Hi, I’m Celia, a PhD student in Creative Writing at Murdoch University in my mid 20s. I’m originally from China and am currently looking for a cozy and comfortable place to move into around early September.

I’m tidy, respectful, and easy to live with. I spend most of my time reading, writing, cooking simple meals, exploring cafés, bookstores and taking walks by the river. I enjoy a friendly home environment and always try to keep shared spaces clean, especially the kitchen.

Ideally, I’m looking for a furnished ensuite room or master room in a 2B2B apartment or a granny flat, preferably around Como, Canning Bridge, South Perth, Victoria Park, Mount Pleasant, or nearby riverside suburbs. My budget is up to $360 per week.

My main priorities are a private bathroom, a reasonably spacious room with desk space, and a good kitchen. It would also be lovely to be close to the Swan River, cafés, and public transport.

I’m trans-feminine non-binary, so living with someone who is female and/or queer-friendly is important to me. I’d ideally like to live with a student or young professional around my age, but I’m also very open to FIFO workers.

I would also appreciate a housemate who is comfortable with occasional guests with prior notice. My partner may visit Perth for about a week at some point, and of course I would always communicate this in advance and respect the shared space.

If we get along well and the place feels like a good fit, I’d be very happy to sign for 4–6 months to begin with. I may have some short trips or travel back home during that period, so I’d appreciate some flexibility around this.
