Hi! My names Jarrod and i'm 18 years old and relocating to Canberra to take up a Permanent Full-time job at the Department of Treasury as an Analyst in the International Policy and Engagement Division. I'm a pretty relaxed dude, i'm organised, clean, tidy and don't smoke! I'm looking to move down from Queensland sometime between the 20th-25th of January.
Hello! My name is Peter and I will be starting a grad role at the APS in Feb 2020. I am Korean by ethnicity but born and raised in Brisbane. I am super keen to explore Canberra and get out and about, but also like to chill at home by myself or with others. I would ideally love a clean, simple place with my own bathroom, and ideally a carspace as I will likely be bringing my car down. I am super easy going, clean, respectful and have lived with friends before with no dramas :)
Hello, I'm Ben. I consider myself to be a fairly regular 26 year old male. Love getting along with people and open minded. Canberra born and bred. Bit of a Jack of all trades. Trying to get back into keeping active after joining the public service. Do a bit of gaming (Won't chew up too much bandwidth though). I also enjoy a drink and being social, although I'm usually the quiet one in a group. Clean and tidy around the house especially in shared areas. More of a 'clean up after myself' type rather than 'everyone has their turn' but I'm flexible and will fit in with established practices. Not much of a cook but willing to learn. Will do my fair share of housework. Would love to find a place with flat mates that appreciate a really friendly vibe. Would prefer to have a 'trial period' but would love to find the right place to stay at for longer. Cheers,
Hi! I'm Tuva, currently working part time as a techincal support engineer and studying full time at UC (Marketing Communications). I'm looking to move out at the end of December or early January, and would prefer to be able to stay for around ~6 months at this time.
Hi I'm Will :) Works full time in tech support. I'm a clean, reliable, friendly and respectful housemate. Always down to share cooking / other household duties. Loves electronic music. Looking to join an existing share house with a public transport route to civic.
Hi, I’m Ellen! I’ll be moving down to Canberra from Brisbane in February, 2020, for an APS position. I’ve recently returned home to Australia after living/working/studying in the US for the past 10 years, and I’m excited to start this next chapter in Canberra. I would love to fill a spot in a friendly shared house or apartment, or find 1-2 people to team up with and find the perfect place. I’ve lived in shared houses and apartments for the past 10 years, so I understand the importance of being clean, considerate, respectful, and willing to chip in with chores/shared responsibilities. I’m ideally looking for a friendly, chill, and comfortable place to come home to after work in the evenings. While I understand and respect everyone’s need for privacy and quiet time, I would love to find a housemate who would be interested in the occasional wine night, house dinner, TV/movie night, or weekend activity. Since I’m new to the city, I’m looking to make friends and explore the surrounding areas. I enjoy all things outdoors – hiking, running, going to the beach. I also love to travel, read, visit museums, check out new bars/restaurants, and play recreational sports. My move-in date is somewhat flexible, as is the location, although I would prefer to live somewhere fairly central. I have a car, so I would also be looking for a covered parking space. Oh, and I’m a non-smoker; I’d prefer if my housemates were, too. Please feel free to send me a message if you think I’d be a good fit for your current home, or if you’d like to team up :)
A born and bred Canberran, I work full-time as a Doctor at the Canberra Hospital. I am also completing a Masters degree with USyd part-time. Next year I’ll be a working as a GP in the city, and doing some weekend shifts in the Emergency Department. For the past two years I've lived in a 3-bedroom shared apartment in Barton. I pride myself on being a respectful and tidy housemate. I like being social with those I live with (e.g. going out for coffee/brunch or dinner etc), but also happy to do my own thing. Looking to move into a 2 or 3-bedroom apartment in Barton for a 12 month term - either teaming up to apply or moving into an existing place. My preference would be to live with other health professionals, APS graduates or other professionals. Available to move from mid-December. If needed, I have a 6-seat dining table and chairs, fridge, washing machine, microwave and x3 couches.
I am a 23 year old female moving to Canberra in Feb 2020 to start a graduate role with the APS. I am from Melbourne, and have just finished my BA and BComm undergraduate degree. I am looking for a share house with a few young professionals (or post-graduate students) who are happy to hang out and are considerate of others. I am a friendly and bubbly person, and a very tidy and respectful housemate.
Hi, I'm Hannah and I am on the search for a great share house or group of people to move in with. Ill be making the move to Canberra in 2020 to start a graduate program with the federal government. Originally from Tassie, I moved to Melbourne for uni over 5 years ago and I am excited to start this next chapter in Canberra. In my free time you will often catch me out and about with friends sharing good food and a few wines or at the odd festival. I also enjoy going for walks and the odd Netflix/reality TV binge. I'm easy going and love a chat at the end of the day, but also understand and respect the need for privacy and personal space. I have lived within both share houses and apartments for the last 5 years, so I understand the need to be clean, tidy and to respect our home. I Ideally I would love to find something by the end of the year/first two weeks of Jan. I'm flexible on location as long as I'm near transport and not to far from the city. I'm more looking for great company so if I sound like someone that might fit into your current home, or someone that you might like to join up with send me a message. PS only looking for a unfurnished room :)
