Hey everyone, my names Phil, I am 32 commercial pilot moving from Melbourne to Canberra around the end of October, looking for a place preferably close to the airport.. I will spend some nights away for work, I am easy going, don't mind cooking, and get along with anyone. Enjoy a quiet night in watching Netflix and talking crap just as much as going out and seeing a movie.
Looking for inner North share house for shorter term 3 - 6 months, with possible extension. I work full time Monday - Friday, and keep busy with dance classes/training on weeknights. On the quieter side but enjoy a chat. Clean, tidy and responsible.
Just a normal guy. I am really only interested in living with one other person although i might consider more than one in a big enough house. Someone easy going and not to fussy. I like a clean house but i can leave a plate in the sink too. I can be social yet i also enjoy alone time and need some privacy to an extent. I am a Chef and i love cooking. I enjoy all kinds of food. I don't really care about your diet Eg: vegan or whatever, but i can't stand being lectured on mine!! Food is awesome, enjoy it!! I have a few hobbies and would love a veggy garden or a herb garden at least and i also want to grow mushrooms. All legal and legit of course hehe. I have been wanting a work shop or space for some time so that would be a huge plus for me.
I am a 22 year old full-time public servant that moved from Queensland to Canberra in January last year. I am easy-going, but respectful of shared and personal space. Most nights you’d find me in bed before 10, so I’m definitely not a night owl. I enjoy socialising over dinner or a glass of wine, but I’m just as happy to leave a housemate/s be.
I'm originally from Canberra and just moved back from Bathurst to start a job with Parks and Conservation. I will spend most of my time during the week at work and sports training, on the weekends I tend to get outside. When I'm at home, I love to cook, clean and relax! I'm easy going, always up for a chat, but like to wind down pretty early most nights.
Hi my name is Courtney! I'm an energetic, excitable, social and bubbly student studying Primary Teaching at ACU in Melbourne. I was born in Darwin but I currently live in a country town called Ballarat in Victoria with my family, but it is time to move! I'm looking for a place to live as my family is moving into a smaller home and my partner is studying at ADFA as an Officer in training for the past year. I'm finishing a teacher aide course this year and wanting to study at ACU in Canberra too. A bit more about myself, when I'm not inside listening to AWESOME 70's music while I study is that I love to roller skate (if i could live in my skates I would!) to the same 70's music and have a good chat. I have a record player that I'm more than happy for people to use my own records or your own. I draw and paint for a hobby (while keeping everything clean) and looking to join a roller derby team too! I am optimistic, compassionate, encouraging, hate being indoors unless it's too cold outside, and love to do house cleaning/chores. I love to go out with friends but the only stumbling I do is on my roller skates as I don't drink, so I won't wake you up at odd hours in the night as that is one of my values: respect for people's sleep and privacy/space. I can cook, do gardening, take care of pets and help you if you need anything! I'm inclusive and may drag you along to some social gatherings or take an interest in your hobbies. I'm hoping to move out by the end of the year, so I can start uni in Canberra without any stresses! My boyfriend lives at ADFA and is an officer and a gentleman. Moving to Canberra is also to be closer to each other so, if it's not an issue we will be seeing him quite a bit at the house to visit me when he can, you can make friends with him also! We are both respectable to house rules and are adaptable to them too. Thank you for taking the time to read about me! Kindest Regards, Courtney Stedman
I am Prachi, a fun loving and friendly girl. I have been a graphic designer for the past 7 years. I had applied for a subclass 190 visa from India last year. I have been granted the same by he Australian govt. with a state sponsorship from Canberra. I will be in Canberra from 7th Oct'18 and would like to rent a house. My hobbies are painting and singing. I love to explore new places and cuisines. I try and go for a run everyday and meditate once in 2 days.
I am an international student doing his master’s in management and information systems from ANU. (no, I'm not boring, my degree is) Generally, I'm pretty chilled out and of helpful demeanour and get along with people quite easily. I like to play, follow and watch sports, also some drama and sitcoms. I'm a vegetarian and I often cook my meals and love to share my food. Also, I don`t mind a beer or wine every now then and always up for a good chat. I'm pretty good with my bills and rent payments as well and I like my surroundings clean and organised though not obsessed about it. If there's anything else, you would like to know about me please feel free to message me. 🙂
Hello, I'm Jemma! I'm a happy, bubbly and easy-going person who is temporarily moving to Canberra for a paid internship. I'm temporarily leaving my life in Perth, where I am doing a PhD in Psychology, to take on this full-time position in a Gov department. I'm clean, respectful and easy-going. I would really like to get along with my housemate/s - but I will also respect your privacy and space. I enjoy a good glass of wine, I love my food, and keeping fit. Looking for a chilled environment to come home to after work. Please get in contact if you think I'm a fit!
