Jesse Marks

I’m an incoming PhD student at the Australian National University and I just relocated to Canberra. I’m American, but very international. I have lived, studied, and worked across the Middle East, China, Europe, and, most recently, Washington, DC. I now looking for a calm but communal spot with a full or near-full kitchen and great house mates to vine with. I’m a respectful, reliable housemate who treats home as a place to recharge and focus, especially during the week.
Outside of research, I love hiking, rowing, cooking proper meals, and spending time at good local pubs and cafés. I’m social in a low-key way (happy shared dinners or chats) but also value quiet evenings and personal space. I am also an avid musician, and enjoy going to concerts.
I’m clean, financially stable, non-smoking, and used to living with other professionals and postgrads. Ideally looking for North Canberra within a walk, cycle, or tram from ANU, but open to good fits.
