Hey guys! I'm a very relaxed and easy person to live with. I work full-time and often travel for work. Clean, tidy and respectfully of others. I'm also quite social - I love going out for a drink (several drinks), dinner etc. I do have a car so I will need a car space and I occasionally have my beautiful golden retriever with me (house trained).
I'm friendly and easy going, mostly keep to myself - but wouldn't mind occasional chats and a bit of a social house. I'll be starting full time work in Jan end. I like to keep the house tidy and am respectful of other housemates. I like to cook sometimes, read and have occasional outings with friends. I don't have a car, so would ideally like to live within walking distance (upto 10 minutes) from a main bus stop.
I'm moving to Canberra from Perth in order to commence a graduate position with the APS. I'm friendly and get along with different personalities. I like to explore so will be out most weekends. I enjoy going to gigs and the beach in my spare time and am planning on moving my car with me so that I can go on day trips once I'm settled in.
Hi, I'm a 5th year law student looking for a place to live. I'll be working part-time and studying full-time. Easy-going, clean and organised. Doesn't throw parties but might have friends over. Likes swimming, reading, coffee and going out for drinks once in a while. Doesn't smoke, no pets. Has a car so can drive you around from time to time, but no promises. HMU!
Hey all, I’m looking a for a place to live around Canberra. I’m a full time student, will be studying Medical Science at either UC or ANU. I need to move to Canberra either the 27th or the 28th of January as I have a Chemistry bridging course to complete at ANU. I left school at the end of year 10 to pursue full time work as that was related to my goal at that time. I’ve been out of school for two years now adventuring, experiencing, and learning the real world so I know how to look after myself a whole hell of a lot better than when I was in year 10. I’m a very social, cheery guy (sorry my picture doesn’t show it haha, best I have) from a little country town called Lithgow. Love hanging out with people, I respect others personal space and time. I’m clean, tidy, and organised. I can and I enjoy cooking. I am very extraverted so i'll happily spend time with people and hangout. I’m an avid mountain biker and other extreme sports lover, so I would need some space to store a bike. Also love going to the gym (Anytime Fitness). Love music, you will very rarely catch me not listening to music (Led Zeppelin, and disco are a couple of my favourites). Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey! I am a 4th year physiotherapy student starting my placement year in Canberra. During the week, I'll be at work and then straight to the gym or for a run (I like to exercise a lot) followed by a cook up. I've lived on campus for the past 3 years and played rugby union for the university. I am very social and will be down for an adventure, a feed or a drink on the weekend (although I may need someone to show me around canberra). Ideally, I am looking for a social share-house of working adults.
Hello, I am about to start a full time APS graduate role and looking to relocated to Canberra. I am a quiet but active person. I love music and the arts, as well as having meaningful conversations about current issues around the world. I am very respectful and neat. I also enjoy playing all kinds of sport, or just simply trying to maintain an active life style as well as a quiet night in playing board games! I hope to hear back from you.
I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney at the beginning of February to start a job with the Department of Social Services and am looking for a room in a friendly share house. I'm 24 and have lived in share houses for the past 4 years, so I am used to living with others and sharing responsibilities and costs. I'm super easy going and can get along with all types of people. I love being able to hang out with my housemates, and share meals or watch TV together, but also value my own space and respect others'. I'm moving to Canberra on the 2nd Feb and have booked a hotel for the first 3 weeks, so am hoping to find a room to move into in that time. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or think I could be a good fit for your home :)
I've recently relocated to Canberra from Melbourne for a role in the public service. I'm looking for a decent sized room in an established share house in the city or inner suburbs. I'm very tidy and friendly, and I like to run and cook. I have bedroom furniture in storage, along with a big screen smart TV that may be appropriate for a living room in need of one, and am ready to move in in late Jan or early Feb.
Hi there :) I'm a 22 year old from Brisbane moving to Canberra for a position in the public service. I'm looking for a room in a share house that is close to public transport - I don't have a car and will need to be able to move easily around Canberra. I also need an unfurnished room, as I am bringing my bedroom furniture from Brisbane. I would love to live in a social share house, but also respect each others' privacy. As I will be working full time, I will be quiet during the week but keen to explore Canberra and meet people on the weekends. In my spare time, I really love to cook (and to share! :D ) and see new places. If you have a room that may be suitable, please let me know! :) I'm looking to move in and start paying rent ASAP.
I'm a fun loving 28 year old PE teacher relocating from Sydney for a full time job! I am sporty (play netball, futsal and go to the gym), i love the outdoors and I love exploring! I am looking for a friendly house where my roomies will be welcoming and up for a chat and a laugh - maybe the odd social event - but respectful of privacy and down time. Every few weekends I will travel back to Sydney to see my family and in the winter I hope to get down the snow frequently! **Flexible with move in date AND length of lease
Hi! I study at ANU and work in Barton and am looking for a place to move into. I am easy going, tidy and enjoy cooking. My current lease ends on the 31st of Jan so I am looking to organise something as soon as possible! Hope to hear from you, cheers.
