Returning to Canberra for study and job hunting, after working in the UK and South Sudan. Looking for a room available now or end of March at latest, preferably for 6 months minimum, but intend on settling in Canberra for a while so longer works too. I like sharing dinner and a glass of wine, perhaps having a few others over to do so as well, but not after a party house. On a weekend I'll be heading out for frisbee, running, hiking, with a bit of that through the week too - a spot (on road/off road) for a car is needed. I enjoy keeping communal spaces clean. Would be great to live with people in their mid 20s-30s. Unfortunately sneezing mess around cats :( , and not keen on smoking households. I'd like a room with a window, plus space for a double bed and a small desk. Most importantly, I'd love to meet housemates as well!
I’m 20 years old, and moving to Canberra from North Queensland. I currently work in a pub doing waitressing and bar work, and am studying building design. I like trying new things and enjoy reading, skating, and pretty much anything. Will binge watch netflix with you! (Or by myself) I am hoping to find people I can both live and be friends with. I’m fairly neat but I can deal with mess. I’m pretty social but also like time to myself and will totally respect your privacy :) I’m not really a big drinker due to lack of time, but will occasionally get on the piss and go all out (but don’t worry, I’m a quiet drunk when I need to be). I’m super flexible on where I live
Hello! I am a consulting graduate and will be moving to Canberra for my Full Time job. I am a cheerful girl who enjoys binging on TV shows, going hiking and catching up with friends over brunch. I love animals and will not mind if you have one. I am a tidy girl and I like to keep things clean, especially communal areas.
I am a full time public servant. I am clean, respectful and organised. I enjoy music, movies, the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. I usually keep to myself, but am very happy to hang out too. Originally from Adelaide, I have been living in Canberra for the last three years. I have no pets but am happy to live in a house that is home to some.
Hi! I'm a full time travel agent and part time law student who has lived in shared accommodation for about 4 years. In my spare time I play and watch sport, dream about travel and watch netflix to destress. I love a friendly house which also has room for alone time!
Looking for a place to stay whilst I settle into Canberra. I'm a very easy-going, social person who loves playing sport and having a good time but knows how to crack down on studies when required. I am also very respectful of other people's personal space and capable of lifting my weight in regards to housekeeping. I am looking for roommates who are clean, respectful and friendly. If you have any questions at all do not hesitate to send me a message :)) Regards, Jude.
Hi! I'll be moving to Canberra from Canada in March and looking for a friendly home. I'm social and enjoy a nice chat or sharing a dinner with roommates, but also know the importance of having my own space from time to time. I've lived with many different people in different countries and I am very open minded and respectful of all lifestyles! I work in the disability services field, love Ultimate Frisbee, and the outdoors. I also enjoy a nice board game night every now and then! Looking for people who are open minded and respectful! As I am still in Canada, would love to skype to see if we would be a good match! Thanks!
Hi there, I'm Georgia. I am an easy going girl that loves a good chat but also enjoys personal time to study and relax. I like to play sports, work, be outdoors and explore canberra when I have the time to. I am currently a student at the anu and working part time. I am an easy person to live with, I am neat, tidy and quiet and a fairly decent chef/baker.
Im 26, I’m an electrical apprentice looking for a room to rent, long term. Preferably Gungahlin, Phillip or around the City $220 max per week I don’t smoke Very quite, very tidy I enjoy keeping to myself Enjoy going the gym or watching tv.
Moving up from Melbourne in early February, and looking to acquire a room relatively soon after arriving (definitely before the end of February!). I'm completely new to Canberra and know no-one there, so moving in with people who could help me settle in to Canberra or interested in exploring Canberra with me would be great! I love going out and being social but I equally enjoy staying at home and enjoying myself. I love snowboarding, video games, tinkering with everything and building gadgets. I'll be working full time, so I will not be home most weekdays during working hours, but otherwise I have a world of time to kill! If you're interested, feel free to shoot me a message.
你好! Guten Tag! Hello Everyone! ;) I am an exchange student from Hong Kong, originally studying Environmental Science in Germany. I am an adventurous person who is very open-minded to new culture and people. I am a solo backpacker as well if I am not studying, and I enjoy trekking (spending time on mountains is always cool), climbing, and sports in general. My other hobbies include boardgames and experimental cooking! I am very independent and have been living with my current German flatmate for over two years. I am looking for a warm and cheerful room for myself during my 5 month stay in Canberra! Have no strong preference for neighborhoods. Hey and I am looking forward to my new experience in Canberra! Hope we could spend some time together during my limited stay! I will arrive in the city in the mid-Feb ;) Thanks!!
