Moving from Sydney to Canberra to start a graduate program in January 2018. Looking for people to share accommodation with, preferably near to Kingston. I am a very easy-going and organised person. I love to have a laugh. I enjoy sport/gym, cafes, and a bit of nextflix. I am neat and tidy, and respectful of others peoples' space. I also enjoy a bit of banter and company. I will be new to Canberra, so it would be nice to find a housemate who has similar interests to me.
Fun, easy going guy who likes to cook, bqq, craft beer and red wine. I enjoy games, gaming, cycling and swimming.. ok.. not so much swimming, but being close to a pool would be great! I've travelling to Australia from Scotland to geek out working at Microsoft so looking for some short term accommodation while working in Canberra.
I moved from Perth to Canberra late last year, so my lease is up in early November (willing to double up on rent for a couple of weeks to secure the right place). I am a 22 year old accountant - not with the APS - how different! My interests include cooking and trying to get to Fitness First classes on time and generally spending time in the outdoors. I am friendly and approachable around the house but am also able to provide my housemates with space (we all need it!) at times. I like hanging out with my friends on weekends but usually don't take the party home. As for the house, I'd like my own bathroom (doesn't have to be an ensuite!) and undercover car spot, happy to talk about furniture because I have none at the moment. I'm generally clean and tidy and don't like much clutter around the house - having lived in a couple of share houses I understand the importance of being considerate in communal areas such as cleaning up in a timely manner. Ideally I'd only be sharing with one other person, no couples or pets sorry - just personal preference and allergies. Please let me know if you think I'd be a fit for your house!
Young professional living, studying and working full time in Canberra looking for a place to stay for 6+ months. Likes: brunch, Netflix, sleeping in, wine, bad horror movies, wine, burritos (team guzman and Gomez), pad thai. Dislikes: Magpies.
I just moved to Canberra so when I chose those 4 suburbs its because flatshare recommended it and those were the only places on google maps that I saw before I moved here :D. I'm actually down for wherever as long as its not too far a bus ride to the city. im pretty outgoing, but I respect privacy and do like my own sometimes although I don't know many people here yet. I'm Japanese so any connections there are great (my accent is American tho excuse my uncultured self) and I'm going to anu from February so I'm just looking for a place for 4 months. I love sports, especially baseball and badminton. Uhm. I'm clean although sometimes messy, but that never leaves the boundaries of my room. I love music and I guess I'm just your regular teen. I'm pretty chill to hang out with, but I am pretty straightforward and sarcastic a lot of the time so if you can't handle a salty burn with commentary I may not be a safe bet aha.
I'm super clean, quiet, friendly and considerate of others. I'm moving down from sunny Brisbane in Queensland to set up life in Canberra. I will be working 2 part-time jobs and studying nutrition and sports science at the University of Canberra. My favourite things in accommodation is air and light and in my flatmates I REALLY appreciate cleanliness and kindness. I'm pretty outdoorsy and live and eat relatively healthy.
Easy going, respect others, clean and tidy. Study and work full time. Cooking, chats, socializing, languages, other cultures, quite time (me time your time) Flexible on rent and areas. Ideally looking to team up with another one person, I have furniture and can be used in the house. Flick me a message if you have any questions
I love making a place my home. Having lived in every state of Australia except SA, as a homeowner, renter or housesitter, I'm pretty good at taking care of a place. I have also been an Airbnb/Stayz host on K'gari, QLD. Since 2011 I've done a lot of housesitting, including overseas, and have many testimonials to reassure you that your place will be in good hands. I'm currently working full time in Canberra.
Hi! My name is Flavia. I'm open-minded, multicultural, love to cook, eat great cheese, drink a glass or two & chat with flatmates, bush-walk, watch documentaries, World Cup Soccer & independent cinema. PS - I'm a carnivore but some of my best friends are vegetarians/vegans...I'm responsible, tidy & sociable & looking for like-minded, interesting people to share with. I grew up in Sydney and have travelled extensively throughout Australia & overseas for my work in TV media production. Working outside Australia as a Video Journalist ( a one-woman roadshow as researcher, journalist & camerawoman), my specialities were making videos for humanitarian agencies. Now I'm moving to Canberra to take up a full-time job in a humanitarian agency in early Oct. I have a daughter but she'll be based in Sydney, with her Dad, for these months that I'll be sharing house. I'm looking, in the short-term, for share accommodation from Sep-Dec17.

