I'm an Honours chemistry student at ANU who has a graduate job lined up from mid-2019 onward. I'm very friendly, clean and easygoing. I like the outdoors and staying fit, and spending time with friends. I travel when I can, and love trying new things. As a housemate, I'm independent, respectful and reliable. My current contract ends in November but I can move in October.
Hi, I’m moving to Canberra from Adelaide to start a new job as a research scientist. I enjoy playing sports (especially tennis) and being out in nature. I’m friendly, respectful, and tidy.
Moving back to Canberra after a 2 year hiatus for work. Always up for a chat, but love my private space. I like to keep things clean and tidy, don't mind gatherings and love going out and letting new people. I enjoy cycling and plan to ride to work most days. I'm an IT professional, but certainly not the stereotype ;)
I'm clean and tidy person of commom areas. I don't like having mess around. Have OCD about cleaning and vacuuming. I have my pet puppy who is a maltease x shitzu. Hypo allergic so no one can have a reaction to her fur. Her name is melody. I have my own car and bike for transport. I don't drink alcohol as i don't like the taste. My hobbies and interest are typical nerdy stuff such as games, warhammer and anything music related. Always down for a chat about any topic if anyone has problems etc more than happy to hear about it :)
Moving to Canberra from Canada to work for the High Commission of Canada in Australia for six months. Easy going, respectful, and clean couple. We love being outdoors and travelling! Hoping to either get a place to ourselves or join a houseshare that is also respectful/clean and but keen for a beer/coffee/meal at times. Can definitely provide a reference from our previous housemate in Canada! Message me with any questions at all!
Hi! Im Brendan, 23 and I work full time as a lawyer for the ACT government. I am friendly, sociable, and easy going. I am also pretty tidy and considerate. I'm relatively new to Canberra, so a house with an easygoing social vibe, balanced with respect for people's space would be awesome. I'd love to hear from you! Thanks, Brendan
Hello, just found out my beautiful Watson house is being sold and I'm taking it as an opportunity for a bit of a change. I'm a tidy artist, I love cooking, always keen for a chat but respectful of space. I work at the National Gallery at the moment and I'm just about to go to Japan for three weeks!
I am 24 yo, having recently moved to Canberra to start my PhD in Astrophysics at ANU. I have spent considerable time traveling over the last 1.5 years, changing continents every 3-4 months while doing research in space sciences. I have lived in Canberra for 3 months last year while working at Mt Stromlo. I am a fairly easygoing and flexible person. I like to keep my house neat and tidy and respect everyone's personal space. I have lived in sharehouses before and have gotten along pretty well with my housemates. I enjoy a drink or two here and there and like to socialize. I love cooking and sharing meals (if you love Indian food, you can save lots of dollars you spend in Indian restaurants xD). In my free time, I like to binge watch Netflix, go out for movies/drinks or read. I like playing badminton and spend two evenings every week at ANU Sport with my badminton club. I am also good with pets and can help you take care of them if you have one. I have been very punctual with respect to rent and bills. I have a scholarship to pursue my PhD which can conveniently take care of all my expenses. I am looking to join a friendly household where I can feel like home. If you think we can click, please feel free to drop a message! PS: My moving in date is flexible and can be anything between October 1 - October 30.
I'm a full time student at the ANU studying a double degree in languages and archaeology. I am quiet and stick to myself, however I won't say no to an evening socializing with my housemates or a spontaneous grocery trip. I have previous experience sharing a house and am very keen on creating a welcoming environment. In my free time I enjoy watching Netflix, baking, reading, playing video games, and listening to podcasts. I would like to take up gardening, so if you have one that would be a big plus! I am more than happy if you have pets, but if you have a big and/or energetic dog I would like to meet them first. I do not have a car and cannot cycle due to medical reasons, so it would be great if there are bus stops nearby. NOTE: My maximum budget of $300pw includes bills. I look forward to meeting you :)
My name is Tash I'm 24 years old and making the big move up to Canberra in October from Melbourne. I'm starting a new job at a Sydney radio station on the 22nd of Oct so ideally looking to move into a place a few days before that. I like to think I'm super easy going, friendly and most certainly clean and tidy without being too ocd about it! I'm super keen to find a place which will make my transition nice and easy and hope that my housemates can take me under their wing! However, I certainly understand that everyone has their own lives going on and the need for space. If you think you'd like to live with me I'd love to hear from you!
Hey guys! I´m Michael, 26 years old and I am doing an internship at CSIRO at the moment in Canberra. I´m already here since 5 weeks and will stay for another 7 weeks, for which I search for a new accommodation. (got some issues with my room I stay at the moment). I´m tidy, easy to have and pretty chilled. But better just hit me up, so we can have a little chat or you just give me a quick call Best case would be to find a place not too far from CSIRO (+- 5 km) but I am really open for any suggestions. Looking forward to hear from you! Cheers!
Hi I'm Jacinta. I'm a 27 year old PhD student studying biology at ANU. I love dancing, travel, wine and anything outdoors. I'm social, respectful and tidy. Looking for somewhere longer term stay in north canberra.
