Hey! Moving from Brisbane to Canberra to work in the APS. I have lived in sharehouses for years, so I know the drill ;) Tidy, respectful, love to cook and be in a sociable household. Bringing a TV, router, fridge and a few more things, happy to share! Love to stay active almost as much as I love a relaxing night in.
so I am pretty chilled and easy going. prefer my kitchen to be clean and tidy.. excited to move with some wonderful people who can have a laugh but also respect each other's privacy. we could go for movies , cook at times but also make sure we got each other's back :)
I'm a hospitality professional working full time, currently to relocate from Melb to Canberra. I'm easygoing and trustworthy, I keep house tidy and clean, not a smoker or drinker. Most of time I will be at work; on my days off, I enjoying running and a bit of cycling, exploring cafes and restaurants, as well cooking occasionally. Hoping to move to a shared house in the early of December, lease length can be discussed, preferably to start with a 3-4 months lease and see where it leads. If you have a room available, free feel to drop me a message. Thanks, Nick
Hello! I’m moving from Sydney to Canberra to start a new job in government. I’ll be working full-time, however I am looking forward to meeting new people and exploring the city. I am a relaxed, clean and tidy person and I enjoy socialising but also respect the importance of personal space. When not working, my interests include reading and hanging out, but I am also fond of being active (hiking and gym). I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello future housemates! My name is Javs and I'm a full-time young professional working in the defence industry. I'm a healthy eater, and I like to keep myself active and social. I'm honest, responsible, and clean. I respect privacy, but it's also cool to kick it if we vibe. If we don't, that's cool too 🙂. I value open, honest communication and if there are any issues or problems I'd like to get those out in the open and sorted out. If you think we might be good housemates feel free to give me a call. looking forward to meeting you!
Hi there! I'm moving down to Canberra for a 12 month government IT contract, starting November 12. When I lived in Canberra previously, I tended to spend a fair bit of my time mountain biking and motorcycling. These days however I'm more into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and keen to snowboard over winter.
I'm moving over from Perth in January to start full-time work and am looking for a few people to live with. Location-wise, I'm hoping to be about a 20 minute bus ride from Barton. Definitely keen if you have a dog!
I am moving down from Brisbane to Canberra for a graduate role but have been living in a flat-share for the last 5 years. I am easy-going and would love a housemate/s that are up for hanging out, drinking some wine and watching movies. I am looking to move in anytime between 1st January 2019 - 1st February 2019 and would also prefer a longer-term lease (at least 6 months) but that is negotiable. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
I have been in the Navy since I left school but have just recently discharged in Feb and now I have a full time job with Department of Education in the city. I have been in Canberra since 2014 and now I am loosing my housemates as they are moving interstate. One of them is my boyfriend and he has just started a new course and now lives in Wagga with the Air Force. So depending on his schedule I’ll be traveling there some wknds and he’ll be visiting me some wknds. I am quite active and enjoy anything involving the outdoors. I love checking out new restaurants and bars around Canberra, going for coffee and/or brunch, but also cook for myself most days of the week. I appreciate my own space but also will not say no to a chat over a glass of wine or food. I am a pretty ‘chilled out’ person, am clean and easy to get along with.
I’m a public servant who moved to Canberra at the beginning of the year from Queensland! I come with a bunch of furniture and a herb garden. I’m clean, tidy and respectful of people’s space. Hoping to find 1 - 2 lovely people who are equally as keen as me to live in a social but considerate house :)
Hey guys, I’m looking to move in to a place in the inner north at the start of Feb 2019. I’m a psychology student at ANU and I’m pretty easy going. I’d love to live with some respectful and friendly people, I’m not concerned about gender, and I would ideally have at least two housemates (the more the merrier!). I’m clean and tidy and would prefer my housemates to be the same in shared spaces. I'm a fan of regular "house meetings" aka drinks (be it tea or beer) and hanging out. I love animals and will go crazy for pets! I also enjoy cooking together every now and again. If you think we’d get on, let’s chat!
