Hello! We are a young couple from Indonesia doing masters at the ANU. We are friendly and easy-going people, hardworking and a bit of obsessed with cleanliness xd so we are always excited whenever we have to do house-cleaning activities (it does help to release stress from uni workload though!). I love cooking and enjoy watching films and reading books, and both of us are great fans of cats :D Always be happy to have nice conversations with everyone about anything. Cheers!
Hey guys, I’m looking to move in to a place in the inner north at the start of Feb 2019. I’m a psychology student at ANU and I’m pretty easy going. I’d love to live with some respectful and friendly people, I’m not concerned about gender, and I would ideally have at least two housemates (the more the merrier!). I’m clean and tidy and would prefer my housemates to be the same in shared spaces. I'm a fan of regular "house meetings" aka drinks (be it tea or beer) and hanging out. I love animals and will go crazy for pets! I also enjoy cooking together every now and again. If you think we’d get on, let’s chat!
Hi, I am a full-time master's student and having two jobs at ANU. I am originally from Japan. I've been living in Canberra for two years. I have a quite busy schedule but I am always up for some relaxing and quiet time at home. I am tidy and very clean. Regards, Marina
Hello! I am a science PhD graduate from Adelaide looking for somewhere to live in Canberra while I study at ANU next year. I am super friendly but fairly quiet, tidy, and I love cups of tea and glasses of wine with equal measure. I am vegetarian, but don't mind if you are not, and I love cooking, walking and learning (failing) to roller skate... I have a partner who may or may not come to Canberra with me depending on where (if!) he get's a job, so I am looking to live in a place/with people who are open to either possibility. Let me know if that might be you!
Originally from Adelaide and moving to Canberra after living in Sydney for 4 years. I'm an engineer working full-time and studying part-time who loves sport, music and having a beer. Looking for a friendly, down-to-earth housemate(s) to live with ideally looking for a long term stay.
We are are two social and tidy second year students at ANU working part time while studying International Security and Policy Studies/ Arts. Living with us comes with a large outdoor trampoline (if you're into that! if not it can stay in our friend's backyard). We're fun and outgoing, you're welcome to join us on adventures but also respect personal space, introverts still welcome! Note- we can move in from the start of December but moving in later is our preference
I will be entering my second year of uni at ANU in 2019 studying a Bachelor of Science (Advanced). I moved from Cairns at the start of the year and have quite a busy schedule with my course, working as a tutor, and holding executive positions on groups within ANU. I am super friendly and love to cook and read!
Hi there! I'm Maddie and I'm studying Marketing and Advertising at UC (maybe at ANU next year) I am looking for a place or to team up to find a place, to live for at least a year. I'm a non-smoker, chilled, tidy and respectful of other people's things/space. I'm currently employed as a tennis coach so am away almost all day with uni in the morning and coaching afternoon/night. I love to chat and relax with friends but also would like my own time for things like studying and respect housemates privacy wishes. My interests include sports, gaming, sewing, movie nights and of course anything with good company (and cheese platters!) I'm not a party animal by any stretch but do enjoy the company of friends. I am also a avid baker and make a mean lemon meringue pie if i do say so myself. I have no problems with pets of any kind and in fact would love it. Please don't hesitate to get in touch and exchange numbers to chat further. Hope to hear from you! Cheers :)
Hello future housemates! My name is Javs and I'm a full-time young professional working in the defence industry. I'm a healthy eater, and I like to keep myself active and social. I'm honest, responsible, and clean. I respect privacy, but it's also cool to kick it if we vibe. If we don't, that's cool too 🙂. I value open, honest communication and if there are any issues or problems I'd like to get those out in the open and sorted out. If you think we might be good housemates feel free to give me a call. looking forward to meeting you!
Hi, I'm Louis. I'm originally from Melbourne, and currently in my fourth year of an Arts/Languages double degree. I am on a full scholarship, and am tidy, respectful and very studious.