A bit about me... I'm originally from London, UK and have been living in Aus for 4 years now - I love it here! I work full-time in conference/event planning, and in my spare time I enjoy salsa dancing, attending bootcamp classes and weekend trips to the coast. I also enjoy a nice glass of wine, great food (not my own cooking!) and a good cup of tea! My current lease is coming to an end soon, as such, I'm now looking for a room to rent in the city for approx. 6 - 9 months. My preference would be a room with an ensuite in an apartment/house sharing with one or two others. As a flatmate, I'm reliable, tidy and social, but will also respect your space. If there is anything else you would like to know about me, feel free to ask. - I'm not interested in team-ups as I only need a place for up to 9 months =)
I am Rogen and working as a full-time in a clinical practice. I am down to earth and sociable, mindful of other people's privacy and space, organized in keeping the tidiness of the place. On my spare time, I go to the gym and attend dancing class. I am also up for good dinner to spend time with my housemate and oh..I love to cook. =)
Hey all! I'm a full time employee and easy going. I like to chat and chill but also understand peoples privacy and space. I'm moving to the city for work, i am looking for an apartment in the city close to the national convention centre. I'm looking to stay for 9-18 months.
I've lived in a shared home and shared my own place in the recent past, so know all about respecting a home and ensuring that its well looked after. I'm the quiet type, enjoys cooking, likes to do my own thing while still being social with the person I live with. I work full time, travel light (so won't need a lot of storage space), and try to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. So if you're interested in having an easy going and respectful flat/house mate, just send me a message. Thanks

Hi! I'm Karene, originally from Brisbane, and I'm moving to Canberra to start phD at ANU. I'm fairly quiet and keep to myself, but also down to chat and hang out with housemates. I'm flexible with living arrangements, but prefer my own room. I work at Kmart, and am on scholarship to study full time, so will probably be out and about a fair bit. Not a huge partier, but happy enough for a social drink here or there with friends. My hobbies are mostly quiet - reading, boardgames, and the occasional Netflix-binge-watch session. I'm more than happy to chill out on the couch with others quietly and watch TV, or go for hikes or adventures through the city. I am a non-smoker
I am a clean and relaxed professional. I like to catch up after work sometimes but highly respect each other's privacy as well. I have a busy schedule during the week and relaxed weekends. I am easy to live with and contribute to the house chores as well.
I am searching for a room to let. I am a 37 year old male from England. A pet less adaptable nonsmoker who enjoys clean, tidy and peaceful living. My hobbies include cooking and cleaning. Just landed a new job in the area. #Capricorn##INTJ##youngest sibling# Cheers Ben
Hi I’m Anthony! I’m from the Canberra region and work in the tech industry. I like to travel and keep active. Looking for a place that’s nice and I can bring my friendly dog
Hi, I'm Tim! I currently live in Casey, ACT and looking for somewhere more central to stay in Canberra. I will be a good person to live with as I am a very tidy and mostly quiet person but very easy to get along with and can respect other people's privacy. I am a bit of a car enthusiast and spend most nights watching movies, reading, or going out for a drive. I would prefer to stay with people who are also tidy and easy to get along with!
I'm a friendly, positive, laid back personality who respects others personal space. At the same time, I'm great company if you would like a chat. I love a good Netflix series but not really a fan of commercial tv. I love sport (more of a spectator these days) and don't mind watching it on the tv. I enjoy the odd bevvy, whether its after work or nibbles and drinks for a random and spontaneous celebration (just cos we can). I'm away from time to time, so there's the added advantage of having the place to yourself occasionally. I'm a fair and honest person and only expect the same in return. I like a clean, tidy house. When you use it put it back regime. Cook dinner, eat and then clean up. That kind of thing. Whilst I work in finance, I'm studying my Diploma in Beauty Therapy which I'll complete this June and yes I need someone to practice massages, facials etc on.
