ACT region. I'm clean and tidy, quiet, friendly, not talkative but a good listener. I respect others. I'm quite good at PC and mobile and can help you if you have problems with them.
Hi, my name is Fergus and I am a looking for a place to rent in Northern Canberra as I study and work part time. Originally from Melbourne, I moved to Canberra to pursue a double degree in Arts (IR/Poli Sci) and Business Administration. In my spare you would find me playing basketball, on a ski trip, reading or hanging out with friends. I am tidy and respect others' space. I am looking for a place during the academic year as I bounce between Melbourne and Canberra.
I am a busy, full time professional. I am friendly, tidy in shared spaces and outgoing. I have a good rental history and pay everything on time. I enjoy hiking and Netflix. I am looking for an easy going person who would enjoy an occasional pizza or brunch.
Hey all! My name is Juliet, I'm 18 years old and have recently relocated to Canberra from the Sunshine Coast. I am a social person but definitely respect people's alone time and space! I am tidy and a non smoker. In my spare time I love cooking, taking walks, watching movies and chatting!! I'm a huge animal lover (but don't have any) and I get along with anybody :) Feel free to message me if you have any other questions!
Hi all. I am 22 relocating from Melbourne to Canberra to start work at ANU. I am an easy-going and friendly person who loves to talk to and learn from different people of all walks of life, although I am generally reserved and respect other's need for privacy where appropriate. I enjoy a variety of activities including(but not limited to): - Playing and watching football(soccer), - Listening to all kinds of music, - watching the occasional tv show - and travelling and exploring new places. As I will be working full-time Mon-Fri, I won't be much of a feature around the house except on weekends. I am clean and respectful of other's personal spaces and I am looking for like-minded and friendly people to share a house with. If i sound like a good fit, please feel free to contact me. Thanks.
Hello! I'm a 27 year old vet nurse and barista looking for a room in a sharehouse. I am a clean, tidy and respectful housemate with many years experience of the ins and outs of sharehouse living. I love live music, the arts, travel, sunny outdoor adventures and chilling out. I'm pretty chilled, looking for a house with like minded people who wouldn't mind sharing an occasional meal, movie night or a weekend drink, but like to do my own thing as well. :)
I'm clean, tidy, social and a very average cook. I enjoy cycling, tennis and I'm trying hard to learn Spanish. About to start full-time work in Forrest and I am flexible and easy going with where I live and who I live with. Message me with any questions! Cheers
Hi, Im Cassidy im a full time anu student studying language. I live a pretty quiet lifestyle, im either at uni or studying. But im also friendly. I am an experienced share Houser - got the basic skills - can clean on a roster if needs, pay bills on time, like a good chat and a cup of tea, have hobbies ( music, sport, travel - have travelled a lot - Maybe explains why I still rent) like cooking, sharing meals, like the environment and looking after it ( eg recycling), interest in social justice, like art...like social house but also private time too ...as is often the case...like a good balance - work in APS - helps pay bills to do some of my creative hobbies...:)
Open minded, easy going and friendly. Love to cook, have a glass of wine and a chat but also mindful of personal space. Neat and tidy, easy to communicate with regarding house expenses etc. My working week can be quite busy so i'm generally not home a great deal but enjoy socialising when i can. BBQs, friends for dinner and live music in more my thing than raging parties. Moving from the coast will be hard as I love anything ocean based, (i'm hoping my love for the ocean is transferrable to snow) but am keen to explore Canberra and surrounds. I'm into art (both creating and appreciating), travel and am environmentally minded. Oh, and I'm also a lawyer. Commencing work on the 19th of March and hoping to find a like minded flatmate before then!
I love cooking and sharing the food I make with love :) I also enjoy gardening, getting outdoors into nature and communal crafternoon sessions. I love a cup of tea shared with friends and will always lend an ear for a chat about all things philosophical or extremely mundane. I am clean, tidy & respectful of people's belongings, beings and personal space. I balance home and work life as well as quiet time alone and time spent with friends/house mates.
Hello, I'm Ian 22 from Melbourne. I'm moving to Canberra in February to complete my masters in diplomacy at ANU. I have lived in share houses in Melbourne and Adelaide. I am looking to move into a positive environment with people who are happy to have a cheeky beverage on occasion but also content just doing their own thing. I pride myself on paying bills on time, respect for communal areas and consideration of my flatmates. A few of my interests include cooking, eating out, bad dad jokes/ puns, volunteering, photography and gym. Looking forward to meeting my future housemates!
