I think it is time to move out... Currently working full-time and studying part time at UC. Easy going, chill and pretty adventurous person, will almost get along with anyone. Like to keep living space clean and tidy :) Preferably would like to find a place near the city/north side.
I am 34 Year old Corporate Banker relocating to Canberra for work. I am looking for a room in a neat and tidy house with friendly mates. I am a friendly person to live with who maintains his own space and willing to lend a helping hand when needed.
Hi, I'm a friendly & laid-back person freshly employed by the Australian public service. I'm keen to explore all Canberra's got to offer, so depending on whether you like to come along on my little adventures, you may see me lots or not very often! I'm usually down for a chat, meal or tipple with you but I'm also happy to have alone time & give you yours.
Please Note: Move in date from mid-end May 2018. About Me: I'm a professional male who has shared for over 10 years (Gold Coast, (uni days), Canberra and Melbourne). I'm looking for a sociable house, but also like my own space/quiet time when needed, as I'm also studying my Masters PT. I'm returning to Canberra for work and am looking to get out and network.
Hey there. A bit about myself: My name is Mel, 25 years young and I've been in Canberra for the last seven years. Of those seven, I've lived in shared accommodation for five, and have yet to fail paying my rent on time. During the week, I work full-time in a consulting firms. In my spare time, I'm pretty fond of hiking, Netflix, cooking and checking out events at galleries. I consider myself to be a fairly career focused, courteous, neat and friendly person. While I don't have the expectation to become best mates, I also don't want to be living with a complete stranger. I'd love to have a chat over coffee and see if we are well-suited housemates. If things pan out, I'm looking to make things happen quickly. I have a few listings in mind already. Let me know if you're keen. Thanks!
I’m Jorja. 28, and surprise, surprise, a public servant here in Canberra. I’m pretty active, enjoy playing netball, and looking forward to snowboarding soon for winter. Big fan of wine too, and just hanging out watching TV or playing board games. Also, I’ve got a friendly (and gorgeous) 7 year old cat who has lived in with people in my share houses before, and is good with dogs.
Hey I'm Chris, another public servant looking for a new home. My current rental is getting sold, so I'm looking to move into or setup a share-house in the next month or so. I'm ideally looking for something relaxed, up for the occasional wine but also respectful of space. Prior to my current place I share-housed for a couple years. In my spare time I enjoy going for cycles, hikes, camping, the occasional canyon. Like many Canberrans I also go on fairly frequent road trips, and I'm looking forward to ski season. I own a decent amount of furniture so I could deck out a 2 bed, leaving only the bedroom for a potential house-mate to furnish. Although I'm also certainly open to selling some of my things.
hi im jessie, dog person (i dont know why but cats beat me sometimes) just moved to canberra a week ago after post graduated. i had lived in the same shared house for years and keep a nice relationship with (almost) everyone there. im clean and tidy, not cook much, vacuum my room every week and sometimes the public area (depending on the length of the wire). btw I’m in my late 20s, become less mouthy these years. it took me days to finish this description. my budget goes 280 in city or 250 for kingston around.
Hello. My name is Daniel, I'm 22, and I am looking for a place to live. I'm current in my last semester of studying part time at UC and I also work full time in retail (the dream). I like musical theatre, reading, gaming, weekends away, napping, and binge watching tv watching shows in my downtime. I work most weekends, but I am always happy to have a chat over a drink/dinner or whatever every now and then when I am home. I would say I am a relaxed but reliable, and tidy person who is respectful of other people and their personal space. I’m looking for somewhere close to the City/Belconnen/Gungahlin areas, but I would be chill with anywhere close to a bus stop with access to the City. If you want to know more just ask! I can provide rental references for the last few years. I’m also open to team ups. :)
I am a cleanliness loving and friendly person to live with. I prefer Indian only GIRLS flatmates. A little more about myself, I am a Web Graphic designer who is going to migrate to Canberra on permanent residency basis in probably coming August 2018. I am very fond of doing creative stuff whether it is a Website designing, Graphics work, dress designing, interior decoration, fine arts, temporary tattoo making, oil painting, watercolor painting, fabric painting, mythological art, ethnic art, etc. I am crazy for every sort of creativity :).
