I am a recent graduate from Sydney who has found a grad job in Canberra and is currently looking for a place to live while I work. I'm a 23 year old male who has independent living experience during my University days. I am a down to earth guy who doesn't mind talking with flatmates and sharing a good laugh. I am usually a quiet person, but loves to explore and experience different places and make new friends along the way. I have no preference to whom I live with as long as keeping a place clean, I am opened to anyone. On weekends I enjoy jogging and rock climbing with mates who are interested and socialise with people. Looking for either furnished or unfurnished rooms close to my work place in centre of Canberra. I do like a parking space, if not I do not mind. My preference is a private room and a private bath-room but I am happy to share. Room to store my desk and work stuff would be ideal.
I am a 23 year old public servant who moved to Canberra a year and a bit ago. I enjoy cycling and socialising with my friends. I am friendly but unobtrusive. Pretty quiet on week nights as I am pretty tired. But on weekends love to socialise. I am happy to chat and share dinner or give each other space. I am flexible and easy going with living arrangements. Looking for unfurnished room as I have a Queen bed, bedside table and chest of drawers. Room to store my desk and fridge would be ideal.
I need to relocate from country NSW as I have stable work in a bar in Dickson and the driving is killing me! Im clean and tidy, like to socialise but am pretty quiet and not into the party scene. I like sports, movies and a good (or bad) joke
Hello, I am a tidy and quiet person, and I enjoy chatting with people. I am a professional structural engineer. I like watching movies and documentaries, playing computer games and do exercise. I'm looking for a flatshare and have a budget of $250 per week. If you are interested in my profile, please get in touch. Thank you
I like books, camping, composing, interesting chats and funny people. I'm a part time piano teacher, and full time student entering my final semester of Politics Philosophy and Economics / BMus. In my free time I love to jam. Last year I was Woroni's International sub-editor, this year I am focusing more on study. I'm overseas right now but ask for my Skype, and shoot by any questions. I don't bite :)
Hello future flatmates! I'm a final year Arts/Law student and I work full time at a publishing firm at Parliament House. After deferring uni last semester to undertake an internship in Berlin, I'm looking for a new place to call home as soon as possible! You’ll find me to be an upbeat, uncomplicated, tidy and considerate housemate. I really love to cook and I enjoy a good chat (with or without a glass of red wine). When I’m not baking or cooking up a storm for friends and loved ones (housemates included!), I’m either volunteering, reading books, watching foreign films, learning new languages, trying out new restaurants, at the gym, going out for walks (and purposely getting lost to find cool stuff!) or travelling. While I’m just as happy to be alone doing any of the aforementioned things, I’m always happy to have company too. Looking forward to hearing from you and creating Canberra's most fabulous sharehouse!
Hi, I'm Matvey I'm studying Philosophy at the ANU. I love music and just walking around and exploring places. I do some amateur photography and printmaking. I speak good Japanese and have lived in Kyoto and Sapporo I'm very quiet and tend to keep to myself. I'm not great at small talk but I like socializing and would really like to live in a friendly household where we are all honest and sincere with eachother I'm vegan and would also very much prefer to live with other vegans/vegetarians. Cool with pets. Cleaning rosters, group dinners etc, all cool. I come with a pair of guitar amps, but we can work to set up appropriate playing times/volume levels If I sound like a good fit for your place send me a message :) Also super keen on setting up a new sharehouse, if others are keen. ((I don't use social media, but rest assured I am a real person)) Peace!
Hey there, I am Thomas. I grew up in Paris and studied Earth Sciences in both Paris and Zürich (five months). For the next three to four years I will be studying at the Research School of Earth Sciences of the ANU as a PhD candidate. I am definitely easy-going, love listening to music, enjoy meeting up and partying with friends as well as watching movies or playing games. Not the best cook, expect me to try, but success is not always there ! Most importantly I would say, always paying attention to others and ready to give a hand !
Hi there, I'm moving to Canberra for work as a journalist. I am originally from Sydney but have been living in Melbourne for two years. Work is going to be pretty full on for me so I won't be around all that much. I love to chill out to a drink or head out for a few at a pub on a Friday or Saturday night. Sports fan, mostly NRL and cricket but my time in Melbourne taught me a thing or two about AFL. Overall I'm really chilled and easygoing to live with and just looking for people who clean up after themselves. Hope to hear from you. Greg
Hi, I'm Gillian! I've been in Canberra for 6 months, originally from Melbourne and working full-time in the APS. I'm very easy to live with, clean and respectful. Happy to have the odd drink or meal with housemates, but equally happy doing my own thing. Food (or perhaps eating) is my calling - I love finding new places to eat, enjoy reading in my spare time, attempting to grow plants and spending the odd pyjama day on the couch binging on trashy tv. Ideally I'd like to live with someone like minded, but am pretty flexible in who that or they may be. I don't have much furniture wise (other than for my room), but have plenty of handy bits and pieces for around the house.