My name is Ahmed and I'm 32 years old. I work as an assistant lecturer/research assistant. At the same time I'm a 3rd year PhD student at ANU, studying molecular biology at JCSMR. I'm a very respectful, quiet, clean, responsible, non-smoking and tidy person. At the weekend, I like to enjoy cooking and sharing my food with my housemates. I have been living in Dickson for the past year. Looking for a room reasonably close to ANU. I'm flexible with the duration of the lease and ready to move on the 16th of Sept.
Okay so a bit about myself, I have lived in share housing for almost 3 years now, so I definitely know the drill. I’m 19 years old, I work as a dental assistant in Manuka, normally Monday - Thursday & Tuesday - Friday. I’m looking for a second job for nights and weekends as I’ve recently just left my bar job. So normally I’m pretty busy working 7 day weeks. If I’m not working I go to my parents house in bredbo NSW, (45mins from Canberra, which is where I’m from). For fun I like to hang out with friends, eating, movies, drinks all that kinda stuff! I do keep to myself quite a bit when it comes to share houses, just because I’m normally so tired from long hours. So you’ll normally find that I like to be in my room chilling out watching Netflix. I guess what I’m really looking for in a home is just a clean environment to be honest. Xo Lauren
G'day, I'm James! I'm originally from Adelaide, but moved to Canberra mid last year. I work full-time as an engineer, but I also study part time as a postgrad at the ANU. I'm pretty sociable and will happily have a chat or a couple drinks after work if thats your speed; otherwise I more than willing to give you your space and keep a low footprint at home. Between work, gym, uni and my partner I keep pretty busy so I like to keep my space at home tidy and try not to be a burden on anyone else. Feel free to get in contact and have a chat, I'm pretty easy going.
Hello, I am moving back to Canberra, having lived in Melbourne for a year. Work in the public service, like to read, travel and the odd glass of wine or beer. Looking for a place close to the city - Civic, Braddon, Turner etc . Don’t have a car, so I don’t require a car space. Happy to team up with people to apply for places.
I have recently graduated from ANU and I currently work part-time in the city. I'm from the South Coast, so love swimming and the beach. I also enjoy reading and going to see some live music when possible. I am a nice, tidy, friendly person who is always up for a chat/dinner/drinks/board games but I also like some time to myself. I currently live in a sharehouse in Ainslie, which I've been in for a few years so I know all the ins-and-outs of shared living and how to have a great time without stepping on toes!
Hey there. A bit about myself: My name is Mel, 25 years young and I've been in Canberra for the last seven years. Of those seven, I've lived in shared accommodation for five, and have yet to fail paying my rent on time. During the week, I work full-time in a consulting firm. In my spare time, I'm pretty fond of hiking, Netflix, cooking and checking out events at galleries. I consider myself to be a fairly career focused, courteous, neat and friendly person. While I don't have the expectation to become best mates, I also don't want to be living with a complete stranger. I'd love to have a chat over coffee and see if we are well-suited housemates. If things pan out, I’d be seeking to move in somewhere between 4-6 weeks. Let me know if you're keen. Thanks!
Will have Just finished a diploma at CSU Wagga Wagga, just looking to find a job and settle down in Canberra. I don't typically tend to take up a lot of space, nor am I messy or loud. I want to find a place I can feel comfortable in, preferably with students, but this isn't necessary. I'm easy going and easy to get along with, up for a chat 90% of the time, however, I do really enjoy my own company sometimes and like to just chill out by myself. Originally from a small town in NSW, Trundle. So I'm still getting used to the mass amounts of people. I went to a boarding school in high school (Red Bend CC) and currently live on campus at CSU, so I'm use to living with groups of people around my age.
I’m an Executive Assistant at the ANU and I’m either at work or the gym late most days. I love a clean home where I can relax and I actually enjoy cleaning! I can’t cook to save my life so I order all of my meals already made (don’t judge!). My partying days are behind me but I do enjoy meeting new people and having a good d&m and a laugh. I’m respectful and trustworthy and hope the same from my housemates. I’m hoping to find some lovely people to move in with who are positive and happy and great to be around.
