I am a 25 year old lawyer from Melbourne, commencing a position with the public service. I enjoy bouldering, hiking and being active. I also love good food, cooking, reading and animals. So if you have a dog that is a plus. I am clean, considerate and happy to get together for dinners, movies or board games. I also like to try new things. I will likely head down to Melbourne every three to four weekends.
Not looking for a place until October Hey guys I'm a youth worker, I have escaped Canberra for the winter but will be looking for a place to live when I return. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans. Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
Hi there! I am a lawyer who has been living in the UK and doing my Masters for the past year. I am moving to Canberra to take up a job at the AGS at the start of September. I am very friendly, respectful, easy going and tidy. I respect privacy but am always up for hanging out over drinks or a meal. Hope to hear from you!
I work in the non-profit sector, am originally from Queensland but by now am veeeeery used to Canberra. I’m sharehouse trained and love a good cup of tea. Despite the massive cliche, I’m pretty clean and neat and want a social place to live in whilst enjoying my own space! Bonus - I come with all the furniture needed to move into a new place!
Hi there! I'm Venus, a Canadian looking for a place in Canberra as I'm here for a working holiday for six months. I have a background in communications, and a deep love for The Office (US version). I'm easy-going, friendly and like to keep things clean. I enjoy connecting with people, but also being mindful of others' spaces. Looking for: - likeminded, organized, easy-going roommate(s) - a furnished room - preferably my own bathroom, but not necessary - looking for someone who isn't afraid to remove spiders In my spare time, I enjoy reading, museums, exploring hiking trails, experimenting with recipes, and watching Netflix, quietly, in my room :)
From next month I will split my time between Melbourne (where my partner lives) and Canberra. I will be in Canberra approximately 4 nights a fortnight (Mon-Fri every second week) and I am looking for a room in a quiet, professional house - ideally within walking distance of the Parliamentary triangle - where I could stay every second week. I'm a lawyer and I hold a senior position in the federal public service. I'm a clean, respectful and friendly person. My interests are spending time with friends and family, travel, history, politics, languages, reading and spending time outside (e.g. walking and at the beach).
Hello! I am Isabel and I am currently studying archaeology at ANU. I am looking for a long term place to stay, for 6 months or more. I am looking for a place that is either close to ANU or is close to a bus/tram stop that will take me there. Besides that, I only really wish to have internet access, so I can do my assignments at home too. My move in dates are flexible (from mid-August until mid-February), so don't worry about the date I wrote down :) I am usually very tidy and will not make a mess on commonly shared areas (such as the bathroom or living rooms). I am quiet, but also love to have a good conversation from time to time. I am very good with animals, so if you have one, I will be at my happiest. I also don't mind sharing the house with smokers as the smell doesn't bother me. My hobbies include watching a BUNCH of movies and tv series. So I would be down for a movie night once in a while. I also love board game and video games (although I do not own any myself) - so feel free to geek out with me.
I have a gov contract til April 2020 and need a Canberra base. Scientist working F/T Mon-Fri. I fly home to Brisbane every 2-3 weeks on weekend to see my partner - kind of FIFO :) I'm quiet and clean lady, non smoker, beer/wine-lover, positive outlook. Looking to share with same. Make my own meals. I read or watch Netflix when home. Share cleaning / gardening. I respect your privacy and like my own and am up for friendly chats. I surf, hike, cycle and do outdoorsy adventures. Need a place for my car and bicycle. Love pets, but sadly allergic to cats.
Hi guys, my name's Daniel and I'm a pilot originally from Perth but have spent the last year and a half in Newcastle. I will be moving to Canberra for the foreseeable future from late September. I'm hoping to find a share house initially as a base for a few months from where I can more easily look for rentals and settle into the new town. I am a really practical and down to Earth kind of guy. I love new experiences and lead an active lifestyle so enjoy getting out for a run, swim, hike/camp, travelling or sampling different local beers. I don't smoke and I won't be bringing any kids or pets and will gladly help out around the place and tend to be pretty clean myself. So looking for kind of the same in a housemate. The ideal location would have a supermarket, some cafes and maybe a pub/bar or two within a short distance but I am pretty easy. Good public transport options are pretty important too. I prefer something on my own up to a share house with a maximum of 4 occupants total and am pretty clean and very considerate myself. So if you happen to have a room or would like to look at starting up a new share house and think I may be a good fit, please feel free to contact me. Cheers! Dan
I am working as an APS around Forrest. I really enjoy nature and exploring the outdoors, going on hikes and to beaches. I also love artistic films, listening to music and reading. I am looking for walking distance to Forrest or a maximum of 20 minute drive to Forrest. I am very flexible and do not require a personal bathroom. Additionally, I am a neat and tidy person who enjoys socialising but respects others' space.
I am a young professional working in the APS looking to live with housemates of similar age. I'm active, enjoy going to the gym and spending my weekends catching up with friends, brunching, markets and getting outdoors for a run. I am clean, tidy and organised, and although I'm not looking for a party house, I am looking for housemates that I can socialise with sometimes.