I’m an honest, reliable, clean and tidy professional. Pretty relaxed but do prefer a clean home and to share with others who like the common shared spaces to be kept tidy. I’m friendly and quite happy to share a meal or a glass of wine and have a chat on occasion but I like my own space. I’ve shared with 2 girls in their early 20s the past 2 years; it’s been fun to hang out and it’s worked because we respect each other’s privacy and individuality. I am open to sharing with people of any age if they are mature, respectful, trust-worthy, self-aware with a positive, can-do, friendly attitude. Art, hiking, cycling, Pilates, Netflix, great food, coffee and wine, board games, authenticity and honesty are all up there as things I enjoy and value. I’m really looking to live as near to my workplace as possible so Braddon, Reid, Manuka, Kingston, Red Hill, Garran, Griffith are my preferences. $300/week including utilities is my maximum. ** Im looking for a shorterm share of 4 months starting early January (I’ll be housesitting from May 2019)
Clean and tidy. Quiet but up for a chat anytime. Relaxed, considerate and respectful of privacy and personal space. During my free time I enjoy watching tv or Netflix, read, go for a run or just working out at the gym =)
Hello! I'm starting a full time grad role in Canberra and so looking for some housemates! I come with a fluffy Ragdoll named Lucy who loves a pat from time to time. I'm clean and tidy and respect shared spaces. I'm super friendly and outgoing, always down for a movie marathon, but I also chilling out by myself. I enjoy socialising and going to parties, but prefer not to host them. Also, always up for a weekend adventure!
Hey! We're a couple moving down to Canberra in Jan/Feb 2019 for work/study. Elena is starting her PhD at ANU, and Oskar is starting work at the ATO. We're both very flexible people - we appreciate the need for private bedroom space, but will happily chill in the living space with other housemates after work and on weekends. Around the house we're both very low maintenance, the sort of people who'll make the effort to wash up the dishes in the evening so we don't have to deal with it in the morning. In her spare time, Elena loves reading, drinking tea, and playing hockey. Oskar plays a lot of ultimate frisbee, listens to music, and enjoys being out-and-about. We're both casual trumpet players, though we only practice once or twice a week so don't worry about the noise! We're looking for 1-3 people to share a house with somewhere within 7km or so (cycling distance) of ANU. We don't have any strong preferences in housemates, as long as they're roughly 18-30yrs old, don't smoke inside the house, and are socially accepting people. We hope to hear from you soon :)
I’m in my mid twenties, grew up in Canberra and am currently working at the National Library. I am quiet, non-intrusive, easy going and a non-smoker. For fun I enjoy spending my time watching movies, reading and travelling. I enjoy hanging out when the opportunity arises, but I also like spending time on my own.
I am Dean, a Graduate in the APS - with previous experience in the Queensland State Government. I hold a Law Degree from Griffith University. I am looking to move into a house/apartment in Canberra in February 2019 - either in the inner north or inner south of Canberra. I am a friendly, outgoing individual who enjoys making friends, going out to bars and having adventures. I am a clean person, who is easy to talk to and get along with. I am originally from Esk (a small country town) in Queensland about 100km's North West of Brisbane.
Hi my name is Jules! Coming from a big family I'm used to living with others and getting along with people. For me I want to move out with people that are relaxed and easy going and happy for a chat. I also respect personal space and the boundaries of other room mates. I work full time leaving early in the mornings but will be home evenings and afternoons if I'm not out playing social sports. In my downtime I like the company of others, reading, sports and chilled out Netflix sesh's. I am very independent and am able to cook/clean and care about a tidy house!!! I'm happy to live with a range of ages not really fussed.
I am relocating to Canberra from Melbourne to work full time. I am a friendly and social almost-25-year-old. I enjoy leading a busy and active lifestyle, balanced out with some relaxing at home and a good TV show. I love food, so am always up for heading out for a meal (brunch and coffee, of course), or cooking at home. I am very organised and responsible. I enjoy the company of others, but am adaptable and courteous of others’ schedules and priorities. I am looking forward to a new start in Canberra :)
I am a final year Engineering student moving to Canberra over the summer to complete my full time work placement between mid November until the end of February. I have been living in a share house in Wollongong for the last 4 years and working in hospitality. I am a bit of a nerd and enjoy gaming online, watching movies/Netflix or heading the the gym in my time off. I enjoy being social and chatting over a drink or dinner but also enjoy time to myself and respect other people's need for personal space. I clean up after myself and prefer tidy common areas. I would prefer an unfurnished room within a share house, however, if a room contains an existing double bed and space for a desk I would be happy with that too. I am looking for somewhere that is within a reasonable travel distance to Barton for work (near buses is fine). Not looking for a party house but am looking for room mates that are happy for friends to occasionally pop around and comfortable with my boyfriend staying sometimes on a weekend (He's also a huge nerd and working as an engineer).
Hey! I'm Monique and I'm currently finishing my Bachelors degree at the ANU and I work part-time for the ACT Government. I'm an easy going and clean roommate, and I spend a lot of my time out at university or work and work related events. In my spare time I love bike riding, cooking, listening to vinyl, reading, and of course having a wine. I'm currently living in Braddon and I'm looking to stay in the inner North area. Feel free to shoot me a message, I'm looking to move out in December as my lease ends on the 20th. PS: I'm a non smoker and have no pets, but it's totally cool if you do! - Monique :)