A little about myself: I'm a 21 year old arts student in the final year of my bachelors at ANU. I consider myself pretty easygoing and uncomplicated; I'm not a neatfreak but I'm tidy and know how to clean up after myself. Happy contribute to keeping common areas in a good state too. My interests float all over the place, but at the moment I'm into photography, reading, philosophy, film, and the outdoors. I like to cook vegetarian food, and love sharing a good meal and a chinwag. Equally, I'm happy doing my own thing and enjoying a stimulating read, or singing and strumming (quietly!) about on my acoustic guitar. I'm a pretty sociable person, and enjoy an occasional beer or glass of wine.I cycle basically everywhere and have learned a thing or two about basic bicycle maintenance, if ever there is a need. I've previously lived in shared accommodation of varying sizes. While I'm studying, I work casually to support myself. I have few other expenses, so my financial situation is pretty steady. I'm looking for a lease of atleast 6 months, until I graduate from my bachelors. After that, I'm not entirely sure what my plans are. I will likely stick around in Canberra and do a few internships or continue studying. Ideally looking for somewhere in the Inner North, but I'm flexible provided it's within cycling distance of the ANU! Cheers :)
I work in technology-public sector. I'm a project manager. I'm looking for a furnished apartment. I'm pretty active, enjoy jogging and aerobics. I like reading and enjoy good music. On weekends I like to hangout, drink good coffee and eat good food. I also travel to Sydney regularly on weekends.
Hey, I am full time PhD student at ANU. Most of the time is expected to be at university. Currently i am living in Brisbane so Canberra will be a new place for me to live. I am open minded and friendly. Also like to hang out with friends and traveling. I don't drink or smoke, but i use to go out with friends to explore new places. I would like to have my own space sometimes while respecting other's values. If someone wants to have a great and supportive friend, housemate then text me.
I am currently studying philosophy and sociology at the ANU. I was born on the Gold Coast and remained there until the age of 17. I am friendly and hold a wide range of interests. I enjoy cycling, reading, music as well as meeting new and interesting people. I am well suited to most living environments, having stayed in multiple places throughout my time as a student.
Hi there, I've relocated to Canberra to continue studying and working. I would like to find an awesome new home for the next 6 months to a year, or longer. I'm very tidy, clean and organised, enjoy hanging out with my housemates and also enjoy quiet time. I value personal space/privacy and completely respect others. I'd like to move asap. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you need any more information.
Hi! Im Anja. I am a clean, hardworking individual. I spend much of my time outdoors, hiking and exercising with my best friend fisher who is an 8 month old border collie. He is trained by me, incredibly well natured, smart, loyal and obedient. I'd love to live somewhere rural as the open spaces, fresh air, peace and quiet is all I'm after. If you live on a property and need a helping hand out in the fields I'm more than capable of hard work. If you have sheep, I'd love to train my border collie to herd. He would be fantastic! otherwise just looking for a spacious place in the burbs. I work 5 days a week from 9-5. friends of mine look after fisher for two of my working days and my folks often take him to the beach. Thanks for the consideration.
My name is Lottie, I am 26, Canberra girl, no partner, friendly, laugh a lot and chatty but not in your face! By day I'm a carer for clients with disabilities, on the side I freelance my makeup services (ladies; wink wink... I come with lots of makeup) and at night....i become cat woman. Kidding I sleep very soundly. Preferably looking for a place long term with an ensuite. But I am happy to compromise. I love animals of all kinds and will delight in walking your dog if you have one. Other notables; I'm not a clean freak but am certainly neat and tidy. I listed am available from 1st August onwards but I'm flexible about that. I love antiques and I play guitar and sing. Looking forward to meeting you :)
Young, bubbly professional working in healthcare and statistics. Looking for a place to call home. Originally from Sydney, currently in Bruce. Preference is for a clean place with my own room (not shared), fun and friendly professionals/students that also know when to give personal space. I usually keep myself busy with work, reading or soccer and also like to go out on the weekends to meet with friends/nature.
Hi future house mate! I'm looking for an established house or for some people I can get along with to start a share house of our own. I work full time in the public service as an Executive Assistant and also study Interior Design. I'm out most nights but would like housemates who are keen for good food and a wine every now and then, I'm clean and tidy and I'm very considerate of the people I live with. I don't mind a party every now on the weekend but I don't want to live with people who party throughout the week. I want a house where all housemates are responsible for their own food and cooking (I'm not about the communal food life) but we'd all split the utilities and interest equally and do our fair share of household cleaning (I don't mind a roster system). In my spare time I read a lot, watch old gangster flicks and get out climbing the hills and reserves around Canberra. I try to get down to the coast every third of fourth week, I'm also planning on travelling overseas a little bit at the end of the year. I'm looking for housemates who are friendly and happy to socialise but also have their own lives and are busy doing cool stuff that interests them.
