Hi there, I'm Kiah, I am living in Sydney at the moment in an awesome apartment, studying and working. I'm relocating to Canberra and would like to find a great new place to call home for the next 6 months to a year, or more. I'm very tidy, clean and organised. I enjoy being social with my housemates and value quiet time at home, also love to have personal space/privacy and completely respect yours. I'd like to move around early-mid July. Please message if you'd like to get in contact.
I've just accepted a job in Canberra (start is mid August - date TBC), but it's full time. I'm looking for 1-2 housemates to live with. I'm clean and tidy and respectful of the people I live with. I love music and play guitar (although I haven't done it as much lately). I'm also going to be looking for somewhere to start up martial arts again. I know a few people in Canberra already, but I'm looking to meet new people, and enjoy chats and a wine with my housemates where it suits everyone, but I am also more than happy to keep to myself at home. I'm pretty low key during the week. It's important I get along with those I live with, so I think we'd be able to gauge this when we meet :) Looking for a large room, preferably with en suite (and built- in robes/walk in!) If needed, I could bring a TV, navy 2 seater couch, rustic 2 door cabinet (current with TV on top), colourful coffee table, good quality kitchenware, new iron and ironing board. Also willing to sell/leave behind these things if there isn't space. I want to bring my queen bed, so hoping that even if a room is furnished, that part might be negotiable.. Shoot me a message if you think I might be the kind of housemate you're looking for :) I'm flexible on the move in date, as I'll temporarily be staying with my partner. Last day at my current job around the 4th of August, so could be available any time after that. :)
I am a registered nurse at Calvary John James, have a busy lifestyle, very clean and tidy. Looking for a one bed flat or granny flat preferably in South Canberra. Don't mind sharing as long as i can have an ensuit or own bathroom.
Hi! We are Jeanette and Pontus a couple from Sweden, 23y/o, looking for a place to stay from August to mid/end of November. We are coming down to Canberra because Pontus will be studying at the University in Bruce for a couple of months while I will be working as a professional chef. We are both calm, tidy and social, non smokers.
I'm a genuine and down-to-earth person who is easy to get along with and will respect everyone's privacy. I will be starting full-time studying at ANU in July. Love singing, hanging out, watching TV, working out, playing video game, or any other sports activity.
Hey there! Moving out of my sharehouse in Hackett in July and looking for a room with some cool people :) Reasons why I reckon I'm great to live with: 1) Love to have conversations about everything. Seriously, from history/political events to the pineapple pizza debate (pro-pineapple btw), just pick a topic and go. 2) Aires; this month I will find a new beginning, so that's something 3) Banter game strong 4) Own a BBQ and cook some mean burgers (American mother, it's in my blood); can lend it to my friend if there's no space as well, no dramas. 5) Lived overseas (HK and Taiwan) for a collective 10 years before moving back to Australia for uni 6) Play a little bit of bass so any drummers/musicians in the house holla at your boy and lets jam 7) Spag bog is also in the repertoire 8) I'm very tall (can reach high shelves on request) 9) Mediocre at all things video game related 10) Board game fanatic (if you play chess, I'll wanna play all the time) 11) Queenslander I've lived in a few sharehouses before so I'm pretty well versed on the general etiquette (clean/tidy), but also know that each place is different and will go in with an open mind, keen to make some friends out of it cause if you can't be friends with the people you live with then that's just sucky. Send me a message if you think we'd get along and we can have a chat over a coffee/wine! Flexible with move in dates past July 1st
I am a non-smoker who lives an active lifestyle while being very neat and organized. I always clean up after myself and I am quiet most of the times. Added to this, I always follow all the house rules and would only use the necessary areas such as the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Aside from going to work, I'm usually out on training either swimming, cycling, running or working out at the gym so I prefer to be located close to any of these facilities. Also, I would thrive well in a modern establishment with respectful, quiet and tidy housemates. Utilities/Facilities that I'm looking for: -Nearby gym & swimming pool -Indoor aircon & heating -Washing Machine and Dryer for clothes -Super fast internet that can play YouTube videos in HD without delay (I used to live at a flatshare where it takes 5-10 mins to open my e-mails and that was not fun at all) -Garage space (for my car & 2 bikes - 1 bike will be stored inside my bedroom since it will only be used for weekend trainings) -A small yard with garden hose to wash my bikes (optional) If you contact me, please provide photos to your listing as I am currently in Melbourne and would not be able to come over for viewing.
I'd like to think that I'm pretty easy to get along with. I like reading, writing, tabletop roleplaying, board games, movies ... Loads of stuff, really. I'll be cooking a decent amount too, so I'm definitely down for making an extra portion or two for whoever's staying with me. I grew up in a family of women, so if you need someone to carry your shopping bags for you on a Saturday afternoon, I'm your man. Also will take part in skincare routines daily.
I'm 23 and just finishing up my degree. Working part time at the moment, and about to start working full-time at the end of the year. I love to travel and am searching for a place to live in August when I get back from a year in America and Europe. In my spare time I love to go out with friends, do brunch, drink wine, play video games, and watch trashy TV. I love animals, especially dogs, and would prefer a pet-friendly house (although I don't have any pets just yet). I am friendly and easygoing, and would love an environment I can relax in but can also have fun with everyone when we feel like it. I'm looking for flatmates to become a little family with seeing as I don't know that many people in Canberra any more. I'd love to either join a current house or start a new house with like-minded people. I'm looking for a preferably mixed-gender house full of people who would be happy to have a chat after work and share some wines over dinner. I also love to bake desserts so would love people who would eat what I bake so I don't end up eating it all myself! Please feel free to send me a message if you'd be interested in living together
I'm 23 and about to become a student (again!) at ANU. I like a beer and a chat, but also enjoy reading, craft, hiking and doing my own thing. I always do my share of the housework, but I'm not obsessively clean. I'm also vego, but am perfectly happy to live with meat-eaters! I'm happy with any rental from six months to a year.
Looking for some cool peeps to live with! Work in Civic so inner North would be great, but I'm fairly flexible. :) About me: - Moved the Canberra from Brisbane in August - INTJ - Tidy, but not OCD clean - Reliable with bills etc - Bearded - Chill AF - Not adverse to a couple of wines after work (and a few more on weekends) Who I’m looking to live with: - Preferably more than just one other person. But I don't mind living with just one person either. - People who are fun - People who are relaxed - People who are open to hanging out occasionally Place I’m looking for: - Location wise I’m looking at Civic, Inner North and anywhere close to Civic really. - Furnished (I’ve only got my own bedroom furniture as well as some kitchen stuff) - Heating/cooling (preferable) - Own bathroom (preferable) - Parking (preferable) - Built in wardrobe (preferable) - Internet Access (MUST) I'm pretty flexible around the place I live so if I sound like someone you could live with, and your place sounds perfect for me, let me know! The bf usually sleeps over a few nights a week so you'd need to be cool with that too 🏳️🌈 :) Cheers Luke
I want to rewrite this better.. but for now: I currently work in the offensive side of IT security, previously been in the startup/entrepreneur space, and am a polyglot developer by trade. I try to balance my tech side with getting out there and enjoying the finer sides of life, be that camping at a doof with friends, snowboarding, skydiving, scuba diving, trampolining, bouldering, etc. I have such a wide array of interests it's hard to list in a little box here. Open minded and pretty easy going with most things, evenings could equally be spent binging an interesting series as they could be philosophical discussions or hacking on some new project idea. Really looking for a perfect fit kind of housemate, and would sooner continue renting as just 2 than add someone who doesn't fit "for the sake of it". Relatively clean, but not going to get anal about a speck of dust here and there so long as it's not impacting on health/life (and we opt for getting a cleaner in monthly to ensure it doesn't become an issue, as it tends to end up in so many share houses). I follow a paleo'ish/bulletproof lifestyle, pretty but focus on health/wellness/performance, so someone that fits those ideals would be awesome. Interested in finding cool people on a similar wavelength of personal growth, development, fun and freedom; and realising that maybe the right fit is going to be further outside of our current circles. Jason's a teacher. Will probably get him to write some stuff for here later. If any of this piques your interest, reach out and let's chat, see if there is a match :)