Hey! I'm Amanda, 21, moving to Canberra to start my Master's degree at ANU. I'm looking for somewhere quiet to live and study, but also enjoy meeting new people and socialising. I'm from Sydney and have only visited the Parliament House and Questacon before, so keen to see what else Canberra has to offer!
I'm a Masters student at the ANU originally from Sydney. I'm easy going as a housemate and I'm respectful of people's time and space, but I'm also happy to be social in the house. I'm a non smoker and occasional drinker.
My name is Hannah and I am moving down from Sydney for a full-time position with the APS In late January. I am a neat and tidy non-smoker, looking for shared accommodation for a minimum period of 1 year. I live a pretty active lifestyle and spend my free time out and about, hanging out with friends, and hitting the gym but will just as happily binge watch some TV from time to time. For the most part, I keep to myself however, my friends consider me a pretty good cook so I am happy to share a drink or meal some evenings to wind down if that’s your style. (As I’m a Canberra newbie, I’m keen to take any hot tips you might have!)
Hey! My name is Bec, I am 25 years old and originally from Melbourne. I moved up to Canberra last year for a public service job. I have shared before in Melbourne and I'd love to find another place with a homely feel that is social and friendly, but I also appreciate some down time to myself. I am also clean and tidy. In my free time I like cooking, hiking, reading and hanging out with friends. I'll also be studying this year in addition to full time work so that will keep me busy.
Hi! We are looking for a 3rd housemate to join our A-team in Canberra. To introduce ourselves: India is 21 and moving up from Melbourne l to start med at ANU. I love exploring new places, getting outdoors and being physically active whenever I can get my head out of the books- whether it's a run/hike or just cafe-hopping with a damn good book (assuming there is more than one cafe in Canberra?) I'm interested in philosophy/politics/the environment and often start online courses on this stuff that I never finish. I love playing music, listening to music, almond teas and Annabel Crabb and Leigh Sales' podcast. Lara is 23 and moving up from Adelaide to start a grad job with DFAT so will be working full time. I’m really outdoorsy and a pretty big greenie so will probably be found on weekends hiking or trying unsuccessfully to raise a veggie garden, love chatting about the universe over a glass of vino at the end of the day, am a big traveller and drink ~17 cups of tea a day. We’re looking fairly central, roughly from O’Connor down to Kingston, but will see what we can find! Our budget is up to around $250 each but obviously trying to get a great deal, and we’re looking more at houses than at apartments at this stage just because grass and trees r really nice. We're trying to create a social, laid back household but also understand need for space and privacy!. If you’re still looking for a team-up and this sounds like it would work well with your vibe, let us know! 🙂 India and Lara
I’m a part-time student studying politics, philosophy, and economics at ANU. I work at LUSH, T2, and an LGBTQI+ not-for-profit. (So I promise our bathroom will smell nice and you will never be without a morning beverage!) I’m from Melbourne, love going on outdoor adventures, and have a small car called Conchita. During a regular week, I would be out of the house for most of the day (at work or studying) but would be back home in the evenings. I’m extroverted and naturally surround myself with other people, but I also appreciate and respect my own - and more importantly, other peoples - quiet space/time. Some things I really enjoy are cooking, Netflix, wine and cheese, and a good book. I’m a very clean person and can easily fit into an existing schedule. At a minimum, you can always rely on me to clean up my dishes, wipe the bench after I’m done, vacuum once a week, and most importantly…to replace the toilet roll after I take the last square.
Easy going, social, shared before, studying full time. Like people, pet friendly. I already miss my dog! (OK, she's my parents, but she loves me) I like to cook. Apparently I sing to myself when I'm happy. I like chilling out, often by reading or writing, and im hoping to improve my water colour skills this year. I'm starting a masters at ANU Jan 22 and I'm looking for somewhere to live! My course runs until the end of November, and while I will be away as part of my study, I'm looking for somewhere I'm glad to return to. I am really looking for somewhere within 5-6km cycle of either ANU or Questacon.
I work full time for Federal Government, I've been told I'm a pretty chilled, and clean housemate. I'm a musician and a gamer, however I won't play music loudly unless you're not home. I am a Vegan (but I won't judge your lifestyle). I have the most beautiful, gentle and sweet adult cat, who is impeccably trained and thus is easy to live with. I love coffee and do enjoy a drink, but I don't host any parties. I'm serious about having a place with good internet, air conditioning and heating. Importantly, I'm willing to do all the ground work to find a pet friendly house that isn't too far from Civic.
