I'm friendly, clean and easy going. I moved here from W.A a few months ago and canberra has really surprised me and grown on me! I am happy to chill out with a tea on my own or have a chat over a couple of drinks. Love pets if you have them! Looking for a room to rent and am fairly flexible.
I'm a 24-year-old relaxed and tidy young professional from Helsinki, Finland. I’m coming to Canberra for an internship so I prefer living somewhere within 30min bus ride from Yarralumla but what matters most is a nice place to live in. My budget is max 250/week and I would love to have a bed in the room but I'll figure it out. I’ve lived flatmate-life for multiple years in Helsinki and Berlin with Australians, Finns, Germans and Italians. I study political science in my master’s and I'm very enthusiastic about it. I’m chill, kind and really funny. I value my privacy but I also love meeting new people and I don't mind grabbing a drink with my housemates every once in a while. If you might have a place for me to stay please get in touch!
Hi! I'm moving all the way from Perth and will be continuing my learning journey as an educator in Parkes. I'm an easy-going person who values other people's privacy, but is happy to join and have a chat over a meal or head out to places for brunch and dinner.
I am Dean, a Graduate in the APS - with previous experience in the Queensland State Government. I hold a Law Degree from Griffith University. I am looking to move into a house/apartment in Canberra in February 2019 - either in the inner north or inner south of Canberra. I am a friendly, outgoing individual who enjoys making friends, going out to bars and having adventures. I am a clean person, who is easy to talk to and get along with. I am originally from Esk (a small country town) in Queensland about 100km's North West of Brisbane.
APS graduate moving to Canberra from Melbourne in early February. I am an easy-going person who enjoys a healthy balance of socialising and time spent alone. I have previous experience living independently and always ensure the place is neat and tidy. I love meeting new people and enjoy spending my free time keeping active, playing board games and sharing good company over quality food and drinks.
Hi all! I'm relocating from Brisbane to Canberra for a full-time role with the APS in early February. Bit about myself I am originally from a place called Yeppoon in FNQ and have been living in Brisbane for the last 5 years for university. I am very social and enjoy travelling, watching the latest reality TV and exploring on weekends. I am super neat, respect people's privacy and pay all my bills in advance and am looking for similar housemates. I can bring to the house a TV, couch, queen sized bed and a bar fridge but am happy to sell everything should there not be room. I have a car so will need parking. Hit me up if you have anything going :)
Moving to Canberra to start full-time work as part of the APS. Avid photographer and reader. Always happy to chat and socialise, but also appreciate alone time. I am tidy and clean up after myself, but also desperately learning how to cook: any help would be appreciated!
I am starting a graduate position with the APS. I am fairly social and open to hanging out or just relaxing at home. I am looking for a place with a carpark to get myself established in Canberra. Am fairly flexible with the length of stay, I could be happy to settle in for the longer term.
Hi there ! My name is Nurjan. I’m 26 and I'm from Switzerland. I will be working at the Swiss Embassy In Canberra for the next 6 months. I am easy going, clean, organised, respectful and non-smoker. Besides work, I spend my time playing sports (soccer, badminton) or catching up on TV series. I also enjoy doing photography. On the weekends I love to try new cafes/bars, head to the beach or just relax at home. I’m also a bit of a foodie so I’m always down for trying knew restaurants or having a cook up at home. As I'm from Switzerland, I don't know anything about Canberra, so I’d love a housemate(s) who would be keen to catch up over a glass of wine and cheese but I’m definitely respectful of those I live with and that everyone needs their alone time (especially after a busy day at work). Cheers.

I'm 30 years old and work professionally. I tend to work quite long hours so outside of work I like to keep my downtime pretty relaxed and chilled. I love getting outside and excited to explore Canberra's parks and walks.

I'm also looking forward to doing some of the hikes around Canberra. I'm looking for a room in a sharehouse where I can make friends and have fun with my flatmates, but also have a place to relax. I also like to keep a clean and tidy place. I also have a boyfriend who works out of town but would visit once a month.

Hi, as well as being a career public servant, I'm a quiet country guy from northern NSW. I'll be working compressed hours so that I can get back to the farm as much as possible. I'm a relaxed sort of person - I don't mind a chat and I'm equally happy to respect privacy and personal space. I'm tidy and committed to chipping in to help clean up. To be honest, I'm a pretty average cook but a healthy eater. For those weekends I'll be in Canberra, I'm looking forward to enjoying the green space and catching up with friends. But I also don't mind binge-watching trashy TV:) I’d prefer to be within walking distance of work in Barton.
Hi future roomie/s! We are needing a place to move into for a job I start in February. We would be looking to move in around the 25th of January or after (we can be flexible :) ) We ideally need to live fairly close to Civic (inner north or Kingston/Barton area) and we're looking for a friendly and relaxed home where the a few vinos can be enjoyed on the weekend. We also would most likely need a parking space. I (Erin) am starting a full time contract in February and am moving from the Gold Coast but I have lived in Canberra before. Ryan is American but has been living in Australia for a year and a half. We're clean and tidy, world travelled, respectful and all round good people. You'll love us! If you have any questions, ask away! Can't wait to hear from you :)
New to Canberra & have relocated for work from Sydney. I require short term rental which allows a dog while I find my own place. I have a Groodle who is adorable, very placid & just wants to be friends with everyone. I am a professional business woman who is very clean & tidy, social, loves the outdoors & keeping fit. If this is what you are looking for, please contact me as I am wanting to move by end of January.
Hey, My name is Teneale, I'm from Sydney. I'll be moving to Canberra next year for a graduate job, starting on the 4th Feb. It would be great if I could move in before then, but I could be persuaded to hold back on moving until the 11th. I'm friendly, easy-going and always happy to help out around the house - I don't have experience living in shared rental accomodation. BUT, growing up, I travelled a lot for sporting competitions and shared a room with different individuals. I'm also deaf, with a cochlear implant in one ear, so loud voices/noises late at night or early in the morning, wont bother me at all! Also, for those of you who are shift workers, I always take care to make sure be as quite as possible when necessary (growing up with sister who is a Dr. has that effect) I'm not super keen on big social events, but I do like to go out for a coffee/drink every now and then. I mainly enjoy spending my time watching various television shows and movies, including Game of Thrones, the Avengers and cheesy RomComs on Netflix.
Hi, I'm Nancy and I'll be moving to Canberra (from Sydney) in Feb to study Honours at ADFA - looking for a room in the inner North or South Canberra. I've got sharehouse experience and good rental history. I'm fairly introverted and respect housemates' privacy, but as I'll be new to the city I'm quite keen to socialise and have a chat and share meals and a drink when we're all free. I'm excited to explore walks and hikes around Canberra, and hoping to improve my cooking and baking skills. I'm tidy, a non-smoker and don't have pets (but more than happy to share with pets!).