I'm 25 years old, originally from Melbourne and have been living in Lennox Head, NSW recently. I have just recently moved to Canberra, working in the public service in environment and looking for a new place to move into! I'm tidy, love a clean kitchen, conscious of everyone's personal space, active, enjoy yoga and pilates, love being outdoors (hiking and surfing) and like to consider myself a bit of a gardener. Feel free to give me a call for a chat! Cheers

I am a software developer working full time in the city. I currently live on campus at the ANU and looking to move out on or around the 15th of July as will be graduating. I am looking for long term accommodation options (at least 6 months). I don't smoke, have any pets, and I'm not the party type, or noisy. I'm clean and like a tidy home. I'm also friendly, down to earth, and likable. I like to have some personal space when I'm busy, and I respect that of others. That being said, I do like hanging out and watching Netflix or playing board-games. I also don't mind having a glass of wine and some dinner from time to time.

Hey there, I am Can Metan. I'll start my PhD in Computer Science very soon and I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a happy, squeaky clean and a trust-worthy guy. I quite enjoy cooking healthy meals and quite sociable in general. While we can share a glass of wine every now and then, I don't drink every week and I certainly don't smoke. I will be working a lot this year (likely to get a job besides PhD) and I would love to have a roomie that can pull his / her own weight. Looking forward to hear from you! PS: I love both dogs and cats (although I'm allergic to cats) and I would strongly prefer a smoke-free house.
I am moving to Canberra for a role in the public service. I already own enough house essentials (fridge, washing machine, lounge etc) to set up a home, I just need housemate/s to help pay the rent. I am only looking for housemates for a team up so we can rent a house together. I have lived in share houses for the last 15 years. I like a housemate/s who enjoy the community of a house and are willing to share meals and explore Canberra together. I am looking for housemates with secure employment and preferably somewhat near my age. I like board games, computer games, binge watching TV shows (Netflix etc), but also like to ride mountain bikes. I shall be in Canberra from the 10th of July and hope to move into a house in the next 3 weeks. I am happy to talk over email before then, and meet in person once I arrive in Canberra. I don't smoke or do drugs, and am happy to drink on occasions. I identify as LGBTI (m2f transgender). The suburbs I have listed are more of a suggestion, and am willing to consider other suburbs.
Full time barista and interior design student. I'm super easy going, love to wind down with a glass of wine after a long day, so someone that enjoys a bit of socialising would be nice, however I also enjoy my personal space too. I have a fair bit of furniture, so preferably i'd keep most of it... I also have a beautiful little rescue dog that would be staying with me about three nights a week, so I would need somewhere/someone that is pet friendly. I've already been looking at some two/three bedroom places mainly around O'connor area so just want some amazing people to team up with. I've been in Canberra just over five years and lived mainly in share houses.