Hi I'm Josh. I like international cinema (Pan's Labyrinth is amazing), black coffee, I'm quiet and I'm vegan (if you're not that's fine too). I'm 23, I've just moved from Newcastle and I'm studying a B. Economics at the ANU. The occasional dinner/film with housemates would be fun, though I respect privacy and space. I like to keep a clean and organised living space and would be happy to share chores. Before now I studied different humanities part-time in Newcastle. I can move anytime within the next month.
I am clean, quiet, fun and respectful. I live my life with a mug of tea in my hand and my nose buried on a book, or whatever craft project I am attempting that is well beyond my skills set. Currently working at the farmers markets selling plants and flowers, so if you garden there will be sweet discount greenery in your life if we live together 😊 I like to get out of the house to socialize, or cook elaborate desserts and feed them to everyone within arms reach for fun and pleasure. I believe that of you use it, you clean it, and that cleaning rosters are a recipe for disappointment Feel free to hit me up for a coffee or a chat so we can talk about why I am excellent to live with or (or anything else, really)
Hey, I am a German student and I will be writing my Master's thesis in physics at ANU. My hobbies are: football (or soccer? I don't know how you call it), hiking, biking, badminton, playing games (board and computer), music and travelling. I like to cook and would consider myself as quite tidy. I already lived in a shared flat in Budapest for a year. I am looking for people with whom I could live together, and maybe for new friends. I enjoy going out in the evening, but sometimes also want to have some privacy and relaxing evenings at home.
Heya. My name is Alexandra, and I recently graduated (!!!) from the University of Toronto in History and Material Culture. I’m in the process of returning to Canberra after a few years abroad, and am beginning my postgraduate studies in February. Ideally, I'd like to live somewhere near ANU. I've spent the past few months travelling and working abroad, but I'm hoping to find a comfortable place to live in Canberra as I get started with grad school. I’m clean (but not obsessively so) and quiet, although I’m always happy to share a meal or order takeout with my flatmates. I like dogs (but I don't have any of my own), craft cider, Arrested Development, and coffee. I lived in a shared house in Toronto, and am happy to provide references if necessary. I’m also a non-smoker.
I'm studying part time at ANU, but have graduated from my degree in International Relations and am finishing off a diploma of Languages in Indonesian Studies. I work as a part time manager at a restaurant in Hackett and am President for the ACT chapter of the Australian Indonesian Youth Association. I love learning languages and exploring different cultures through that, I also majored in Arabic and Japanese and have studied in both Qatar and Indonesia. I would hope my career can help build understanding and stronger relations between Australia and our neighbours. A good kitchen is preferred because I love cooking and baking but not essential! Ideally I would like to live in a house that can have a dinner every couple of weeks, everyone feels comfortable checking in on how we are all doing but also aware that we may have times that we all need our own space sometimes and is respectful of that. Would love to grab a coffee and chat about moving in to see if we are a good fit! Hope to hear from you soon, Peter
I am an easy to go person with an adjustable nature. I am from Mumbai, India and visiting ADFA for a short term. I am a researcher, working in the field of education. I teach physics at the college level. During my two months stay at Canberra, I would like to be close to ADFA. Well, I love running, travel and occasionally enjoy cooking. I am a non-smoker, a teetotaller. I believe that owner's privacy and rules of the house should be respected.
ANU postgraduate student. Tidy, open-minded, responsible, relaxed, occasionally plays musical instruments alone silently so not to disturb anybody. Looking for a place to stay for 4 months preferably close to ANU or close to buses route number 7 or 3
Hi! I'm a first-year PhB student at ANU trying to do Mathematics. I come from Singapore though ethnically I'm half Japanese and half Australian. I enjoy washing dishes while listening to loud angry people shout music into my ears. I typically keep to myself but I do enjoy engaging conversations. Other than that I come with a PS4 Pro, a Switch, a variety of handheld consoles, and a Wii U loaded with Smash if that's your thing.
Hi there! I'm a chill housemate, neat & friendly. I bake for a living; I am usually out by early morning and come back home late in the evening. If I am not exploring the outdoors, I enjoy a good old book and a nice cuppa in the weekend. I'm an old soul who is into gardening, crafting and the likes. Looking for similar outgoing housemates to cook and laugh with.
I have lived in Sydney for 7 years and now I am moving to Canberra to study and work. I like having a place that is super tidy and clean, like my space but also to hang out, have good laugh and chat. I love watching movies and series, but also like the outdoors.