Hi! I'm a graduate in the legal services industry looking for a new place in Canberra. I'm pretty active so usually leave the house pretty early before going straight to work, so I'm mostly around in the evenings. In that time I really enjoy spending time in the kitchen cooking and socialising, although I definitely appreciate and respect the need for quiet time. I don't really do anything that could be accurately described as partying, but can definitely get around dinner parties or whatever is going down around the house. I really like a neat place and enjoy keeping things tidy, but otherwise try to be pretty easy going and supportive where possible of life commitments etc... If I sound like somebody you'd be interested to live with let me know, I'd be really interested to chat!
Hey my name is Chloe I am looking at renting with a couple of house mates. I would be looking to move in around end of March/ early April. I would be looking for a small bedroom in a shared house. Hey! My name's Niall, I'm a full-time undergrad at the ANU. I'm looking for a share-house or apartment in the Inner North. I love trail running, hiking and other outdoorsy activities. I've had bad roommates in the past so I definitely know what NOT to do - I'm clean and get that shared space needs to be kept tidy. I'd love a beer and a chat after uni but also understand everyone's need for personal space. Super keen to hear from you and see how I can add to your household!
I'm looking to rent a place either by myself or with a peaceful, self aware, tidy, friendly person. I love a good conversation, I also like my own time and respect privacy. I am very domesticated, I cook, clean, wash, pay my bill's. I work full time and attend classes at CIT twice a week. I have a full schedule. I have a mountain bike for rides around the lake or block. I like to keep relatively fit. I've been known to send myself to see a movie. So a movie buddy would be a bonus 😊 I have family in Canberra, so a ute or helping hand if we need is never far. I'm looking for a santuary I can be at ease.
Hello, we are a young couple looking for a flat were we have an easy commute to work and can also chill with our cat. We are both currently employed in the pet industry, me as a vet nurse and Sam as an assistant store manager in a pet shop. We own one cat, a very laid back, 10 year old, British Short Hair called Pushkin. She is fully vaccinated, up to date on flea and worming, and is strictly an indoor only cat. The reason we are moving out of our current flat is we don't have a kitchen, and we want to improve our lifestyles by cooking more. We are both into music but our instruments are practiced quietly so not to disturb anyone. We are quiet people and often work long hours, but we are also happy to have a chat if we run into you. We are preferably looking for a small flat (with a kitchen!), but we are also happy to share a house if the people are right. If you have anymore questions please let us know!
My name is Lani and I am 21 studying music at ANU (about to graduate) and working full time. I love everything musical, I also love nature and getting outdoors. I am super laid back and very friendly. I take pride in being a peace keeper and a thoughtful and considerate person. I am tidy and very respectful of privacy but very happy to hang out and would love to be friends with my housemates. My boyfriend lives in the US but is coming to stay with me from May 9 - August 7 therefore I am looking for a place open to couples.
I have share housed in many places before, I like cooking don’t mind bogging into a group cook up. I clean up after myself and I am focused on my studies so and my own business so I’m quiet.
I've moved here from Melbourne as an ICT grad. I am looking forward to move into a rental with two others, preferably Inner-north or Inner-south CBR. I've previously lived in share-houses, so you can expect me to be respectful, clean and tidy. I keep to myself most of the time, though I don't mind spending a time together or having a chat. I have a lean edge when it comes to road trips and adventures though. You'll find me mostly quite but I promise I'm friendly, and I enjoy meeting new people. I do respect for people's privacy and opinions, and I'm not against any of the LGBT+ traditions. Message me, if you think I sound like a potential housemate. Cheers! :)
Hi I'm Isaac.I am 27 and recently secured a job in the ACT public service. In my off time I try and maintain my fitness as well as catching up with people.Easy going bloke, would like to meet people with the same interests.
I'm a nonbinary PhD student at ANU. I'm very clean and friendly, and usually up for a chat. I'm a very outdoorsy person and like to spend my weekends hiking or camping. Otherwise I spend a lot of time playing video games or reading to relax. I'm looking for a place close to ANU with chill and accepting housemates that I can hang out with but also have my own space.
Currently studying in Anu as computer science undergrad looking for some fun roommates to hang around, comfortably looking for clean and furnished rooms and doing part time in kingsley, can give pretty good movie suggestions 😛
I am a second year undergrad studying health science at ANU, working casually at Questacon. I am very friendly, pretty tidy, and love to chat but respectful of space. I like music, art and books, bush walks, spending time with family and friends as well as drinking coffee. I am looking for a room close to ANU with friendly likeminded students or professionals for between 6-12 months moving in over the next few weeks (flexible).
