Hello, my name is Maria. I’m an international student starting the semester at ANU this coming January of 2020. I am easy going and friendly. I like to keep my space orderly and clean so you’ll never worry of a mess! One of my biggest hobbies I enjoy is practicing my passion for music or otherwise spending time with people I am closest to. Joining me is my boyfriend, Mason. Coming from NSW he will be doing any house inspections before i arrive. He is a kind friendly gent. He doesn’t bother anyone and in his spare time mostly likes to catch up on a good show or movie.
Heya, I've just finished studying population health at ANU and work as a nurse in the Woden Valley. I have a cat named Beck who is 11yo who spends most of her time napping, watching the world go by or purring loudly. I adult quite well, I pay my rent and I clean. I’m respectful and honest. I like nature and learning, music and peaceful sleep-ins. For fun I like to dance or ride my bike, rest in my hammock, have a drink with friends or binge watch Netflix. I'm a vegetarian and a feminist. I'm usually trying to be a better human than i was last month. I have to move because there is a big leak in my current place! I’m looking for somewhere big enough to fit a queen bed and desk. I'm interested in is a ground-floor apartment or a house.
Hey! I'm Krystal and I'll be moving to Canberra for full-time work. I'm a super easy-going, flexible and friendly person looking for a homey place to live. I love cooking, hiking, drinking copious amounts of tea, eating (laksa, dumplings!) and travelling (a lot). I'd love to join a friendly and social sharehouse who are all for boardgames/movie/dinner nights. I also have many ideas for a veggie patch/herb garden! Please note: I’m not looking to move until 1st Feb.
Hello! I am a full-time musician who teaches violin at schools in north Canberra and do gigs whenever I can. I've lived in a share house for the past 4 years and would love to move into a social house. My weekdays are pretty busy, but I usually spend the weekends out and about with friends. I'm always up for a drink or a boardgame with my housemates, but also respect their personal space. If I would be a good fit for your share house please let me know - would love to chat! Thanks, Elisha 😊
I'm continuing a chemistry PhD at ANU in 2020 and I am considering moving out of my current accommodation, with/without a flatmate. I ideally want to stay in a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment near Civic (Braddon, Turner etc.) with my own/ensuite bathroom. Furnishings optional. Air conditioning is a must, and a large kitchen would be nice. I'm lighthearted, sociable, cooperative and will pull my weight to maintain a household. My hobbies include listening to music, video games and chess. I ride my bike daily and cook on most evenings too. Let me know if you are also looking for affordable long-term stay near ANU. :)
I've recently quit my job to go back to uni full time and am doing two postgrad courses. I'm from Victoria but studying at ANU and will be driving back and forth a lot. I won't be in Canberra for at least 13 weeks of the uni year due to rural placements. I'm preferably looking for somewhere that is within 10mins bike ride of ANU or Questacon. I'll be needing a room from early Feb till approx. Nov but am super flexible. I'd prefer furnished if possible. I would be happy for you to AirBnB my room out while I am not around. Also flexible on price but would prefer to spend less than $200 pw (student life 😔) I love science and learning. I also like hiking and dogs. I also like cooking and bad puns. I love travel and have a few trips booked in next year (somehow have to squeeze them in amongst the study!) I don't mind the occasional social drink but not looking for a house full of party animals. I don't smoke and I am very clean. I like to think I'm easy to get along with, and don't mind watching a movie etc with housemates but I'm not expecting to be your best friend. I previously lived in a 4 bedroom house with 5 other people and a 3 bedroom house with 1 other person, and would prefer less housemates if possible. I will be spending a lot of time studying so will need internet access if possible. My boyfriend would be visiting on occasional weekends but wouldn't be staying long term. I've previously had success with flatmates.com.au so hoping to find somewhere again! Any questions, please ask away!
Hi, I'm an Italian PhD student working at ANU. I'm 24, going to move to Canberra in March from Rome and currently looking for an accomodation in town. The best flatmates for me should be tidy, as well as friendly and easygoing.
I am a 21 year old student from Sydney who is moving down to Canberra to begin a PhD at the Australian National University (ANU). I am not particularly fussy about the suburb I move to in ACT, so please feel free to reach out if you're within 20-ish minutes from ANU. I am someone who is very easy to live with as I am very independent, organised, tidy, relatively quiet, but also sociable and easy to get along with. I also do not smoke or drink alcohol. I will be at uni full-time and suspect that I will spend the vast majority of my time there. Ultimately, I am looking for a place to stay where I can sleep, shower, use the kitchen in the mornings and evenings, and be able to relax. I would also enjoy socialising with my housemates here and there too, but am happy to provide people with the privacy and space they need as well. I am looking to spend around $175-$200 (maximum). I am looking for a place to stay for at least the first semester but ideally for the first year (2020). The specific start date for my moving would be the 22nd of February.
I'm Dermot, relocating to Canberra for 6 months of work potentially longer. I'm looking for a place close to the city on the north side of Canberra or reasonably close. I'm clean and considerate of others personal space and belongings. I'm a keen cyclist and looking forward exploring Canberra in my time there.
Hi! My name is Jasmin, I'm 25, originally from Byron Bay and have spent the past 5 years in Sydney studying/working part-time. I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney in late January 2020 to start a grad role. I am very easy going and easy to live with who enjoys getting to know new people. I love to drink coffee, eat good food and have a laugh over a glass of wine. I would ideally like to move in late January sometime and live quite centrally, where there is a bit happening. Please shoot me a message if you have a room or are also looking for a place.
I’m moving to Canberra from Perth to work full time in the public sector. I’m clean, responsible and generally quiet, though would love to share a glass of wine/beer or have a coffee/Netflix session/hike on occasion. I like animals but am not bringing a pet with me, so a house with well behaved pets is definitely a plus. I enjoy hiking, especially in the cold weather, and baking - and I always share what I bake. I’m not into loud parties so am looking for somewhere quiet and a like minded flatmate.
Hi there, I'm a 27 year old Brisbane girl relocating to Canberra to begin a graduate midwifery position. I'm quiet, respectful, and clean. I do take pride in my home and like a neat & stylish environment so am looking for someone who is also clean and neat. I do enjoy socialising over coffee or wine. Im a dog-mum to a beautiful and very placid 7 year old beagle who has lived in an apartment for most of his life - therefore is very well house trained and well behaved! Im ideally looking for one other housemate to team up with in preferably a newer apartment. If you think you might like to share with me & my dog, message me!
