Please chuck us a message via flatmates as I am still overseas :) I'm 22 and moving back to Australia to start a new job in the public service after working abroad in Fiji for the past year. I am a foodie and wine lover. On the weekends I'm looking forward to exploring Canberra's best cafes, bars, book stores and farmers markets. I love to travel, ski and take photos. I also love the outdoors and am keen to explore nearby hiking routes, and road trip out to Canberra's closest beaches. I am easy going, organised, tidy and respectful of space and privacy. I generally like to follow a quiet routine during the week but am always happy to catch up over dinner, wine, a cuppa or a board game. Happy to enjoy the occasional social gathering as well. I'm looking for a friendly and easy going share house that will provide easy access to Barton and the city centre. Ideally I would like a place that is female or mixed and has a backyard. I will be bringing with me: my car, furniture for my room and stacks of cookbooks. I'm am hoping to move in after new years, ideally by late January but am flexible.
Very busy professional looking for a quiet, clean, tidy and well organised household. I do travel a lot and get along well with a majority of human population :) Looking for a place that doesn't mind some social gatherings, while also respecting my personal space due to the demanding nature of my work. Although chats over fine wine and cheese platter are always welcome :) I am a house owner in another state and relocating to Canberra for work. I shared houses and rented the properties in the past, so I know the drill :p I would prefer the place to be close to Govt circle or public transport, but this is not a deal breaker. I will likely head down to Melbourne every three to four weekends.
Hi everyone ! I'm a 25 year old french gal Moving to Canberra in early october for work. I'm excited to discover the city. I'm used to living in flatshares so I'm (very) tidy, good at communicating and respecting people's space and I'm confident I can get along pretty well with anyone. In my spare time I love to go hiking, kayaking or exploring the city and testing out new restaurants. I also love to rest at home on the week ends and cook meals. I'm looking for a room in a non-smoking house or flat, preferably with other people working full time but I'm open to students as well ! Also if there’s NO carpeting around the house that would be a HUGE plus and I would sign a lease on the spot ! Feel free to message me if you want to know more about me. see ya !
I'm 24 and relocating from Sydney to Canberra to start an APS grad job in the new year. I am an avid reader and wine lover and I enjoy travel, exercise and floristry. On the weekends I love getting out and exploring. I'm itching to uncover Canberra's best bars, bookshops, brunch spots and running routes. I am highly organised, tidy and respectful of space and privacy. I like to follow a low-key routine during the working week, but am always down for a catch up over wine, dinner or a cuppa. I'm looking for a friendly and easy going (ideally female or mixed) shared house that will provide equally easy access to Belconnen as well as the city centre. I bring with me: furniture for my room, my car and plenty of book recommendations. I'm keen to lock down a room in December!
Hello! I am a youth worker but usually work a few different jobs to keep me entertained. (at a bit of a career cross road atm actually) I am pretty arty I have a background in photography and I'm starting to learn how to paint. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! And matching furniture and nice decor matter so much more than it did in my 20s haha. I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans but not essential. Bit of a hippy but the kind that showers. Meaning I am environmentally conscious but not perfect ( I drive a car) Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Don't smoke and rarely drink these days but don't care if you do (as long as smoking isn't inside) I've said a 9 month stay but it would most likely be longer, I usually get out of Canberra for some of winter and travel but if I was happy in the place I was living then I wouldn't move out while I traveled. Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
Hey I'm Angus, I'm a 25yo medical student mostly based at Canberra Hospital next year. I'm looking to move into an existing sharehouse or also open to joining people on a new lease. I've lived in sharehouses before and like to chill over a few drinks or occasionally have dinner together but also respect others housemates' space and privacy. I'm flexible on move-in dates, furniture, etc and looking primarily around the inner south or near Canberra Hospital.
Hi! My name is Jamie and I’m hoping to find a house that feels like home and live with people that I can hopefully create strong friendships with, I work full time hours in hospitality and I was born here in Canberra. For fun most of the time I do enjoy relaxing in and watching movies but do occasionally love the off chance of having a few drinks with some friends. I was raised to carry my own weight and earn what I want so I would really love to be matched to people with the same mentality. I respect brutal honesty and helpful criticism as I’m an upfront person so I would value person/people that are willing to face any issues head on maturely so conflict isn’t an issue. I’m also a person that respects my own space as much as anyone else’s. I also have a beautiful cat that’s friendly and house trained :)

I'm a Canberra born and bred public servant, love to go out and try new bars/restaurants but also enjoy relaxing at home and catching up on my Netflix shows. Happy to share my account with prospective housemates!
