best thing about living with me is the amount of free food I get from work! I work in food distribution, we sell a lot of bulk items and I take home anything that's damaged.
Hi, I'm Lauren and I'm currently seeking some long-term accommodation that is relatively close to ANU. I've lived on campus at ANU before and have lived in Indonesia for 2 years in share houses. I have deferred semester 1 2019 but am wanting to go back into semester 2 this year. I study a Bachelor of Asia-Pacific studies majoring in Indonesian and am hoping to find some like-minded individuals who are easy going and tidy :)) In my spare time I enjoy socialising, having the occasional drink or 2, or even binge watching some netflix. Although I often love a good chat, I am of a fairly quiet-nature and am respectful of the privacy of others. Let me know if you think we'd make a good household!
Hey, My name is Rohit and I feel like a Canberra veteran as I've survived three winters. I am currently developing, designing and strategising content for the ANU College of Business and Economics. I like to do a lot of things ranging from being a bookworm in a library to going out on Friday nights until the sun comes up. Running and playing soccer on Sundays are regular routines. For my future flatmates, I am a senior resident at Student Lodge for two years. So, I'm trustworthy, organised and can save you if there's a fire :p Anyway, would love to discuss more about my house habits and to learn about your house rules. Best wishes.
Quiet final year students, Jaya studies International Relations and Shevonne studies Psychology. Happy to socialise but don't mind keeping to ourselves! Love to rewatch the Office when we procrastinate and make delicious food :)
I am a pretty easy going person. I love to have a chat but am also mindful of when people want a bit of space. My ideal household is one where there is a good group dynamic and where you will do the odd thing as a household but also are independent. I am a keen brewer, the only problem being while I love to brew I actually don't drink that much beer (good for those around me). I pursued this at Uni level but haven't taken it professional. I am involved in amateur theatre and that keeps me off the streets. I also love to garden, even if it is just maintaining the garden and have all the tools. I am an experienced renter and housemate and understand the need to get involved in the running of the household otherwise you are essentially asking someone else to carry the load. I have a super friendly staffy which I walk regularly both in the morning and evening. Lets face it, he essentially takes me for the walk. I work full time.
