I am 23 years old working full-time in Deakin. I play many different sports which keeps me out at training at least 2 nights a week and one day on a weekend. I also enjoy spending my time catching up with friends and out and about. I am extremely easy going, quiet, and clean. I keep mostly to myself, but am also usually up for a chat about any topic you can think of.
I'm moving back to Canberra for work after 9 months in Sydney. I'll be working in Deakin Mon-Fri. I can cook, I can clean and I like wine. I enjoy living in a busy house - I'm quite social. On weekends I'll be out and about or travelling to visit friends. Essential - walking distance to decent coffee :) Would prefer close to the city, don't mind North or South. I love animals so a pet would be amazing!
Easy going, fun, love a good pub feed, and keep clean. I started working full-time at a consultancy at the beginning of this year, also finishing up my masters in computer science at the ANU. I usually work long hours, run heaps, box, keep active, and hang out with friends. I've lived out of home for a while now, like to keep the place neat, and chill with my housemates.
Professional full time worker, conscientious, generous bloke who likes a joke. Generally quiet, like to watch the news and Docos and likes to read. Often working on the computer. Love to cook and enjoy good food and an occasional wine. Like to work in the garden and doing odd jobs. And like to go for a walk in the mornings. Have some furniture so need rooms...unfurnished. Generally leave for interstate during the school holidays.
I'm a 25 year old APS worker currently living a bit too far out from my work in south canberra. I love to cook and a good cup of tea, but most of all I love a book or a film on the a Sunday. You're all probably looking for someone who is: 1) independent; 2) clean; 3) can cook; 4) can chat; and 5) isn't weird. I lived in Belgium for the past two years so that should answer the top four, the fifth you can decide in person. If you like boardgames, some (admittedly) unhealthy deserts and a good chat, then get in contact with me and we could team up/discuss moving in. Cheers, Alex
I'm Sam, 25 years old, work in logistics at IKEA and currently commuting from Goulburn for work. Looking to find a place to stay closer to work and Canberra. I'm friendly, tidy and respectful.
Moving from Perth to Canberra for work. I've been living in large share houses for the last 4 years and want to downsize that to a nice 2 person flat. I'm clean and tidy, love some good banter and a wine or two but also like to have my own space as needed. I'm a social person so will undoubtedly find lots of things to do from brunch to hiking.
I have recently returned to Canberra after living for the last eight years in New Caledonia and I am looking to re-establish myself back in Australia. I am a 46 years old dad of two and I have been the primary parent for most of their lives. My children are currently in New Caledonia with their mum until the end of the school year so I am own my own. I'm a friendly and easy going person who looks and feels a lot younger than my age suggests..most of the time :) I am a photographer and like sport, especially soccer and AFL but nearly any sport will do. I am looking to get back to the gym once I am settled. I am working full-time, Monday to Friday, for a government department in Civic.
I'm a full-time professional who moved from Queensland at the beginning of last year for work. Giving up sunny beaches was tough but I really enjoy my work (economics/consulting), and the seasons are nice in ACT. I am very tidy, easy to get along with, and respectful of other peoples space. Some weeks I work fairly long hours, but like to relax and socialise on the weekend. I also like to go out to latin dance classes and play social basketball some evenings. Keen to meet some future housemate(s) soon and have a chat!
Young professional who is moving from Perth to Canberra for full time work. I like to keep active and maintain a social lifestyle. I'm a very easy going and laidback persons. Enjoy quiet weeknights, but like to be social on weekends. Generally need and tidy. Looking for a house of friends who like to do house activities on occasion but also respect when people need their own space
I'm a quiet 20 year old who works at the airport, and am looking for a place to stay until I can fulfil my dream of joining the air force, which could take anywhere between 6 months and 2 years. I'm a cyclist and runner in my spare time. I own a car, which I do not use much and am willing to lend out, but will need a place to store it. Apart from that, I'm just looking for somewhere to sleep and store my meagre amount of stuff, as well as cook.
I'm looking to join or create a mixed sharehouse with a great vibe - ideally one where everyone is keen on the occasional house 'family' dinner and the odd weekend adventure (be it camping down the coast… or brunch). I work as a public servant, play hockey and touch footy, love reading and dancing to old school RnB and enjoy just hanging out. I also come with a foosball table and a tiny bit of competitiveness.
Hey there! I am Can Metan. I'll start my PhD in Computer Science soon and I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a very clean and trust-worthy guy. I quite enjoy cooking healthy meals and I'm quite sociable in general. While we can share a glass of wine every now and then, I don't drink every week and I certainly don't smoke. I will be working a lot this year (likely to get a job besides PhD) and I would love to have a roomie that can pull his / her own weight. Looking forward to hear from you!
Hi! I'm a considerate, tidy house sort of person. Never late with bills and am a real grown up. I work in Corpsych as a Regional Assistant and love my job, so I'm out of the house early mornings and back evenings Mon to Fri. Weekends I like to chill and hang at home, friends and family. I am not looking to move until August, and am looking to get to know someone before moving in.
Hi :) I'm Tayliah and I have recently moved to Canberra from Orange. I enjoy brunch, bushwalking, keeping active, meeting up with friends and anything that Canberra has to offer. I currently work full-time and plan to study in the future. I am very versatile and adaptable after living in a small communal space whilst travelling overseas last year. I am clean, tidy and love to cook. I am a relaxed, easy going social person and would love to find someone likeminded.
Hi. I have just recently moved from Melbourne to Canberra for work (I'm a teacher - don't let that put you off!) and study (I'm doing my Master's in Asian and Pacific Studies at ANU). I'm an easy going person with a bright and bubbly personality. I've left all my furniture behind in Melbourne so I'm hoping to move into a fully furnished apartment/house - but happy to buy my own bedroom furniture if needed. I grew up in a large family (9 kids) so I know how to share.
I'm 32 from the UK and have just recently moved to Canberra. I'm looking for something long term and a housemate who's fun and likes to have a laugh. I'm easy going, enjoy cooking and like to have the odd glass of wine. l'm tidy, respectful and also enjoy the occasional hike.
Hi I'm Holly, I'm 27 and live in Canberra working for the public service. I enjoy traveling, the outdoors and keeping an active lifestyle. I'm easy to get along with and enjoy a bit of banter, but I'm also very happy to chill and respect the space of others. I think the vibes of a house are really important so I think I would be a great addition to a happy household! I'm not a night owl and not a particularly loud person, so you won't have to worry about noise. I am a clean housemate and prefer tidy surroundings.
I'm Monique, I'm a 28 year old working in the public service. I enjoy cooking and baking especially when I'm preparing a dish to share with good company and a glass of wine. I'm always up for a chat but also happy entertaining myself. I have a great group of friends that will keep me out and about. I'm used to a tidy and clean share house. My current roommate is getting married and his fiancé is moving in so I'm looking for a new home. I'm flexible with my moving date as I can leave my current share house earlier. I'm looking to stay between 6 months to a year.
