My name is Crystal, I am moving from Sydney to Canberra for an APS job, starting in January 2020. Currently I'm look to rent a furnished place (flexible) for 6 months initially, sharing a flat with another 1/2 working professionals if possible. Property- floorboards throughout preferable I am a bit of a bookworm, and expect to find new coffee joint for my caffefine fix, I run marathons to stay fit and also bouldering. I enjoy quiet time for walks in nature. If you're looking for someone, feel free to get in touch.
I've recently quit my job to go back to uni full time and am doing two postgrad courses. I'm from Victoria but studying at ANU and will be driving back and forth a lot. I won't be in Canberra for at least 13 weeks of the uni year due to rural placements. I'm preferably looking for somewhere that is within 10mins bike ride of ANU or Questacon. I'll be needing a room from early Feb till approx. Nov but am super flexible. I'd prefer furnished if possible. I would be happy for you to AirBnB my room out while I am not around. Also flexible on price but would prefer to spend less than $200 pw (student life 😔) I love science and learning. I also like hiking and dogs. I also like cooking and bad puns. I love travel and have a few trips booked in next year (somehow have to squeeze them in amongst the study!) I don't mind the occasional social drink but not looking for a house full of party animals. I don't smoke and I am very clean. I like to think I'm easy to get along with, and don't mind watching a movie etc with housemates but I'm not expecting to be your best friend. I previously lived in a 4 bedroom house with 5 other people and a 3 bedroom house with 1 other person, and would prefer less housemates if possible. I will be spending a lot of time studying so will need internet access if possible. My boyfriend would be visiting on occasional weekends but wouldn't be staying long term. I've previously had success with flatmates.com.au so hoping to find somewhere again! Any questions, please ask away!
I am looking for a room with own bathroom for a flexible period , preferable no more than 3 months. I am quiet, friendly and respectful but also enjoy a chat. I enjoy getting out and about going for walks and socialising with friends. I work full time in a government position in Barton, hoping to find somewhere I can walk to work from. I am in temporary arrangement with a friend currently , so hoping to find a place at the latest 1st week January. Looking forward to meeting my next flatmate soon.
I am an undergraduate student, currently working in a hotel for my Industry Placement. I am from Vietnam. Because I am studying hospitality so I am extrovert, friendly and easy-going.
Hi! I'm from Sydney moving to Canberra in February 2020 to undertake an APS graduate position. Ideally, I'm looking for one other professional or student to team up and find a 2 bedroom apartment that is close to public transport. I'm open-minded and social as needed. I think I would enjoy hanging out with someone in the evenings or weekends as I'm leaving all friends in Sydney and starting from scratch in a new city! I enjoy games of all sorts, especially those that can be competitive. I'm big on communication so that we can live comfortably in a place with shared up-keep! More than happy to have a chat about anything and be friends rather than just housemates. It would be great if there are any others who will be starting graduate positions next year. Feel free to message me and thanks for reading :)
Hi! I'm Tuva, currently working part time as a techincal support engineer and studying full time at UC (Marketing Communications). I'm looking to move out at the end of December or early January, and would prefer to be able to stay for around ~6 months at this time.
I'm a public service contractor, originally from Sydney but have been living in Canberra since 2011. I'm a quiet, clean, relaxed, open minded and respectful housemate who generally keeps to themselves but is up for the occasional hang/dinner/TV binge. I'm looking for housemates of a similar age who like a tidy and easy going living environment.
Hi! My names Jarrod and i'm 18 years old and relocating to Canberra to take up a Permanent Full-time job at the Department of Treasury as an Analyst in the International Policy and Engagement Division. I'm a pretty relaxed dude, i'm organised, clean, tidy and don't smoke! I'm looking to move down from Queensland sometime between the 20th-25th of January.
Hello! My name is Peter and I will be starting a grad role at the APS in Feb 2020. I am Korean by ethnicity but born and raised in Brisbane. I am super keen to explore Canberra and get out and about, but also like to chill at home by myself or with others. I would ideally love a clean, simple place with my own bathroom, and ideally a carspace as I will likely be bringing my car down. I am super easy going, clean, respectful and have lived with friends before with no dramas :)
Hello, I'm Ben. I consider myself to be a fairly regular 26 year old male. Love getting along with people and open minded. Canberra born and bred. Bit of a Jack of all trades. Trying to get back into keeping active after joining the public service. Do a bit of gaming (Won't chew up too much bandwidth though). I also enjoy a drink and being social, although I'm usually the quiet one in a group. Clean and tidy around the house especially in shared areas. More of a 'clean up after myself' type rather than 'everyone has their turn' but I'm flexible and will fit in with established practices. Not much of a cook but willing to learn. Will do my fair share of housework. Would love to find a place with flat mates that appreciate a really friendly vibe. Would prefer to have a 'trial period' but would love to find the right place to stay at for longer. Cheers,
Hi I'm Will :) Works full time in tech support. I'm a clean, reliable, friendly and respectful housemate. Always down to share cooking / other household duties. Loves electronic music. Looking to join an existing share house with a public transport route to civic.