Hey there! I'm a soon-to-be young professional, currently studying Law at the ANU and living in student accomodation. I'm looking to move out early next year (preferably late January or early February), hopefully somewhere central, as I'll be starting full-time work. I'm easy-going, clean, big on communication and independent. I enjoy time to myself and socialising in equal measure, although I'm pretty time poor so, if you're lucky, you may never even see me. Hobbies include staying fit (gym, anyone?), literature and coffee (yes - that's a hobby). I'm looking for a young professional or later-year student to find a place with, or to take over someone's contract in a single apartment, etc, or existing share-house if the flatmates are great. Please be clean and respectful of personal space! I'd love to chat and get to know each other a bit first before committing to the move so get in touch if you're interested. Places and price all flexible. Will most likely have a car so will need somewhere to park.
Hey I'm Zoe, I love the outdoors, cooking, socialising and of course down time. I'm pretty laid back and willing to have a laugh. Nonetheless i am tidy, organised and responsible. I'm currently in my 3rd (of 4) year of a Arst-Science(Psyc) degree at the ANU and i work casually on the side.
Hi, I'm Jess :) I will be moving from Brisbane to Canberra at the start of 2018 to work as an APS Graduate (so my move date is flexible- anytime around the new year). I will most likely be working at the airport offices and I don't drive so I would like too live somewhere close to public transport. I am currently finishing my Civil Engineering degree and I have two kitties, Bean and Sprout, who love each other more than they love me. I am happy to share with a couple, as long as the two of you are already living together harmoniously. Mainly looking for a "teamup" where we can all decide on a place to live :)
I'm a very responsible, clean and easy going person. I respect others and like seeing the movies and hanging out with my friends when I am free.I am about to study in JP International College in the early of October, and would like to live in the area around Woden Westfield or city.
I will be moving down to Canberra from Sydney to work in the public service in January 2018. I have an easy-going, bubbly personality. Although I will be busy working full-time I also enjoy playing sport when I can, going out to cafes and a bit of Netflix in my spare time. I am a very organised, tidy person looking for preferably a female house mate / house mates. I enjoy my own space but am also very social and love a good chat. I am looking to move in around January of next year. Closer to the CBD would be better, but it doesn't bother me too much.
Hello my name is Marie and I'm a Early Childhood Educator working in Brindabella business park I've just moved from the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. For 9 years I lived in the Inner West - Balmain up until two years ago. Originally from the UK and in my late 30's I would love to live as close to the city as possible as I don't drive just yet and public travel to work is limited. However I have been in staying in Pearce and I can manage that. I'm social and can have conversations about almost anything but also love my own space at times. I'm looking for a house that will have a balance of quite and fun. I'm new to Canberra so looking for new routines and things to do. I will be out of the house from 6:30 to round 8:30-9 pm most days during the week. I work with children so am very friendly, I am not a party person anymore but happy for dinners at home wary now an then. I'm not looking for people to get into my business but would like to know who I'm living with so I we can try to be as comfortable as possible. If I sound like someone you want to get to know more please contact me and we can try to arrange a time to meet and view the room/house. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Regards Marie
Hi there! I'm an active young woman who works for Cisco out at Brindabella Park. I grew up here, so plenty of local knowledge. I don't have pets just YET, but I'm planning on rescuing a doggo or two, because I love dogs and also they're the key to happiness. This means that, if possible, I'd love a place with a yard. It doesn't have to be massive, as I'm in the habit of walking any dogs I have twice a day, every day. I regularly go to the gym - Eighty8 near my work, Anytime Fitness, and BlocHaus climbing gym - so I'm out of the house until quite late on weekdays. On weekends, I like relaxing around the house, moaning about being tired, then finally dragging myself off my butt to buy expensive brunch like the usual entitled millennial (but I hate avocado - ask me why I haven't bought a house yet!) and hang out with my mates. I am not at all a morning person; in fact I hate them. And I'm also not really a party person unless someone else does all the work and drags me out the door. I'm really not suited to a student household or a house with more than two other people - I've done my time in massive sharehouses, and I'm not about that life anymore. I do like cooking, but I'm pretty boring, because I usually bulk cook everything once a week and then eat frozen leftovers. Sometimes I feel inspired and make cakes/biscuits/assorted baked goods which I expect to share, because please take all those sweet things away from me. I definitely have too many clothes, so expect to triple your wardrobe if you're a size 8/shoe size 7, because I share. If you're a bloke, you can share too, but don't stretch out anything expensive! I enjoy video games, and I have a nice PC and an Xbox 360 (yes, I refuse to update, that workhorse is still going strong). I also read a lot! In summary: - One or two other people to share; - Small yard for a doggy; - Not a party animal; - Tragically single, so no bf/gf to awkwardly meet, but occasional sobbing; - Sometimes sing in the shower, but am actually decent; - Unfortunately shed long blonde hair everywhere; - Don't smoke, do drink infrequently; - Relaxed, full time employed, also I smell nice.