Sydneysider turned Canberran. I'm a young professional who works at Parliament House and in Barton. I love making the most of the outdoors, and incredible food scene. I travel a lot and enjoy coming home to a glass of wine and netflix.
I'm a super clean, pretty quiet Aussie girl who's friendly, kind and considerate. I moved last year from Queensland for the cooler life and I'm loving Canberra. I work full-time that includes 2 weekends a month so I'm generally pretty busy and independent. I'm also planning to return to uni part-time next year in the health sciences. I like to live a healthy lifestyle and am outdoorsy. I love cycling, hiking, water sports and snowboarding. I enjoy both sharing dinner in front of a movie or Netflix and time to myself to wind down or study so I generally go with the flow with what others feel like doing at the time. I'm certainly no big party animal and don't smoke. I have a flexible move in date and can adjust stay length for the right place and flatmate/s. I can also supply excellent references from past flatmates and landlords that show I've always paid rent and bills ahead of time and am one of the best flatmates around! :-)
I'm a full time arts communications specialist who loves all the good stuff. Plants! Cooking! Books! Delicious wine! Too much Netflix! I'm friendly, reliable, happy to chat or chill, and have a long track record of being a great housemate. I'm looking for a long term living situation in a house that feels like home.
Hey housemate goers! Looking for a flatmate/ room for rent central to Canberra's CBD. I work full time, travel often and study part-time. I'm away a lot and keep busy... although, I'm always up for a wine, chat, adventures - whatever's going! I have lived overseas in share houses, etc. Now back in Canberra for the next 12 months before jet setting off somewhere new. Really clean and love cooking! Non-smoker.. although, I do head to the gym early early of a week day - But can tip-toe pretty well!
Night shift nurse in emergency department at Canberra Hospital looking for a place inner south or north side. I'm pretty clean and tidy but not pendantic. I like to hang out with my housemates but enjoy alone time too. I train in Muay Thai most evenings and I love reading, Netflix, and playing guitar. I also sleep like a log so a bit of noise in the house while I'm on night shift doesn't bother me at all. Looking for some cool housemates, I love pets too so that is a big bonus for me. I also have a PS4 and a healthy competitiveness in COD to contribute xx
Hi, my name's Olivia. I'm 31 years old and I work full time as a lawyer in the APS. I am a friendly, tidy and considerate housemate. I work pretty hard and go to the gym most days. I also enjoy reading and am trying to write a book. I'm a considerate, tidy and friendly flatmate. I am fairly independent however it would be nice to share a house with someone who enjoys a good chat in the evenings and who I could share the occasional meal or drink with.
Hi, I'm Lauren. I've recently got an administrative full time job in the public service and looking to move in mid July. I'm neat, quiet and easy to get along with. I like the occasional glass of wine and watch some TV in the evenings. I will be interested in how your day went but will respect your privacy at the same time. I'm also quite interested in french language and culture so if you have any passion or knowledge of this too, that would be amazing!
Hi guys, I’m katie :) I'm 20 and from Korea I like reading books, listening music, exercising and cooking. I work at a hotel and I usually exercise and study English during my free time. I can keep the house clean and I like chat but I know it is important to have private time. I will spend at least 6 months in Canberra and get a house to stay in the meantime. Thank u :)
I'm a friendly, neat, and quiet person! I'm a postgrad student so I'm very much occupied with research and my teaching - I work 9 to 5 hours mostly (sometimes a little more, to be frank). I'm also pretty quiet when need be, and I like to keep my areas clean. I don't smoke, or have pets. I'm also vegetarian (but don't mind if you aren't, of course!) Drop me a message if you're interested to know more!
Hey! I’m a college student who works most nights and weekends in a restaurant in Kingston. I spend most of my free time studying or hanging out with friends. I’m generally a pretty quiet, tidy person but do enjoy a nice chat from time to time. I enjoy drawing, listening to music, reading, watching Netflix, cleaning and occasionally cooking! Looking for a long term place ideally.
Hey! I'm a uni student also working full time in the APS (no surprises, it is Canberra). I'm looking to move into a shared place with housemates that are up for a casual chat, wine and or episode of trashy TV/Netflix on the occasion. I'm friendly, respectful and clean (but not a clean freak). I enjoy cooking and I love a bit of sport (hockey, yoga, AFL). Flexible with move date too!
