Hey, just moved to Canberra to live the APS dream. I’m clean, tidy and respectful of both your belongings and your space. I’m easy going, enjoy sports, a beer or wine after work, chilling with friends and getting away on the weekends. Looking forward to meeting you.
Hi future roomie/s! We are needing a place to move into for a job I start in February. We would be looking to move in around the end of January at this stage. We ideally need to live fairly close to Civic (inner north or Kingston/Barton area) and we're looking for a friendly and relaxed home where the a few vinos can be enjoyed on the weekend. I (Erin) am starting a full time contract in February and am moving from the Gold Coast but I have lived in Canberra before. Ryan is American but has been living in Australia for a year and a half. We're clean and tidy, world travelled, respectful and all round good people. You'll love us! If you have any questions, ask away! Can't wait to hear from you :)
I am a young doctor, starting at Canberra hospital in Feb 2019. Looking for a lovely furnished apartment in the southern suburbs. I am an ambivert who loves to have a good chat but also appreciates some downtime with myself. A fitness enthusiast, budding photographer and a bookworm is how I can describe myself best. I enjoy my coffee but also happy to share a bottle of wine. Cheers!
Moving to Canberra for work. I am pretty laid back. I like my alone time, but also like hanging out with people and sharing dinner and/or a glass of wine. Hoping to find nice, easy-to-live with flatmates. Four-legged flatmates are a big bonus. Interests include gardening, books, travel, nature walks, live music and so on.
I am 24 years old, easygoing, very tidy, friendly and enjoy cooking! If I get time, I enjoy visiting weekend markets, cooking new dishes and sharing food with my roomies. I also enjoy reading, jazz bar, morning jogging and traveling. I am originally from China and just moved to Canberra in February this year. I enjoy working and living in this lovely city very much.
Looking for a new room in the inner north or south as my lease is up. I've been in Canberra for a few years at ANU and am starting a grad job in the new year. I keep pretty busy and active, but also keen for a cheeky wine in the evenings.
Current lease ends in March 2019, looking for a place to move in immediately after that > full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
Hi. Originally from Sydney, moving to Canberra to join the APS in mid January. I'm a tidy and easy going person that enjoys baking and origami in my spare time. I try to keep active with pilates and (most recently) indoor rock climbing. Hope to hear from you soon.
I'm a full time IT guy in the public sector who has being in Canberra for about a year now. I'm pretty out and about socially but am also fond of chilling out in my room after work or having a quiet dinner and board game/TV night with friends. A few of the things I have being enjoying in Canberra is going hiking and picnicking in the national parks, I'll basically live at the snow once the season is back in and otherwise enjoy the occasional weekend down at the coast in the warmer part of the year. One of my current hobbies is seeing how much chocolate I can cram into various baked goods. I like to keep a tidy house and am looking for people who also enjoy tidiness as well as a healthy mix of sociability and privacy :)
Hey, I'm an easy going, clean, quiet guy working full-time as an engineer and looking for a room to stay in for at least 4+ months. Moved to Canberra from Sydney roughly 2 years ago. I usually leave early for work and if I'm not out rock climbing, I'm always up for a chat and a beer.
I'm a quiet country fella, from northern NSW. I'll be working compressed hours and getting back to the farm as much as possible. I'm a relaxed sort of person - I don't mind a chat and I'm equally happy to respect privacy and personal space. I've gotta say I'm a pretty average cook but a healthy eater. For those weekends I'll be in Canberra, I'm looking forward to enjoying the green space and catching up with friends. But I also don't mind binge-watching trashy TV:) I’d prefer to be within walking distance of work in Barton.
I'm an easy going guy who is new to Canberra. Coming from Perth after just graduating from Uni to work as an IT Analyst. I'm definitely more of a "let's have a night in" kinda guy. I enjoy chill nights watching Netflix and playing video games but I am happy to go out every so often to see what Canberra has to offer! I'm an absolute sucker for good food, especially when it's takeaway but I'll be trying to cook more to save money! I try to go to the gym a few times a week, but I'm not very good at motivating myself so having a gym buddy would be sweet as. I'm a bit of a tech nerd too (kinda why I'm working in IT) so if the WiFi goes down, I'm your guy. I'm looking for somewhere to stay (obviously) but I'm also looking to meet new people and to make some new friends! I'm aiming for a pretty chill group of people, not really after anyone who's going to be throwing house parties every weekend... The main thing I'm after is having my own room and bathroom, but my ideal place would also have easy access to public transport, parking for my car, fast internet and is close-ish to the shops and/or a gym. I've never lived with flatmates before but I'm genuinely keen to give it a try! Thanks!
Hi, I'm Rhys I'm starting full time work at The Treasury, and I'm looking for a chilled out place in Canberra to live. Ideally, I'd like somewhere that's quiet and relaxed during the week, but open to having a glass of wine or a beer on the weekend.
Hi there! My name is Callum and I just graduated from my Honours in Philosophy at UC. I currently work at a bakery/cafe near the Airport and am hoping to move to central Canberra to be closer to my work and also ANU for post-graduate study (Currently a 30 minute drive). I absolutely love cooking: i will likely force poached eggs, avocado on toast and an array of experiments down my potential housemates throats. I love a good glass of red wine (or shot of vodka/gin + tonic). I read and write a lot, love nature, Netflix, hiking, travelling and generally have little obsessions that crop up (Recently it was homemade Pizza bases + freshly baked bread). I am very easy-going, relaxed, communicative (like i talk through most issues i have with people, often to a fault because i absolutely cannot stand resentment), clean, caring and helpful person.
Looking for a place for at least 12 months. Hobbies include sports and other recreational activities, I have a cat named Mac who’s very low maintenance and sweet. Enjoy riding my bike everywhere. Like to socialise and cook but also enjoy alone time every now and then :))
I am clean and tidy at home. I am new to Canberra, relocating to commence a new role in the public sector on 7th January 2019 so looking for accomodation from 5th January 2019 for six months initially. I enjoy the company of other people as well as some down one on one time. I also like a glass of wine every now and again as well as yoga, meditation, natural therapies and walking.
I will be moving from Wollongong to CBR to study a master of science communication outreach at ANU in 2019 and am looking for a place near the university to reside next year. Beside study and part-time work commitments I enjoy being outside and staying physically active.
I am from Thailand. I have been awarded a full scholarship to study abroad and am attending a postgraduate program in biological science at ANU next year. I am kind of shy but always nice to make new friends. I love to learn new things and share experiences with other people. I love travelling and outdoor activities like hiking and diving. I enjoy watching fantasy movies or TV series, reading young adult literatures and listening to various kinds of music in my free time. My cooking skill is poor but I am trying. I am looking for a furnished, quiet room.
Hi, I'm Tyler! I finished my uni studies this year (Psyc and Commerce) and am moving to Canberra for a grad role at the APS in February 2019. Last year's grads have told me the rental market gets real rough closer to Feb, so happy to start looking a little earlier to make things easier! I've lived out of home for the last year, and am a tidy housemate. I spend my off time reading and playing keyboard (I can plug in headphones so I'm not a nuisance). I'm occasionally active, riding my pushbike or going for a run or hike. I'm social and up for a chat, board games and cards but also enjoy time on my own. My gf currently works in Sydney so I'll commute up there some weekends. 1-2 others would be preferable with a private bathroom but that's not super necessary. I'm looking near the Parliamentary Triangle to make the work commute easier but am unsure which suburbs are best, so I'm pretty flexible with location! Please don't hesitate to get in touch!
