Hi there, I’m a creative, caring, self employed woman who is looking for a stable house for myself and my nearly 12 yr old poodle cross dog. I am friendly, reliable and considerate and looking for a homey house, or to team up with one other person. My beloved doggy is in the latter years of his life, so looking for a dog friendly stable house for a year, whilst saving up to buy a property. I like film, good tv (and some trash TV), don’t drink or smoke. I am fairly quiet and respectful and like to live with people I can chat and laugh with. I work part time in a creative industry and am also building a business, so work from home some days.
IT professional looking for a fully furnished room for up to a few months, but short lengths are fine. I'm originally from Melbourne have been in Canberra about 4 years. Currently working Fyshwick. I ride a Vespa everywhere and like coffee.
Friendly , social , coffee lover and easy going single working professional. Full time engineering job in Canberra. Relocating from Melbourne to Canberra in mid May 2019. Likes to keep clean, tidy and keep healthy lifestyle. :)
I am looking for a new place to live in Canberra and would ideally like to stay in Kingston. I’m currently away for work but will be back May 21, so the timing of the apartment becoming available really appeals to me as well (happy to start paying rent a couple of weeks earlier before I move in to secure the room) If you are keen to talk beforehand it would be great to arrange a quick skype chat to see if we get along and talk things through. I am happy to take your advice on the apartment, but I could also arrange someone to view it on my behalf if need be. A bit about me – I am a 25yr old Male who loves his Sport, PS4, movies, hikes, reading and checking out new bars or brunch spots. I am neat and tidy; I do travel a fair bit for work so I wouldn’t be around heaps, mainly on weekends. I work in Barton and play football at Eastlake so having everything in walking distance is ideal for me. I like to socialise but also comfortable in my own company. I can bring as much or as little furniture as need be, totally flexible. I have everything for a bedroom with a double bed, but the main assets I could add are a 55inch smart TV, dining table, and couch with also some shelving, towels and assorted kitchen ware. Let me know if the above sounds good and I look forward to hearing from you.
I’m easy to live with. Great for a laugh and considerate of other people’s needs and feelings. I work 6 days a week and interstate nearly every weekend, self employed for 6 years organising events and juggling calendars. I won’t touch, use or eat your stuff and I would like the same in return, I’m proactive with the house needs like cleaning, gardening I enjoy and also supplies such as toilet paper and dishwashing liquid etc. I don’t watch much tv, I won’t get in your way, I also professionally house sit so I’m not always around but keen to have that stable base to keep my belongings at, I’d be wanting someone willing to take the weekly rent but fair with not charging me for utilities if I hadn’t been there for a few weeks. I’m an animal lover but currently have no pets Great with kids but none of my own just yet Wanting someone easy to get along with, good sense of humour, respectful of space and privacy, and clean and considerate too. :)
Hello future flatmates! I'm a graduate lawyer working full time in the APS, looking for a new place to call home! You’ll find me to be an upbeat, uncomplicated, tidy and considerate housemate. I really love to cook and I enjoy a good chat (with or without a glass of red wine). When I’m not baking or cooking up a storm for friends and loved ones (housemates included!), I’m either volunteering, reading books, watching foreign films, learning new languages, trying out new restaurants, at the gym, going out for walks (and purposely getting lost to find cool stuff!) or travelling. While I’m just as happy to be alone doing any of the aforementioned things, I’m always happy to have company too. Looking forward to hearing from you and creating Canberra's most fabulous sharehouse!
Full time worker in the fitness industry and pre-service Science and Maths teacher. I usually keep relatively busy and don't tend to spend much time at home. My job takes me away interstate or overseas every second week. Love to socialise, but would never shy away from a meal or occasional glass of wine at home.
Hi, I'm Andrea, I'm 26 years and study a master program. During August, September and October I'm taking an internship in Australia. That's why I'm looking for a place to live with other people. I'm very sociable and open-minded, I like stay in touch with nature, hiking, camping or just staying at home for reading or having a dinner with some friends. If this brief portrait have interested you, please contact me :)
A new Canberra transplant. I've moved down from Sydney recently for a new FT job and a tree change. I'm super chilled, get along well with almost everyone. I intend to spend plenty of time outdoors - even in winter. Happy to share a drink, a meal and a tale but respect the importance of privacy.
Full time sheep farmer, easy going, clean and enjoy getting out on weekends (music, snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing) Looking to start a lease or a room in a share house. Feel free to message me!

25 yo stuck with a 40 yo passport! I dance way too much, love live music, movies and food. Green thumb, relatively good cook, and cat lady (with no cats currently sadly) 😻 On the more serious side...PhD educated woman. Italian background, Aussie for a long time now. Relaxed, very friendly, trustworthy, I have a lot of interests - tango, heritage, conservation, live music, theatre, musicals, food, languages - and happy to share them with flatmates or keep them private if it is a better arrangement. I seek a nice friendly place to call home. Any questions just ask :)
Hello Canberra people, my name is Leisa and I am a 28 year old public servant looking for a new room to call home. I am hoping for a small place with one or two housemates that like to socialise over a bottle of wine but can also appreciate personal space. When at home I love to binge watch tv shows, cook something averagely tasty for dinner, play some games and relax on the couch with a book or some music. Outside of the house I enjoy the gym, going on hikes, snowboarding and brunching. I am hoping for somewhere pretty convenient such as Barton and Kingston or Lyneham and Dickson or Coombs and Kingston or Belconnen. As you can see I'm not too picky but want to be less than 15-20 minutes to the city during peak hour. Also hoping for my own bathroom but happy to share with one other if not possible. Long term only please! 😁😁 Let me know if I sound like I could fit in to your place!
I am very tidy, clean, easy going, quiet and normally keep to myself but enjoy the occasional meals together or drinks. I am happy to share in the household chores and to maintain the cleanliness of the place. Responsible and reliable with rent. I am respectful of my flatmate’s possessions and space. Looking for a room in an existing share house or a team up with some friendly roommates. Closer to the city is preferred.
I am a full time working professional at the National Arboretum Canberra as the curator of the national bonsai collection. Yes, I am a full time bonsai artist ! I have studied biomedical science and education but I am now doing what I love and getting paid for it is an added bonus I moved to Canberra about 1.5years ago living in belconnen. I would like to live in a more central/ social area, as I love to be outdoors. I am very respectful of other people’s space but also enjoy having a chat and cooking dinner for everyone (added bonus 🍷🍝)
I'm currently studying IR at ANU and am looking into moving off-campus into a two bedroom flat at the start of next year. I work at McDonald's Manuka (not glamorous, but it pays rent) and between that and studying I love to just chill out and read or watch Netflix. I'm fairly quiet and not the most social person, so the chances of me ever having more than one person over at a time is slim to none, but I love a good yarn and watching TV or playing board games (though I'm not very good). I'm very tidy and will always keep up my end of the cleaning deal. My budget is $200 a week (but less would be even better). Feel free to shoot me a message or text if you'd like to get to know me more before making the plunge! I'd prefer living with a friend anyway so we should get to know each other! :)
Government veterinary moving down to Canberra for a temporary transfer for 6 months with working for the RSPCA starting in June. Easy going, tidy and social. Love a cheeky wine but mainly just love chilling at home or getting out for a hike. I have an adorable long haired cat named Casper that I'm hoping to bring with me, he is very lazy but loves attention.