Hey there! I'm moving to Canberra from Adelaide in Feb 2019 to start as an APS Graduate (I know that's still a while away but I thought I might try and get a jump on the crowds..) I've lived in share houses for the last few years and have loved it - I'm friendly, very relaxed and more than happy to pull my weight with cleaning and cooking etc etc. I'm looking for a house of people who are easy going and who are keen to hang out and share a meal and a few drinks every now and again. That said, I also know how crazy work and study can be and we all need time alone to recharge. A little more about myself... I love hiking, camping and getting outdoors, I try to ride my bike wherever I can, and I try to live sustainably. I enjoy cooking and baking and Netflix binging in my free time. I've accumulated quite a bit of furniture and some appliances - couches/coffee table/fridge/washing machine and so on - which I'm more than happy to supply if you need it. Otherwise an empty bedroom to call my own is all I need. If you think we'd get along and you might have a free room around the start of 2019 please let me know! Cheers :)
I needed a delicious glass of Malbec to start this profile. If you don't know what Malbec is.....then listen closely. What you are hearing is the sound of Argentinian winemakers weeping uncontrollably. That was a touch dramatic... Anyway, about myself. I'm 34, full time professional and former public servant (now I work for a certain New Zealand based outdoor gear retailer). If I've learnt anything from living in 9 cities on 3 continents, it's that flexibility, a good sense of humour, and compassion go a long way. I enjoy a social drink and you're likely to find me in the kitchen with a glass of red and something delicious in the pan. And yes, I clean up after myself:) While I do love sincere conversation and genuinely like to connect with the people I'm living with, I'm also very respectful of others' space and privacy. If I've had a hard day I'll probably retreat to my room to watch Scandinavian crime dramas and possibly indulge in some connoisseur icecream. Having lived in a few share houses, it's about balance. I'm one of those rare people who straddles the introvert/extrovert divide (INFP/ENFP split), so I tend to get along well with both because I have both those aspects to my personality. Wow, this is starting to feel like an essay, so I won't keep you much longer. I'm just a fan of the written word, and I generally don't do things by half-measure. What am I looking for in the ideal room? Hopefully it's large enough to at least fit a double bed, desk, chair, and set of drawers. I would love to find a furnished room, but if it's unfurnished, it's nothing Ikea can't remedy (and watching me assemble Ikea furniture is amusing....like watching fur seals trying to go up a staircase. It's a trainwreck but you can't look away...) Anything else I should mention about myself? I enjoy healthy food, good books, good tv series, current affairs (I was an Asian Studies and Language major at uni), languages (a little Korean and French), exercise, and if it weren't for a somewhat recent MTB crash on Stromlo, I'd probably be mountain biking every other day. At the moment I'm just filling the void with some good hill-running. As for the kind of household I'd ideally try to find? A place with warm and friendly people basically. Watching movies together from time to time and sharing a drink and a laugh. Cooking in the kitchen while swapping stories about the insanity and the hilarity that is life. Sharing the load, everyone pitching in to clean occasionally in their spare time so no single housemate is left doing the majority of the cleaning. So, if you're looking for an easy going, responsible, down to earth, and kind housemate...please get in contact:) I'm ready to move from about December 3rd but I'm flexible. Getting in contact: I work full-time so the best way to get in touch is by email or text message. Look forward to hearing from you :) Cheers, Marty
I am a very laid back person but fun to live with. I am a clean individual and respectful of everyone's needs in the household. I play soccer in the winter and am sports crazy. I am an active individual and like the outdoors. I study a double degree of nursing and paramedicine with hopes of becoming a paramedic after my study.
I’m low maintenance, flexible, clean and easy to get along with. I will be a third year at uni, working part time and I’ve lived in student/shared accomodation before (self catered of course). Feel free to message me and I’m more than happy to team up!
Hi there! I'm moving down to Canberra for a 12 month government IT contract, starting November 12. When I lived in Canberra previously, I tended to spend a fair bit of my time mountain biking and motorcycling. These days however I'm more into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and keen to snowboard over winter.
Originally from Nepal and lived in Melbourne for 8 years before moving to Canberra for studies. I'm a fun and outgoing person who likes conversations mild to wild, maybe not too wild. I'm curious about life and the world so I read quite a bit and can talk about most things. However I do keep to myself mostly, like a decent clean place and am respectful of others. I do like to cook at times and enjoy a good red wine or a chilled beer and whoever I'm sharing the place with - will get to sample my infamous Himalayan dumplings or momos as they are lovingly called.
We’re 4 working professionals (2 couples), who have been close friends for 7+ years. 2 of us are undertaking study on-top of working full-time. We’re looking for a 12-month lease with the option to extend as we are looking for a long-term living arrangement.
I am a busy, full time professional. I am friendly, tidy in shared spaces and outgoing. I have a good rental history and pay everything on time. I enjoy hiking and Netflix. I am looking for an easy going person who would enjoy an occasional pizza or brunch.
Hey all! I’m currently in search of a new home with some groovy people. I would be looking for a room in an existing share, or for people to join up with in the search for a new place. I’m pretty easy-going as a housemate - I like to keep things tidy and pull my weight in terms of chores around the place. I like the idea of having a relatively social household, but also am very respectful of people’s space. When not at uni or work, you will probably find me cooking/baking something, playing netball, or tracking down some live music. In terms of what I’m looking for, other than some wonderful humans to live with, I do have a car and so would like some sort of parking. Other than that, everything is pretty flexible. My move-in date is also pretty flexible. Whilst my current lease is until the 21st of February, I would be open to some overlap in dates for the right place.
I am moving down from Brisbane to Canberra for a graduate role but have been living in a flat-share for the last 5 years. I am easy-going and would love a housemate/s that are up for hanging out, drinking some wine and watching movies. I am looking to move in anytime between 1st January 2019 - 1st February 2019 and would also prefer a longer-term lease (at least 6 months) but that is negotiable. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
Currently I am working part time 3-4 days per week. I have lived to share housing many times before and can clean up after myself and participate in the maintenance of the household. I would say that I'm quite amenable sort of person with good social skills.
Hey there all, I’m a part time/full time retail assistant manager (Jay Jays) at Woden and Belconnen so I’m looking for a place convenient for public transportation (I don’t drive). I’m 20 in January and have lived out of home for 2-3 years and had multiple apartment leases with real estate in both Melbourne and Townsville. I am a friendly and easy going chic who is great for a chat. I have some artsy habits, a bit spiritual and a love of all things cooking (yes I will cook for you 😂). I am clean and tidy (having grown up with military parents, lots of discipline and respect was taught) and I’m fairly quiet apart from some occasion music and I love my own space and privacy. As long as we all respect eachother we will get along wonderfully ☺️