I am a tidy, friendly, non-smoking full time uni student who works part time in the APS. I am generally very busy, spending most of my days at uni or at work. but I do enjoy socialising when I can, and I also enjoy getting outside and exercising.
Hello! I’m a female student doing masters at the ANU. I’ve been living on campus in the past year, and I’m thinking to spend my last semester outside the uni, so that I can get a chance to enjoy a different environment with inspiring people. I'm a friendly and easy-going person, hardworking and a bit of obsessed with cleanliness xd so I am always excited whenever I have to do house-cleaning activities (it does help to release stress from uni workload though!). I love cooking and enjoy watching films and reading books. Always be happy to have nice conversations with everyone about anything. Cheers!
I'm a lawyer and am working full time in the federal public service. I'm an independent, clean, respectful and friendly person. My interests are travel, history, politics, languages, learning new things, trying new restaurants and cafes here, spending time at the beach and walking (around and outside Canberra).
Hey there :) I'm very easy going, friendly and respectful of others. I like to be clean and tidy. I enjoy being social and going to the gym. I'm from Wollongong and working full time as a Geotechnician in Marulan. Looking for a friendly and relaxing place to share.
Hey! We're a couple moving down to Canberra in Jan/Feb 2019 for work/study. Elena is starting her PhD at ANU, and Oskar is starting work at the ATO. We're both very flexible people - we appreciate the need for private bedroom space, but will happily chill in the living space with other housemates after work and on weekends. Around the house we're both very low maintenance, the sort of people who'll make the effort to wash up the dishes in the evening so we don't have to deal with it in the morning. In her spare time, Elena loves reading, drinking tea, and playing hockey. Oskar plays a lot of ultimate frisbee, listens to music, and enjoys being out-and-about. We're both casual trumpet players, though we only practice once or twice a week so don't worry about the noise! We're looking for 1-3 people to share a house with somewhere within 7km or so (cycling distance) of ANU. We don't have any strong preferences in housemates, as long as they're roughly 18-30yrs old, don't smoke inside the house, and are socially accepting people. We hope to hear from you soon :)
Hey I'm Conrad. I'm a student at ANU. My accommodation runs out at the end of September and I'm looking for a place for the last 4 weeks of Semester before I fly back home to Western Australia. I like sport, art, most types of Music. I love travel so I have a wide range of interests. I'm doing a masters of middle eastern central Asian studies. I'm pretty clean and tidy and keeping the place looking neat. I'm friendly and easy to get on with. Give me a call.
Clean, keep to myself but i am friendly and happy to hang out sometimes for a chat. I work in kingston and close by would be an advantage but anywhere in Canberra is fine as i have been living in Evatt for the last 10 months. Weekends i am not around alot as i travel back to Orange to see family. I am a soccer coach and go to the gym to keep some sort of fitness
Hey there, my name is Rach and I live in Adelaide but I'm moving to Canberra in 2019 to work as a graduate in the APS. I'm looking for flatmates who are easy going, friendly, and enjoy a wine or two. I'm looking for flatmates who want to be friends, and spend the odd day or night together watching netflix/going for walks/watching the footy or having a BBQ. That being said, I'm also respectful of time to ourselves, and will need a bit of this to catch up on work and study, and go home to Adelaide every now and then. What can I bring to the table? Nice wine glasses, cheese knives and platters, coffee cups, and decent cooking skills. What can you bring? Hopefully a table! I'm good to keep things clean and tidy, pull my weight and pay my bills on time. In my spare time I like to be social, play with my dog Charlie (unfortunately he's not coming with me), scout out good coffee and good wineries. Coming from South Australia, I'm into things like supporting small wineries, local producers and farmers markets. It also means I'm used to being able to get anywhere in 20 minutes, so I'm looking for places in areas close to my work in Barton. If you think we'd get along, and you've got a room free around January/February 2019, please get in touch!
I'm a full time professional looking for a tidy share with nice housemate(s), preferably a master bedroom. I drive, gym, cook, read, socialize etc. I'm great to live with and easy going. I have a bed, desk etc, Happy to share a meal occasionally.
Hey my name is Aiden, I’m in my final year of University in QLD and have secured a graduate job in Canberra and will be starting early-mid February 2019 (a little early to be looking right!). I've never been to Canberra before and don't know where any of the hot spots are so flick me a message if you have any advice, best suburbs to live in or where the best coffee is. I'm looking for another person to team-up with to get a place, or move into an already established house with a spare room. Location wise, as close to City Hill with 1-2 other house mates and own bathroom would be perfect! I’m a clean, tidy, easy going person who lives an active and pretty healthy lifestyle. I love my coffee, eating out, wine nights, watching movies and in general keeping busy. I'll be working full-time and looking to live with the same. I’m allergic to cats so unfortunately can't live with any on the property. Would prefer no pets, unless its a super cute doggo. The perfect housemate/s would be friendly and social people, who respect your own space/time as we all need that sometimes. If you're looking for someone to team up with or have anything available around February, let me know and will plan a trip to Canberra to catch-up.
Born in Melbourne, studied in Western Australia, and working in Queensland. My next venture is a PhD in Canberra at ANU. I will be arriving in Canberra around the start of October. If you have somewhere for me to stay i'm keen for a chat.
